Hi, I'm Josie, I'm a backpacker from the UK here on a working holiday Visa and looking to stay in Melbourne for the next 6 months to a year. I'm a quiet but friendly person, I am tidy and clean, and reliable. I like cooking and listening to music (on headphones) and watching too much Netflix.
Hey potential housemates, My name is Claudia and I am 19 years old and about to commence my second year of Law at Monash University. I am from country Victoria and am looking for a place to live whilst studying and working part time. I am quite relaxed and easy going but also love to go out and have heaps of fun. I am looking for a roommate(s) who are social and would enjoy going out together but also can respect my need to study at times. I have spent most of my teenage years at boarding school and on campus at university so I am very used to living with people and enjoy it very much
Hi there, I'm currently building my private practice in Fortitude Valley as a registered counsellor. I've lived in shared housing since I was 19 so I'm okay with taking care after myself and doing what needs to be done for the house to run smoothly. Basically looking for a home in nearby suburbs close to direct train or bus routes. I'm very much a quiet homebody, content at working on my goals and keeping to myself. I don't drink alcohol, smoke, go clubbing or to church, and try my best to follow a vegan lifestyle. I'd say I'm a frugal health nut but in saying that I respect how other people choose to live as long as they show the same. Generally I'm up early around 6 am and head to bed at 10 pm. When I do make the time to watch TV I like shows such as House, Vikings, True detective and South park. In my other free time I like to exercise, research and enjoy some peace. Looking for other mature and respectful people to live with.
Hello. I'm James. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane starting around March 1st (though if I found the perfect place I could possibly arrive sooner.) I am transferring at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I've had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
Hello i am Hesam, 28 yr old and i will start my PhD at UQ this Feb. i am looking for a furnished room for 4 months, and possibly for a few years. i have been living in shared places for a few yrs and i consider myself a tidy and respectful person. most of the time i am in uni and very busy with my research. please let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
Hey chaps, here’s a bit about myself so you know what you’re getting into... I spend most of my days at UQ studying environmental management. Outside of that I’m pretty social/active, spending most of my time with friends, cooking or keeping fit(ish). Love to have a chat with whoever’s around at the end of the day and normally keen for activities. Plus I’m clean 👍🏽 I’m currently in Melbourne for the summer doing an internship with a city council in their sustainability department. I fly back to brissy late jan so inspecting the house before I move in may be a tad tricky. My lease runs out on the 31st of Jan so I’d be looking to move in before/on the 31st. I could stretch out my moving date till early feb for the right place. Cheers!
29 year old professional, working full time in insurance. I'm an Adelaide boy originally, been living in Sydney for a couple of years and moving to Melbourne for work in the 1st week of Feb 2018 :) I like to keep things pretty low key during the week. Will usually gym after work, dinner and chill from there. Weekends I like getting out and about. Love most sports (AFL my favourite). I like a drink or 2 with good company but by no means a wild party goer. I've lived in share houses before and know how to clean up after myself.
Super friendly and really clean but I mostly like to keep to myself, I work part time at an Italian restaurant so I can get us cheap pizza! I just moved to Brisbane so I'd love for someone to show me around.
Hi! I'm Eddie, looking for a new place close to UQ. I study architecture and write music for classical ensembles. I'm tidy, easy going and fairly quiet.
Hey! Looking for a place asap furnished and modern as I'll have all my house belongings in storage. Something with a spa and gym would be good but not to picky. Move out date is whenever. Looking for a short stay 4-5 weeks at this stage may stay long term. Thanks..
I'm a transgender guy looking a place close to South Bank since I study there, I also have some pet rats but they are very clean and have a very good cage. I'm very friendly and sociable but respect peoples space, tidy, quirky and I have never payed rent or bills late in all my previous houses I lived at. give me a message if you are interested :)
19. Third year Environmental Science at UQ. Just looking for a roommate who will hang shit on the Bachelor with me. Up to date on cricket memes. Work at bunnings, so you know, snags. Looking to move anytime in the next few weeks.
Hi there! I've always lived with housemates (except when travelling, then I couchsurf, which is pretty much the same;-) and always loved it! About me: I love nature, healthy living, I work a lot and I have fun a lot, I like trying new things (now learning surfing, skate boarding, piano), I love dancing and music, I love singing but only when no one is listening, I love drawing, meeting new people, having friends over, but I also love sleeping so I'm not someone who has drinks every night, like quiet nights, talk a bit, play a game, cook together, go to bed not too late and sometimes drinks in the weekend (ofc if you wanna drink more go for it :p) I'm easy going, I can live with anyone except for smokers ;-)
We're 3 sisters relocating to Melbourne to be closer to relatives. We are students and young mental health professional. We are looking for a property close to the CBD. We are only looking for a whole property for the 3 of us and not looking to share it with others, thank you.
Hi, My names Kristen. I'm a qualified teacher who is returning to university to do some further study. I'm a clean, reliable and friendly person who is looking for a calm yet sociable home to live in whilst learning. I would love to be in a house where housemates like to spend sometime together, maybe a movie, a meal or even a sneaky glass of wine on occassion but are happy to give each other space if needed. I'm open to students, and proffessionals of any gender. In regards to housing, I'm open to a range of housing options, from moving into a previously settled share houses or getting together with 1 or 2 people and renting out a property. I would predominatley like to be within 20 minutes of Nathan University Campus but I can be flexible. A main proriety of mine is to find a place suitable for my 2 short hair cats so I am interested in living with animal lovers. But dont worry, I am very effiecent in the care and cleaniless of my animals and would not expect any commitment from housemates to look after them. As the uni tri- semester is starting in Feburary, I'm looking to move as soon as possible. I have acess to a fridge and washing machine, Tv and bookcases and would love to share. If you would be interested in living with me or simply have some questions, please feel free to send me a message. Be well and happy Kristen
