Hi guys, I'm Chris a 30 yr old FIFO worker, I work a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster so I'll only ever be home half the time. In my time off I like to relax by the beach/pool with a quiet beer or get out and do a little travelling. I'm not a clean freak but I like to have things tidy and respectable. I'm currently living on the Sunshine Coast where I own my own unit but I will be putting it back as a holiday rental at the end of November so decided I'd come down to the Newcastle for a bit of a change. Im looking to move into a fairly social house where we can all get along but still respect each others space. My best contact is either email or text message as I don't always have phone reception while at work. Look forward to hearing from you and seeing what's about. Cheers Chris
I am a 22-year-old uni student, looking to team up with a couple of people or find a room in a house in Newcastle. I have just finished my first year of Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and also work casually as a disability support worker. I only work day shifts so am usually at home of a night. I enjoy socialising with other housemates but also like time to myself. On weekends I like to go to the beach, catch up with friends, go for day trips to new places and occasionally have a few mates over for drinks and a platter before going out. I do have a 1-year-old kitten Nala, she is timid at first but once she gets to know you she is super loving, friendly and playful. I am currently keeping her as an indoor cat but at the right property, I would like to let her be able to go outside if she wants. She is house trained so won't claw at furniture and uses a litter tray. I have lived out of home for 2 years, however, wasn't officially on a lease so don't have a rental record. I am a very tidy person who will sometimes be up for a chat, dinner together and some drinks but also love time to myself and respect that of others. If you're interested then I'd love to meet up for a chat and a coffee!
G'day! Easy-going, quiet, respectful of others, clean and tidy, don't drink (don't mind if you do) or smoke (yuck), and always happy to help out around the house. I enjoy a chat, especially when the topic is about travel. I work full-time, so you don't need to worry about whether or not I'll pay my rent on time. I look forward to meeting you. Cam
Hi there. Currently and for the last couple of years, I rent on my own after many years of share housing. However, for financial reasons, I'm considering looking to 'team up' on a new rental property preferably (mainly seeing as I've got a house worth of furnishings). I'm not in a desperate hurry to move and would only look to do so with the right housemate basically. About me; I work full time, play sport a couple of times a week, non-party animal, enjoy reading, listening to music and the beach in summer. I've been living in Newcastle just over five years now and don't mind playing tour guide if you're new to the city! Around the house, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful. I enjoy good company and conversation, but also enjoy a bit of quiet time too. Weekends are pretty quiet and laid back but in saying that, I like to get out of the house (not a lounge lizard). An ideal housemate would fit into similar criteria hopefully or at least think this sounds a bit like them. Similar age bracket too would be good. Let me know if that's you.
Good day! I am a brazilian moving to Newcastle to start a PhD program at UON. I am very friendly and social. I enjoy hanging out with friends, but also love to spend some time at home watching Netflix or cooking. I am a clean and tidy person who respects others privacy and space since I like to be respected too. Looking forward to share a house with friendly people.
Relaxed, social uni student and worker looking to move closer to the city. Pretty tidy and love to cook and have a good chat over a few beers. Would love to live in a pretty social household, but I also recognise the importance of alone time and personal space. Keen to share some family dinners and a few drinks with some good people. Shoot me a message if you’re interested in teaming up!
Hi! I'm David, a recent law graduate who will be relocating and working full-time in Newcastle. I am a tidy, relaxed and chill, respectful and clean housemate who is always punctual with payments and on top of administrative matters. I'm keen on meeting like-minded people who are easy-going and always up for some bevvies and banter! Looking to stay min 6 months at a place and flexible with move-in date, but needs to be before mid-Feb.
I work full time as a retail manager. I love to have a chat and go out to dinner. I am neat and tidy and understand the need for personal space. I have a 6 year old Labrador retriever so would need a pet friendly house with a yard or to start a new house. My roster varies but I am normally out of the house by 7-730 but will be super quiet as not everyone is a morning person like me 😜
Hi, I am a 23 yo engineering student in my final year of uni, looking for a tidy house with social house mates. I enjoy socialising and having a drink or 2 on the weekends. I am clean, tidy and can respect others living arrangements.
My name is Dinuk, I am 22 years old and I am from Melbourne, where I've lived my whole life up until now. I am to start my course in physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle as of February 26th. I am someone who is friendly and sociable but also someone who respects personal space and boundaries. I have previously lived in a shared accommodation in Melbourne so i know what it's like living with others in regards to hygiene and cleanliness. I can also be quiet diligent with studying so you may see notice that I might study till late. I very much love to cook, and would be happy to have cook ups or just spend time with others. I also like watching tv shows, reading, and going for walks and spending time with friends. I am also easy going and very approachable. I hope you may take this all into consideration, thanks.
My name is Gustavo. But friends call me JC. I'm originally from the west coast of the US, Portland Oregon. But I have been living in Australia for 5 years. Most of my time has been in Sydney. Sydney can have its ups and downs. But I was ready for a change! So I decided Newcastle was that good change! I just started my new job last week with Who Printing. It’s a great and stable job. So paying rent and bills on time is never a problem. I work 6am-230pm. With that early of a start time. I’m very chill during the week. I am very clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, social, outgoing, but also like my quiet days in. I like to surf, ride my motorcycle, snowboard, traveling, and of course catch a new gig. Always down to hear new music! Ideally, I am looking for a place to call home! Not just a place to rent. I am in Newcastle long term, so I would love to be friends with the people I live with. But still respect each others space. If you would like to know more? Feel free to write!
I’m a brekkie radio host so my alarm usually goes off around 4:15am but I truly value sleep, my own and others and for the last 2 years, have never woken a housemate leaving home. I love a chat, very easy going and love being outdoors but also very respectful of other people’s space and stuff and super tidy. I’m also pretty tight so don’t keep lights on or waste power etc. That probably makes me sound really uptight; I’m totally not I just don’t like spendig money unnecessarily. I’m totally fun I swear. Did I mention I was in radio?
Hello, I'm moving from Adelaide to Newcastle in mid-February to start a new job with the NSW state government, and I'm looking for somewhere to live! I've recently graduated from uni, have lived abroad (Cambodia and Japan); I enjoy hiking, exploring new cafes, and drinking nice beers. Not looking for a party house, but I'd definitely like to hang out sometimes. Don't hesitate to send me a message!
Hi, my name is Breanna. I'm 23 years of age and working part time. I am looking to move to Newcastle, currently living in the beautiful Southern Highlands ( country lifestyle ) I am looking to move for a change of scenery something more coastal. I am sociable I love meeting new people but I am respectful of others privacy and I am a respectful person overall. I am reliable, will always make sure my rent and bills are payed on time. I prefer a 6 month length of stay. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm quiet, easy-going, friendly always keep communal areas tidy (my bedroom though will generally be covered in books). Most nights I like to relax with a book or one of my favourite shows, but I also enjoy the odd night out (or in) for a meal and drinks. I spent the past four years living overseas, now that I'm back in Oz I've decided that Newcastle will be a great place to live and study. I'll be applying for the Navy sometime during the year, so I'm trying to get my fitness levels up and it would be great if I can live with someone who enjoys working out. I'm currently staying with family in Wagga, but will be up on the 18-19 of Jan if you have a room you'd like to show me.
Recently moved out of home and looking for a permenant place to move too for now. Full time employment and very friendly. Very clean and love hanging around with others- looking forward to finding flat mates. I don't smoke and have no pets
We are two independent girls who spend more time outdoors than at home. Very respectful, clean and quiet within houseshares. Lana works part time in Sydney and freelance designs in the other time at home. Jena works full time in Finance for an engineering firm in Newcastle. On weekends we jump in our van and go exploring the beaches of NSW for waves and hiking trails. We are looking for a clean, minimal, fresh house with some good humans.
Both easy going and social. Study full-time and work casually. Love the beach, going for coffee and don't mind a night out. Also couldn't figure out how to upload a photo of us without it zooming in on one of our heads haha
Hello! I am Marissa, or Missa for short. I currently study at Callaghan and I'm a car-loving gamer and book freak. I'm a clean freak and an introvert so no wild parties from me, but I don't mind to join in with others at times. I don't really drink much but I'm happy to have a glass at times and I like to have one or two friends visit. I study a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design, second year, and I love studying languages (currently in Japanese but also want to study Korean, too). My ideal locations are anywhere within a walk or bus ride from Callaghan campus excluding Jesmond. I prefer to keep costs to a minimum so my absolute maximum is $190/week including bills for the perfect place. If I had to say three main criteria for my perfect place it'd be safety, avoiding Jesmond and off street parking is a must (my car is my baby). Overall, I'm clean and quiet usually, and I both like to hang out with housemates as well as time out to myself. I think I'm fairly easygoing. :) - Marissa
