I need a place as soon as possible I been constantly looking for a place I get $810 a fortnight from Centrelink and I been saving up to move out I do have money to pay for bond and rent and all just giving you noticed I think that's why nobody giving me a chance they think I can't afford it. I have been going at it for 2 weeks straight giving up on Brisbane. I'm already paying $322 a week at a hostel so yeah haha I don't give up that easy. Hello, my name is Shannon I'm polite, friendly, reliable, and easy to get on with :] I’m currently living in Brisbane I’m originally from Newcastle NSW I am currently looking for accommodation a place to rent an apartment in the city or around the city and also looking around the gold coast near trains to go into Brisbane city. That is permanent accommodation so am looking forward to finding a place to stay as soon as possible, As it by myself, a 1 or 2 or 3 bedroom apartment would be suitable. Preferably a place near transportation services (buses, trains, etc). I can pay rent and bond straight up in advance, however, I have not rented before (apart from off of my own mother, as I paid fortnightly to stay in her home). I do not have any rent experience as I never rented before with real estates, property owners nor landlords etc. I move out of home to become independent, meet new friends, socialize also it will be a bonus if you are in the gym as I’m in need of a gym or no gym partner I'm fine with that haha. I need to work out since my goal is to lose weight (as I do have a belly) I currently seek benefits/Centrelink however once I moved into a place I'm willing to look for Part-time work or do something that I’m into. I have a consistent income and can contribute generously and reliably to rent. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Thanks, Shannon :D
I am a working professional that works in the city looking. I exercise a lot in my spare time and prefer heading out for dinner and a quiet few drinks with friends. I am over the party lifestyle. Looking for someone to share with who is similar
Hi! I'm Eden, a 20y/o student studying environmental science at UQ. I'm relaxed, easygoing, friendly, good with rent/bills, and like to keep everything reasonably tidy. I love meeting new people and am just looking for a welcoming place filled with lovely people to call home. I'll also mention I'm vegan but I'm 100% happy living with people who have different diet preferences, no worries at all. Feel free to message for a chat if you think I'd be a nice fit, I'd love to come check out your place! Thanks!
Looking for a clean and tidy, friendly house or apartment to share. I enjoy my alone time to wind down but I also love getting to know people and enjoy a good meal and a drink, movies and games with housemates. I have heaps of sharehouse experience (4+ years, basically a professional sharer), I’m reliable (especially with $), clean, tidy and respectful. Im a ~young professional~ working as an Exercise Physiologist and sole trader of my business (if you have any injuries or want to get fit, I’ll sort you out). I also work weekends in hospitality, so pretty much working 7 days/week all over Brisbane. When I have time off I love getting to the beach, eating overpriced breakfast at cafes, watching movies & tv, playing board games, rock climbing, working out and the occasional night out with mates. Shoot me a message if you think I’d be a good fit or to find out more!
Hi I am Madeleine. I am self-employed and have a few other side businesses that take up most of my time. I go to the gym regularly and like to use my time at home to relax I have a beautiful little cat called Grace Kelly (who doesn't have to live with me but is preferable) and I am a casual smoker (not inside obviously) I am a complete clean freak and have pretty much everything for an apartment except for a couch. Looking to team up with someone for a gorgeous apartment in Newstead area :) Preferably someone who likes to party a bit on weekends or have the odd wine and cheese platter on the balcony x
Hi there. My name is Ambar - I am a 21 year old incoming exchange student from the University of Cape Town. I am looking for accommodation from July to December 2018. I am very respectful but also always up for an adventure and a good time. Tea drinker from birth!
Andres is a PhD student at QUT. He is originally from Colombia but lived for a long season in Germany. He now speaks Spanish, English and German and has traveled across five continents. He is a very responsible guy committed to his work. In his free time, he likes to play with electronic gadgets and go outdoors for some rollerblading, parkour or slack-lining. Diana is a biomedical engineer from Colombia. She was working for a latinamerican-leading biomedical company but chose to take a break to improve her English and travel a bit around Australia. She is a bit of a gym-junkie and likes to cook delicious Colombian dishes in her free time.
My name is Cheyenne, I'm a Registered Nurse working full-time. I am super easy to live with! Easy going but still reliable and tidy. I enjoy going outdoors for adventures and am partial to a few drinks on the weekend. I am looking for a place where I can bring my 5 year old male Golden retriever Leroy. He's a super easy going de-sexed dog who just loves people and he admittingly is used to roaming in and out of the house. I leave him happily in the backyard when I'm at work. He's not a barker! So I'm in need of some dog loving house mates! I also have two cars so am in need of a place with lots of off street or street parking! I work in Brisbane Northside so unfortunately am unable to move south of the river!
Hello :) I am a quiet, extremely clean, super easygoing flatmate and I always pay my rent/bills on time. I spend most of my spare time at the gym, working on my music or out and about with friends or my doggo. I work both full and part time jobs so my schedules pretty busy and I am rarely home. I just want a nice spacious house with kind people to share it with. I've been spoilt the last couple of years so am ideally looking for a WIR and ensuite. But if the rent is super cheap I may be persuaded for a separate bathroom and/or built in. I do not want to share a bathroom though so please don't message me if your property only offers a shared bathroom. I also 100% NEED a yard for my doggo, so please don’t message me if you’re offering a place without one either. I have a tiny and very well trained terrier cross named Armani. He is EXTREMELY well behaved and very loveable. I will confidently sign and pay any pet bond as I know he will not damage the property in any way and I am more than happy to provide peace of mind to a private rental or an owner ☺. He mostly keeps to himself.. unless you’re cooking something that smells good haha so you will barely even notice he's there. We are searching for a fellow animal lover and someone who understands the struggle of renting with pets. Looking to move ASAP I will also be selling the majority of my furniture so would prefer someone who has their own. If you're looking at beautiful large houses and would like someone with a higher rent budget to take the main room, please hit me up :)
Hi there. Jacob here. 22 looking for a room with the right people. I work part time professionally in a call centre. And am studying around July. Looking for a nice place with good people and a positive house. I like to catch up with friends in my spare time and also am fond of guitar skateboarding, games and music.
I'm a very friendly, happy and clean person with a 4yo German Shepherd who is really well trained and loves everyone he meets. I work full-time in a secure job in Newstead that I recently moved from the gold coast for. I spend my days off hanging out with friends and Training my Dog (Louie).
26 years old finance professional, who is keen on meeting with new people. I'm an easy-going and friendly person, who likes both watching and doing sports (swimming and cycling at the moment). I just graduated from UQ and I spend most of my time out of the house somewhere in between work / nature / cafes. Initially, I am looking for a room for about 6 months, but potentially would stay much longer.
Hi I'm Hannah and I'm a masters student studying architecture at QUT. Im a very bubbly and friendly person, easy going who loves to eat and occasionally cooks. I don't mind a couple of beers on the weekends to chill sometimes. I love cats and dogs too!
Hi there, I'm relocating to Brisbane in June and looking for a room to rent or someone to teamup with. I'm very easy going, I work during the week and I like to make the most of my weekends having fun and adventures hanging out with friends, watching live music, or being in nature. I am a massage therapist and counsellor, I do contract work and run my own business. I appreciate living in a friendly, respectful and clean environment. I pretty openminded and flexible and try not to take life so seriously, I value communication and taking responsibility for one's self. I like to hang out with my roomies and have the odd beer or glass of wine, and I also like time to myself for yoga, to listen to music, read or watch movie. I enjoy cooking and being in the garden... if you have a veggie garden that would be amazing! I love animals, I have a dog but she is living on the farm so my new place doesn't have to be dog friendly. I'm not a smoker, but I have the occasional social smoke on the weekends so I'm fine with either smoking/non-smoking homes. I would love to find a new home that's got a bit of a yard or surrounded by trees (or close to parks), in a quietish area, with some storage space and wardrobe/cupboards in the room. I'm looking to share with down-to-earth, conscious people, who enjoy making the most out of life and having fun. My move date and length of stay is flexible. I look forward to hearing from and getting to know my new flatmates! Steph :)
I currently work full time, I'm studying Clinical Exercise Physiology full time at uni. I'm rarely home but when I am, I'm either studying or procrastinating by binge watching Netflix. I'm very clean so would be looking for the same with any roommate. I like to have a chat but need space to study when exams roll around.
Reliable, quiet professional - manager of disability and accommodation service. Enjoys down time (reading, Netflix) when not working; keen for spontaneous activities (axe throwing, brewery tours, etc). I do have two cats I’d like to keep with me (both are neutered male indoor cats) - going through a separation.
G'day I'm 24 years old, work full time as an electrician around Brisbane. I try to live a fairly active and healthy lifestyle, while also sneaking in some beers or a glass of red on occasion. I clean up after myself and pull my weight around the house and have been flat sharing for quite a while now. I would prefer off street parking as I'll be getting a work ute and would like to park my personal one somewhere during the week. Anywhere from 6-12 months would suit as long as its with the right people, would ideally like to live with similar minded, motivated and friendly housemates who like to keep a fairly clean house. People who are up for a chat or a beer or the odd beach trip. feel free to hit me up if you'd like to have a chat, my current lease is up around June. cheers!
I'm a quiet easy going guy that tends to keep to myself a fair bit. That being said I do enjoy socialising on occasion and going away to see friends and family. I work full-time in the valley so something close by would be ideal. I enjoy video games and going to see live music with friends. Not much of a partier and if I do it's often out of the house.
I'm a software engineer working at uq. I enjoy cycling to work, being social, being active, cooking/eating foreign food and board games. Dabble in a little sketching/painting/sewing occasionally. Fairly quiet and often away traveling frequently. Will fix computers and clean bathrooms and toilets. The only things I'm really looking for are large sized room, friendly housemates and good access to bikeways.
I am an Interior designer who is looking for like minded people to live with. I work full time in the city and like to chill at home after work. I like to socialise but and entertain every now and again, but also like to keep to myself at times. I do like to play games every once in a while, but don't consider myself as a gamer. I have my own bedroom furniture, kitchen appliances and TV but willing to purchase more living room furniture if needed. If you are interested in a team up, shoot me a message and we can go from there James
