Am not fussy on move in date, but sooner rather than later. I’m very respectful when living with others. Having house-shared for 3 years, I am careful to clean up after myself and keep the noise level down for others. Although I’m going to be working, I do like clubbing and would be keen to move in with others who like to go out on the weekend.
My name is Laura, I am a 26yo vet nurse. I am not much of a party animal, super clean, friendly and of course I love animals. I just returned earlier this year after living in South Africa for 3 years. I also have my 2yo Wiemaraner joining me later this year. He is castrated, very well behaved and well socialised with all animals great and small (from little kittens to rhinos!).

Hi there! I'm a young girl originally from Tasmania who's been living in Sydney for almost over a year! I've spent the last few months studying and working in the fashion industry & have now moved into a full time position in a magazine! I grew up in a boarding house and have since lived in a number of share houses so know the importance of personal space although I also love a good chat and the occasional glass of wine in the evening! I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I'm Adam. What an arduous (check the vocab) process finding your new home and "to-be" flatmates is. So many variables to consider... location, price, compatibility, social influence. I guess that's not that many, really, but you know, you wanna get it right. I currently work as a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice. I become qualified this October and plan to move close to the city. I'm contemplating learning sales before I jump back into the electrical industry, if it all. Apprenticeships can be painful. I have a few months annual leave saved up giving me some time to check out the options once I've move in. Anyways. I despise the whole notion of job-as-identity. Let's get to the good stuff. I'm all about adventure. Some of my outdoor hobbies of have been surfing, skating, hiking and salsa. This year I want to start parkour, yes par-kour! I also love music and a good party. For me, partying should only be occasional. One of my biggest red flags for housemates is getting sucked into a wormhole of mindless weekly binge drinking. Don't get me wrong I'm down for a casual beer but I'm happy and prefer to go to gigs sober. On the flip side of all this I enjoy taking time out to focus, read, plan and ponder. I'm a big fan of health, fitness and self-development. My preference for housemates would be people who think the same about such things. I'm pretty easy going so it's not essential. Get in touch -Adam TLDR; I'm adventurous and introverted. I want to learn sales.
I am a 33 year old Chartered Accountant working for an IT company as Head of Finance. I have traveled extensively over the years visiting 28 countries to date. Photography and adventure sports are something I am dearly passionate about. Mountaineering, skiing, kayaking, hiking etc. are some of the things that I am always interested in. I was a home owner for 10 years so I know the essence of a clean and tidy home. I am respectful towards others, and happy to share household chores with people I am sharing. I am a very organised person both in personal and professional life and so would prefer a house that is clean and tidy. I can't call myself a cleanliness freak, but I do love to live in a clean environment. I am not a party animal. Looking for a place close to city.
Hi, my name is Will. I am a 27yo engineer who has been living in Sydney for a year after relocating from Melbourne. I am a friendly, clean, respectful housemate who is looking for a sharehouse with people of similar interests and social activities in close proximity to the CBD. I have a tendency to work pretty long hours however I am always up for a drink or a weekend activity. On the other hand I do thoroughly enjoy a TV binge session on the couch. I also love my AFL and am always on the lookout for another diehard fan. I am currently in a long term relationship however my partner will be remaining in Melbourne for this year at least. If you think I fit the bill please don't hesitate to contact me and we can arrange an inspection or have a chat. Looking to shift the weekend of the 28th October however would be happy to move earlier if a good fit pops up Cheers, Will
Hiya, I'm Meg. I'm 25 and work in the CBD area in IT. During the week I'll be at work either travelling interstate or in Sydney. I currently stay in St Leonards but my lease is up soon and would like to move into a new space. On the weekdays I like to go for walks/to the gym, watch the bachelorette (yes you read that right), attempt and fail at cooking then order in. On the weekend, I like to go on roadtrips, catch up with friends for dinner and drinks. I also brunch religiously. For ease of access to the CBD, I need to be close to a train station. Ideally looking for a room with ensuite but I'm also open to teamups and finding an apartment for lease if I can find a clean and tidy flatmate. I'm clean and tidy, I like to keep the apartment looking (and smelling) nice at all times.
Quiet and clean, good sense of humor just returned from a contract in Brisbane. Professional. Walk daily by the water and enjoy a glass of wine. Clean, quiet and respectful of others. I need to be able to park my car, street ok.
Hey potential new housie, I have lived in Sydney for 2 years and as much as I love the convenience and constant buzz of Surry Hills, I feel like it’s time to move closer to the water, even though I am sad to leave my awesome housemates. Originally from the UK, I am a 30 year old full time professional working in the CBD Monday – Friday. In the evenings I like to come home, relax, eat and some days have a glass of vino. Weekends are my time for doing any life admin that I may need to but also, exploring, hiking, beaching, sometimes going out and just generally catching up with my friends, I can sometimes be a home body and just chill too. I’m a gym goer in the mornings so usually wake up quite early so that I can go before work and try to lead a relatively healthy lifestyle. As a housemate, I am anally clean with the kitchen and bathroom and I am so tidy, I hate clutter so everything always has a place. I’m pretty easy going otherwise, I am a social butterfly and love to build a family vibe in the house, but I also really love my down time and respect anyone else’s too. I am happy to let anyone speak to my current housemates should you want the inside scoop. I like to cook, although I don’t cook every day but I do cook for my housemates from time to time, especially brunch on the weekends. I am a bit of a foodie, love trying new restaurants and new things, so if you are too this could be perfect. Let me know if there is anything else that you are curious about :) My move date is also flexible, so could be sooner or later than 11/11. I am also looking for long term stay :)
Hi! Irish girl and Kiwi boy, work full time during the week and like to relax at the weekend. We are very clean, respectful and chilled housemates. Looking to rent a room for a month between the end of our lease and going to NZ to visit family. On-site parking would be ideal but off-site parking is cool too.
Hey! I’m from London, I’ve moved to Sydney for the summer so will be looking to rent somewhere until the end of February. I work 9-5 in an office in north sydney. I’m an easy going, respectful, tidy, clean, flatmate. On week nights generally I like to keep it low key, maybe go for a run or to a yoga class or something then dinner, wine and a movie :) On the weekends I’ll be making the most of my time in beautiful Sydney and will be out sightseeing etc. If you think I sound like a good fit for your home please get in touch :)! Looking to move in ideally 21st October.
Hello! I'm Georgie - I'm 26, working full time in Sales in the CBD and have a slight animal obsession. I've been living out of home since I was 20 and I feel like I can actually call myself a somewhat responsible adult now. I've always been the once managing bills and rent payment so I'm ALWAYS on time and very reliable when it comes money. I'm super easy going and I like to think very easy to get along with. Happy to chill or go out, lie on the couch and watch netflix, or go for a bushwalk. I love to cook and it would be nice to be in a house where we can be friends as well as roommates. I'm not a party animal but would like to have my girlfriends over some nights. I'm not fussy about the room either but somewhere close to the backyard would be good. NOW FOR THE CLINCHER - My two beautiful dogs would be coming with me. They are large, mixed breeds - 3 and 2 years old. They are very bonded so I've never had issues with destructive behavior as they usually just harass each other. They are dog + cat friendly; my 3 year old actually helped nurse an abandoned kitten back to health (long story). I am happy for them to live outside - but shelter from the elements is a must. Given I work full time, it would be cool to live with someone with a flexible work scehdule that loves dog - they are very people oriented. If you think you've got a place in your home and backyard for us - get in touch :) George
Hello. Nice to meet you. Me and my best friend are currently looking for a place to call 'home away from home'. I'm 26 originally from Bangkok and my friend is 27 from Japan. Hey! My names Katie, I'm 24, work in healthcare and am going to be studying Nursing part time in 2018. I'm looking to relocate to somewhere on the Northern beaches in late November/Early December as my current housemates are moving up the coast. I'd like to live with social housemates but I like my own space as well and I'm a pretty quiet and respectful person. I have a cat named Charlie (the cuddly kind of cat not the cranky kind) - I'd hate to give him up so I'd love to find some people that would be happy to have him in their home. He's used to dogs and cats, he's toilet trained and a bit of a ninja so you hardly ever know hes there.
