I’m Ellen and I’m 22 years old and I work full time as an office manager for a small cleaning company. I love animals, especially dogs as I have a small Chihuahua cross that lives with me currently. I would love to bring her with me as she is a trained anxiety dog and very well behaved but if that’s too difficult I’m happy to leave her with my family. I work in Queanbeyan Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and tend to keep to myself for about an hour after work to mellow out because I have quite a stressful job. I love to cook and especially love having a glass of wine after a long day and watching movies. I don’t spend much time at home on weekends as my friends and I usually go out to dinner or have movie nights at their places. I’m very clean and respectful of other people’s personal space and time. I’m looking to move in around the middle of May. I have my own bedroom furniture and TV but I don’t mind living in a furnished room.
WHO: I'm a full-time worker who is clean and reliable but also very quiet. I am happy for a chat but I do tend to keep to myself, so prospective housemates must be okay with this. I’m vegan, non-drinking and non-smoking (but don’t mind if you’re not), and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. Reference from current landlord/housemate available. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy place that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet (no ad hoc parties!). I have my own furniture and am hoping to fit a single bed, 2 chests of drawers, a bookcase and desk in my room. I also have a small amount of my own cookware for the kitchen, if it can be accommodated. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or disruptive drunkenness. WHERE: Anywhere in the ACT, so don’t be put off if your suburb isn’t in my preferred list. WHEN: I need to move by June 30, but other than that I'm pretty flexible with moving date. June would be preferable but earlier can be negotiated; I need to be able to give at least 2 weeks notice. HOW: If you would like to meet me and show me your place, please send me a message (with any extra helpful info that is not in your listing), and we'll go from there.
Hey everyone, I am currently looking for a new place to live! I am looking at apartments/ townhouses on my own and ideally looking to team up with someone similar to live with! But if the right share house comes up I won’t say no. I am 24, currently working as a childcare assistant educator and work full time Monday to Friday. I like to keep to myself most of the time, but enjoy others company every now and then. I like to have a few drinks occasionally and like to have friends over from time to time as well. Message me if you wanna know more :)
Hi, I am 20 years old and am currently employed. I am studying a Bachelor of Justie Studies at the university of Canberra, although at the moment I am taking a break for a few months. I believe that I am a trustworthy, respectable and reliable, as well as a clean and tidy person. I love to meet new people and to be out and about but I also love a little time to myself to just sit and relax. I also love to cook and listen to music. I am a fun but reliable person and I would love to be able to find a place to live. I am happy to be flexible with my moving date. Thank you for your time!
I'm from Korea and I'm going to work in Canberra. I'm quiet, kind, tidy, and meticulous. and I like to listen to music, read books, watch movies, study, drink coffee, and beer! I can't speak English very well, but I'm going to learn English hard and I will be a good flatmates. :-)
I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am a non smoker. I have no pets but I am a pet lover. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs. Would like to find a roommate who is clean but not ocd clean. Looking for a room to rent or another flatmate to find something together.
I am a clean and tidy person who is easy to get along with. I enjoy having a drink or two with friends and having the occasional dinner together. I do have a pet Devon Rex cat named Calvin who i would love to live with me but he doesn't have to if you do not allow pets. I work night shifts from wednesdays to saturdays so I often sleep through those days but enjoy my days off by relaxing and catching up with friends and family.

WILLING TO CLEAN HOUSE. I'm a 43 yo mum of 3 boys so an experienced housekeeper! I am a carer. My 9 yo son visits me 7/14 days f/n. Easy going, open minded with gsh. Can keep to myself or have cuppa n chat. Enjoy all music, even SOME..of todays stuff. Like to garden, read n have intelligent conversation. Recently become addicted to Netflix when I have time.
I’m Bethany a 26 year old music teacher and photographer. I’m friendly and usually up for a chat but happy to have quiet time too. I love a tidy house (especially kitchen), so I’ll gladly work to keep it clean. A few mornings a week you’ll find me at the gym before work and if I have spare time I’ll enjoy a book or Netflix with tea or coffee and chocolate. Rainy weather is my favourite for a cozy day, especially in winter.
I'm currently a 23 year old student, will be finishing my degree in May. As a flatmate, I am tidy, reliable considerate and sociable. Always up for a chat or TV show binge session/ movie night but I do respect people's personal space.
My son and I are a little dynamic duo who've been living alone and traveling life together. We've migrated from the Philippines and have a rich culture to share. We love reading, outdoor adventures, bush walks on our own or with our dog, going to the beach and just exploring everything Canberra and the Region have to offer. We love meeting new people and are warm, friendly and conscientious.
I am a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender person who is very easy going. I'm currently at University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health. I am mostly seeking to start a new share property, so anyone willing to move into 'fresh' accommodation with me would be ideal! Just 2-3 people including me would be preferable. You would need to be willing to sign-up to a joint lease with all tenants. I can basically furnish a large home if necessary. However I don't have a dining suite or a lounge suite. * Kitchen = very large twin door fridge, microwave and just about every cooking item you could want! * Living = large timber pieces including wall units, bookcase, hallway table and entertainment unit (for television, etc). * Laundry = front loading washing machine, ironing board, etc. * Outside = lawn mower, whipper snipper, water hose, etc. The selfish bit! I have a seven piece bedroom suite, so i'd be requiring the largest bedroom in a property. I also have a study desk in my bedroom where i'm currently living. (I've kinda got used to this set-up!) I have an existing NBN Internet contract with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to netflix, etc. If I/we can source a new property in an existing NBN suburb, I can transfer the service to that location. (I know many suburbs to the West of Belconnen are being wired-up for NBN soon.) Although I can wait until June 30, I am hoping to find a new place to live anytime from mid March onwards. My share of any rent would be $220 per week maximum (I am a Uni student after all.) I'd prefer a property that is in very good condition and located on the North side of Canberra - ideally within reasonable travel distance to the University of Canberra. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. I think of home as a relaxing place to escape the 'noise' of our busy and stressful lives. So anyone who wants to live in a comfortable, quiet home environment, i'd like to hear from you! Having said that, friends dropping by is a good thing! I like to cook a dinner for my friends every so often and i'd be more than happy for my housemates to join in. If baking muffins in the kitchen whilst sipping a hot chocolate on a Winter's Sunday morning appeals to you, we'd be perfect housemates! That's it !!! Hit me up if you're interested in joining forces to find a new home!
Hi there, I will move down to Canberra from Sydney for study and work in late Feb or early Mar. I am looking for one or two females/couple to share a flat with for at least 6 months or longer, but I am flexible with the length. I am an easy going and friendly person. I like to make friends, and wish we could become good friends to hang out and have a talk with. But I do respect others' privacy at the same time. I have experience of living with a family with little kid or females over 5 years, so I have learnt how to be considerate to housemates. I am also a quiet, clean, tidy and organised person. I would like to have a room with build-in wardrobe, ideally also is furnished (but I am flexible with that if the rent is a bit lower :P). I have a car, so off-street parking is necessary, of course garage is perfect! I do want the location of the house/flat has an easy access to public transport too, although lower frequency is acceptable. I look forward to hearing some good news from you guys! :)
My name is Teresa. I'm originally from HK, have been staying in Melbourne for nearly 10 years. I'm coming Canberra to study one year diploma and may further stay after graduate. I'm a friendly and positive girl. I love to meet new friends from different backgrounds. I enjoy cooking at home and chatting with other housemates during dinner. At the same time, I respect others' privacy if they want some own time.
I'm 28, I have a 4 year old Italian Greyhound and we are looking for somewhere to call home. Currently living in WA and will be relocating back to Canberra in the next month. Still looking for work in Canberra but thought I should put the feelers out to see what is available.

I think it is time to move out... Currently working full-time and studying part time at UC. Easy going, chill and pretty adventurous person, will almost get along with anyone. Like to keep living space clean and tidy :) Preferably would like to find a place near the city/north side.
We are both very easy going people who love computers and gaming. We have a cat, dog and fish to accommodate and can both cook and clean. Very quiet people. Actively looking for full time employment, keen to find work.
Hey, I’m 22 years old and work full time in Barton. I’m pretty easy going and like a tidy house! I’d be with my friends or family if I’m not working. I’m looking for somewhere to move into or finding a person who wants to get a house!
I am a Masters student looking for a new place to call home! I am easy going and neat and tidy. I love to cook (and share my food with other people) as well as a good laugh or chat. I am also pretty active (gym, long walks exploring Canberra). While I enjoy socialising I also respecting that people need their own space. P.S. a pet friendly place would be great but isn't essential
Hi! I’m Qi. I’m from China, I have lived in Melbourne for five years, now going to Canberra business and technology college for diploma studies. I’m easy going, tidy, and want to make friends here :) I have a cat with me, he is shy but friendly and love to around with people. If you prefer no pet, please let me know, my friend can take care of him during these days.
I love to play cricket and swimming and always happy if anyone join me in this games. Another thing is that I love to experience new places as I used to live in Melbourne and spent time in Sydney and now it’s time to Canberra.
I'm a former journalist who now works full-time in Media & Communications in Woden. My work hours would be leaving each weekday morning at 7 and home anywhere between 5-6. I also tend to spend a lot of time in front of my computer working so I would prefer not to be locked away in my room but rather be in a central area of the apartment that's social so I can watch TV and interact with housemates at the same time if that's possible. I'm extremely quiet, (although happy for noise at appropriate times), easy-going, friendly, clean up after myself and put things back where I find them. I always appreciate the same, yet don't mind doing the odd little clean-up for a housemate while I'm doing mine. Likewise I cook my own meals, but it's no problem cooking for others. I make a happy relationship with those I share with a priority.
