I love a good chat but I'm also keen on having my own space at times. I'm very respectful, clean and have never missed a rent payment! I'm a genuine person with a positive outlook on life and believe in putting out good vibes into the world so there would be no dramas with me!
Hi! I’m Mel, I’ve just turned 20 and need to get away from the small town I’ve called home for my whole life. I live in a rural town called Gulgong, nsw. I love the beach and the vibes Newcastle has to offer. I’m very easy to get along with, out going and always up for a laugh. Attending any and every festival is one of my fav things, I also love art and singing. I’ve worked in Hospitality since leaving school and I’d love to start working part time and become a student at the Newcastle TAFE. I’m clean and tidy and love pets. Also very reliable and understanding.
Hi potential future flatmates, my name is Kevin. I am recently turned 23 and have just relocated to Newcastle for a new full-time job. I am expecting to be in Newcastle for the next 8/9 months and am hoping to find an established place with other flatmates. I am all time foodie. If you love to eat, we will be awesome friends. I do occasionally go out to eat to try new things, however if not, i will usually cook. I am a very clean and tidy person, so i will clean up after myself. I am very punctual and will pay my bills and rent on time as required. Please message me if you think i will be an excellent flatmate. If you want to meet up to chat to get to know me better, let me know. :) Please also note I am willing to team up with other people to find a place to rent. Cheers Kevin
I’m a pretty chilled individual who loves a good chat but appreciates a quiet, relaxed household through the week, and a drink or two on the weekend. I study the Bachelor of Nursing full-time and work part time in hospitality both here in Newcastle and in Sydney. In my down time I love to play the acoustic, go to the beach or just hang out with a glass in front of the tv. I’m a tidy, respectful person to live with and come with two kittens Sunny and Frankie :) Shoot us a message if you think we’d get along and we’ll grab lunch and see how things go.
Hi! I'm a full time art student - starting degree in Natural History Illustration next year at UON.. and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. Looking for a large room - I have a drawing table+computer desk I'll need to fit in there, I’ll probably downsize to a double bed so I can squeeze more into a room. not a big party person, being 30(ish) i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. veggie patch (or potential for one) and a nice yard space would be awesome. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
Hey, I'm Kristen! :) I'm from America, but am in Australia for the second year and will be working in the Newcastle area. I'm on a working visa! I love going to the beach, having a laugh, cooking, and having real talk. I'm keen for a drink here and there, but am not into the party scene. I'd love a message from you if you think I'd be a good fit for your place :)
48 yo professional female from WA loving my new job and this city. Looking for shared accomodation for 2-3 months while I work out where I want to live. Hello, I am Mia from Germany! I am currently in Newcastle and would love to stay here longer. I am looking for an affordable accommodation from now on. I am a open-minded person and easy to handle. Otherwise I am a chilled person who also likes to party every then and now and is always keen to do something fun i.g. surfing, swimming, playing cards, etc. Moreover I am a tidy and organized person, who loves to cook. It would be cool to meet some nice new people who can show me there favourite spots all around Newy.
Hi I’m Lisha, I’m 20 & moving to Newcastle to start my first year of study at UON. I like to live a happy, healthy & productive life; socialising with friends, exploring nature, staying active, working in hospitality & now soon to be studying. I would love nothing more than for my future roommate(s) to become my friend(s) so living together can be fun & comfortable. I am a tidy person who always cleans up after myself because I’m not a fan of mess & I repesct personal space as I myself like to have alone time. So if you’re looking for a new roomie & like what you’re reading, let me know! :)
I'm happy and easy-going, looking for a nice little place to call home. About to start my second year of medicine at Newcastle Uni and I work in retail part-time as well. I have a little lovely dog, she's a toy poodle x King Charles cavalier (only 4kg!). She is fully house trained, 4 years old, very quiet. She loves sleeping on laps and going for her daily walks. She might be able to live with my parents, but I’d like to keep her with me. I'll be keeping myself pretty busy but will be happy to have a chat and hang out with the people I live with. Looking for friendly people. I have some hobbies that may benefit others; I'm fond of making desserts, for example. Happy to join an established household or team up with others to find a rental together, preferably by start of semester on Feb 21.
I’m a sociable guy who doesn’t mind a Cold beer after work, working full time as a salesman at Romain Marketing Group. I am working generally 9:30am-7:00pm , Friday - Saterday. I am looking for some friendly housemates to do life with for the next 10 months while I save to travel.. I’m a Musician slowly writing a few albums for fun in my spare time.i like to cook and I don’t mind cleaning and housework.
Currently living and studying a bachelor of visual arts in Adelaide, originally from orange, and hoping to move back to NSW, just to be closer to family! Lover of all things outdoors, but on the flip side of that a massive enthusiast of snacking, Netflixing and just general vegging out! Love to have a bevvy...or two, banter and zamberos is my weakness, I’m always up for a good chat, in the same token completely respect others personal space! Have been living in a share house with 3 other housemates for the past 12 months so am no longer a complete rookie to the flatmating game, i.e the cooking, cleaning, groceries etc.
My names Joanne and I pretty much keep to myself and read, write and draw etc. i like to keep organised so there’s no worry about cleanliness with me. I work part time in Kotara Westfield and recently moved up here from Sydney last September but had family issues and need a place to continue working :)
Hey, My names Abby! I love a cheeky bevvy on the weekend. In saying that I also love my Netflix sessions and respect others wanting their time alone too! I work full time 9-5 so ill be home at nights. I cant say I can cook but gotta learn somehow right? I'm not fussed on the move in date either! If you want to have a chat sometime just message and we can organise a time :)
Im moving to Newie to start my masters degree! I love surfing, playing with my dog, reading and music. I will be busy with Uni so I'm looking for a chilled home vibe during the week but don't mind friends over etc. My partner Chris is a professional tiler and Loves the beach... so doesn't Lama our 4 yr old border collie. We want to live amongst people that are chill, open and honest so we can co-create them good vibes! We are seeking either a whole house (in which we invite like minded individuals to team up with us!) or a room in a chill share house. Please feel free to message me anytime, about anything! Lots of love, Murphy, Chris and Lama
Hi, I'm Kirra :) I'm 23, I work in medical administration and I'm studying community pharmacy. I'm quiet and very goal oriented so I like to keep to myself and spend most of my spare time relaxing at home. I'm looking for my own place. I currently live in a share house but I'd really like more space for myself. I have a whole house full of furniture and I have a big bedroom where I am but having a lounge and everything in my room is very cramped, and this house is old and kinda falling apart. I also have everything you could need for a kitchen and I never have enough space with it being divided by three people all with our own crockery and utensils and groceries. I've been on my own since I was 17 and I've moved around a lot so I'm very respectful of my property and I just want my own space where I don't have to worry about share house politics any more. I've been renting the same place for coming up to 2 years in April. I can continue to live here and renew the lease with my current house mates (our real estate and landlord are happy with us) but it does get tiring constantly having to work around other people when you've been doing it for so long. I'd love an affordable 2 bedroom house or even a granny flat or studio if I had lots of privacy. If you're looking for a new tenant to rent your place and you think I'd be suitable I'd love to hear from you. I also wouldn't mind getting a bigger place and renting with one other like minded person so I'm not against the prospect of team ups. I've lived comfortably with both males and females but it's really important to me to live with people who have similar personalities and lifestyles, who are clean and respectful and honest and fair and not into heavy partying. When I live with people I treat them as family and I only want to live with others who feel the same.
I am a full-time medical student at Newcastle uni, looking for a furnished room (at least a bed and a desk) in a sharehouse, from late Feb-September. I am clean and tidy, and fairly self-sufficient. I'd like to live with fun, easygoing people, and be able to come home to a friendly environment :)
I am looking to move to Newcastle for the purpose of being closer to university. I appreciate cleanliness throughout my home and belongings. I don’t have any habits that may affect roommates such as smoking, loud hobbies etc.
