I am a friendly, easy going person. I enjoy meeting new people and would love to have some flatmates who like to share a drink and chat in the evenings. I do tend to be more of an introverted personality so am also happy to give people some space. I am tidy (some may say a 'neat freak!') and respectful of shared space. I've been doing alot of housesitting lately, and people often joke their house is cleaner when I leave than when I arrived! I work full time as a Dietitian at Canberra Hospital. I love my job and it keeps me very busy, both with hours at the hospital and I am involved in many extra events within the profession. I spend most of my free time catching up with friends and family, but also enjoy going for walks around the lake, cooking and baking, and reading or binging on netflix. I've also recently joined a social netball team!
Hi! I am a friendly, easy going Primary School Teacher who likes to keep living spaces relaxed, clean and uncluttered. Already living locally, looking for somewhere closer to my job, but not under any pressure to move. I am also pretty flexible regarding rental time period. For fun, I like to be outdoors, do yoga, dance and watch movies.
On a short secondment for 2 months in Canberra until end of June. Looking for a place that is ideally furnished for short term rent. I work full time during the week and most weekends I'm out. Have lived in share houses before and have a real estate reference.
My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
Hello all, I am a 27 year old APS lawyer looking for somewhere to stay for approximately three months while I try to find employment interstate. I am an avid nerd of all things musical and political. I like to spend my free time keeping active, mostly with long distance cycling and going to the gym. I am reasonably social, but can also appreciate others' needs for personal space. I also like to keep things clean and neat. If you have something you think would suit, let me know - I'd love to take a look!
Happy, easy going, clean, enjoy cooking, reliable - especially with rent & bills. Moving from Sydney to Canberra to be closer to family. I have a precious motorbike as well as a car so some garage space for the bike and some tools would be appreciated. Thanks for looking at my profile.
We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
Hello, I am currently looking for a room around Kingston or nearby suburb. I am currently studying, doing my internship, and working part-time. I am easy going, friendly, tidy and adheres to house rules. I have experienced flat sharing in Singapore for many years before coming to Australia to start a new journey. I have a bubbly personality. Most of the time I will be busy due to studies, work, and internship, but I can still mingle with housemates at dinner or whenever I can. :)
Hi, I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for full time work. I just finished my PhD. I'm 30 (but a young 30), I am a very happy, bubbly and tidy person. I am single and have lived in many share houses before so I am very respectful in terms of privacy and noise. Looking for an easy going share house. Moving in the 6th or 7th of May would be ideal. Hope to hear back, Thanks, Elle.
I am a mature, professional woman. I respect others' privacy and I always leave the kitchen clean. I am quite happy to help out others - like walking the dog. My preferred length of stay and start date is flexible. I would prefer my own bathroom, but that's not a deal breaker. I am happiest in a warm home with lots of natural light and outdoor space. Ideally, I would be in an inner suburb.
Full time Communications/IT/Security guy, and part time long distance uni student, working from home as an advance staff member for my company, before a new office is organised. I'm quiet and independent, but more than happy to socialise when housemates want to. Open minded and accepting of all walks of life. If there's animals, especially a dog or two, I'm a very happy camper. I've lived in 3 share houses in Perth, since 2010, with the same group of people. They were complete strangers to begin with, but have since become very close friends, so I know the ropes of living with other people. Very much a neat and tidy person, especially in shared spaces - no point in creating hassles when it's so easy to keep things clean. Couldn't really care less about smoking (i.e I don't smoke, but don't care if others do), same goes for partying, unless there's a complete consensus with all other housemates. I'm good with a pair of gloves, a spade and watering can. Same goes for power tools, and generally fix most things myself, when the need arises. More than happy to allow the professionals/landlords to do this instead though. If you've got issues with a computers, or even basic motoring/bike stuff, I'm pretty good with that stuff too. Basically a jack of many trades and willing to use these skills. During down time, I love a good bourbon/cider/beer and BBQ, pretty good at marinating a bunch of different types of meat too. Throw some good 90's music, or anything that's been played on Triple J for the last 20 years, and I'm pretty happy. Back in WA, I loved throwing myself and my mountain bike down a trail. I enjoy going to the gym, I'm no crazy junky, but I do enjoy keeping myself fit. I own an X-Trail, that doesn't exactly go overly fast, but get's me out and about into bush land, where camping is very much desired. Drop us a bell, and let me know what's going :)
Hi. I have just recently moved from Melbourne to Canberra for work (I'm a teacher - don't let that put you off!) and study (I'm doing my Master's in Asian and Pacific Studies at ANU). I'm an easy going person with a bright and bubbly personality. I've left all my furniture behind in Melbourne so I'm hoping to move into a fully furnished apartment/house - but happy to buy my own bedroom furniture if needed. I grew up in a large family (9 kids) so I know how to share.
I am a public servant and go away most weekends to the coast. I am a clean and tidy person and am very easy to get along with. I like cooking and am willing to chip in with the chores. I am also very happy to chat, socialise and relax with a glass of wine after dinner.
I'm an easy going student commencing at ANU in February and I'm looking for a place to rent close by or at least convenient to get to by bus/foot/bike! I lived in a boarding house prior to this and am aware of the general etiquette involved in a shared environment! I'm a sociable person however and respectful of others and sensitive to their space! Thankyou
Hi, My name is Navina and I work at the ANU :) I'm looking for a room ASAP (but flexible with move in date), am friendly, easy going but also respect people's privacy. Big animal lover (but don't have pets). Navina

We are a young couple working full time as well as studying full time online. We are easy going and enjoy watching a game of rugby, having a drink with friends, or going out for a nice bite to eat. We both work very hard and are clean and tidy. We look forward to moving in with someone who shares the same interests.
We are a young easy going couple. Have lived in share houses before so we know how to keep everyone happy, whether you like your own space or are looking for company. We both work full time and like to relax on the weekends. We tend to go surfing/snowboarding a lot on weekends. Would fit in with any household.
I am a 37 year old professional. I am neat, tidy and peaceful. I am used to living with housemates and being flexible and accommodating. I am happy to provide references of past landlords.

I'm an easy going tradie. Early riser to take my female Husky for morning walks. Outdoorsy kinda guy with a 4x4 Ute and a dirt bike. I can cook alright, keep to myself mostly, but like a good social drink and or a chat. Keep a clean room, but can put up with a bit for clutter. Love to try learn new things, and will also be getting back in to the gym once settled. Looking for a place for a minimum of 6 months for my pup and I.
Hi! I'm looking for a place to call home around the end of May (negotiable)- looking in the inner north/inner south area :) About me: Currently studying nursing/paramedicine at ACU (and will always have some crazy/gruesome stories!). Currently work in hospitality way too much, and always bring home lots of goodies! Hobbies include: working too much, volunteering with St Johns Ambulance, booking spontaneous holidays to avoid studying, crafting and baking that would make your grandmother proud! What I'm looking for: looking for a friendly and cheerful house, with roommates who are always up for a chat and/or spontaneous adventure! If you're looking for a friendly/quirky roommate, send me a message :)
Hi there, (I'm looking for place in Manuka, Kingston, Griffith and Forrest area, only!) I'm relocating to Canberra from Sydney and I'm after Flatmates or even to Team-up and start a new lease, around Kingston area !! I'm 33 years old, work in childcare full time. Hey! I'm friendly, easy going, currently studying full-time (RHD) and working part-time, too. I'm my perfect mix of social and enjoying time to myself. Very independent. I'm looking to share with one or two others in a fully furnished, clean, relaxed place with lots of sunlight. If you have a secure car space - even better! :)
I am currently working full-time as a public servant after moving to Canberra a year ago. I love to cook and make a great cup of coffee. I also tend to keep busy during the week, but enjoy winding down occasionally with a drink and a chat. I'm easy-going and keen to meet new people, but I'm also happy to kick it with my Netflix subscription. I also got an IKEA voucher for Christmas so could always pick up a POÄNG if required (or other useful household items).
Friendly, respectful, clean and tidy ( but not uptight about a breakfast bowl left in the sink etc..) working professional. Looking to share with relaxed and respectful other / others in a quiet but friendly home. In need of a larger room with built ins and use of a bathtub please :) Dog friendly. Open to living in any area in Canberra that is no more than a 20 minute commute to Civic.
We are a young couple (not a fancy one) yet have dreams; dreams not too big, but practical; not impatient, but calm; positive & full of aspirations, yet respectful & ethical; do not drink (hence sober), yet social. And on.. and on.. And if we end up teaming together, you can fill the rest... :)
I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who is a full time self-published writer and performer. I spend most of my days writing (plus admin and marketing my books) in cafes. I have been a counsellor, cleaner and public servant. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
Looking to share over the next 6-12 months. Preferably inner-south or inner-north areas in Canberra. Work full time, study part time. Gym often. Please no pets thanks :)
Hi there, My name is Rashmi and I'm a 26 year old public servant working in the Parliamentary triangle. I'm looking to move into an existing share house, or to start a new lease with another awesome individual. I've been living in Canberra for 2 years, but am originally from Melbourne. I've been share housing for quite some time and consider myself really clean and tidy, respectful and very easy going. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie and absolutely love making food for my housemates and hosting dinner parties. I'm also pretty active and do enjoy checking out the beautiful scenery around Canberra. Coming from Melbourne, I'm often away on the weekend, so you would probably have the apartment to yourself a lot. Unfortunately I don't have any furniture besides that in my bedroom, so I would be looking to start a new lease with someone who has quite a few things, but would happily also purchase furniture if I can find the right fit in housemate. I'm looking for someone with a similar mindset, is fun, likes to have a glass of wine here and there and wouldn't mind having some Netflix binge sessions ;) My lease is up on the 12th of May, so am pretty keeeeeen to get the ball rolling. Please contact me and we can catch up for a coffee or glass of wine. Cheers :)
Hey :). I work in the Public Service and currently living in my own 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment. I would like to either team up or move into an existing shared fully furniahed accomodation. I am very laidback and quiet person. I am a self confessed workaholic so i often work early to late most days. If youd like to chat more and discuss ideas, please message me :).
Hi all, I'm a 28 yo female, recent PhD graduate in genetics from Adelaide and I'm starting ongoing work in the public service next month. I'm currently living on a farm outside of Canberra, so I'd like to find a place in Canberra before work starts, because I am not looking forward to the commute! I'm friendly and social, a n/s and I enjoy brunch (if food counts as a hobby 😉), reading, bushwalking, and hanging with friends. I also love animals, so I'm happy to share with pets.
