Hi I'm a respectful and super clean and tidy guy, transitioning between selling and buying my next house (should be move ready in April, possibly sooner). Looking for potential team ups in advance. I'm friendly and active, I play Tennis, go running and gym. Love a nice weekend coffee and breakfast out, cooking. Hoping to team up with someone similar, would love to meet new friends out of the experience also. I may consider taking on a lease myself for a property and have someone come in and go halves with me.. so get in touch if would like to join forces with me!
I am an easy to get along with uni student who is currently working part-time in admin. This will be my first time moving out so I am looking to live with someone who I can have a great first experience out of home with! I am quite independent but I would still enjoy being able to hang out with my roommate and have a wine or two together My partner would be staying over couple of nights a week, or I would be staying at his, so I hope this would be ok with you! Please send me a message if you would like to know more :)
Hi I'm Zoey, I'm 28. I'm a freelance Graphic Designer and Photographer (work from home). I live a creative life so I do enjoy my time alone but I also like to be social as well – love a glass of wine...or two! I also like to get out to see live music when I can. I'm friendly and tidy and enjoy reading, music and going to the beach. I'm looking for a nice place in a good location with my own bathroom :) I am currently on a week to week lease so I am flexible with move in dates.
I work full time, out often on weekends - I don't enjoy spending to much time inside, so 9/10 i wont be home during the day on weekends. Im respectful and always happy to share - whats mine is yours, although i understand not everyone feels the same way :) I do tend to go out late at night a lot so will be coming home early hours of the morning, i will try to be discreet however if this will bother you, we probably wont make good roomies
Hey, I'm Molly, I'm 22 years old and will be moving down to Brisbane to study at Griffith University. I'll be studying full-time and intend to work part-time. I'm outgoing, but do enjoy my own creative space. I like to keep my living environment clean, am hardworking, and responsible. I love the outdoors and am fairly active. Some of my hobbies include art & drawing, hiking, playing guitar, hanging with friends and running. My move in date is mid February around the 12-14th (neg). I'll be coming down to Brisbane tomorrow (Jan18th), if your available it'd be awesome to check out the room! Thanks, Molly
Hey guys, this is Stenver. I'm a student from Taiwan! After I finished my 2nd year WHV, I'm about to study Diploma in January. I am looking for a place which is near by my college. I'm a bit shy for the first sight but it won't take too long to get involved. I'm such a foodie, love to explore the city and take pictures, also keen on fashion and creative stuff. I love the place to feel like home and live like a family, I'm very neat and strict to be clean, if you are the same person like me, I'd really love to be your mates!
I'm easygoing, friendly, humorous and with respect for all people. I'm organized, clean, decent with a good sense of humor. I'm a Brazilian guy in Brisbane to study English and I have a part-time job :) I´m looking for a minimum stay of 6 months, if we get along, we can stay flatmates for a long time. Interested in single rooms with own bathroom in the region of Valley-Newstead-Teneriffe-New Farm. Best Regards!!
live with the bf but want my own place for space and perhaps something closer to work in brissi so I don't always have to drive to the coast all the time
I am easy going and love a laugh and a chat. I also like to relax but at the same time am more than happy to have a party. Ex Army combat engineer. Qualified chef worked in Aria, the Hilton and Hayman Island....now doing Acting
I'm working part-time as a sales person for a luggage retailer and will be entering my last year in a Bachelor of Visual Arts for 2017. I'm a pretty clean person that is happy to do her share in keeping the space clean and gets on with people relatively easy. Quite happy to have a conversation and become friends with my new house mates, but also loves some time to myself to decompress. I am originally form Bundaberg, but have been living in Brisbane since February 2016. I love a quite read, catching up with friends and family in the area and many artistic pursuits; such as drawing, painting, photography, visiting GOMA, going to various plays, etc.
I'm currently looking for a room in a share house! I'm about to start my second year at QUT studying a bachelor of mass communication! I'm clean and tidy and very respectful of noise during the week. I'm open and friendly but also will keep to myself sometimes. I work in retail and like to see friends and family on the weekends! Message me on flatmates.com or alternatively text me :)
Hey guys! I'm Tahlia! I'm currently living in a share house on the north side of Brisbane but I'd love to move out and get closer to the city. I'm looking for a housemate that's probably between the ages of 21 and 25. I'm 21. I'm a very quiet and reserved person but I love to have a laugh. I'm a neat and tidy person, I like having a clean house but my bedroom does tend to get a bit messy, I do a clean on weekends when I'm not working. On one hand I'm quite the hermit, I'll happily sit at home and do a Netflix Marathon all day but on the other hand I love to be outside and exploring new places or going to the beach. I'm a non smoker and rare drinker, I don't like to party and I go to bed early. I'm a musician and a beginner pole dancer. I love food, books, photography and videography and if there's an animal around, there's a 100% chance I'll talk to it rather than any humans nearby. I have a pet - you'll need to be open minded because she's a rat. I know I know, a rat definitely wasn't my first choice of pet either but she was so darn cute I couldn't resist! She IS strictly an outside pet though but she comes inside for cuddles. I also have a gorgeous cat called Turtle who lives with my parents - I would love to bring her up to live with me if it's at all possible but it depends on the living situation. I need to move into a place where I can put my car under cover or in a shed and I have a jewellers bench that I also need to put somewhere - a shed is ideal for that too. I would prefer to be able to spread out my belongings throughout a house as I have too many things to keep in one bedroom. I would love to live much closer to the city, 15 minutes or under would be amazing. Travelling to work from where I live now is getting super expensive! I'd also prefer to move in with just one person. If we team up, I would prefer that we find a 3 bedroom place so that my parents, and friends, have a place to stay when they visit from NSW. I ask that my new roommate doesn't smoke please! If i sound like someone you would like to live with, feel free to contact me and we can meet up for coffee and chat sometime!
Friendly, open-minded, respectful and fun! I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, going to the beach, having a chat over a glass of wine, cook together or just chill watching a movie :) I am clean and tide up after myself. I'm a great flatmate I swear haha with lack of self confidence :)
I'm very social (but know how to respect boundaries and personal space) and would love to develop a good relationship with any flatmates! I think of myself as quite easy going, and I love exercise, but I think the main factor here is that I AM VERY CLEAN. Working well together is a major plus. As someone who is a recent high school graduate and is moving out for the first time, I know this is a completely new way of life for me and am willing to adapt too.
Hey guys! Myself (Georgie) and my friend Jana are looking to find a third housemate to live with! We both study at QUT and work. We want to find someone who is likeminded and has a similar lifestyle to us. We are both very clean and tidy. We have healthy, active lifestyles and are both busy most of the week. We don't want someone who parties all the time, but we love to have a glass of wine or two over the weekend to wind down. We would love to hear from you!
Hey I'm Marama, just moved over from NZ, looking for an apartment ideally so I can move out of my aunties, need my independence so I can do my own thing. Working full time in the city, still figuring out the area so would prefer to stay central or near the city! I'm clean, friendly, respectful, chill. Never late on bills. Keen to connect with someone and look for maybe a 2 bedroom apartment in a central suburb even?? Also need to note, I have 2 brothers who And live in Kilcoy and will likely come visit me on their days off, maybe crash over. If that's not cool with you, neither am I. :)
Hey guys! I've just gotten back from living in Los Angeles and travelling a little around the world for the past 3 years. I get along with everyone, pretty down to earth and I'm respectful. I am tidy... most of the time ;) and will do my part around the house. I love a good meal and great coffee in the morning.... love yoga but definitely don't go as much as I would like haha.
Hi! My friend Alex and I are moving to Brisbane in February and are looking for a place to stay for our first month in the city. (If we like the place we're more than open to extending our stay as we'll be staying in Brisbane for a while.) Alex and I have been friends for almost 10 years - ever since we shared a room together in Greece during a summer when we worked as bartenders in one of the local clubs on Kos island! A lot has happened since then though, and today I'm an IT consultant at a web agency in Stockholm and Alex has a degree in engineering. I will keep working at my job remotely during my stay in Brisbane, so I'll be spending most of my evenings on my laptop communicating with Sweden, and therefore highly value a good internet connection! We both love to meet new people and hang out and socialise and we're looking forward to introducing Australia to the Swedish concept of "fika". We are also fun, caring and respectful individuals and we are looking to move in on the 3rd Feb. XX
Hello, I am a Czech girl coming to UQ for an exchange semester, I'm open, easy going and social. Looking for a room, preferably in a shared house where I could make new friends (if interested in travelling, even better!)
Hi, I'm moving to Brisbane from Perth for an Engineering job and need a place. I'm easy going, sociable and a tidy person and am happy to live in most inner city suburbs. Looking for some people similar to me to team up with to find a place or a room to rent in an existing share house. Ideally about 6 months.
hi! we are a couple looking to stay in city or nearby :) we are clean, respectful and friendly people. I am a third year business student at QUT (full time) from Russia and my partner is from Japan and is working at a restaurant. Message me for more details, thanks!
Hi there, I am a german international student, coming to Brisbane for my final semester during my Master's degree. I am planning to have a really great time in Brisbane and therefore looking for a friendly and convenient place to live. As I will be traveling a lot during my time in Brisbane, I would really love to get your insights on which places one should definitely not miss to see in Australia. I am currently living in a shared flat in Frankfurt (Germany), so I know what it means to live in a shared home. I like to have a chat, hang around with friends and I am doing a lot of sports (Fitness, Soccer, Running, throwing some darts, hiking). I also like playing table games (every kind of games). Hope to find a nice place and/or nice roommates Best David
I am a 20 year old musician/surfer/student from Hawaii. Currently live in London but am studying Finance and Music at UQ. I am pretty social but also very respectful and conscious of my environment. I try to make it to the beach as much as I can, usually in the morning before class! I also play music regularly at venues around London and Brisbane. I am mellow, tidy, and proactive. I like to keep myself busy and value good conversation.
Hola! I am an international student from India. I belong to a punjabi family and I am going to pursue my masters degree from University of Queensland (UQ), Sant Lucia, Brisbane in feb,2017 so I am looking for an accommodation in my budget. I am very friendly and studious guy who loves to enjoy with friends in his free time. Also, I am a gregarious person and like to make new friends. Moreover, I am a big fan of american series and I am a sober guy. Feel free to contact me :) .
Hey, I'm currently living on the Gold Coast however my work is shifting up to Brisbane shortly and I'll be looking for somewhere new to live up there once they move. I'm 29 years old, easy going, clean, respectful of other housemates and due to working full-time (IT) and studying for a certification you'll barely see me as I'll either be at work or in my room studying - boring I know, but does make for a good housemate! Apart from work and study I like to keep fit, catch up with friends, travel and go exploring different areas around where I'm living (haven't lived in Brisbane so plenty of exploring to do!). I'm also guilty of liking a good takeout and Netflix/movie night too - this guy sure knows how to chill ;-) Anyway, I wont go into too much detail but please feel free to contact me for a chat and possibly organise a meet up to suss out if I'm a suitable housemate. Thanks for looking.... :-) PS - I have been living with a female housemate for a little over a year now and more than happy to supply a reference from her if requested....
I'm a 19 year female who works as a bartender in Fortitude Valley. I am super easy to live with, I'm a very tidy person who loves to socialise but I also like my own privacy.
I work full time (or more) as a cosmetics consultant/ makeup artist in Newstead. I am clean, easy-going and quiet and spend most of my spare time at the gym, beach or netflix-ing. I need a respectful housemate who will do their share of the housework, but mainly someone I don't mind socialising with as it makes it so much easier to live together in a friendly environment (although I also enjoy my own space). I'm looking for somewhere relatively quiet on work nights, preferably with a pool and my own bathroom. I have been renting in Kelvin Grove for the past year and would love to find somewhere around the Newstead/ Teneriffe area to avoid driving to work. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm almost 21 and a newly graduated nurse that will be working full time. I'm easy going, friendly, and always up for a chat, however on the same note also respect each others privacy. I'm tidy, enjoy cooking, relaxing to a movie, and the occasional drink however do not go out and party a lot. Shoot me a message if you have any questions, I am more than happy to catch up with anyone that may be interested in teaming up :)
Hello! I work full-time in the city and also study. I am looking for a fun and friendly house to live in. I work really hard during the week so i love having fun on the weekends, having a few drinks and socialising or binge watching netflix while inhaling unhealthy amounts of junkfood. I keep shared areas extremely clean and like to keep to myself sometimes too. I really want a place i can call home. Looking for relaxed people who won't mind being social but also won't mind if I am super anti-social in my room. I love cute animals, modern houses, privacy and my own bathroom. If you can relate at all, message me :)
I'm a professional 32 year old female who comes with a friendly black lab. She's an outside dog who's well behaved so I need at least a small space for her with some undercover area. I'm looking to move down from the Sunshine Coast in approx. a months time. Hoping to find something with friendly house mates. I have my own friends around Brisbane but I don't mind being social with those I live with too. I'm always busy, working, training at gym and going out and I'll probably be heading to the beach a lot of weekends. I'm tidy, easy going and considerate. I don't smoke but I don't mind if roomies do. I am happy to live with people in their early 20's to late 30's. I have my own bedroom furniture which I would prefer to use.
I'm a PhD Candidate (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). Apart from doing my PhD, I also work part-time (a few days per week) as a consulate officer in the CBD. I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. Well I like to think that I'm pretty easy to live with - however I am such a clean/neat freak and a minimalist. I really like something that's marble, woody, white or rose-gold! If the bedroom is unfurnished, that's totally fine since I have got some ideas for my Pinterest-inspired bedroom. Obsessed with all the candles, Aesop products and etc that can make the home is a place to unwind. I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free. I mostly cook at home but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking (everyone says I'm pretty good at baking anything about matcha) at home, I do use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment.
Hey guys! Looking to find a place to ideally share with another couple. I'm 21 a registered nurse and Sam also 21 is currently completing an electrical apprenticeship - both work full time. We do have a small English Staffy (Bear) who adores humans & other dogs. We are both clean & respectful people but do like to socialize on the weekends every now and then! As I am a shift worker we need people who can be respectful of my odd sleeping hours. In our spare time you'll find us playing with Bear, at the beach, shopping, cooking/eating, playing computer games and probably watching Netflix 😊 Message for more info!
All my friends are now married, so I'm seeking to share a unit/townhouse with one other person. Preferably two bathrooms and a carpark (although a place with ample street parking is also fine) - these are not a prerequisite however. Looking anywhere Brisbane Inner North (I have listed many example suburb options but not further North than Chermside). Looking to move now, as I have had to extend my lease a further two weeks to Feb 1st. I work at Eagle Farm so closer to there is ideal. I have all the gear required to setup a place (indoor/outdoor furniture, TV, kitchen stuff etc etc), so if you have a place for rent that is already kitted out (or nowhere for me to store) chances are it might be tough for us to manage. Unfortunately it seems many of the rooms listed for rent are also already kitted out. I have storage options available for some of my items but not all, so perhaps something could be negotiated there. Happy to meet up this week to discuss teamup possibilities and gauge suitability. My work is understanding with me needing to find a place to rent so anytime can be arranged. I work as a logistics manager for an IT company have just completed two degrees (Diploma of Graphic Design / Bachelor of Communication Design) in the past 2.5 years. Weekends I like to go to the beach / hiking / visiting friends. I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility doing a bit of meal sharing because I enjoy cooking for others more than myself and I appreciate that communal aspect of it. I like to have a couple of hours later in the weeknight evenings to myself to work on projects / wind down. Flexible with leasing options but would rather something 6months+ Cheers!
Hi :) Im 25 work full time as a nurse. Im friendly and easy to get along with. Im respectful of peoples privacy, clean, don't go out and party a lot.
I'm currently looking for a new apartment to lease until around 16th February as my current landlord has decided to sell up. I am 26, from the UK and on a working holiday visa which expires in February. Looking for somewhere within 30mins of the city (walking or by public transport). My maximum budget is $180 including bills. I currently work in the CBD for an insurance company Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5pm. I'm fairly chilled out during the week and on the weekends like to get out and explore the city and it's surroundings or meet up with friends.
Full time worker seeks new lodgings for himself and his altogether more adorable greyhound, Gretel. I am housetrained, friendly, financially stable and easy to get along with. I also have a house full of furniture which I bring to this equation. Pretty chill about who I live with so long as you're easy enough to get on with and not a serial killer. I've been living and working in Ipswich for a few years, but a work promotion sees me needing to work out of South Brisbane daily. Thus, a move back to the big smoke is called for. Happy to move into an existing place or to set up a new one with one or two others.
Hello 😊 i am a very happy easy going person ...i have a 4 yr old son i see once a fortnight...im clean and tidy and i work very hard..im very kind and not judmental..im also a musician ..i have alot of respect for people
Hello! I am goofy 26 y.o gay professional working in Medical Imaging. Looking for a place to call home with some wonderful peeps! My current roommate has sadly moved OS to live and I have opted to not continue my current lease (which ends on the 6th of March) for a bit of a change. I am super easy going, clean ( but not OCD) and considerate. Would love to share a couple of beverages/ meals, go for a hike or hit up the movies with the roomies. I like getting out and about, dabbling in crafts, hiking and keeping active. I do have to travel a bit between the GC + Sunshine coast for work, so I do have to be up and at 'em early fairly often. I am looking for an unfurnished room+ I do have a couple of other pieces of furniture ( fridge, chairs TV etc) that I can bring along with me. Please don't be afraid to ask any questions and I am happy to meet up for a coffee/drink. Cheers, Todd
Hi, I'm a french guy recently arrived in Brisbane. I am working full time at the UQ as a researcher in physics. Looking for a cool place ideally between the university and the city center, furnished and with large bed. If no air cond, too bad, but I'll survive (I think)
Currently working the 9-5 as an Engineer in the city. Always happy to have a chat but like my solitary activities as well. I do a little climbing and like to go to the theatre often. I'm looking for a place that's no more than 20 mins out of the CBD walking distance as I like to walk to and from work even though I have a car and will need at least some kind of off-street parking.
Hi I'm Tom. Im from Melbourne and moving up to Brisbane for work and looking to live with people in Brisbane around south bank. I am easy going, love cooking and enjoy the outdoors. I am tidy and am aware of others personal space. I start work around mid feb so any room available around then would be ideal, but of course I am flexible! I have lived in share houses for 4 years now so am used to living out at home and have gotten along well with everyone i have lived with
Hello all, I am a tutor and a PhD. research scholar working at Griffith University. I work full time at the university as a tutor along with doing my PhD. I am looking for a clean and quiet place to stay. I am into working out, healthy eating and living. I would ideally like to stay really close to the G:Link or the train station (as I would be traveling from Brisbane to Gold Coast, if living in Brisbane). I am a friendly and easy going person and enjoy cooking painting and reading a lot. P.S. I am currently overseas on research and conference leave and will be returning on the 12th of February. I will be needing a place to move in precisely on those dates. As a result my only mode of communication will be this portal:) looking forward, Diti:)
I work full-time as an accountant in the valley. I'm originally from South Africa but have lived in Aus long enough to be considered true blue. Aside from bean-counting I like playing a bit of music and keeping active (I play indoor soccer and like to do a bit of running/cycling).
Hi Im Chloe! I have moved to Brisbane from Darwin, I am trained in both acting and dance. I have come here to expand more as an artist and seek new opportunities. In parallel I am also studying a teaching degree online and I teach french and dance to children. I enjoy going out for dinner with friends, socialising with my housemates and I am also happy to retreat to my room and read a book.
Hi. I'm a full time student at the moment and I have to relocate to Brisbane to study the course I want. I'm quiet, a non smoker and not into the partying scene. I'm an avid gamer so I keep to myself a lot of the times, but I would like to get to know the people I would live with.
Hi I'm Hannah, I am 19 but mature for my age. I am going into my third year of Interior Design at QUT. I have a car so a parking space is necessary and would ideally like to be located near a train station. I have lived in a share house for the past 2 years so know how to live peacefully and understand and respect other people's privacy and property. I have always paid everything on time. I am neat and tidy and pretty social - love a good chat, movie nights or afternoon bevos. I am always down to do something like suss out new cafes or going for walks. Please swing me a message if you're keen to team up!
I'm a 28 year old guy who is currently working in retail and studying musical theatre full time. Originally from Sydney, so would be great to move in with some fun social people, whilst also being able to do our own thing as well.
