Hello, I’m Madii and I’m looking for one or two new flatmates. My friend Ash and myself are looking for a 3-4 bedroom place and would like to team up with one or two others to start a new sharehouse. I’m a friendly, neat and respectful person who is looking for a fairly quiet place to live with people I get along with. I’m fairly introverted/ can keep to myself/ bit of a homebody but like to have a chat or watch tv/ movies with housemates. I consider myself pretty nerdy and like going to the cinema, seeing live music, stand up comedy, video games, plants, cooking/baking, crafting and relaxing with a cup of tea. I work casually and am on centrelink but I am always on time with rent and bills, and earn enough to support myself comfortably. I am also actively seeking more work and/or full time employment. I like to keep my space and my home very clean and am looking for people similar. I don’t drink but don’t mind if you do, but I’m not looking for a party house or people who have guests/ partners over all the time. Not interested in living with couples, smokers or drug users. I would prefer something in or very close to Chermside, for work and convenience, but can look elsewhere if need be. I have my own car and would require a parking space, preferably off-street. I get along well with pretty much anyone and am respectful of different cultures, religions, lifestyles and only ask the same, but LGBTQI+ friendly is a requirement for me. I have multiple references as being a good housemate and hope you will consider me! I will link to my friend’s profile as soon as they send me the link. I also can bring a lot to a new place! I have a good amount of furniture + appliances for common spaces if need be, and I have a spare king single bed for sale for cheap if you need one.
I have just finished my diploma and am seeking full time work, I still have more than enough income to cover my rent and bills, I’m a clean tidy respectful person, and enjoy my own space, I have one medium sized dog, she is very friendly with people, but not great with other animals, happy to do a team up and find somewhere
Hello, my name is Dan. I'm a 31 old German guy. (although I feel a bit younger) I'm looking for a new place to stay since my current place in Strathpine is too big for me and I want to live closer to Brisbane. A few things about me: In my private time I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, hiking or going to the beach, having a meal at a nice restaurant, going out or just staying at home and watching a movie - just like most other people do. :) I work 3-5 days a week in Brendale, so the northern suburbs would be preferrable. I'm looking for a nice little place from 15/01/19 - either for myself or with positive people (early 20s to mid 30s) around me - doesn't matter where you are from. A must for me is my own room, a place to park my car, (fast) internet connection and that people don't smoke within the unit/house. If you are not quite the opposite of me and/or have a place to live or suggestions, feel free to send me a message. Cheers!
Just recently moved to beautiful Australia from my native Canada with a full time job starting up in the area which I'm pretty excited to move forward with! I'm not high maintenance whatsoever, I have no allergies or anything, hygiene is KEY, I don't smoke, however if you do I'm alright with it. NO JUDGEMENT. I like to think I see the good in all people and hopefully you will too :) I get along with many different types of people,(of course mainly the respectful ones.) I'm all about positivity, of course I got to live up to my friendly Canadian stereotype. I like to do my part, I got no problem cleaning anything anytime no matter what but of course I'm no housekeeper. (clean as you go). but yea all things considered, good vibes, I CANNOT wait to start this new step here. Il be working about 5-6 days a week in this period of time so il be busy but love to enjoy my downtime watching Netflix and whatnot. I like to write, read, work out, cook, and of course Spotify is like a hobby to me in its own. I sometimes teach English online depending on my schedule, its just something I enjoy doing. THANKS FOR READING :)
Hey, I'm Darcy. I work in disability support, usually day shifts but occasionally overnight. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably close to the valley, in my free time I'm usually at Netherworld playing pinball, going to gigs or reading. I'm tidy, respectful, and generally pretty easygoing and easy to live with.
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and sometimes work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events. Sharing a place is more comfortable when people are prepared to communicate, and actively listen if any issues arise. I've lived in many share houses and I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I've got my own bedroom furniture and need space for a queen bed, study desk and other bits and pieces. Some storage space would be a bonus. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. Practising music at home is important to me and I'm respectful of noise levels. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries, and on-line TV series (Love The Handmaid's Tale/ Counterpart / Deep State / The Orville ) which I'm happy to do in my room or with others. I like to attend live music jams, swim, do yoga in the park and meditate at home on a regular basis.
Hey I'm Aaron, a 25 year old creative designer that's working full time in Brisbane. Currently, I live in the Newmarket area and preferably looking for a place not too far from there. My current living situation (which is only ending because the owners are selling the house) is with three other females - we've lived together for the past 2 years but unfortunately it comes to an end! I'm a pretty relaxed, no stress, clean and tidy kinda guy who understands the need for personal space but also doesn't mind a good chat or quality hang time with friends too. Being a graphic designer I spend most of my weekdays at work making things to look pretty on a computer... but after hours I play both social and competitive Netball. On weekends you'll probably catch me playing netball (again ha), mountain biking, jet-skiing, hanging with friends or even back on the computer catching up on all my favourite TV shows. I've only been in the Brisbane scene for the past two years so it'd be nice living with housemates that occasional embark on odd excursion out of the house here and there. Otherwise the general cleanliness & respect you'd want from anyone else without being a total OCD control freak would be great! Send me a message if you're interested.
I’m a bubbly, respectful, down to earth gal! I always clean up after myself and always in a good mood! I love going on adventures and being outdoors. I am a bartender in the valley so I’m at work from night til early hours of the morning! I am hoping to live in a nice relaxed environment where everyone gets along and enjoys a few beers together every now and then. I love trying new things and making the most out of all the activities Brisbane has to offer so if you’re keen to join that’d be awesome! I’m obviously aware of personal space and alone time, but I don’t want to live somewhere where no one talks to each other and there’s negative energy.
Hey hey! My names Ellen. I currently work full-time five days a week and do uni on my days off so my weeks are fairly busy. I like to keep my living spaces clean and organised. On weekends I love to see a live band when I can but usually i keep it to a few casual drinks with friends. I'm hoping to keep to the north side of Brisbane, close enough to my work. Seeking laid back, easy going company with a few people in a share house or one other in an apartment with own bathroom. I own a fridge and washing machine that I can share to the household and unlimited internet for $60 a month. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm looking to move out with a fellow designer/artist/creative Hi, my name's Josh - 26 years of age. I currently work casually in the luxury fashion retail as a stylist whilst heading into my final year of bachelor fashion design. I would like the living space be used as as combined studio work space. This is an unusual living circumstance, but this is what I'm after for a year for any one who is dedicated to there passions. Two bedroom, two bathroom apartment located in the city or surrounding suburbs with a combined work space in the living room.
Fully qualified hairdresser, just moved back to Aus from a working holiday in Canada! Happy, bubbly, love listening to music, hanging out and meeting new people! Clean and tidy also very respectful of people’s space!
Hi, I'm Gemma! I'm 24 and working casual in retail. $155 is my max budget and I can't go any higher, sorry! My current lease doesn't end until the 31st of January, so I can't move sooner than the 20th of January, 2019. I'm very clean and tidy (I'm allergic to dust so I have to be!) and want to live with others who are as clean as me. I like to think I'm pretty friendly and get along with most people ^_^ I'm allergic to cats even though I love them, so no pets is a priority. Also my dust allergy means that places with hard wood floors and/or blinds are super appealing to me!
Hi my name is Alina, i'm an 18 year old student who is looking to move out sometime between 2019-2020. I'm a fun loving, chilled kinda gal, I love music and going to gigs (so roommates who enjoy good vibes and live music would be amazing) and always down for a drink or two. I like to keep things neat tidy, organised and enjoy my own time as well. I am currently working as a waitress in South Bank meaning I work most nights. I have enrolled for university 2019 and currently hold a diploma in Event Management. That's pretty much it, feel free to contact me and more then happy to tell you more about myself.
Hi there, I’m Bonny and am looking for a room in a share house. I’m 19, working part time and am continuing my studies february 2019. i tend to keep myself a fair bit but am always up for a chat or a binge on netflix :) i love music festivals and concerts, camping, the beach and hanging with friends. i’m also tidy, friendly, quiet and polite. if i sound like a good roomie feel free to swing me a message :)
Hellooo, my name's Abbey, I'm easy going and will pretty much get along with anyone. I'll probs be a lil shy and awkward to begin with but once I'm comfortable that won't last long, well the awkward will, I'll forever be an awkward turtle. Anyways......... Ive been living out of home for a year and I'm keen on making some new friends in the process of house hunting. So, I would love a place where we can chill and have a chat but will also be very respectful of personal space. I'm not gonna lie and do the usual "I'm very clean and tidy" because in my own space I can be a lil bit messy butttt I'm very tidy when it comes to shared spaces and I will always clean up after myself. I work part time as an child and aged care worker (yes I know very different ends of the spectrum) and I'm studying fulltime at QUT doing a BA in Human Services. I'm an amateur photographer who loves to explore and star gaze. I love to cook, am obssesed with stripes & quirky socks and absolutely adore animals, so any type of animal is a massive plus. I'm a vegetarian so it'd be awesome to live with some fellow vegos but that's not a must, just a bonus. People who know how to keep plants alive would also be a massibe bonus and I would love y'all forever because I love plants but can't keep them alive to save myself. My current lease ends on the 10th of Jan but I can move as early as the 1st if need be. I'll need parking of some sort as I've got a lil red thang that just functions as a car (I'm happy with anywhere as long as I've got somewhere) Well that's a lil bit about myself, I'll stop rambling now but if ya think I'll suit your home flick me a message as I'd love to hear a bit about yourself & your house 😊
Hi my name's Helen and I'm looking for a peaceful household to call home. I'm friendly, chill, quiet, considerate and tidy. Love good music, nature, painting, learning new songs on the keys, going for long walks, movies, markets and learning about new things to cook. I'm doing an online business course whilst I look for work in admin/retail/hospo. I do have a reliable income in the meantime and I'm a responsible person. Paying my rent/bills is always my priority :) I'm a non-smoker, don't have any pets to bring along (but stoked if you guys already have one) and I have all of my own bedroom furniture and car. Not the clubbing type, but I love a good conversation over wine or beers every now and then fo'sho! If I sound suitable for your household, please don't hesitate to send me a msg! ($120-$150 P/W)
Hi everyone, I'm Marco, 31, and I will soon move to Brisbane to start my student visa. I'm a tidy and respectful person, well, probably nobody has ever said otherwise ;-). I'd describe myself as a friendly and easygoing guy, who will probably be very busy with the study, work and gym. I'd rather have my single room but I'm open to share the room with the right person. I don't mind living with smokers and I love cats. I need a parking space for my vehicle, it doesn't matter if it's on/off street or whatever kind of park it is. That's all for now. Thanks everyone Marco
We are a hard working couple, we like to share a dinner, a glass of wine and a good chat, we would like to be speaking in English all day long and also share a little bit more of the australian life, we are super helpful and responsable.
I’m a 32yr old Norwegian girl, currently doing my master at UQ and working part time as a youth worker. I consider myself as pretty easy going and relaxed. I enjoy being social, however I respect others personal space and also appreciate some alone time. I enjoy spending time with friends, hiking, working out, relaxing on the beach in between working and studying.
Hi there! I'm currently studying Law and Fine Arts at QUT. I'll be starting my second year of uni in 2019. I have been living in a sharehouse for a year now with two other girls and went to boarding school for six years prior, so I have quite a bit of experience living with others. I've been told that I'm a bit like a grandma; I enjoy a quiet house, my privacy, and I almost always go to bed early. I'm always up for a good chat, though, and would be open to throwing the occasional dinner party or boardgames night (which makes me sound even more like an 87 year-old smh). I'm also a bit of a nerd; watch the Lord of the Rings movies with me and you'll win me over for sure. In my free time I love watching Netflix, playing video games, and drawing. I'm also volunteering for a non-profit organisation. I would like to find someone who is quiet, tidy and has a sense of humour to move in with come January. Needs to be reliable rent-wise. I would prefer to stay within the Newmarket/Alderley area, close to public transport. I have quite a bit of general furniture, including two small sofas, a TV, a coffee table, a dining table and chairs, and a washing machine. This means I'm not really interested in moving into an established sharehouse (unless you happen to need this furniture, then by all means). I also have a car, so off-street parking is ideal. Message me if you're interested in teaming up!
I’m a vet from Sydney, moving to Brisbane for a new job - work means I am not home very much until weekends, and typically I like keeping busy and going out of a weekend. Looking for a sharehouse with housemates who like to hang out and have a drink but also happy to do your own thing.
