Looking for a place that feels like home. Friendly, outgoing and interested in making new friends, and exploring new places, at the same time prefer my own privacy. Clean, neat and tidy person and would like the house members to be respectful and clean up after use of the common facilities. Full-time student, therefore wouldn't prefer a party house.
After completing Year 12 in 2016, I spent 12 months for my gap year employed as a teachers aid at St Columba Anglican School in the Design and Technology department. I have also been working part time at Social Grounds Cafe as a Kitchen Hand for the past 3 years. I will be studying Architecture at Newcastle University and look forward to a very exciting relocation to Newcastle. I enjoy the outdoors, surfing, swimming and will miss very much my dog which I have cared for since a pup. I am a bit OCD and am proud to be organised and keep things tidy at all times. My family and friends describe me as a easy-going, friendly and respectful of looking after the place I call home.
Hi I’m Cameron. I work full time as a surveyor. In my spare time I love to surf, go for runs, and walk my Labrador Luna. Also I enjoy both watching and playing the cricket and rugby. I’m easy going, clean and respectful. Luna is well trained, doesn’t bark, and is well socialised with other dogs. She is not an indoor dog and respects peoples space. Looking for house mates with similar traits. Interested in a social house (sharing a beer together of a weekend), but also like to do own thing too.
My names Joanne and Im easy going and love to socialise but also depend of spending time alone drawing, writing and getting into my own spirituality. I like to keep organised so there’s no worry about cleanliness with me. I work part time in Kotara Westfield and recently moved up here from Sydney last September but had family issues and need a place to continue working :) Don’t hesitate to message me !
So unfortunately my landlord has decided to sell (living on Darby street and love it). So a little about myself. I'm accountant working full time for a firm in the CBD. Will be finishing my CA this year (two semesters). Before this I spent the last two years travelling Europe. And will be off again this year for four weeks to the Russia World Cup. If you enjoy travelling and/or the NRL we will most likely get along. Into my league and having a beer come Friday. Definitely not after a party house, but enjoy hanging out with the people I live with. I also have a bit of furniture from prior to going overseas - BBQ, TV, TV cabinet, lounges, outdoor setting, table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, mower, Xbox, Nintendo 64 etc. Which I will either bring or sell. Hope to hear from you soon!!
Hi I’m Zaelee, I’m hoping to find a place with a social vibe, not a full on party house although it wouldn’t hurt occasionally. I’ve been living out of home for a few years now and would like to think that I’m a rather tidy, respectful, super friendly and easy going housemate. I try to avoid being home as much as I can, I love to be out and about and find myself happiest living a busy lifestyle but I won’t turn down a quiet wine or two with some friends at home!
My name is Lauri and i'm in my last year of my dietetics degree at UON. Born and raised in Sydney suburbia, i'm a respectful, very clean and tidy, easy going person. I like getting up early in the mornings to exercise before work, then coming home to chill out with house mates before getting an early night. Looking for some like-minded people to live with. In my spare time I enjoy going for runs and walks in any nature-filled area, be it the beach, greenery or hiking up a mountain. I also enjoy going to the beach, movies, and hanging with friends I'm looking for 2.5 months of accomodation between March and May whilst I complete my last (full-time) placement of my degree. Looking forward to coming back to Newy!
I'm 23, I work in a cafe in Honeysuckle as an all-rounder & I love it there. :) I don't do the king street/nightclub scene, but I don't mind a social dinner & wine occasionally. I'm chilled & open minded, have recently moved down from Byron Bay & love the Newcastle mix of surf & city. I love the beach, keeping outdoors & active & am hoping to find some like minded people to move in with that I could possibly become friends with, I don't want to just brush shoulders in the hall. ☺️
I am a PhD student who loves cooking. I like to keep the place where I stay clean and tidy. I am a quiet person and like to be by myself but love socialising too. I would expect the house mates to keep the house clean and tidy and be quiet especially during night time.

Hey guys! I currently live in a share house in Belmont but am looking for somewhere a little closer to the beaches and town. I'm super easy to get along with! I'm very social, love going out and about with friends for lunches or some drinks on the weekend, but I also love my down time too.
Hey there! I'm a second year physiotherapy student looking to move closer to university. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, love sport, and keep good care of my personal belongings. I don't smoke or leave a mess, and always clean up after myself. I'm super easy going and spend the majority of my time studying, working, and playing sport.

I love going to the beach, adventuring and watching movies. I don't mind going out on weekends and having a few drinks. I coach gymnastics every afternoon and Saturday mornings

Hey guys I am looking for a new place to live from basically anytime soon, but do not need to rush out urgently. Bit about me... from Germany but moved around quite a bit, since half a year living in Newy. I am doing my PhD at the UoN, so am called a student but not really feeling like one - apart from being poor ;) thereofe i would prefer not living in a student accom as i basically work fulltime. Non-smoker, easy going, pretty tidy, love to head to the gym or lie around and and tan. Would love to live with not too many people who are easy going and up for a chat or drink sometimes. Love to be around people but also need me-time and just chill in my room with netflix. Hit me up if you feel like we could get along and you got a room to rent :)
I enjoy being sociable but also I enjoy my own space and free time
I recently moved out of home and currently looking for a permenant place to move too for now. I have a full time job and I am very friendly and easy to get along with. Im very clean and love hanging around with others as I prefer to just go along with the flow - looking forward to finding flat mates, don't hesitate to message me :)
My lifestyle generally consists of outdoor activities and living a no stress life. When not travelling to work across sydney, central coast and Newcastle i dance, @ gym, or @ beach. I study part time nutritional health science. I am cooking and preparing fresh food most days, so i would ideally like to move in2 a home with a garden. Looking for one other flatmate for teamup. Am fairly social and like being on my own. Clean, respectful, have furniture, few more things needed.
Hi, I'm Hannah, and I'm looking for somewhere to live while on placement in Gosford this February-March. I'm a 4th year speech pathology student at UON, so I'd also be happy to stay somewhere around Newcastle and would happily consider a longer-term stay (up to about 9 months-ish). I'm a quiet but friendly person who likes to focus hard on her studies and spends most of my free time reading and Netflixing. I'm definitely not looking for a party house, and don't really drink, but would happy to be a deso sometimes :) I'm pretty chill and easy to get along with, and would love to meet some new people although I also love my time to myself. I'm hoping to live with someone around my own age. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you think we'd get along :)
I'm a bartender, so I have decent banter, and a thick skin. Can cook a solid meal, but also know how to clean up after myself. I like the gym, my motorbike, netflix, wine and cheese. Situations like these I can be shy at first, but well, you will know when I'm out of my shell! P.S my profile picture I am blonde, although I have recently (this week) changed to a brunette!
G'day, my name is Jasper. I'm 22 getting closer to 23 quicker than I would like. I came over to Lake Maquarie nearly 5 months ago from Western Australia and have been living with a friend's family since then. I've been working full time since I got here and now I'm looking to get a bit closer to the City! I work long hours as a salesperson, and spend as much time as I can manage nose deep in a book or looking for a new place to go exploring (and cracking disputably funny dad jokes). I'm fairly fit and do my best to stay that way, but a cheeky beverage or two never goes astray. I'm an outgoing guy and easy to get along with. I've lived in share houses on the west coast, so I definitely understand how important personal space As fun as it is travelling around the countryside, Newcastle is definitely where I'm keen to live for a while with like minded people!
Hi! My name is Maddy, I'm 24 years old and I'm a full-time student at University of Newcastle, studying a Bachelor of Music/Arts. I'm originally from Sydney. I've been living in Newcastle for around a year now, but am looking for a new place to live. Besides studying, I am a professional singer and children's entertainer. I run my own kids party business and I also work as a singing teacher. I have a pet bird (budgie) who I'd love to take with me into my new home. He is quiet and clean, and I'd keep him in my bedroom. I'm a very tidy, easy going person. I'm fun and outgoing and like making new friends, I love yoga, going to gigs and the beach. Looking for non-smoker, female only housemates.
Hey there, my name is Ethan, me and my housemate Lucy are looking for a compatible roomate to get along with and help share the burden of rent. So i'll just say a little bit about us two and how we like to run our household and if it sounds appealing message us. Lucy came over here from Perth to play soccer professionally and she is one of the best things that will come into your life should you be lucky enough to have her. She is very relaxed, likes time to herself and keeps our apartment clean as fuck. She is very honest much like myself, which is great because problems we encounter together get solved quickly and without ill feelings, which means for you, you can address your opinion or concern without either of us scolding you, its vice versa. She is respectful and very caring though, being so far away from home I am her brother, and as a result anyone else she will share a house with will most likely become family too. She would love a chill person who will get along with our humour and style, and you can expect all of these qualities I've described her with in return. There's not much to say about myself, but i'll try pretend that i'm a someone. I've been told I am quite feminine for a straight dude many many times, I don’t know what that adds but there you go... I guess im usually the louder one in the house, as I am very social and like to catch up with friends and have a few drinks every weekend. I have a quiet side though and do like to laze around in the house playing games and watching movies. I am very understanding and id like to say I don’t have a malicious bone in my body. I love to relax and keep the house on a level where judgement is at a 0, I don’t walk around the house naked but that’s about the level I strive to make it, where you can if you really want to. I do not judge people at all beyond my humour, you can be who you want however you desire in your own damn house, as that is how it should be in a healthy loving home. If you moved in with us you would be a part of our lives, no one wants to live with a stranger, obviously you will have your own life without disturbance but I would like a person that adds to the feeling of a home, as I haven't had that in a very long time. Here are some good things about living with us overall. This Christmas will be lit as fuck, as I have thousands of dollars worth of Christmas lights, I love Christmas, yes im aware its February but im still excited … Most if not all of the essentials we already posses, as me and Lucy have lived out of home for quite some time so you should only need to bring your room with you, but if you want to create character you can help decorate the house too, you can bring your friends over if you get lonely whenever, family can visit, you can warm the bed if you feel you need to some nights, whatever you do in your room, as long as it is legal and respectful we will never hold you against, we are only 18 and 19, and as childish as I am, I know its time to be adults now, and being an adult means you can be your own. For as long as you live with us, you will have your own slice of life, with us both backing you up and staying loyal beyond your choices and paths. We both pull our own weight with chores, rent and bills. Our lease in this apartment ends March 8, and then we will be moving to a 3 bedroom house within the affordable areas of 400-450 a week rent. If this screams you, please contact me and we can organise an interview where you can inspect how we live, and we can see how you are in person. Thanks
