I currently live in Port Macquarie 2 hours north of newy and am relocating to find work as a beauty therapist and for uni to start in July. Looking for a place early April though my move in date is flexible. I’m friendly and pretty laid back. I work hard but when not at work I’m generally at the beach, gym or relaxing at home. I also enjoy occasional drinks and a night out but am respectful and won’t bring the party home.
20 yo. ~ part-time uni student ~ casual waitress/barista Looking for a homey feel and kind people. I’m no partier but always love a good time, and up for a night out on the occasion. But yeh, definitely more refined to the casual beers at home thing. Cheese platters are very good too. let me know if you’re interested, would love to hear from you.
Hello! I am an extremely tidy, easy going, friendly individual seeking for a accommodation in the surrounding Newcastle area. I have attained an Administration position in the city and am looking for accomodation not too far from it. I have recently moved to Newcastle and live in Lambton but am wanting to move to the closer to the city to be closer to work. I love socialising, the beach and hanging with family and friends. Always up for an adventure, good food and drinks and meeting new people! Also enjoy my downtime and just chilling out. Please free feel to message me if you have any rooms available :)
hey! Im Brigitte Michel and I’m tidy, friendly, fun, easy going, healthy, ecoconscious, respectful and I don’t bring the party home. I’m 21 and am starting uni mid sem, doing a commerce degree. I’m pretty easy to live with! I’ve been living in Canada in share houses for the last 3 years and haven’t had a problem, if there’s ever an issue we get it sorted without causing drama :) I’m from Gunnedah and am aiming to move down to newy by beginning of April. Looking to be near the uon city precinct and the beach, and my job, also on king st. I like to be with friends in my free time, going swimming, hiking, to gigs or generally relaxing, I like cooking more than take out, and I like to keep my space looking good. I was a skier and You would usually find me skateboarding, and most fun things physical but I broke my knee cap skiing about a year ago and am just a watcher for now. But that’s me! And I need a room! Pick me! Cooks Hill is a big preference.
Hey there I'm Quinn :) I'm 25 and working full time in health. I've just moved over from Adelaide so I'm looking for a fun and friendly place to call home. I'm easy going, sociable and appreciate a good laugh. I've lived in shared accomodation for the past 5 years with some really cool people so I'm properly used to sharehouse etiquette and am very respectful of personal space. I’m no party animal but I enjoy going out for a drink or two over the weekend and am equally happy to chill out in front of the TV or with a good book. I like to keep active by going for a run or the gym or basically anything outdoors. If you think we'd get along, feel free to swing me a message.
Hi! I'm a full time art student - starting degree in Natural History Illustration this year at UON.. and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. not a big party person, being 30(ish) i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. Although I don’t really know anyone up here yet, so friendly roomies willing to go on walking/driving adventures with me and my camera would be wonderful. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
My name is Sarah, I currently live on campus at the University of Newcastle. I'm looking to move off with like minded people who preferably are vegetarian, enjoy yoga/exercise in general, hanging out together and occasionally going out over the weekend. Am really interested in teaming up with a maximum of 4 people, and getting a nice place together! I look forward to hearing from you 😊
Hey future flatmates Im 32 I am easygoing, always clean and tidy. I do my own thing mostly but still like to hang out and have a drink and a chat. Looking for a new place as current house is being sold.
I’m 21years old and my partner Dylan is 26, we are both currently employed full time and looking for somewhere to live in Newcastle as We are transitioning up from the central coast. We are friendly and outgoing but at the same time enjoy our personal space. We are well presented and clean, Niether of us have any pets and We generally spend our days at work or out and about going for dinners and seeing our friends , so majority of our time spent at the house would be in the evenings. Our preference is to share with another couple but would consider any reasonabl offer in saying that so if this add sounds like it could work for you then feel free to message us or contact us for any further information. We Look forward to hearing from you! ☺️
I'm a full-time Master of Clinical Psychology student. I am currently looking for 6 months+ accommodation around the Newcastle area. I am friendly, clean, organised, enjoy the beach, outdoors and fitness, and don't mind a cheeky wine in the evenings! Not keen on moving into a party house, but do enjoy socialising on the weekend. Cheers!
I've just moved to area from the UK so I'm keen to socialise, make new friends, make the most of everything Newcastle has to offer. I'm a shift worker so while I enjoy a couple of drinks I'm not looking for anywhere that's a party flat. I'm easy going and used to living with flat mates so I'm clean and tidy and get on easily with everyone.
Clean and tidy. Happy to socialise with housemates but also respectful of others space and privacy. Happy to cook for my house fam occasionally if you may be so inclined, but also fine to keep this separate. I have full time employment and work tradie hours. Chilled and easy going girl looking for like minded housemates. Into music, film, art. I do have an intensely friendly Siamese cat who is very cute but quite strange. That’s my only catch and the only thing that doesn’t make me a absolutely perfect housemate ✌🏻
Ah where to start I’m an electrician who has just decided to come home to Newcastle after a 5 year stint of FIFO work and doing some travelling in betweeen. My hobbies are surfing, cooking and drinking craft beer but in no particular order. Oh with some Netflix and reality Tv thrown in as well. p.s I’m well housebroken I came from a family home where mum taught us to be self sufficient. Any questions please don’t hesitate to call..
Hello! We're a working couple looking for a room in Newcastle that we can make our home. We're both super social, easy going and active. Some things we like to get up to that keep us sane include surfing, exploring, playing/listening to music, cooking, nerding out about films, and hitting up great food and bar spots. We're tidy and are looking for a place where our housemates are too after past years of student halls and share houses which were great aside from the mess! If you feel like we would get along and make good roomies then feel free to send us a message. The closer to the beach the more bonus points! Alexandra and Johan
Hi, I'm Diane and working full time in Hospitality. I enjoy going to the beach or do an outdoor activities if I'm not working. I love camping too! I'm so easy to get a long with, I know how to respect someone's privacy but always keen for a chat and laugh over nibbles and wine. Very sociable and polite, and pretty cool to jive with any ages and gender. I'm also keen for team up with maximum 4 tenants, male/female. Looking for a long term occupancy.
Hey guys and gals, I'm a 23-year-old graphic designer who's looking to move to Newcastle for a job in mid-late August. I'm moving from Melbourne because it's bloody cold here in winter and having grown up around the coastal areas of Kangaroo Island and Adelaide, I miss being near the beach. I like to keep busy doing fun things i.e. cooking, surfing, skating, exploring on the weekends and having a yarn over a few drinks. I'm easygoing, clean and tidy and would like to live with people who are too :) At the moment I live with an advertising creative, a nurse and an occupational therapist (all guys), so I'm used to a household with varying schedules. I currently work at a nursery (of the horticulture variety) as well as working a design job, and would love a bit of a backyard to garden/grow food, but am also happy to go without and just fill the house with my extensive plant collection. Happy to live with a fair range of age groups–most of my friends and my three housemates here are in their mid-late 20s or early 30s–in the Newcastle area. Ideally, I'd like to move into an existing house to make the move easier, and I've got no qualms about signing onto a lease if necessary. Would love to have a little Skype meet and greet if you think I sound like someone you'd be keen to have around (can provide endorsements from biased friends and current housemates). **I know it's quite early to be looking for a house but I'm coming up for a couple of days in late April to visit a potential workplace, so it would be a good chance to meet in person with potential housemates and see potential houses, too.**
I easy going, mature and respectful, don't let my age deter you, I'm young at heart. I'm well travelled and happy to talk about most things. I'm not looking for a party house, rather a tranquil place to return home to. I have a thirst for life and humanity, by that I mean, people matter! I happy to pitch in and do my share of household chores and up keep of the home. I'm comfortable with pets. You won't find a better chilled out room mate. I enjoy walks, deep conversations, music, culture, spirituality, sport, and more, however I do like my own space Off street parking for my motorcycle would be ideal, but not totally essential. I'm looking to move in at the end of June, but keen to secure somewhere as soon as possible, and happy to pay a larger bond, if necessary. I look forward to hearing from you, male or female. David
Heyy! Me and my buddy James are searching for a third housemate to team up with. We are both Environmental Science students at Newcastle University and work on a part time basis. We're both sociable and would prefer to live with someone who is keen to hangout. However, we also value personal space, especially as the Uni semester begins to pick up.
Hey my name is Michael Rippon I'm 25 years old i work as a barista/cook at west leagues club New Lambton, I have been working there for four years now. I'm very easy going and energetic and a real peoples person. I am one of six kids so I know how to live and get along with the people I live with. I play a bit of sport and attend the gym and pool on the regular, love being outdoors and am a real family person.
Another novocastrian returning after spending a few years in Sydney. Good at cleaning up after myself, always pay my rent on time, fairly quiet and easy going but always happy to have a chat over a beer or cuppa - gin and tonic is my weapon of choice. Not adverse to communal activities but don't mind flying solo. Bit of a nerd so you will most often find me gaming or reading in my spare time. I also have a small dog (jack russell - 12yo) Max who is also pretty chilled, rarely barks, is fully house trained and loves a snack, cuddle or wrestle. Financially, I am currently only doing irregular work for a friend until I can find something more suitable up here and get established but I receive benefits to assist and am eligible for rent assistance in the meantime. I usually work in retail alcohol both digital and brick & mortar stores or pouring beers. If you think I sound like a suitable candidate for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm also more than happy to provide references. Happy hunting!
Hi guys, my name's Daniel and over in Newcastle for a new job. I'm a pilot from Perth and am a really practical and down to Earth kind of guy. I love new experiences and lead an active lifestyle so enjoy getting out for a run, swim, hike/camp, travelling or sampling different local beers. I don't smoke and I won't be bringing any kids or pets and will gladly help out around the place and tend to be pretty clean myself. Just a heads up, there will be days where I will be up getting ready (as quietly as possible) for those early flights at about 4am or back about 10pm. I've been in Newy for about 2 months now and looking for something a bit more permanent. The ideal location would also have a supermarket, some cafes and maybe a pub/bar or two within walking distance but I am pretty easy. I prefer something on my own up to a share house with a maximum of 4 occupants and am pretty clean and very considerate myself. So if you happen to have a room with a bed and think I may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Cheers! Dan
