Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
I'm new in Canberra, have lived in the Northern Territory in the last 10 years. Just got a full time job in hospitality industry. Enjoy yoga, reading, hiking and love big fur babies. I can't stay with people who love party, or being noise. Like to hang with people sometimes, and also enjoy my own space.
Hi there, I'm a 30 y.o. soon to be public servant looking for a place in a friendly, tidy share house. I'm moving over from Adelaide, looking to move in from approx 20th July onwards - I have some flexibility there. I am and will be working full time, 9 - 5 type. Outside of work I like to eat good food, sometimes attempting to cook some! I bake things. I reluctantly keep fit, running and random classes. I really love to read - a range of things. I'm also teaching myself to play piano - I have a little electric one with headphones, don't worry, no noise for you. I've lived in sharehouses for ages. I'm looking for friendly people, who like a laugh and a wine, or a netflix binge and cuppa with housemates. And also a place that's clean and tidy. I'm not interested in living with cats but would absolutely consider dogs.
Hi! I'm a 25 year old, working full-time as an environmental professional. I enjoy spending most of my spare time in the outdoors rock climbing, hiking, camping and mountain biking. I'm environmentally conscious and looking for like-minded people to share a home with. Preferably looking for somewhere with good natural lighting and outdoor spaces. Get in touch if you have a room or want to team up!
I've been in Canberra about a year now and my shorter-term lease is up so I'm looking for a new place to stay. I work at Parliament House so would like somewhere close to the Parliamentary Triangle if possible. I'm easy going, fun to be around, sociable, and flexible. My partying days are a bit behind me but I love to chat and a sneaky beverage wouldn't be terrible. I'm very clean and am usually pretty busy with my job. I'm a decent cook and I'm happy to muck in and share meals, I love my slow cooker and am big into meal prepping so I usually only take up the kitchen a couple of times a week. I enjoy yoga, netflix, gaming, reading, and I'm very into music. I love heavy metal and play both the violin and the shamisen but I promise I won't play them in the house. I also always listen to metal with my headphones on. Due to the security clearances required for my job any person I live with will have to be willing to undergo a (pretty mild) security assessment. You'd just have to be willing to tell me all the travelling you've done in the last 10 years and the places you've lived, not a big deal... unless you're a covert agent...please don't be a covert agent. "Tegan is a great roommate, clean, courteous and not paying me to say this" - my current roommate.
Hi :) I have moved to Canberra 6 months ago from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and have been renting an apartment by myself in Phillip. As renting by myself has become a touch too expensive I have decided to try Flatmates to share the load. I work Full-time in Fyshwick as a Business Analyst and spend my Tuesday and Thursday nights training an under 16 boys soccer team along with playing for a team on Saturday's. When I do have down time I like to spend it watching tv and having a few drinks with friends in the civic area. If I sound like the kind of roommate for you please get in contact. Thank you
Hi guys, my name's Daniel and I'm a pilot originally from Perth but have spent the last year and a half in Newcastle and will be moving to Canberra for the foreseeable future at the end of August. I am a really practical and down to Earth kind of guy. I love new experiences and lead an active lifestyle so enjoy getting out for a run, swim, hike/camp, travelling or sampling different local beers. I don't smoke and I won't be bringing any kids or pets and will gladly help out around the place and tend to be pretty clean myself. So looking for kind of the same in a housemate. Initially I will be moving by myself but my girlfriend (29) will follow at the end of the year (~Dec). So ideally finding somewhere or starting up a new sharehouse that would be ok with another addition either permanently or for short term while we find another place would be great depending on how you feel about it. The ideal location would have a supermarket, some cafes and maybe a pub/bar or two within a short distance but I am pretty easy. Good public transport options are pretty important too. I prefer something on my own up to a share house with a maximum of 4 occupants total and am pretty clean and very considerate myself. So if you happen to have a room or would like to look at starting up a new share house and think I may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Cheers! Dan
Hey there, my name's Ethan and i'm looking for a new bunch of legends to live with! I work full time as a carpenter, but like to spend my free time taking trips down to the coast, riding the mountain bike or enjoying the company of my friends. I've been living in different share house configurations for the last few years, but as I'm sure you know, things change and people move on. I'm very tidy, respectable, and punctual with rent/bill payments. I can provide roomie references from any of my previous share houses if needed!
Just started looking :) Moving up from Victoria so new to the area. Looking for sharehouses or housemates that are social but respectful of each others space- shared feed and drinks together be great, but respect each others space sort of vibe? Haha I've lived in share houses since uni- respectful and clean country kid at heart, into sport and exercise but still enjoy a parmi at the pub and a beer or wine Will be working in Phillip so probably looking for somewhere on the South side of the lake but open to suggestions :)
University Graduate/Runner living in Canberra, looking to find a spare room in a sharehouse ASAP! I work at a cafe and also am working as a marking assistant, making up a full-time work week in addition to a heavy training program. I'm a very friendly person and a lot of fun to be around. I am a respectful, quiet housemate and am very helpful around the house (cooking, cleaning etc.)
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I love to just chill out and read (I'm a giant bookworm and spend 90% of my time reading) or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good chat and movie marathon. I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal.
