I'm Matt, 28, and I'm currently moving back to Sydney after an 18 month stint in Melbourne. I work in media/advertising at a large agency based in Barangaroo so I have standard 9-5 work hours. I'm a pretty social person and would love to live with people who enjoy a drink and sharing a meal from time to time, but I can also respect your personal space. I'm a neat and tidy person, and I've lived in share houses since I was in university, so I know how to be respectful and considerate of other housemates. More than anything else, I've missed decent beaches while I've been in Melbourne, so once I'm back that's where you'll find me most weekends. I try to run a couple of times a week to keep fit, and occasionally even find myself in a gym. I also come with a large 4K TV, a brand new fridge and several pieces of furniture (mainly a sideboard/buffet and a TV console), but I'm also happy to keep them in storage if those aren't needed for the house.
I'm looking for an unfurnished room (with own bathroom, or not shared with more than one person) close to public transport. I work full time on weekdays so they’re pretty low key for me. I’m a bit of a hygiene freak, so I like a clean and tidy place and would like to live with similar people. I really enjoy alone time, but always up for a chat with drinks. I have a cute little cavoodle puppy living with me part time. He's toilet trained and I intend to keep him indoors. He’d go to work with me during the day, so he’s basically only ever home when I am. Definitely interested in teaming up with other dog owners to find a pet friendly place and set up a new home. I have a place in mind if anyone's interested.
We are backpacking around Australia on a working holiday visa. We are really easygoing and relaxed and love to socialise but also like our own space. We are both working and are really tidy people.
Margaux likes travel and children. She has a business master degree. Youssef likes sport. He has a engineering master degree. We come from France and are looking a private room from 30sep to 4 nov. We are calm we prefere stay at home and watch movie than go to the night club. We are respectful and discreet.
Hi there, we are couple from Czech republic (Working holiday and studying English). Both mature, pay on time, respectful to cultures, genders and races also pets :) Lived in shared space before, we like kitchen clean, but we do not like to freak out about two dirty plates in a sink and some spots on a stove, no party people. We like beers and chat with flatmates, but also our own space and privacy. Moving in from 1-7/10/2018. Silvie will be full time employed (hospitality, office), big movie geek and passionate diver. Ales will be studying English in CBD and loves to paint with sprays and sports. Some garage or spot in basement would be super extra perfect so he can create, but not a requirement. 350$ is max we can pay, all included. Cheers!
I am a clean, tidy and friendly person, love to have a laugh aswell as respect other people. I work Monday to Friday from 7pm to 3:30pm, so you will see me awake around 5 in the morning making a coffee getting ready for work. Usually a quiet person, i don't party or drink very often. Just an easy going guy who needs a place to live :)
Hello! I am looking for a private furnished room to rent ideally with other female(s) starting October 18th. I’d prefer to be either near Bondi Beach or the city. About me: I'm a 29 year old female from Vancouver, Canada. I’m a flight attendant/personal trainer in Sydney on a working holiday visa. I’m easy to get along with and fun but also mature, respectful and tidy. In my spare time I like to go to the gym and spend time on the beach. I also like to go out to eat and enjoy having drinks with friends. Since I’m new to Australia it would be nice to live with like minded people!x
Hey! My name is Tereza and I’m soon moving to study and work in Sydney from Czech Republic. I already studied in Canada, where I have been in homestay. So I do have previous experience with living abroad and sharing a place to live with people of multiple nationalities and all walks of life. Experience suggests respect and honesty are essential, so let me tell a bit about my preferences. Overall I like my personal space clean and organized (little bit of OCD, haha), so I tend to get best along with people of similar preference. I’m fun but an introvert (INTJ), never party and don’t smoke/have pets/have children. I don’t get along well with loud, party loving, unorganized people I lead healthy, minimalistic lifestyle, and like open spaces, my own personal space and dislike clutter Own (semi)furnished room would be preferred, the closer to center and train the better. My budget is $300/w (including bills). Fast internet is a big plus for me! Happy to answer any questions! :)
I'm a passionate designer/entrepreneur who loves to go out and try fun things. I'm tidy and quiet (sometimes i like to play my guitar) and I'm up for socialising. I am looking for a private room in a share flat/house. I have experience renting and always on time with payments. Move date is flexible. Looking for something long term.
I am a calm and orderly person, I work from Monday to Saturday and I study in the English afternoons, that is why the most likely thing is that during the week I spend the whole day outside and I arrive around 10 at night, so the important thing for me is to find a place that respects the tranquility of the nights in the week, if the place has protection for insects (spiders) would be ideal if you do not have it, I can sleep with an insecticide under my pillow. The weekend I like to share, go out with friends or just relax and rest.
Hi there, Is there a way I can make this more interesting? Anyway I'm Hugh and I'm a 31 year old exercise physiologist (points if you know what that is) and work full-time at a physio practice in Surry Hills. My work days are shifted early so I start around 6:30 everyday and am finished early everyday but Wednesdays. When not at work I don't mind the odd game of golf, surf, gym and beer. I have two indoor-only cats coming with me which I know may be an issue for some. Thanks. Hugh
Howdy! I'm young lady from Finland and moving to Sydney with a lot of hopes and dreams. I am searching for a job, and I'm planning to stay in Australia for at least a year. I have the work and holiday visa and I'm moving in 1st of November. Even though this is my first time living in foreign country I have been travelling a lot before. Right now I am working at a hotel, in a daycare and in a cafe. I’m searching for similiar jobs in Sydney. The words I'd describe myself with are outgoing, kind and happy. I do smile a lot. I'm good at keeping things tidy and organized. I'm going to be an easy roommate. I'm open minded and willing to do things together, but if you want to be alone in peace I'll let you be. I’m a non-smoker myself, but I don’t mind if you smoke as long as you are doing that outdoors. I may be outgoing, but not that much of a party animal. I don’t care if you’re a boy, a girl or whoever you are as long as you are nice to me and treat people with respect. Feel free to contact me and start a pleasant life living with me. :)
Hi, I'm Matt and I'm a climate change campaigner (I tell myself I'm trying to save the world) and I'm flying to Sydney for a month - Mon 24th Sept --> Sun 21 Oct - and looking for an approximately 4 week sub-let. I'm also open to shorter 1-3 week stays if I have to bounce between multiple places. I'm a chilled out, clean person who likes to play board games, have a few wines over chats, read books and watch netflix, go to the gym, hang out the beach and throw a frisbee at the park. I'll be working quite hard through the 4 week by-election, but also up to chat and have a beer if I get the opportunity! Would love to explore Sydney a bit while I'm around. Send me a message ASAP if you have a room in this time period as I am really keen to lock something in.
I’m very nice, sweet and clean. I don’t create much noise and I’m always respectful of my housemates. I like to live in harmony so creating issues is not desirable for me. I like friendly, outgoing, non-judgemental and kind people. I don’t bring many people over at all. I will always respect your space. I’m always on time with bills
Hello guys, my name's Federica and I'm a 31-year-old Italian girl. I'm a friendly and respectful lady, tidy and clean. I work full-time and when I'm off I like doing sport, having long walks, reading a book in a park or at the beach, as well as having a nice chat and meeting friends. I would like to find a nice and relaxed place to call home to share with like-minded mates. Ciao! :)
Hey, I'm a French guy who's coming to Sydney to improve my communication skill so I'd like to find a great community in a good located flatsharing in town. It's important to know that I'm openly gay so I need to find a place where everyone is cool with that. I like sports and i intend to go to the gym, learn to surf and why not skateboarding or other cool stuffs like that so I'll really appreciate sport mates. Im sociable and would like to share some bbq and evenings with my flatmates too (and why not partying at some clubs reasonably). So if you think we could have a great agreement PM me :)
Work in fitness management so work longish hours during the week. Clean, friendly and have a well trained, friendly French bulldog. Usually up around 7 in the mornings to take her for a run before work and also play a bit of water polo and swim twice a week so lead a pretty healthy active lifestyle but I do love my food! Like to be social with housemates over a wine or cooking a meal/netflix but also enjoy some space.
We are a couple from Barcelona, very quiet and respectful. Love having our living space clean and tidy. We both are a visual artists, so we like going to art galleries, museums etc. David love surfing and Alfons having long walks by the beach.
Hi beautiful people, I am currently looking for a room to rent in town for six weeks or potentially for three months instead - relocating from the sunny Queensland. I worked as a dancer in London and looking to continue my career in Sydney. I am a warm, clean and respectful housemate who had been living in a share house environment, plus I always pay my bills on time (happy to supply references). I loved the communal aspects of living with fellow creatives. Cooking eating together, wine and board games. Look forward to hearing from you! Warmest regards, Wing
Beth (23, from England) and me (22, from Germany) are two easy going girls who have been living and working together for the past four months. Beth works as a waitress fulltime and me as a receptionist in a hostel. We are both clean and tidy, love a good night out as much as a relaxed evening on the sofa with movies and good chats!
