Newbie in Canberra, easy going guy working full time in the tech industry doing HR function. On my spare time, I go to the gym, do a bit of sports and occasional outdoor activities. I like to have my own space to relax but I don't mind drinking a glass of wine or beer, watching Netflix or having dinner with my flatmates. I like to keep the house clean and tidy.
Currently moving from Sydney to Canberra as I've just been employed as a public servant! looking for somewhere to stay within Canberra preferably a 1 bedroom that's not too far from Symonston. I'm clean, quiet and quiet into my games. I also enjoy a chat and easy to get a long with!
I'm tidy and sociable, I know how to cook, and I can make a decent cocktail or two. I’m moving to Canberra at the end of Jan to start a full-time APS job. Looking for a place in central Canberra. I’m relaxed and friendly, but respectful of others and their space. I’m pretty laid back and enjoy hiking, cooking (I can make a mean spanakopita), TV dramas, comedies, reading, photography and sport. I also love a good wine or G&T every now and then. I'm able to mostly furnish a place with a lounge suite, TV, bed, washing machine, cutlery, crockery, and some cupboards/bookshelves if required. I will also be bringing a small espresso machine with me. If you’d like to know anything else about me, feel free to ask!
I am starting a graduate position with the APS. I am fairly social and open to hanging out or just relaxing at home. I am looking for a place with a carpark to get myself established in Canberra. Am fairly flexible with the length of stay, I could be happy to settle in for the longer term.
I'm down to earth and like to learn from the people around me. I need a bit of solitude from time to time, but also make an effort to be a supportive housemate. The outdoors, exercise, and conversations over coffee are some of the things that I enjoy most. I'm a small business owner looking to knuckle down for the year ahead. I'm looking to either team up with one or two others to find a house to rent, or move into an existing share house. If you think we'd get along as housemates, please get in touch.
I am pretty clean but not oppressively so. I like to have fun but also like a lot of time to myself to work on passions and projects. I'm good at cooking and am a pretty decent conversation, whatever you're into. Friendly and easy going, good taste in things but also not too judgemental, so if you have bad taste don't worry ;)
Hi, I am a 24 yr old male. Currently working fulltime with Capital Football and Canberra United managing the W-League team and managing the high performance programs for Football in the Canberra Region. I'm looking for a house with a friend of mine, Andrew, who is a 25yr old male, also working fulltime as an engineer for a firm in Fyshwick. We're looking for two bedrooms in a house (preferably) somewhere on the inner south or south side of Canberra so that we can remain close to work and family. Outside of work I currently play AFL for Eastlake football club and am studying a Master of Commerce online at RMIT. I'm very easy going and enjoying spending my down time out with some friends or reading books. Both of us are from Canberra, born and raised, and extremely respectful of others and their own space. We like to hang out with others and cook meals, however, are also respecting of people's privacy and own space. We're looking to move in as soon as possible and happy to contribute to whatever the household requires (furniture etc.)
Okay so a bit about myself, I have lived in share housing before so I definitely know the dill. I’m 19 years old, I work as a dental assistant in Manuka. For fun I like to hang out with friends, eating, movies, drinks all that kinda stuff! I enjoy watching Netflix after work and enjoy socialising over dinner. :) *must be in walking distance to a bus stop too Lauren x
Hi, I'm Nancy and I'll be moving to Canberra (from Sydney) in Feb to study Honours at ADFA - looking for a room in the inner North or South Canberra. I've got sharehouse experience and good rental history. I'm fairly introverted and respect housemates' privacy, but as I'll be new to the city I'm quite keen to socialise and have a chat and share meals and a drink when we're all free. I'm excited to explore walks and hikes around Canberra, and hoping to improve my cooking and baking skills. I'm tidy, a non-smoker and don't have pets (but more than happy to share with pets!).
University Graduate/Runner living in Canberra, looking to find a spare room in a sharehouse ASAP! Working casual cafe work during the week in addition to a heavy training program. I'm a very friendly person and a lot of fun to be around. I am a respectful, quiet housemate and am very helpful around the house (cooking, cleaning etc.) Currently living in Narrabundah but looking to move out within the month!
Hey! I'm Daniel, I have just graduated from a law degree in Tasmania and I'm moving to Canberra in February to take up a position in an APS Grad Program. I am looking for a room for rent and one or two housemates. I'm a housemate for all seasons - I like my own space and to chill, but would be more than up for a chat, cook or adventure on occasion. I'm clean, neat, patient, respectful and a good listener. I have spent the past two years living on my own and the year before that living in a share house and I enjoyed both. I love music but promise to put on headphones and keep it quiet. Please feel free to message me!
Hi! I am looking to move to the inner north, city or belco area. I work full time at a law firm and study law at UC part time. When i am home i am studying or cooking. I have a cat (3 years old, lovely, friendly and cuddly) and also a dog (mini fox terrier, 1 year old, playful and doesn’t yap!). Cat is indoors 80% of the time, on my bed or the couch, he does like to lay in the sun in the afternoon. Dog is the same, back yard preferably (not a balcony) so she can play during the day. I then take her for walks most nights and on the weekends. She is trained and doesn't make a mess. Just wants cuddles and to pay tug of war! Looking for a 2-3 bedroom house with ultimately, although not necessary, my own bathroom. A house mate that is clean and tidy and doesn't mind if i have friends over a some nights. I am an Australian girl, 23, a hard working professional and will keep the house tidy. I am not a vegetarian but not opposed to someone that is. I am LGBT friendly. Don't mind if you smoke outside. Let me know if you have any questions!
I am an Interior Designer who enjoys adventures, yoga and pilates. I am currently studying my second degree one day a week in landscape architecture. My family live in a small country town which I love to visit. I am looking for a housemate who is down to earth, easy to talk to and has positive vibes. I do enjoy peace and quiet but also love a good chat and a glass of wine!
Hi, I'm in my mid-30s and work F/T. I'm looking to move into an unfurnished room with plenty of space, and also a little storage space. I'm tidy and clean, chatty, but respectful of others' space. Fairly busy and independent, love keeping active and getting outdoors when I can (walks & hikes, trips to the coast), although I do have a horrible penchant for TV when the Bachie is on. Looking for house mates of roughly the same age and who also work F/T, and it is most important to me that we all click and also have the same living expectations. If it sounds like I would fit your household, get in touch! Gabby
Hey! I'm 23, and work full time for a consulting firm. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. In me, you will find a very kind flat mate who doesn't mind sharing all the good food that I can cook ;) I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I don't drink or smoke. I am not a "party" person so do not worry about noise with me in the house.
Hi, I'm Hannah - I'm 28 years old, and moving from Perth to Canberra in mid-February to start a new role in the APS. I'm looking to share a place with one or two others, preferably somewhere in Canberra's inner-south. I'm pleasant, tidy and conscientious, enjoy socialising but also quiet time to recharge. I'd like to live with other young professionals who are keen for friendly chats (current events or Game of Thrones both work) and some shared meals. I like to cook, keep active, play a bit of music and get out and explore. Flatmates that would be keen to hike on the weekends (or share their local knowledge) would be a bonus!
Hi, my name is Samantha and I am a dual student from Germany which means that I work 6 months a year and study the other 6 months. From the end of january until the end of march I will be working in Canberra.
I'm currently working part time at a clothing store and will be starting part time study in Beauty Therapy in February. I've been renting/in share homes for a year now and I'm looking for somewhere new. I love to cook healthy meals and keep active and would love to share a home with someone with a similar lifestyle (although not essential).
Hi, I've recently relocated to Canberra from Melbourne. I work full time in the APS and in my spare time enjoy reading, cooking, and playing sports. I am looking for a room not too far from the office ideally with my own bathroom, but am flexible on that.
My name is Aaron, I’m 18 and a student at the University of Canberra. I have enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Psychology which i’ll start in February. I’m an easy going guy that gets along with almost everybody, and is considerate and respectful of others. I’m generally quiet and i appreciate keeping things clean and tidy (especially in the Kitchen!). I don’t require much, and i’m generally pretty flexible. I’ve had some experience living in a couple of sharehouses around Canberra in the past year, which has taught me how to live harmoniously with others and has also provided me with amazing friends. I’m always keen to check out a live gig or have an occasional bevvy, and i always enjoy meeting new and intriguing people. I enjoy watching films and i work in New Acton at Palace electric cinema, where i’ve been for the past year or so. I’m looking for something more stable and secure, with some brilliant people. Hopefully before University starts back up in February this year. Cheers!
I'm currently moving from Perth WA to Canberra for full-time work for the government. I am easy going, easy to get along with and looking for a room in an established share house close to my work. I enjoy reading and cooking. I generally consider myself a bit of a handy person and can fix things.
