My name is Kelsie :) I’m 23 and have a 1 year old cat named Bella, who is an inside cat. I work in the hospitality industry and work most nights. Next year I’m hoping to enrol into the Mask academy. I like to think of myself as a respectable, clean housemate. Although I do love my own space I’m always down for a chat.
Laid back, respectful and fun individuals. We like the good vibes! About us: 🌺Murphy and Lama (the four year old border collie) love the beach, Murf surfs and is going to do her masters at UON in Environmental Remediation starting feb 2018. We try to be as environmentally mindful as we can and hope to create a lush veggie garden. 🎶Chris is a tiler and music producer. He's also very respectful with the volume of his tunes, so don't worry :) He loves swimming, he's a great cook and loves to share meals, a few cold ones and a good chat. We are seeking either a whole house (in which we invite like minded individuals to team up with us!) or a room in a chill share house. Please feel free to message us anytime, about anything! Lots of love, Murphy and Chris
I'm a 38yo male, married with a wife and two children. I am looking for a transfer with work to Newcastle and as such I will be looking for some accommodation for myself for the first 6 - 12 months, until I can find something appropriate and stable for my family to follow me. I work full-time with the public service, I am a quite and respectful individual, friendly and social. I imagine that I will be doing a lot of travel backwards and forwards between my family in Broken Hill and work in Newcastle, so I don't think I'll get in many people's road as a result. Interests are the gym, computers and enjoying family time, as well as renovating.
Hi there. We're Sarah and Julia - just 2 pals trying to sort themselves out. We're both new grads (teacher and social worker) looking for a place to live since all our friends are moving away. We are both very easygoing and love to hang out with our friends. We don't mind the odd night out, however are equally happy at home with a good movie and glass of red. We're looking for roommates who will be our friends, not just strangers. We're open to moving into an already established place, or teaming up! We are going away to America on the 17th December and won't be back until 24th January, however we will be contactable via facebook and email until then, and will regularly check this site. We are very happy to pay rent from around 3rd January! Give us a yell if you're into it.
Full time architectural drafter, looking for a place closer to work and the beach. Like to keep myself busy over the weekends, but happy to grab a casual drink during the week. Not overly good at talking about myself, so just hit me up if you want to know more
I'm Jack! currently living in brisbane and looking for a place in or around newcastle to live for a minimum of 3 months. I'm self employed and usually out of the house for at least 5 hours a day. I like to stay pretty active, love getting out of the house and seeing friends and family but at the same time love just chilling in the house watching a movie or playing some video games. I'm generally out and about all weekend. I'm a closet nerd and a massive fan of all sports. I cook all my own meals but happy to have a couple of shared dinners a week. I'm always down for a chat, movie, workout, or a trip down the pub! Looking to move in mid jan but happy to move in earlier. Also have a cat through circumstance but she's an absolute legend. Cheers!
G’day, I’m entering my second year in a B/ Business at the University of Newcastle. I’m easy to get on with, clean and tidy, enjoy socialising (but also respect peoples space and privacy). I’m a keen surfer and also enjoy music. Looking for a somewhere to live near the new University campus in Hunter St (walking distance). Off street parking is preferred, room to store surfboard is also required.
Hi! I'm a full time art student - starting degree in Natural History Illustration next year at UON.. and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. Looking to move between late December to mid January (when the lease is up here). Thanks to a greedy tax man.. (somehow ended up OWING money this year 🤔) ..I'm not in a position to provide much bond/rent in advance at this stage.. 0-2 weeks bond is all I can commit to for now. Looking for a large room - I have a drawing table+computer desk I'll need to fit in there, I’ll probably downsize to a double bed so I can squeeze more into a room. not a big party person, being 30(ish) i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. veggie patch (or potential for one) and a nice yard space would be awesome. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
My name is Alyce and I'm 29 and work fulltime monday to friday. I am looking to move out of my place end of december early January. I'm originally from Brisbane but moved here 12 months ago and absolutely love it! Im a very outgoing person with a wicked sense of humour. I enjoy brunch and coffee, the beach, gym and getting out of the house. I also don't mind a chilled night In with a wine and a movie but i am usually out and about. Any questions please ask :)
Hey there - My names Kirby and I'm 21 years old working full time for an Insurance company. I am looking to move into somewhere nice and close to the beaches/town - preferably Merewether. I'm super tidy and I'm totally down for a wine after work with you! I'm looking at starting a new sharehouse with one other female or moving into a pre existing sharehouse of girls right in town, if this sounds like you, send me a message :)
I am Georgia and just arrived at Newcastle to start my 3-year Ph.D. at the University of Newcastle. I will be working from 9 to 5 Monday- Friday at UON. I am a no smoker and have no pets. Clean and tidy, well organized, enjoying walks by the sea and looking around for museums and art. I am also willing to stay down town so as to socialize and have better transportation with express bus to the uni. I have no car and need no parking space. Preferably an ensuite room. Please contact if you are interested. Georgia
Uni Student starting in 2018, wanting to settle in newcastle and start my new life . I am an extroverted person who love stimulating conversation, but can understand peoples needs and personal spaces. I would love a chill environment, which is clean, as I am a clean person.
I am an easy to get along with 33yr old single girl who has lived in shared housing for the past 6 years. I am from Sydney and am moving to Newcastle as I have a new primary school teaching job starting in 2018. I love walking, baking, beach time, visiting cafes and chilling out with friends (Though I don't have any yet in Newcastle so I am hoping to change that)
Hello! Myself and my friend Bella are looking for another person to join us in a sharehouse. We want to move out in January and are not super fussy on the suburb we live in. Bella and I both study at UoN and work as well. We are social, bubbly people how love a good laugh. We love a few drinks on the odd occasion but aren’t massive partiers. Would love to hear from you! Sorry I don’t have a photo of the both of us!
21, currently work full-time in the mines while doing part-time uni and a contract based second job which sees me going away sporadically. Can guarantee good laughs when I'm actually there! In my spare time I like going to music festivals, training, hiking, water sports and social events. I generally keep pretty quiet on weeknights as I'm up early for work. Ideally looking for a place near the beach or in the city, or other social housemates who wouldn't mind having friends over of an afternoon or weekend and occasionally hanging out.
Hi there! I’m a trainee spraypainter at an industrial contracting company, working as the store man/assistant workshop coordinator. I work 7-3, Monday to Friday with some weekend and overtime work. I’ve got a whole house worth of furniture, being a couple couches, dining set up, kitchenware and other bits and pieces, as well as my own room setup. I’m a pretty easygoing bloke who can keep clean after myself. I love music, and have a bunch of instruments I’ll bring with me but usually practice at another place (unless you’re down to jam!) I enjoy cooking, and on the rare occasion I can manage to, I’ll be more than keen to head into town and try something new! I also have a few other appliances, full size and bar fridge, a washing machine and lawn mowing stuff for any yard work. I like to fix or work on things, so some space for projects would be awesome! I’ll also be more than happy to fix stuff around the house, I’m pretty handy at fixing most things. I’m also a bit of a package deal, in that I’ve also gotta find room for my lil gal Sasha. She’s 1 and a half, malamute cross red cattle dog. Loves fetch, hates giving back the toy. She’s wickedly clever but I’ll reinforce the yard as necessary to make sure she won’t get away. Sleeps outside, can be placid enough to come inside but she’s very excited to see ANYONE so the first few minutes inside the house she gets a little nutty. My move in date is pretty flexible, I’m looking to vacate my current place so I’ll just need at least 28 days notice for my housemates/property manager then I should be good to go!
Hi, I'm Rosaria! I'm a 22 year old currently studying science majoring in biology at Newcastle uni whilst working. I have a ginger cat who is adorable and no problem at all. My ideal house is somewhere in cooks hill or Hamilton. I'm a great cook and would love sharing meals with my housemates, with a glass of wine as well. I love to socialise as much as I love my own space and am respectful of that of others. I'm clean and tidy as well which is great. My schedule is all over the place with work but I'm either working days and socialising nights and vice versa. I love going for a swim in my spare time and can teach you yoga! I'm more inclined to team up and lease a new house to make our own as well.
Hi, I'm Ebony. I'm currently working a 7-day rotating roster in Newcastle and am looking to move closer. I enjoy cooking, a wine or 2, and binge-watching TV shows. I do work a lot and do a fair amount of O/T and on my days off enjoy being out of the house. I have a gorgeous puppy named Maya who is a maltese x toy poodle. I'm a clean person and enjoy a clean house (do what you like in your room, but I like a clean bathroom and kitchen). I'm happy to sit up and watch TV and have some bevvys, but also happy to have my alone time so won't be living out of your pocket. I am a bubbly, funny, life-loving gal that loves a good laugh. Send me a message if you'd like any more information! X
Ex-Tasmanian, soon to be Ex-WA My work is moving me to Newcastle to live a full happy life for at least 6 months haha. I'm an Electrical Engineer (don't hold that against me, i'm on the social end of the spectrum). I work full time, 1/3 of the time I will be travelling for work and not around. I also love experimenting with food and using my housemates as guinea-pigs :) I make my official move to NSW on the 15th and arrive in Newcastle on the 16th December. If you'd consider having me around that date, that would be great :) Love swimming, hiking, spear fishing - up for almost any adventure.
