Hi, I am Ankit, just moved to Sydney. I am a professional working in the CBD and am looking for room with an attached bathroom. I am a non-smoker. I am a friendly, sociable and have a been a good flat-mate in the past. I like traveling, yoga, reading, photography and gardening. In my free time, I like a good book and a glass of wine.
We are moving to Sydney from the UK for work purposes and sunshine. We have been together for 7 years and are very easy going. I work in Human Resources and David is an Accountant. We enjoy socialising and going out for drinks/meals. We also both really love travelling and can't wait to explore this part of the world. We are both linguists and studied Spanish and German at university. We would be happy to share with any young professionals.
Hey! I'm Lauren and I'll be returning to Sydney on October 1st having spent the past two years living & working in London & travelling Europe. I'm super easy to live with - very chilled out, clean, tidy and respectful of others privacy and space. I'm pretty quiet during the week and usually head to the gym, catch up with friends or chill at home. On weekends I'm often out & about - doing something fun, at the beach, seeing friends, etc. Keen to live with similar people, that I get along well with, rather than those who hibernate all the time. Ideally someone who is happy to have a glass of wine on occassion! I'll be returning to my job at Westpac, so everything is sorted with that. Cheers, Lauren x
Hello! My name is Jamilla, im 25 years old and I am currently working full-time as a traffic control. I am a laid back muso and like to be active throughout the week (gym or hiking etc). I am very respectful of privacy and space, but am happy to socialize and cook dinner for us sometimes as well if you want. I do enjoy an occasional drink, but love to hang out with my puppy Indiana bones :) she's the cutest dog ever and has such a sweet nature. I am all about open communication. I would prefer to live with someone who is similar and will not be passive aggressive, but open and honest about any issues there may be (everyone is different and has their own 'things'). Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks for your time. Have a great day! Jamilla
20 year old girl from Copenhagen, Denmark who is moving to Sydney on the 27th of September. Looking for a furnished room. I am very chill and openminded - love trying new things. In my free time listen to a lot of music and watch documentaries (i.e. a lot of reality shows). I am social, so living in a house where you spend time together would be great! I am clean myself but I do not mind if the dishes aren't done right after a meal or if it is a little bit messy. It is very important that the house is LGBT+ friendly and anti-oppressive, as I am queer. I don't know how long I will be staying in Sydney, but at least for 4 months. I have previously worked full time as a customer advisor until I decided to move to Sydney. I will work full time again when I am in Sydney.
I've grown up all around the world so I get along with most. I've just finished uni and will be working here for 1 year before I decide if I want to continue working in Sydney or move somewhere else in Australia. I work in Events so I'm busy 4pm onwards most days of the week including weekends with late finishes. I'm looking for somewhere quiet with a nice kitchen because I cook my meals at home.
Hey! I'm moving to Sydney the first week in November, originally from London, U.K. One of the main reasons I'm coming over is to explore Australia and see what it has to offer. I love trying new activities, photography, eating out, finding cool bars and keeping fit. Socialising with my house mates is somewhat important to me, but I totally love my own space and doing my own thing. I am a nurse for a living and will be working generally throughout the week. So a place with great transport links would be fab! I am looking for a clean, private, furnished room which is a must! If you have any questions about me please get in touch!
Hello, I have recently moved to Sydney for work and I am looking for accommodation. I am a laid back guy in my mid 20s that keeps fairly busy and am comfortable living with everyone. Hit me up if you think I would fit in with your house. Cheers,
Hello, Elexis here, middle eastern, 26 year old gender fluid/gay, transfer student. I will be finishing my Bachelor Degree at Central Queensland University (Sydney). I am looking for accommodation that is affordable, LGBT friendly, clean and close to the University. I am very fond of skincare, make-up, arts, fashion and writing. I'm not looking for a party place, just a place where I can have my own space with humble and chill people, but I do like going out for occasional drinks or clubbing when I'm in the mood. I need a cozy, clean and tidy place, preferably a one bed room studio apartment, but don't mind a shared flat with roommates in a cozy apartment. I am very down-to-earth, clean, social respectful and easy to talk to. And I love meeting new people. Regards, Elexis
Hi! I am a Graphic Designer currently working in Sydney and am currently looking for a place to live in the innerwest. I am easy going, sociable and reliable. I love travelling and I am always saving for my next trip. I don't mind watching netflix or a night out. Can cook and clean. I am looking for a house with other flatmates in their 20s, who are friendly and considerate.
Currently in Sydney at the moment and am needing a new place. I work full time as HR advisor and am usually pretty busy during the week. Love to exercise will be up and about most mornings doing f45 and play AFL as well. I love to socialise, am a big foodie and love to try out new places and will always find a excuse for a drink (love a drinking buddy). I am originally from Brisbane so do go back a couple of times to visit friends and family and am a massive fan of the beach.
Hi I am a single, clean, fairly quiet, Australian male. I currently work M-F around 9-5. I may be working evenings in the future if this is an issue (it shouldn't be as I'm very quiet coming/going) I also do a few hours a week work on my home PC in the evening/Saturday. I'm very considerate of people sleeping and looking for the same. I'm looking for peace, quiet and privacy. A quiet location not on or close to a major road or under a flightpath (sadly that rules out most of the inner west) The room needs to be large (3x3m at least) to fit queen bed, desk, TV unit and wardrobe if no BIR. I also need space somewhere for my own fridge/freezer unless yours is fairly empty. For housemates, I'm looking for Australians/UK/Canadian people (not other languages/cultures) aged around 25-40. I'm looking for people that are healthy, fit and regularly exercise. Also someone interested in and willing participant in at least 1 of the following: sci-fi tv/movies video games board games (short and fun not long and boring) hiking tennis/badminton/table tennis I would like 1-2 other housemates maximum with at least 1 other male. My budget is including bills and internet. I will consider more areas than I have listed
I'm a New Zealander in Sydney. I work in an IT company in the CBD. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 45 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the corner of Kent st and Erskine Street). Currently looking at somewhere off the train line on the north shore on a quiet street. So I can walk+bus to a train station and then catch a train to Wynyard. Personality wise, I am mature, sociable and very considerate (this is most important ) enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. My hobbies include: cooking, exercise, Japanese language and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening. Weekends I like to sit in the sun/go to a beach/meet friends/go to gym. I am not a party/noisy person and i don't want to live with people who are. My NUMBER ONE priority is a place to sleep that is QUIET. Not located near a noisy street/shop/neighbour and also internal quiet - living with people who also value quiet in the evening from 9:30pm onwards. I am quite sociable and would like to live with people who i can chat with but need quiet for rest/sleep. My office has showers so Monday to Friday I sometimes shower there before and after work which means no rush in the morning if we are sharing a bathroom. I also have meals with my job so don't really use the kitchen in the evening, however i sometimes do a cooked breakfast. Other notes. Do not intend on buying a car so parking space or garages are not necessary. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has a quiet room, laundry (washing machine + dryer/outside place to hang clothes) and good outdoor space, with professional people. Perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me. I can also provide a range of references in New Zealand.
I like keeping fit and healthy and being outdoors. I am friendly, sociable, polite, respectful and responsible. I'm currently working part-time and studying a bachelor of health science, so between those two things I am very busy and try and stay focused on my studies. However, I still like to have fun.
I'm very easy going, respectful, tidy and clean. I really like sharing time with others and going into new places. About me: I'm from Uruguay and I arrived into Sydney a month and a half ago with a working holiday visa. Right now I'm working a to Sydney Tower but I'm also looking for something else. I'm planning to stay in Sydney maybe 3 more months and the start traveling around Australia.
I'm a social person, fun to have around but also respect your space and my own quiet time at times. I'm in real estate so often out early and home late. I do enjoy a good wine from time to time and love a night out when I can. Looking for someone cool and genuine to live with. You can be a social butterfly or a bookworm, I don't mind either way, just as long as you are clean! :)
Im Vanessa, a 25 year old full time motion graphic artist/small business owner. I've just recently returned from a ski season in NZ and am looking for a long term house with like-minded house mates. Im fairly well house trained - can guarantee you'll never see my dishes in the sink! I'd love a household that is prone to an occasional house dinner or weekend drinks and has cultivated a nice family-like environment :) I'm active, enjoy day time adventures and am a massive yoga fiend!
My friend Faye and I are looking for a houseshare as we've just moved to Sydney and starting work next week. We will be working centrally, both from London and excited to meet some new people and make new lives in Sydney. Always up for a glass of wine to chat after work and go to the beach/have BBQs on the weekend. :)
