I'm Matthew, 29, single, non smoker and I am looking for a room share. I have a full time job and I am studying an MBA part time at Bond. I am not looking to live with someone who's partying 24-7, though I enjoy the odd beer on the weekend. I try to keep healthy, I'm normally in the gym by 6:30am then straight to work, so I'm out the door early. Happy to live with male or female as long as they are clean, tidy and honest. I'm fairly laid back and will be either working or studying. I have a background in film production so I can always recommend a good movie. Keen for walks, hikes and adventures on weekends. I will potentially be on the coast for 3 years whilst I finish my MBA. I can move almost straight away.

I am a 23yo female from Finland, looking to relocate myself down under. For the past 4 years I've been living in London but decided to pack my bags and pursue a degree in Naturopathy in Endeavour College of Natural Health from February onwards. I am therefore looking for a new place to call home in Burleigh Heads/Coolangatta area. I'm really into healthy living and love spending my free time outdoors, doing yoga and enjoying good meals, or spending time with my friends going to gigs or having a glass of wine. When at home I very much enjoy my quiet time and would consider myself to be very respectful of people's private spaces however I'm looking to have a chat or share a meal with my flatmates occasionally!
- Currently working full time in finance - Pretty laid back kind of girl. I love to have a love and a good chat! - I have been in share houses before so I understand how important it is to respect your housemates - I also understand how important it is to keep communal areas tidy - I love sightseeing and Sunday road trips - My goal is to focus on my fitness this year - I am new to the GC so would love to become friends and not just housemates
Friendly, clean and tidy I'm a social individual but also like my space and respect others space. Quiet and respectful to shift workers and not a party animal but will have a couple drinks on a weekend. Hard worker and work full time
Hi! I am a dent student who is about to start my first year at Griffith University. I am looking for an furnished accommodation that is relatively quiet with public transport to university. Although I'll proabbly be studying 90% of the time, I'm always down for a good chat or a meal out. I also have experience living in a shared house. Feel free to contact me. :)
28 year old (legal) professional, early to bed and early to rise :) A rough idea of my 'daily' routine: 4.30am wakeup gym work get home from work about 6-6.30pm dinner, etc. sleepy time at or around 9-10 Saturdays are usually spent out and about with friends and/or work and/or lazing at home (depends on the week, to be honest). Sundays are mostly chore day-- laundry, groceries, cooking/cleaning, etc. I am very personable (or so I'm told) and enjoy meeting new people (especially from different professions/walks of life. Not much of a party person, but I enjoy wine from time to wine :) Non-smoker. I keep a clean (borderline meticulous) home and I am fairly conservative with utilities. I'm told I'm a great cook, so I don't mind cooking a meal to be shared. Very considerate of other's space/things and privacy. If I sound like someone you could live with, let me know :) And if you have any questions, just ask!
Hello! I'm looking to move into or start a share house with some like minded people. I am a PT who's very passionate about the health and fitness industry (typical right). My future housemates would preferably be similar to me in that sense. I'm a figure model competitor which makes it very hard to be normal socially :/ strict diets etc etc. I'm tidy and easy going and don't mind pets so really it's a pretty simple situation:)
Hello! My name is Paula and I come from Sweden! I've after many years of waiting finally arrived on the Gold Coast! Now I'm here on a working holiday visa looking for work in hope to settle down here for 2-3 months. Other people describes me as a caring, honest and funny person. I'd say I'm the kind of person who is easy to compromise with so I'm not hard to stay with. I like to keep things clean though to have a good environment around. My interest are animals and animals rights, children, swimming, gymnastics, travels and skiing. In Sweden I just gratuated from school but I've also worked in a hotel reception during the summer holidays and all year around taught gymnastics to children two days per week! I'm looking forward to come and have a look at your accomodation on the Gold Coast. If there are other young people in the property already, that would be great! :) Best regards, Paula
Hello! My name is Amy and I study Architecture full-time at Griffith University. My best friend is my Jack-Russell... His name is Juno and he's very well behaved and obedience-certified. I don't drink or smoke, party or make much noise, but I enjoy being creative, keeping active, and staying positive! Thankyou for reading :)
We are a professional working couple and loving owners to Kirra, our 7 year old Labrador. We are looking for a one or two bedroom place/granny flat where all 3 of us can live comfortably. I am Irish and I love to cook.
We are nice people and easy flatmates. Tidy, respectful, not party people (but we like to enjoy a nice cold beer after long day sometimes), we like to cook. We're in our (very) early 30's, Czech/Argentinian, both working and reliable with rent (and in general). We like to surf, be active outdoor.
Registered provisional psychologist, currently finishing my last 3 months of Masters of Clinical Psychology. I'm a clean, tidy, trustworthy, and friendly person looking to find somewhere nice to live where I can relax on weeknights and head to the beach with friends and go out for breaky on the weekends. Current lease is up in early May and am keen to move closer to the beach (on or just a few blocks, walking distance away). Ideally would love own bathroom and garage.
We are very clean people and don't like to get in others way. We keep to oursleves and we cook and clean! We are from FNQ Cairns QLD, My parents bought me a place to move into but have had trouble with Finalising the purchase due to tenant issues. We have now moved down and on the 5th feb will need to move somewhere. I'm a hairdresser and have a full time job in Burleigh heads and my partner is a marine biologist. We don't drink a lot so we don't party and aren't out late. We are both very active people and like going on adventures out doors and can't wait to go to the beach :)
Hi, My name is Christine, I am 26 years old, I'm an exchange student from Norway. I'm looking for a place to live while I study at Griffith University, Campus Gold Coast. I'm studying Digital Media - Interior, bachelor. I'm allergic to cats. I don't smoke and can take a glass of whine sometimes, but I'm not a party girl. I'm quiet, tidy and a clean person (I always clean up after myself!). The first thing I do is to pay my bills. And I respect peoples privacy. PS. I dont want to share a room and I'm hoping to find a place thats not too far away from Griffith Uni. And as you can understand, it will be hard for me to come and see the place and meet the owners/renter, but I do have both Facebook and Skype :) Regards Christine
Adventure is my middle name whether it be a trip to the supermarket for a bottle of wine or a hike through sticks to see water running down some rocks, I'm there! I'm a Happy-go-lucky, down to earth kind of gal Tidy and respectful of y'all spaces I'm moving from a small country town in Victoria to plant myself ocean side, it would be pretty good to have some like minded people to share a house or to just put above adventures into place Let's be friends!
I am a friendly, Danish girl who is studying to become a teacher. I am moving to the Gold Coast in February to study for one semester at Griffith University. In my spare time I like running and sports in general, reading, cooking, playing games and hanging out with friends and family. I am looking for a place from the middle of February to the end of June. You are more than welcome to contact me if you have any questions. - Melanie

Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and now we're going to chill out until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - 8Yrs old and is THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! Facestalk me, you know you want to ;)
Hey my name is Alex I'm originally from Canada. Been living in Australia 8 yrs. I'm a pretty laid back person i enjoy my outdoors and my hobby would have to be cars. I love my music.. any type really, depending on the mood. Recently moved to the gold coast, working as a European specialist mechanic in Burleigh heads. Looking for reliable and responsible room mates as I've experienced bad ones in the past. I would prefer living with fewer people as i enjoy my space and privacy and just believe it's less complicated. If this suits anybody or is of interest please let me know. Thanks
Hi! I'm Sean, a 25yo Canadian here in Oz on a working holiday visa - though I'm looking for a place on the Gold Coast to call home for at least 4 months. I have a degree in cognitive neuroscience, and worked in research for about 3 years, but have recently decided to follow what actually makes me happy rather than what I thought seemed most impressive or prestigious at the time - and chasing my dream of becoming a wildlife veterinarian :) I spent 6 months at the Adelaide Koala and Wildlife Hospital, and had an amazing time. As much as I loved it there, I'm ready for a change of scenery! I'm just returning to the mainland from a trip around Tasmania, and on my way to the Gold Coast in hopes of finding similar work - though the area is beautiful enough I could be happy doing most anything, especially if there's a dog or two around :) I'm also a performing (when I can!) musician - mainly acoustic guitar and singing, lots of finger picking folk, blues, soul, etc. Love to share music and jam if anyone else plays :) I've lived in multiple share-houses with a variety of people of all different backgrounds, languages, genders, and orientations across their respective spectrums :). I know how to give people their space while at the same time contributing to a fun, relaxed, and functioning household. Ps the site keeps warping all my pictures into creepily close up Sean-circles haha. This is the closest approximation for now!
Hi :) We are a very laid back couple working and both business owners so we don't have time to party but we do like socializing. We own a female Great Dane and she is amazing. Doesn't bark and is super friendly with adults and children. We are currently living in Coomera but are not enjoying it very much. We miss the beach as we both are surfers. We're hoping to get a little closer :)
I am a independent individual and am a strong believer of cleaning up after myself after i make anything. I am looking at moving very soon as i am starting my Diploma of nursing on the first of Feb. Anyone that has a room available would love to hear from you :)
Hi, I am a clean and tidy 27 year old Canadian on a working holiday. I am currently working part time and looking to live and enjoy the Gold Coast. I live a quiet life at home and am happy to be on my own or join in on any adventures that arise. I am looking for accommodation for the next 2-3 months.
I'm Lizzie from Tasmania, I'm moving up to the Gold Coast to work/train/compete as a professional surfer! It has been a life long dream of mine and I'm very determined to give it a good shot! I will be competing a bit during the year and I have a training scholarship at the HPC surfing academy, so I will be training there throughout the week also. I'm a very relaxed person, clean and tidy, I'm a social person but respect when people want time to themselves and respect their privacy. I'm active and healthy and love the beach so I'm looking for a room semi close, but I will look at anything. I'm looking for flat mates of similar age or similar interests but I'm not too fussed. I'm moving up soon but have a month of travelling and competing so I don't need anything urgently, but I'm keen to find a place to settle in and call home.
Hi I'm Bree, I'm moving to the Gold Coast very soon and I'm looking for a great place to live with 1 or 2 people who would love to have me and my beautiful dog Luna live with them. She is a Keeshond and is just delightful :)
I am friendly, easy going, genuine, honest, reliable, flexible, adaptable, balanced. I am looking for a furnished separate Granny flat or 1 bedroom UNIT as I have a 16 year old house trained cat. Preferably with a small backyard for her to enjoy. I have a car so must suburbs around Surfers would be fine. I would prefer NO SHARE due to my cat being scared of new people and other animals.
Hey I'm Katie. I work full time and am also studying post-grad, have been living on the GC for about ten years. I'm pretty chill and quiet but also enjoy a couple of beverages on the weekend and playing guitar badly when nobody else is home. I have a weakness for stupid movies and good coffee. I always pay rent and bills on time, am keen to pitch in for household chores and am easy to get along with :) Looking to move within the next week to two weeks if possible, doesn't matter if furnished or unfurnished. Pretty much anywhere from Southport down to Burleigh out to Robina is good for me. Would probably prefer own bathroom if possible and somewhere I can park my car. (I seem to be pretty garbage at uploading a decent picture without the website mega-zooming in on my face which is just not a good look, hit me up if you want to check out my social media etc)
Hi, my name is Nathan, Im looking for a room in a house share located between Broad Beach and Burleigh. I would like to share a place with some people that are easy going, happy to hang out and have a couple of drinks but also respect each other's space. I'm 33 and work full time for a company based in Burleigh Monday to Friday. I'm pretty easy going, clean and tidy. In my spare time I like to cruise to the beach on my push bike, go for a run or a walk, chill with a couple of drinks and sometimes I make myself go the gym. On the weekends I like to go exploring, get away for a night or two and I'm always on the lookout for good band. If u think u might have a spare room in place u might like to share with me please let me know. Thanks!
Clean and friendly. Quite active, into health & fitness and have a cute little dog. Milo is getting a little older so although he does love to play, he certainly loves his naps too. He's super chilled, basically doesn't even know how to bark and is completely house trained.. and loves a cuddle! :) Just moved up from Melbourne.

I don't do drugs, I do smoke occasionally but only outside. I am not a party animal, but enjoy a few beers/wines. I respect other peoples space and am very tidy. I keep fit and am pet friendly if you have pets :) Cheers, Garth

We are both full-time uni students and work part-time, looking for someone who is social, fun, outgoing and preferably a non-smoker to move in with. We are both tidy people who respect privacy and are both reliable for our share of rent. Looking at around $150 each on rent a week. Feel free to message us for more details.

Hey! My name is Pavel and I’m a 19 year old Russian/Irish guy moving to Gold Coast for a working holiday. I love travelling, meeting new people and socialising. Fitness is my passion and I love going to the gym, jogging, swimming, you name it! I currently don't have a job lined up when I arrive but I hate being a couch potato and will definitely find a job! I get on well with everyone but I prefer a social household! I'm young, lively and am always up for a few drinks and a chat so it would be great to find someone with the same qualities. With that being said I am very respectful of both people and the property. I'm tidy and enjoy cooking healthy as I live (or try to anyway lol) a healthy lifestyle.
Hello New Housemate! I'm looking for accommodation in a calm, respectful, stable home! I'm 59, long term volunteer for charity. Would prefer to share with 1 other person only, own a chest of drawers, an 8 cube desk & 2 small bookcases. Would prefer my own bathroom. Would prefer to share with a person who is not an alcoholic or drinks heavily! (Where are all the people who only drink socially). Would prefer to share with a person who does not take drugs! Would prefer to share with a person who does not have to listen to super loud music, (as much as I love music, I do not like it loud) been there, done that! Would prefer to share with a person who will & can pay their own rent & bills, excluding the electricity which should be halved! I'm a clean, easy going, respectable, reliable person, respectful of others, their property & their belongings. I'm a friendly lady who is respectful of others personal space. I enjoy reading books, listening to music, movies, markets, photography, road trips & walking. I'm an outdoors only light cigarette smoker. Would like to share with someone willing to sign a rent assistance form. Hoping to hear from you soon as I want to move by 2nd February, 2017. Kind Regards, Marg
