Hi, my name is Micaela and I am 25 years old. I am a looking to move in for the short term by 7th December. I am an Army Veteran and registered nurse however not practicing at the moment and am looking to commence study next year in sonography. I come along with a small dog Charlie - he brings the cute factor! He is a legally accredited service dog therefore it should not be an issue with the real estate. I would prefer a place that has Internet (happy to contribute) and I do have a car so it would be good to have somewhere to park. I'm very clean and like things organised so I'm all good on the cleaning end. I don't mind a glass or two and a chat but not a big partier. I enjoy watching Netflix and just relaxing!
Hi! I'm Ashley and I'm 22. I graduated QUT late 2016 in Fashion Design & Marketing, and just spent the last year travelling, but am looking to come back to Brisbane in January. I'm very clean, friendly, and considerate, and looking for similar minded roomies. I value my own space but am always up for a bit of a social; I'm not much of a partier, but can rarely turn down coffee, markets, and wine... I have already secured a part time internship and will also be working part time somewhere around Brisbane city. I'm looking to share a place in a fairly central location, preferably with 1 or 2 other females (or a mixed gender), with my own (hopefully spacious) bedroom, at around $160 - $220 per week.
Hi there, Hamish works full-time Monday to Friday so he can provide a lavish lifestyle for myself and my plants. I'm currently studying and working 15 hours a week at a cafe. I also volunteer at a Cat cafe as I cant have my own! We are both two beach bums who enjoy visiting the sunshine or gold coast on the weekends. We love to have a good laugh and get a little silly but not much of party people and are both extremely clean. like, extremely.
Hey mate, Stats - easy going - clean - coffee addict - songwriter - electrician - I like to book up my time but I’m always up for a beer or a jam when I’m free. I’m looking to share with 1 other person but If 2 I would consider it. I’m moving down from the sunny coast, staying with a mate on Newmarket rd, So give me a bell
Hi my name is Ngaire. I'm 24 and working full time as a Travel Agent. I don't work Sundays and I enjoy letting my hair down every now and again. I enjoy being social but also enjoy my own time. I am looking for an unfurnished room as I have all my own furniture.
I’m a 25-years-old visiting Ph.D. student at UQ from Italy and I’m looking for a quiet, tidy and clean place to live. I’m usually at UQ all day everyday, but I enjoy having a good chat or sharing a meal in the evening once in a while :)
I’m not a clean freak, definitely not dirty. Keep any mess confined to my room and I’m hoping to find someone who’s the same. Not really into partying. Would like to find housemates who are friendly and up for a chat but also like their space sometimes :)
I am looking for a comfy large room in share house, one-bedroom or granny flat type living for my little brother. He will be 19 in January and is the most clean, tidy and respectful 18 year old, basically spends his time just cooking and eating and laughing. He is very easy going and respects privacy. Always on time for bills and rent. He does smoke. Looking for somewhere anywhere in Brisbane that might suit. Let us know if you have a place we might be able to come and check out :)
Hi There My name is Sarah, I'm 33, I work full time as a Scientist at Coopers Plains and I enjoy a quiet and healthy lifestyle. I enjoy a chat in the kitchen and I respect people's personal space. I'm looking to move either before Christmas or before our lease is up January 8th. I'm a non-smoker and I don't have pets. I'm can pop in for inspections either after work (6pm) or on weekends. Would prefer a room with private bathroom and built-in wardrobe.
I'm a Biomedical science student at QUT and a rule follower. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others. I originally come from Toowoomba but moved to Brisbane for uni. I play three instruments but don't get a chance to practice too often and I always do it at reasonable times and if everyone is okay with it. Currently not working, however, will be searching for work when semester begins. I am only looking at places I can afford so rent and bills will always be on time :)
Hello to whoever happens to be reading this. Chris here! Zahli and myself are excited at the possibility of becoming future roommates with yourself, We are both currently located on the Sunshine Coast in QLD but after much preparation we have decided to pack up and start a new adventure, that being said sorting out a house is the last thing to cross off on the to do list. A bit about myself. My name is Christopher but you can call me chris, I an 27 years old, originally from scotland and been in Aus since I was 15 and I have an 11 month old Border Collie puppy by the name of Esmerelda, currently I am a supervisor at Gelatissimo, an ice cream shop. When not doing that I sometimes do security work and my big passion in life atm is gaming, be it on pc or console! I spend my other free time going for bush walks with the pup, doing judo and catching up with friends. I don't mind a drink now and then and I'm happy to cut loose from time to time and would be more than happy to participate in some board game nights and late night talks about conspiracy theories Coming to Melbourne is a huge change but after spending some time there whilst in the army, I loved the vibe and atmosphere it brings! Upon coming down I have work lined up within the security industry. About Zahli Hey everyone, My name is Zahli Carman, and whilst I am 19 but don't let the age fool you! Looking after my 2 sisters I had to mature quickly and I feel this shows in how I treat my home and in my work Ethic. Am originally from Melbourne and have family a few hours out of the city so I already know how great of a place it is and how much Chris is going to enjoy it! Currently I work full time as a waitress at the coffee club and that will be what I am transferring to upon moving down to Melbourne. When I'm not working I enjoy doing a fair bit of photography which includes doing private photo shoots or going for long walks and taking photos for my portfolio. I love to explore new places also enjoy hitting up casual bars and catching up with friends over a few glasses of wine! Hopefully with the information we have given you a spark of interest as to what it maybe like living with us, If you feel you would like to be part of our new chapter then please feel free to message us as we are ready to start our new life in the wonderful city that is Melbourne!!!
Hi! I'm Justine. I'm pretty chill and am great to hang with (I have a bubbly personality), however, I also give space and will do my own thing. I would love to make a great connection with my future flatmates. I love to read, watch movies but occasionally also go out. I like to swim as exercise and don't mind cooking. I am studying engineering at QUT Gardens Point and am heading into my second year in 2018. This is my first time moving out and want to make the best experience possible so I'm open to new adventures.
UQ Student searching for a quiet, tidy home. Looking to move by the New Year. I enjoy gaming, studying, jogging, and fun discussions. I am independent and tend to keep to myself but without being entirely antisocial; I enjoy talking with others about their ideas and learning about things that I'm curious about. I clean up after myself in shared spaces and tend towards a relaxed, fair attitude. I am prompt with paying bills and I am also very good with cats and dogs :) Further inquiries welcome!
I am a 22 year old female that is social yet quiet and appreciates alone time/space. I am nocturnal; I work nights and sleep throughout the day. On my days off I visit friends and family or am studying/painting (art student). I am very clean, respectful and easy to get along with. I'd ideally love to live with someone who also works night so I can get that sweet sweet sleep through the day but have learned to adapt and can work around anything. No shared bedrooms, I am professionally single so not a couple, I'd ideally have my own bathroom too. Brisbane born and bred so I know this city like the back of my hand and would love to live around the Valley, Milton, Petrie Terrace area.
I am a third-year film and TV student in QUT, I am looking for a share house at moment and plan to stay until next year July, after my graduation. I am saying look for a room for a couple, but I will be staying there alone most of the time and my partner will only join me in next year April. I am easy going with a sense of humor, not too loud, and always happy to have a chat with the housemate, if you would like to talk with me. I am a smoker, but I don't smoke in the house. If the backyard is smoke-free I will go out to the street to have my cigarette. I don't like party or club, but I do like a small gathering (not over 5 peoples) and attend to keep it as quiet as possible. I will move out my current place on 22nd December. If you looking for a civilized housemate I will be waiting for your message or call, thanks.
Currently full time worker going part time and back to UQ next year. Preferably looking for female flatmates and an apartment rather than a share house but I'm open to options. I like to play it low-key during the week but love going out and a few drinks on the weekend. Hoping to find some roomies I can become good friends with and socialise together. I have an elderly cat who will be a 100% indoor pet. Keen to meet up and get to know each other a bit before jumping in.
Hey hey potential housemates! My name is Jono and I’m 28 years old. I currently live in Newstead but have since taken a job in Toowong so looking to move closer to work when my existing lease finishes in JANUARY 2018. I work as a barista full time Tuesday to Saturday. Interests include music (I play drums and guitar but don’t worry, my drums won’t be joining us as I have them stored at a studio), wine and whisky, hiking and completely ignoring TLC’s advices on not chasing waterfalls. I’m a clean and easy to get along with individual with no lack of common sense or respect for others. I enjoy doing dinners or drinks with housemates and would like to live in a friendly atmosphere. I’ve lived with my current housemate for a few years now but he is moving in with his girlfriend so I’m having to look at other options. I’m hoping to live with similar ages and forward thinking, progressive individuals who would consider themselves from the left. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hello! I am 22, single, from Brisbane and graduated from UQ earlier this year. I work full time for Queensland Government so I have a steady income for rent, etc. Looking for like-minded and laid back housemates! I have lived in share houses for the past few years and I am looking for a new place to call home. I enjoy spending time with my friends and as I work full time I’m not home a lot. I’m tidy, enjoy cooking and plants! My current lease ends December 18 so looking to move by then.
I'm looking for the perfect place for me and my beautiful dog, Gus (ask for pics, I promise you'll love him). I'm moving out of my current house in March as my housemates are both moving for work. Sadly because of Gus I can't live in an apartment, as he needs a bit of space to run about and I'd feel terrible putting him in a tiny courtyard, so here I am, looking for a place with a yard! I'd be very happy with a one-bedroom flat or small house with yard, or a granny-flat would be ideal! If there's a room in a share-house, for the right people, I'd be keen for that too. A little about me? I've always lived in Brissie (Except for a couple of years gallavanting overseas after uni), I work full-time as the CFO in a small company, and I spend my weekends out and about, often hitting up beaches and forest walks with friends and my dog. I don't party, but enjoy the occasional couple of quiet wines on a Friday night with friends (or potentially new housemates) over dinner/boardgames/movie. Gus is a 1year old border collie X stumpy-tailed cattle dog. He's a quiet dog and only ever barks if there's a possum, cat or someone he doesn't know in the yard (he's been known to chase intruders!!) He's well-behaved and although he's an active breed, I exercise him daily and he's surprisingly more calm than most working dogs I've met. Although he's previously been used to being inside when I'm at home, he and I would be happy enough for him to be an outdoor-only dog if required.
