I'm relocating from Brisbane to Sydney permanently for full time work in November and am looking for a relaxed, clean and easy place to live. I am a fun, respectable and easy going girl looking to live somewhere reasonably priced, practical for my work in North Sydney and social but with privacy. Please message me if you want to know more about me to see whether I would suit your household dynamic or for any more information.
I am an IT Sales Professional who has recently moved from Adelaide. I am currently working out west so I head off early and get home around 7 ish each night. That's the work stuff out the way! As for play - I like to chill out with good food and a glass of wine. Sharing good food and good conversation with good people is awesome. Bad thing... depends on your perspective I am a Game of Thrones fan..... Mornings I am a bit quiet but am certainly up for a chat and up for doing other stuff as the day progresses. I enjoy long walks and am keen to get back into kettle bell training and functional movement stuff. Looking for professional people that still know how to relax and have a laugh. looking forward to meeting new people
Hi there, I'm Monique! I'm 23 years old, a qualified personal trainer and have recently completed my University studies (Bachelor of Business). Whilst my life revolves around health and wellbeing I can assure you I am a normal human being e.g. eat naughty treats, love a sleep in, and enjoy a good night out with friends. I am a bit of a fiend for brunch dates, long walks (anywhere, not just on the beach), weights (to burn off all the naughty things I eat), cosy nights in, home cooked meals, a good yarn but I am also down with complete silence. So basically, if you're a person who likes to socialise - cool, I'm down for that! If you prefer your space, I'm down for that too! I'm pretty flexible and understanding.....and I am hardly around with the long hours I am working at the moment. I've been out of home since I was 18 so I consider myself to be pretty housetrained and if there is ever a mess, it is contained to my room. I am respectful of privacy and keep the house tidy. I am looking for an unfurnished room, and can contribute an awesome Dyson vacuum cleaner, Nespresso coffee machine, Global knives, a TV (although a little small), a blender, and a mix of general kitchen utensils. I do have access to a washing machine and fridge if required. I am looking for a place to call home for a long time. I am also very flexible with move in dates :-)
Hi! I'm looking for a place to stay on a short-term basis while I prepare to travel. I am currently working full time and like to be out and about on my time off. I am clean, quiet, friendly and responsible. I am well aware of the boundaries of my housemates and value respect for the other people living in the house. On the other hand, I am friendly, helpful and am always up for a chat. I too am super laid back and my accepting nature makes me a great person to live with.
Mature aged working female. I’m independent and respectful of others. Clean and tidy. Have a well behaved, quiet 11 year old female indoor dog who generally comes to work with me. Have own furniture. Looking for a granny flat or to share with a pleasant non smoking male. Prefer own bathroom.
Hi! My Name is Cassaundra, I am from Singapore, moving to Sydney for work! I am a fun, sociable 27 year old who enjoys the outdoors, long walks, sports, music, and having a good laugh with friends. I am looking for an affordable place with fun flatmates and a place that's close to the train stations. I'm sure it helps that I'm very neat too!
Hi everyone! I am a 22 year old Australian. I am moving to Sydney to complete a 3 month internship. I will be working full time, so I'll be out the house most days. I am a friendly person, and always enjoy a nice chat in the common room. I am also clean and respectful. I have lived in a share house before, and have enjoyed the experience. I would prefer a furnished room. Please feel free to contact me! Cheers
Hi! My name is Sofie and I'm a Swedish girl looking for a room in a shared house. I am tidy, cooperative, easy-going and social. On my free time I like to read, surf, socialize and try new things!
Looking to move any time after 27th October 2017. Looking for a house share situation or an apartment that has good storage spaces. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks, a glass top dining table that stores flat and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Looking for a place that has a CLOTHES DRYER for those rainy days off when I have to do my laundry. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
Hiya, I'm Meg. I'm 25 and work in the CBD area in IT. During the week I'll be at work either travelling interstate or in Sydney. I currently stay in St Leonards but my lease is up soon and would like to move into a new space. On the weekdays I like to go for walks/to the gym, watch the bachelorette (yes you read that right), attempt and fail at cooking then order in. On the weekend, I like to go on roadtrips, catch up with friends for dinner and drinks. I also brunch religiously. For ease of access to the CBD, I need to be close to a train station. Ideally looking for a room with ensuite but I'm also open to teamups and finding an apartment for lease if I can find a clean and tidy flatmate. I'm clean and tidy, I like to keep the apartment looking (and smelling) nice at all times.
(Flexible move date and open-ended length stay) Hello I'm Kim- I'm a studying digital design and working as an educator. I've spent time living overseas and like to live with people who have a positive attitude about multiculturalism. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere on the train line between North Sydney and Chatswood, with unlimited internet to share, and a peaceful, pleasant housemate dynamic. I mostly like to relax and recharge on my own at home, but I like to live with nice people I can have a talk to or watch a movie with from time to time. I'm reliable and tidy, would prefer to be off the main road- somewhere with access to nature would be lovely!
I am a 30 year old female looking to share an apartment with another reliable, tidy female around the lower north shore/ north shore. I work in healthcare, am clean and tidy, respect privacy, non-smoker, no kids, and don't drink alcohol. I like to go to the gym before/ after work and am an outdoors/ active person. I have currently been renting by myself in North sydney, but is getting costly. I already have all lounge, kitchen, dining furniture and appliances, so am happy to share with someone to look for a new apartment. I am after my own bedroom and bathroom, and must need car space. If you would like to meet up to see if you would like to share, please contact me. :)
A bit about me: I'm 24 years old from Brazil and I've been in Australia since mid 2013. I currently work as a service delivery manager for an IT company in Frenchs Forest, Monday to Friday. I consider myself being a very friendly person, tidy, clean, and love watching some Netflix and movies during the week to relax. Going out for drinks and food every now and then is something I enjoy doing as well! On the weekends i like going to the beach, do some snorkelling and catch up my partner and friends most of the times. Happy to answer any other questions you might have :)
I'm very easy going, enjoy being outside and being active! Love watching sport and hanging out with mates. Very considerate and know where my boundaries are. Work full time.
Easy going & friendly, full time working professional, quiet, clean. Like jogging, swimming, live music. Love a beer after work.
Hi, I'm Sean and I'm moving back to Sydney after two years on the Gold Coast. I'm a screenwriter/filmmaker and I work part-time in retail and hospitality. I also run a videography business called Cinebrand, so I spend time editing at home on days off. I grew up in Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong, and have lived in the US (Los Angeles). I love movies, travel, '80s music and healthy food. I'm happy going out to restaurants or cooking at home. I enjoy a fairly quiet home, and don't watch much free TV - I'd rather watch a movie or documentary. Not a football or cricket fan, but I like being active and cycling. I've shared with others before and have also lived alone. I enjoy my privacy and respect others' privacy, but I'm happy to chat and share meals or a drink most of the time. I'm a tidy person who enjoys a clean home, and I don't smoke. I have some furniture (a bed, desk and shelves) but if the room is furnished I can store some of it. Thanks for reading.
I am clean, neat and tidy. Super friendly and easy to get along with. Loves a good chat on the couch with housemates after coming home from work. I am a qualified health professional working in a hospital setting, just relocated to Sydney from Brisbane for a lifestyle change. Prefers non-smokers, pet free and clean housemates.
Yo! Gerard here, also commonly referred to as Gee Rad and a myriad of other names and titles by my mates. I'm currently settling in to the wonderful age of 29 and enjoying that last little bit the 20's have to offer! I work full time during the week as an Electrician and enjoy many other facets of that industry including Audio Visual, Security and Automation. Outside of work I love being in the outdoors. Wether it be a walk, a hike, a climbing of rocks (rock climbing :P), slack lining, camping or just general hangs in any amount of amazingness nature has to offer, I'll generally be up for it. Music is great! And there are so many amazing types and genres. I'm currently attempting (emphasis on attempting) to learn the Acoustic Guitar. I also DJ at a small bar in Crows Nest on weekends which is certainly a bit of fun. I like to cook and try to keep fit and healthy through eating and exercise but I also certainly don't mind a few beers or red wine or some decadent food from time to time. A strong believer in clean and uncluttered common areas as well. I am rather sociable and like getting to know people, especially if I'm living with them. I also do really appreciate my own solo chill time and am respectful of others too. -------- So in wrapping up, I guess what makes a great housemate? Or what makes a housemate great? Well I guess you'd have enough in common with this person to share a close dwelling full time and they would be respectful enough of you and your own space. I've got my side of the respect part down pat so I guess it's up to you to decide wether I'd fit the mould of your household... Looking forward to the possibility of meeting with you!
Hi! I am an international student at the university of sydney. I am easygoing and friendly and respect other's privacy. I speak English, Mandarin and a little bit Spanish. I enjoy reading, jogging, watching movies and making new friends. :)
I am moving out of my apartment in Glebe after finishing uni at the end of November, will start working full time in the city in December. I am easygoing, very tidy and enjoys a bottle of beer after work. I also enjoy making dinner and watch romcoms on weekend if that is your thing as well.
My name is Laura, I am a 26yo vet nurse. I am not much of a party animal, super clean, friendly and of course I love animals. I just returned earlier this year after living in South Africa for 3 years. I also have my 2yo Wiemaraner joining me later this year. He is castrated, very well behaved and well socialised with all animals great and small (from little kittens to rhinos!).
Every time I try to write something here it sounds like a dating profile bio... I'm funny, at least I like to think I am. I work full time in a stable job. I am very motivated when it comes to my work and I am only social on the weekends. Although that's not to say that I am opposed to a couple of glasses of wine in the evening with my flatmates. If you have any other queries just shoot me a message because I have no idea what I am supposed to write on here...
Hey, I'm Adam. What an arduous (check the vocab) process finding your new home and "to-be" flatmates is. So many variables to consider... location, price, compatibility, social influence. I guess that's not that many, really, but you know, you wanna get it right. I currently work as a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice. I become qualified this October and plan to move close to the city. I'm contemplating learning sales before I jump back into the electrical industry, if it all. Apprenticeships can be painful. I have a few months annual leave saved up giving me some time to check out the options once I've move in. Anyways. I despise the whole notion of job-as-identity. Let's get to the good stuff. I'm all about adventure. Some of my outdoor hobbies of have been surfing, skating, hiking and salsa. This year I want to start parkour, yes par-kour! I also love music and a good party. For me, partying should only be occasional. One of my biggest red flags for housemates is getting sucked into a wormhole of mindless weekly binge drinking. Don't get me wrong I'm down for a casual beer but I'm happy and prefer to go to gigs sober. On the flip side of all this I enjoy taking time out to focus, read, plan and ponder. I'm a big fan of health, fitness and self-development. My preference for housemates would be people who think the same about such things. I'm pretty easy going so it's not essential. Get in touch -Adam TLDR; I'm adventurous and introverted. I want to learn sales.
