Hi, my name is Nadine and I´m from Austria (the country without kangaroos). I am 24 years old and I gonna be an exchange student in Brisbane next semester. I am looking forward to find new friends in a lovely shared accomodation like yours. I prefer having my own room with an aircon system that can do heating as well. I can be a very communicative and adventurous as well as a quite and regardfull person, especially in the exam period. In my freetime I love to dance, so if you want to learn how to salsa or maybe viennese waltz this would be your chance. :P If you do have any further questions feel free to ask. Looking forward meeting you! Cheers Nadine
Hi! I'm Marie and I'm from the UK currently travelling the East Coast on a working holiday visa. Am planning on staying in Brisbane for 3-6 months and will be looking for office work. I'm friendly, outgoing, respectful and generally clean (I tidy up after myself but am not OCD!) Able to provide a reference from my old landlords/housemates in the UK if needed. About me... well I love to travel obviously! More of the adventurer type than a party animal, though I enjoy a few drinks and socialising a few nights a week. Other interests include rock and alternative music, gigs, roller skating/roller derby and pole dancing. I've also dabbled in fire spinning / performing, and am a bit of a geek (comics, films, console gaming etc). Looking for a friendly, sociable and clean house with people of a similar age and interests, and could show me a bit about Brisbane!
Hello im new to Brisbane and im looking for an apartment or share place city fringe. Im a chef and work alot, nice and friendly relaxed. Dont mind a drink but getting to old for anything to crazy haha.
My name is Thomás, Just moved to Brisbane from Melbourne, to take up a FIFO job on a 10/4 roster, hence I would only be around 4 days every 2 weeks. I'm clean and tidy and very easygoing to live with, Interests/hobbies include swimming, cycling, going to footy, watching footy, eating out, drinking coffee and wine and reading if I get the time.
Hi, I am currently a FIFO worker (see below). My roster is quite lengthy and want to be as savvy with money as possible - this currently is a Expression Of Interest - to see if I can find a decent priced/location/residence that matches my current needs/fiscal outlay. I need to grow. - I am quiet, responsible and clean. - I am a non-smoker, non-party animal and have no pets. - I am active and like to cook (still teaching myself). I like a good laugh and have a sense of humour, I don't mind having a drink from time to time and have an extroverted personality. - I respect peoples belongings and boundaries. - Ideally I am interested in sharing accommodation with one other female/male, within or around the same age group (Not into a frat house scenario or young hooligans partying insistently). - Part of living a nomadic live for the majority of my life I do not own any furnishings, however not opposed to purchasing such things, however at this point in time highly interested in furnished (fully/partial) establishments. - Prefer people around my age. - Close by to gym franchises or gyms in general. - I do own a little SUV, however I am considering selling it currently. Prefer housing in areas close to public transport or short walk to there. Areas interested in - Kangaroo Point, Teneriffe, South Brisbane and CBD... etc- areas close by to the city life :). If there is a residence that matches my fiscal outlay and is a beneficial area then I am happy to move earlier. Bit about me currently - I am FIFO into Darwin on a 4 weeks on 1 week off roster which is not the most ideal roster. I am an avid reader, budding pilot, love food/wine/coffee, travel and planning holidays (love this immensely), finding a good steak (cattle station girl), stockmarket and love getting dressed up for a good night out, considering my job is in jeans and steel caps! Bit of a gym addict as well :). My future plans are to either give up FIFO and settle into mainstream society, normal 9-5 job and a sleep in on weekends :). Thank you Cassandra

Hi I'm Shannan! I am 24 and work a full time corporate job during the week which keeps me pretty busy. On the weekends I enjoying relaxing, heading out and seeing friends/ family and enjoying some solo time to recharge. However I am always keen for a wine night and chats or even a movie night on the couch. I am a clean and tidy housemate, and think this is really important when sharing with others!, I currently live in New Farm and am keen to stay in this area. I am either interested in finding someone who wants to move in to where I am currently renting (there's nothing wrong with it, my friends is just moving in with her boyfriend!) or happy to team up and find a new place. Preferably no smoking.
