My name is Dinuk, I am 22 years old and I am from Melbourne, where I've lived my whole life up until now. I am to start my course in physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle as of February 26th. I am someone who is friendly and sociable but also someone who respects personal space and boundaries. I have previously lived in a shared accommodation in Melbourne so i know what it's like living with others in regards to hygiene and cleanliness. I can also be quiet diligent with studying so you may see notice that I might study till late. I very much love to cook, and would be happy to have cook ups or just spend time with others. I also like watching tv shows, reading, and going for walks and spending time with friends. I am also easy going and very approachable. I hope you may take this all into consideration, thanks.
My name is Gustavo. But friends call me JC. I'm originally from the west coast of the US, Portland Oregon. But I have been living in Australia for 5 years. Most of my time has been in Sydney. Sydney can have its ups and downs. But I was ready for a change! So I decided Newcastle was that good change! I just started my new job last week with Who Printing. It’s a great and stable job. So paying rent and bills on time is never a problem. I work 6am-230pm. With that early of a start time. I’m very chill during the week. I am very clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, social, outgoing, but also like my quiet days in. I like to surf, ride my motorcycle, snowboard, traveling, and of course catch a new gig. Always down to hear new music! Ideally, I am looking for a place to call home! Not just a place to rent. I am in Newcastle long term, so I would love to be friends with the people I live with. But still respect each others space. If you would like to know more? Feel free to write!
I’m a brekkie radio host so my alarm usually goes off around 4:15am but I truly value sleep, my own and others and for the last 2 years, have never woken a housemate leaving home. I love a chat, very easy going and love being outdoors but also very respectful of other people’s space and stuff and super tidy. I’m also pretty tight so don’t keep lights on or waste power etc. That probably makes me sound really uptight; I’m totally not I just don’t like spendig money unnecessarily. I’m totally fun I swear. Did I mention I was in radio?
Hello, I'm moving from Adelaide to Newcastle in mid-February to start a new job with the NSW state government, and I'm looking for somewhere to live! I've recently graduated from uni, have lived abroad (Cambodia and Japan); I enjoy hiking, exploring new cafes, and drinking nice beers. Not looking for a party house, but I'd definitely like to hang out sometimes. Don't hesitate to send me a message!
Hi, my name is Breanna. I'm 23 years of age and working part time. I am looking to move to Newcastle, currently living in the beautiful Southern Highlands ( country lifestyle ) I am looking to move for a change of scenery something more coastal. I am sociable I love meeting new people but I am respectful of others privacy and I am a respectful person overall. I am reliable, will always make sure my rent and bills are payed on time. I prefer a 6 month length of stay. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm quiet, easy-going, friendly always keep communal areas tidy (my bedroom though will generally be covered in books). Most nights I like to relax with a book or one of my favourite shows, but I also enjoy the odd night out (or in) for a meal and drinks. I spent the past four years living overseas, now that I'm back in Oz I've decided that Newcastle will be a great place to live and study. I'll be applying for the Navy sometime during the year, so I'm trying to get my fitness levels up and it would be great if I can live with someone who enjoys working out. I'm currently staying with family in Wagga, but will be up on the 18-19 of Jan if you have a room you'd like to show me.
Recently moved out of home and looking for a permenant place to move too for now. Full time employment and very friendly. Very clean and love hanging around with others- looking forward to finding flat mates. I don't smoke and have no pets
We are two independent girls who spend more time outdoors than at home. Very respectful, clean and quiet within houseshares. Lana works part time in Sydney and freelance designs in the other time at home. Jena works full time in Finance for an engineering firm in Newcastle. On weekends we jump in our van and go exploring the beaches of NSW for waves and hiking trails. We are looking for a clean, minimal, fresh house with some good humans.
Both easy going and social. Study full-time and work casually. Love the beach, going for coffee and don't mind a night out. Also couldn't figure out how to upload a photo of us without it zooming in on one of our heads haha
Hello! I am Marissa, or Missa for short. I currently study at Callaghan and I'm a car-loving gamer and book freak. I'm a clean freak and an introvert so no wild parties from me, but I don't mind to join in with others at times. I don't really drink much but I'm happy to have a glass at times and I like to have one or two friends visit. I study a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design, second year, and I love studying languages (currently in Japanese but also want to study Korean, too). My ideal locations are anywhere within a walk or bus ride from Callaghan campus excluding Jesmond. I prefer to keep costs to a minimum so my absolute maximum is $190/week including bills for the perfect place. If I had to say three main criteria for my perfect place it'd be safety, avoiding Jesmond and off street parking is a must (my car is my baby). Overall, I'm clean and quiet usually, and I both like to hang out with housemates as well as time out to myself. I think I'm fairly easygoing. :) - Marissa
I am a full-time medical student at Newcastle uni, looking for a furnished room (at least a bed and a desk) in a sharehouse, from late Feb-September. I am clean and tidy, and fairly self-sufficient. I'd like to live with fun, easygoing people, and be able to come home to a friendly environment :)
Hey! We are both currently studying to become teachers and both work part time/casual. We are into anything outdoors, beach, walks/adventures but are also happy to lounge around the house on the odd lazy/rainy day and play some board games or settle in for some A+ Netflix show with some drinks and snacks. Neat and tidy and respect others privacy as we do enjoy ours. We are keen to find someone/a couple to find a space with so send me a message if this sounds like it suits what you are after :).
Looking for something available from the end of January/ early Feb Willing to pay bit more for a room with ensuite. Ideally with 2 other roommates. Close to the beach and work. Currently working as an Enrolled Nurse permanent part time hours at Lingard Private hospital and commencing study February at UoN doing my bachelors in Nursing. I like living in a clean environment and respect peoples space and personal belongings, love socialising but also love my down time and space. I am wanting to explore more places and would love a roommate who is down for that during our spare time :) I work some night shifts and weekends so I’m not interested in a party house but happy to have chilled drinks or a night out when appropriate.
Relaxed, social young student/worker looking to move closer to town. Always down for a good chat, but also recognise the importance of alone time. Tidy, love to cook and have a conversation over a beer and family dinner.
Hi! ralph has recently moved from Australia from England. He is active and is currently doing a personal training course, hoping to find a job in that area. Georgie is from Tamworth and is new to the newcastle scene. She is also studying fitness before starting a degree at the city campus of Newcastle. We believe we are fun people, like to have a drink every now and then, and also we are mean cooks.
Quiet person non smoker, currently doing an internship in social media marketing. Love animals. Not much of a socialite but wouldn't mind sharing accommodation with a few nice people, good with computers and a little artsy when the itch strikes. Spend a majority of my free time online, mostly gaming, so good internet is a must personally and professionally. Enjoy FFXIV, Overwatch, Dip into WoW on occasion ( Both factions c: ) pubg, little bit of csgo. Great things we could enjoy/get mad at together as roomies, would love to meet someone irl with some shared interests in these. Don't own a car to hog your driveway space and clean up after myself. Don't mind if you're loud (had a roommate that practiced drums every week) or smoker of any kind. Looking to live anywhere in the Newcastle area and suburbs close to bus lines. Prefer bills included in rent, but fine if they aren't. I've got a flawless rental history (3 years) and never been behind on payment, can provide references on request.
Work as a medical device sales rep and do lots of work between Sydney and Newcastle. I do quite a bit of travel but when I'm home I love a bit of banter, a lot of laughs and some beers. I'm very tidy and respectful of peoples space. Can't offer much in the way of cooking skills but if you can cook, I'm happy to get behind it financially! Board game and pub trivia king. Workout most days. All of my (two) friends think I'm a bit of a laugh. Easy to live with.
We’re a couple from the uk looking for a flat for a couple of months to a year. We’re both chefs and are looking for flat mates that we can call friends. We are clean, easy going and fun people looking to call a house a home. We like to socialise and cook someone that would share a meal or a few drinks with us but will also respect our space like we would to you.
Hey there! I'm a 23 year old environmental science student looking for a quiet place to live for my final year of study. I've lived out of home (and in Newcastle) for 4 years and I'm house trained, clean and social. I am independent, respectful of others and maintain a busy schedule during the week. On the weekends I like to go out with friends to explore Newcastle's beaches and would love to be able to do this with housemates too. Ideally I would like to be living with no more than 2 others, as I've done the large share houses in the past and they're just not for me. I love to cook and garden (I do come with a few houseplants but they can definitely just be kept in my room) and during the week I'm kept busy with casual work and full time study. I'm also very open to setting up a new sharehouse as I've had my eye on the rental market for a little while and have access to household furniture if necessary, otherwise I can just bring along my bedroom furniture. Looking forward to hearing from you
I work most days at a boutique tea store and like to spend my free time gardening, listening to music, reading, and going to live music gigs. I have a diploma in interior design and I like to keep the house tidy and inviting. I'm keen to hang out and make friends and am also respectful of peoples personal space and property. Some of my favourite places around town are the Oriental Hotel, Lass O'Gowrie Hotel, Talulah Bar, Welsh Blacks and Suspension Espresso. I've been in Newcastle for 3 years and am looking for a comfy and relaxed new home after living in my current home for over a year. Don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested :)
