Professional working full time on James St in the Valley. I'm social and easy going. Love to go out for a few drinks but also enjoying staying in and binge watching TV. I also like going for hikes, brunching, friends TV show and Harry Potter. I'll be going back and forth between Newcastle [about one week every month].
love some quite time but also always keen for a glass of red. Would love to find a place where I get along well with my housemates and can enjoy a glass or 2 of wine and nice chat in the living room. But I also enjoy time to myself and my own space when I need it. Dancer and a love for fitness and outdoors.
Hey there, I'm Syaz! Im friendly, easy going, and happy-go-lucky. I'm a very open and honest guy so tell me anything and i'll tell you everything (haha be careful). I love to cook especially chicken and rice (thats my specialty), and I don't like cooking just for myself so if you wanna do some you cook today i cook tomorrow thing, i'm down. I love music, films, and alcohol. Love chilling out at home but never averse to a party. I am working full time with odd hour shifts so if that doesn't bother you, we're good :) I need to live really close to a train station because i work in Ipswich.
Hey I'm Dan, I'm looking for a team up for somewhere on the north side, close to the valley area. I work night shift at the airport so i pretty much sleep most of the day except when im at uni. I'm fairly tidy and tend to keep to myself and stay at home during the week but i love to go out and party on the weekends. I'm flexible on the move date and length of stay. Looking for other young people keen to live around the same north side area who don't mind a bit of partying on the weekends.
Hey, I'm a PhD candidate and also work at Griffith University, Nathan. I'm now 28, originally from Malaysia, but in the past 5-6 years I've lived and worked in Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, and have been in Brisbane since July 2016. I'm generally quite a reserved, easy-going person but am always open for a good chat. I spend a lot of time hidden away doing research, but when I do have the time, my hobbies are music (I play acoustic guitar and sing), fitness (I run, hike, do a bit of boxing, and am looking to get into yoga, surfing), writing (I blog, and used to be a freelance copywriter), and just exploring really (travel, good food, and gigs!). I don't smoke (vape now and then), and I don't drink. My ideal house would be one with fairly sociable housemates around my age range, who are also professionals/students. If you're post-grads as well that'd be beyond perfect, but not a necessity. I am definitely not looking for a party house. I clean up after myself and am very responsible. I hate clutter so ideally my housemates are the same. I currently live with an unemployed 40 year old alcoholic and am looking to break out of this toxic mould. I'm not too much in a rush to move, looking at late July/early August. I love West End, so I'm hoping to continue living here. If it matters, I own a car. I own all the furniture currently in my room, so an unfurnished room is fine with me.
I am a 28-yo full-time PhD student at UQ. I am very easy-going, like to keep my place clean and neat, especially bathroom and kitchen. I don't mind to have a nice dinner and chat, but also respect privacy. Since I am entering my last year of PhD candidature, I will be very busy at the uni. I need a peacful place to come back after a full-on day and just relax. I spend my weekends very differently: sometimes I can just chill at home if I had a difficult week, but usually prefer to be more outdoor. I am trying to maintain pretty healthy lifestyle. I love running, practising yoga, doing some gym as well, and cycling to the Uni and back every weekday. I am not a smoker, but in general I can live with people who are, but not smoking indoor of course. I am looking for an unfurnished room in a shared house. It should be within the budget I specified. Shoot me a message, if there is a room in your shared house available! And we will dance from that:) Cheers!
I'm very responsible, and will clean up after myself. With my long working hours, I'm not always home but when I am, I like to relax, cook and watch movies. I'm not a huge drinker but I like an occasional wine accompanied with a good chat. :)
We're neat , tidy ,calm and friendly couple(originally from Iran).I'm an architect and now study project management in QUT and Masoud (my husband) is professional .I spend more time in university and library and clean environment is very important for us .we're keen on living friendly and respectful environment.
My name is Thiago Martins and I'm living in Spring Hill since the 24th of June. I'm be looking for a part-time job and a new place to rent from July 21st. I'm looking for somewhere close to the city. I'm an outgoing guy with no problem socializing. I'm also a very organized and clean person. I'll be glad to go out for a beer with my flatmates sometimes but I'm looking for a quiet place to relax and study, not a party house.
G'day I'm 24 years old, work full time as an electrician around Brisbane, I also train most week nights and saturdays so I'm not home much at all. I try to live an active and healthy lifestyle, while also sneaking in some beers or a glass of red on occasion. I clean up after myself and pull my weight around the house and have been flat sharing for quite a while now. would ideally like to live with similar minded, motivated and friendly housemates who like to keep a fairly clean house. People who are up for a chat or a beer or the odd beach trip. I will be in Bali from July 14th till August 6th. So I could either give 2 weeks notice and move out before my trip, or organise something to be lined up when i get back as i need to be out by the following weekend. I'd prefer getting it sorted before the 14th though. feel free to hit me up if you'd like to have a chat cheers!
Hi all, I'm an outgoing and tidy person and while I am content on my own (relaxing in my room watching a movie/doco, reading, gaming) I prefer to be part of a household with other clean and outgoing people where a conversion can spark up. I enjoy dining out, cooking and relaxing with a drink and nibblies. I work full-time for Suncorp Bank in the CBD (7 years), non smoker, been renting since high school, like pets, no allergies, happy to help with chores/maintenance. If you're interested in a team-up let me know. Always up for a catch-up to discuss things and go from there.
Hello I'm from Colorado here on a working holiday visa currently working full time around Brisbane. I'm respectful, clean up after my self and enjoy helping when possible. I generally keep to my self, but not a hermit. Enjoy intelligent conversation and and bit of adventure! I can also take care of most handy man jobs as I've maintained a few properties back home. Ideally I would like to get back into climbing and find a place close the west end gym or KP cliffs would be awesome!!! I'm very easy going if you'd be willing to rent out the odd or awkward, extremely small room for $100/w or less I would totally be interested! Or even something for a few months while you're out vacationing. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns and let's make things work!
Hey peeps! I'm a super laid-back 23 year old creative entrepreneur and adventure enthusiast. Im really passionate about music, photography & film. I love good food, adventures, sports, travelling and fitness and much more... During the week I work hard and love to cook good home meals but by the weekend Im usually itching for a spontaneous rodtrip, a wander to the markets or a big night out on the town shaking a tail feather! Im very social but I also like my quiet time at home. I respect other peoples privacy and always pull my weight around the house. All in all I like to keep a good balanced and healthy lifestyle. I have grown up around the Byron Bay area and am currently looking for my next big move. If you think id fit into your humble abode please don't hesitate in contacting me. Hope to hear from you soon. Regards, Mitch.
I am a medical student and part time waiter. I love travel, food, wine and music to name a few big things. I'm hoping to get my dog up to Brisbane for a short stay (right now he lives with my parents), however this is non essential, as I'd rather find a nice place without pets, than a not-so nice place with pets. I'm a courteous and clean roommate. Always down for a chat or a shared meal.
I'm a full-time motion designer/editor from Sydney - I love my work I play a bit of guitar, and like to drink. I love cooking (but I clean up just fine). If you're nice to me, I'll let you in on my big cookups. I also game (computer and tabletop) I cycle to work and have an off and on gym routine (doesn't everyone). Looking forward to meeting you!
Hey guys I'm a really quiet tidy and organized person. I'm working full time at Aria Restaurant in Eagle st. Very respectful of privacy and personal spaces, I enjoy a good meal and a glass of red wine in good company or a cold beer and a chat at anytime. I love to cook and try new recipes, and I LOVE to eat. I do anything possible to keep me in shape like running, MTB, gym, wakeboard and sports in general. When at home I spend most of the time reading/studying or working at pc. I've got a new MTB and I'm going to buy a car soon.
Getting to Brisbane in July for my masters at QUT. Tidy and respect others space. love spending time outdoors and playing cricket. love cooking, you guys can expect some amazing recipes from Bengaluru, India :D. Easy going, will get along with most of th e peeps.
A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I consider myself a kitchen ghost. Meaning, if I do things right, you won't even know I've been there. I like to clean as I go, and anything I leave out will be gone as soon as I'm finished with it. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. He also has a big ol' desk attached to him, so I always worry that it won't fit in places. Looking to move as soon as possible, but the real final day I have is 18th of July before my current lease ends, which is convenient for this site's whole '30 day plan', so if you're in no hurry, I'm not really in a huge one either, although I do like jumping on things sooner rather than later. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a super good day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.
Hello there! I'm Karmen, a 25 year old Student/Interior Designer and I need a place to live. I'm a tidy, relaxed, down to earth individual who keeps it pretty chill during the week, and enjoys socialising on the weekends, going to gigs, markets, exhibitions and other events. I'm looking for a home with good vibes and like-minded individuals (future friends) who enjoy being social but also give each other space when needed. Can you house me?! :)
