Moving to Sydney for work, I’ve been with my company for 10 years (media/radio) and relocating to grow this. I’m looking for a great share house for my 10 month stay. Open to a short lease (or more) to to make my time here great! I’ve shared houses for years with great people so I understand what makes a top housemate. Normal, tidy and sociable. I love a ‘home / fun vibe’ in a place. Simply, I’m looking for laidback yet somewhat professional house to share with. I’ll be working through the week and relaxing and exploring syd on the weekends. I enjoy many creative, artsy, techy and outdoorsy outlets! Looking for a place with relatively easy transport options to Pyrmont where I’ll be working.

Hey there, Currently looking for a room in the inner west preferably Marrickville, Petersham, Enmore, Stanmore basic area. My budget is about 280. Looking Ideally for a chilled and easy environment with people around the 25-35 mark. I work as a delivery driver during the day in Marrickville. Monday to Saturday 9-5 ish. Other than that I'm Interested In music, art and films and love a cheesy rom com. I'm a pretty laid back personality at home, I like to listen to music and jump on the computer. I Have turntables and speakers that I can either put in the common area or in the room if it's big enough. Like to have some music playing in the background whilst at home, nothing too hectic though. I'm pretty clean, helpful and a positive around the house in regards to chores and general things. I'm a cigarette smoker, just so you're aware. I have minimal furniture to add to the space in general, however happy to add things if needed. Very flexible with moving dates. Please get in touch if I sound alright for your spot. any questions feel free to ask. Thanks Mitch
Howdy mateys, If you're looking for the two most kick ass roommates too live with? Look no further, because you've found them. We are two 21 year old females with part time and full time jobs seeking another equally as chilled out gal to live with us. My interest include, consuming copious amounts of red wine, so thats a bonus if your hobbies include having a chat at the end of the day; with a pinot noir in hand. We are exceptionally clean (seriously I'll clean the house 24/7, I'm talking the whole SHA-BANG) Majority of them time I'm either at work, writing, killing it at crosswords or soaking up some good old R&R; a lot of the time in solitude, so if you're into alone time then we're going to be a match made in heaven, although I also enjoy a good old bant or hang out. My friend Briane who would be moving in as well, spends most of her time at work or pursuing her mission to try as many different types of cheeses as she can. Look I'm no Jamie Oliver, but I do often cook enormous amounts of dinner, in which you are more than welcome to dive into to. We have recently been looking at multiple 3 bedroom properties in Redfern, Marrickville and Newtown for less than $800 dollars a week; now you cant tell me that isn't a BANG ON PRICE $$, we're also not referring to your typical whole in the wall places, the properties we've looked at are super lush with lots of character. 1. Doggos welcome ( I have a dog who would be at home 3 days a week, joint custody with an ex partner LOL I know) Bear is a bichoodle who doesn't shed, doesn't smell and doesn't bark, the only con he possesses is his consistent need to cuddle, but as if thats really a negative) 2. Smokers welcome 3.LGBT+ Individuals welcome (You wouldn't be the only gay in the house, WOO lets unite) 3. People that like to party are welcome- as long as I don't wake up to your friend having puked in my bedroom :) 4. We don't care for your religion, political views, sexuality or race as long as you're a top quality person.
We are both travellers from England, looking to live in Australia for a little while. We’ve been travelling through south east Asia, and now want to experience what Australia has to offer. I will be working in retail while my boyfriend will be doing construction work. We are a very laidback couple, but are always up for a laugh.
I'm quiet, chill and constantly trying to be considerate. Studying Media Production in UTS, I'm keen on talking about movies, literatures and all the interesting stuffs. Being a video gaming hoe for years, owning a PS4 and currently working on Assassin's Origin, I'd love somebody spending gaming time with me. I don't cook a lot and obsessively keep things clean. I believe communicating is vital between people who live together and bond together.
Hi there, Basically I’m a very busy corporate guy (general manager) of a global company which means I’m usually away for 1-2 weeks of each month. I’m into fitness and and yet love food and dining out. Being active is energising to me so I like to get out most weekends being social with friends and exploring the best of Sydney. Enjoy cooking a good meal at home as long as I get to share it in exchange of good conversation. Love animals but don’t have any pets of my own. Really flexible with people and yet private. I also have furniture if required or can leave in storage. Hope to find a great house to share with great people. Cheers Rory
I am neat and tidy, keep to myself and not a big partier or drinker, so not looking for that sort of place, more of a relaxed home:). I work full-time, including some weekend work in the CBD during normal working hours. I enjoy going to the gym, playing video games and reading. I am an avid sports fan as well. Good internet is a must, as well as air-conditioning :) Thanks, Josh
I am looking to relocate to Sydney from Adelaide for work in early May 2018. I am looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom house or apartment with a courtyard for my dog. Happy to ‘teamup’ with the right person(s). I am a down to earth person. I work full time in a management role, so I am busy during the week. I like to get out on the weekend and catch up with friends. I have a cat (inside only) and a dog (Dalmatian) who are both very friendly. I am a neat and tidy person who is quite house proud. I am not the type to have parties, I'd rather go out for dinner.
Friendly, bubbly working professional. 9-5 mon - Friday Easy going, I clean up after myself and I'm not in your face. I can find my own fun but also up for hanging out, a good chat and can take a joke and laugh at my own expense! Also love a good beer and wine- a social drinker and eater :)
Hi, We are two friends from Scotland planning to be in Sydney for a couple of months. We are nice, laid-back people who love a quiet movie night in as well as going out for drinks. We are clean and tidy. We are chatty but also value privacy.
Easy going, tidy, work alot. Social person! I would prefer a place where the roomates are cool with others having friends over, respectfull ofcourse. But I am an outgoing person who works alot but also goes out alot! I know this isnt for every household but any housemates who enjoy the social vibe at home please give me a message! I work at the coolest pub in st leanards, and also a bar/restaurant in circular quay. So all my work is mostly late nights. Cooperative housemate who will take care of everyone as well as myself ❤️
Hi I am Hugo! 23 year-old currently working in the public sector as a financial analyst (young professional *tick*) I have had 5 years of share-house experience so definitely share-house-trained. I respect others' privacy but also like to chill with others, share the occasional meals and wines (though I prefer gin-and-tonic), fit right in with most households listed here. (This is more than what I have written on Tinder and hopefully I have made a better impression here!)
I'm looking for a furnished bedroom around the Newtown area (will consider nearby areas) for about $350/w for 4-6 months, maybe more. It would be great if the room also included a desk - or enough space for one - so I can work from home occasionally but that's not essential. I don't need a parking space. I work in live events so my work hours change often but I mostly work 9-5 and some evenings or weekends. I'm clean, I always tidy after myself, and when I'm home I tend to just chill out in my room but am more than happy to participate in house meals and stuff when I can :) I do smoke but almost never once I come home and absolutely never inside (I hate the smell of a smokey room) so if I do decide to have a cigarette at home I'll go outside or go for a walk. I'm LGBT friendly, 420 friendly (but don't do it myself), and am just generally easy going and try to get on with everyone. I have to be out of my current place by Fri 27 April so would probably want to move in a few days before as I'll have to work it around my work schedule.
I'm a polite Canadian looking for a place close to the city. Since I work in the Sydney Westfield, I'd like a place fairly close preferably 30 minutes of travel or less. I'm usually not home because of my hours. But I do enjoy to have a drink after work sometimes. I like to socialise with my friend and meeting new people.
Searching for shelter and friends like a needy rescue dog. I'm 27, from the UK and newish to Sydney, so looking for a home with some decent people that are down to binge watch the occasional Netflix docu, share a beer and maybe even tag each other in the occasional meme. Work in construction and leave early so shouldn't interrupt your morning routine and try to do things at the weekends depending on motivation. Lived in a few share houses so I'm trained and domesticated. message me if this doesn't sound awful.
My name is Lou. My moving plans fell through so I'm looking for a new place to hopefully move in this week so I don't have to shuffle my things around too much. I can afford anywhere from the $250-320 mark depending on bills. I'm open to short term for now but would prefer to find something stable. About me: I'm 24 years old and love Basketball, snowboarding, telling terrible jokes, going out writing, reading and anything outdoors. Generally very goofy. I'm studying IT at UTS and Real Estate licence privately. I'm currently working for a start up in the Real Estate industry as well as Uber driving meaning you can call me Louber and I can probably pick you up when you're drunk if I'm not. As a housemate: I cook once a week and clean as I go, I'm a homeowner so I'm used to paying bills and staying up to date with all things like that. I would need to fit a queen bed and a medium sized desk in my room. I'm out of the house a lot and for days at a time when I go up to visit family almost fortnightly but love to be social and love joining in with some drinks or dinners. Let me know if you think I would suit your place. Tl;dr - 24, goofy but responsible, bad puns included, ready to move this week. $250-320. Inner West
I have lived in many share houses from Perth, to Melbourne, to London, to Sydney. I am currently living with my 3 mates but our lease is coming to an end and we have decided to part ways.
I'm accepting of all lifestyles and love all animals (spiders being the exception!), so have no trouble bunking with a cat or dog (or multiple). I love to hang out and get to know others, but also respect privacy and like some down time to myself. Just got a job in the music industry and am moving from Melbourne! I love playing and watching soccer, having TV and movie marathons preferably with wine and popcorn (HP nerd alert), and love going out and exploring new places. I like to keep things neat and tidy and will willingly chip in to keep the whole place nice and clean.
