I am an international PhD student that will be moving to the Brisbane area in mid-August for 8-12 months. I love to do anything outdoors like hiking, camping, and especially rock climbing. I am an early bird, very clean, pet friendly, and prefer to live with non-smokers. While doing fieldwork, I'll be in and out of the house at weird hours (sometimes leaving at 2-3am) and going to bed super early. Ideally, I'd like to live with other graduate students or young professionals.
We are a couple hailing from Brisbane & New Zealand which have been living together for a year. We love to travel, explore new cafes/restaurants and enjoy hanging out at the beach & doing the occasional hike. Our passions are drawing, painting, reading & writing. We love to keep fit and healthy & enjoy making new connections & finding new experiences. We both work full time and are out most likely more than we are at home. We have a kitten named Sophie who’s as sweet as pie and is more than happy to do her own thing. Collectively, we are looking for a relaxed household and aren’t fussed who we share with be either a couple or single, just people who can respect each others space and environment. Damin is a Non-smoker and Summer is an occasional smoker. Both of us have been in share houses before but looking for somewhere fresh :)
Hi! I am travelling to Brisbane this September to start a research placement at Griffith University. I'm a fun 21 year old from the UK looking for a house that is near to the Nathan campus. I'm a chilled, active person who loves to travel and get out in nature, I'm a tidy and can be quiet person but would love to socialise and experience what Brisbane has to offer. Feel free to get in contact with any questions! Cheers Beth
I am 33 year old straight male, working in a professional firm. I have been working in London till now and will be moving to Brisbane shortly. I have been sharing my house earlier so I am comfortable with how it works. I am neat and keep my space tidy. Feel free to ping me if you need more information.
Im new to Brisbane and currently studying business/communications while working part time! Im a super clean person and respectful of peoples personal space & property. In my spare time I love to cook, travel or just relax. Ideally I would like to live with people who are fun, easy going and love to socialise wether thats grabbing a few drinks or going out for breakfast - basically someone I can become friends with rather than just someone to live with. I am open to living in any suburb as long as its not far away from the city. I don't have a date that I need to be out of my current place and Im not in a rush either so ignore the moving date.
I am very easy going, Im fun and friendly, but also keep to myself. I keep an active social life and like to go out lots during the day. Vegan, so my cooking is plain and I can keep a kitchen clean.
Hi! My names Bella, I'm a full time student at UQ with a part time job in Cash management ( full time on the uni holidays). Not fussy with roommates, just as looking for a social house where privacy is respected! I'm into gym, which makes for a busy life with work and uni but I'm always down for a drink and relax on the weekend. Just message me if you have any questions or if you want to know more!
I always pay my bills and rent on time! If anything makes me tick it’s noise when I’m trying to sleep. I am very sociable and hang out with friends often, I can entertain myself, I like dinners/movies/dancing/walking/gym etc friendly, happy, outgoing and fun. Pretty simple really! Easily pleased just hate noisey houses and neighbours :) Don’t mind sharing with More thann one other person as long as we are not all sharing one bathroom! Feel free to get a reference from a chick I lived with in WA. I lived in her home owned apartment for over 2 years and I’m pretty sure she will have nice things to say :)
Hi, I’ve just moved to Brisbane and I’m working full time in the city. Ideally I’d like a place that’s furnished within 10kms of the CBD. I am very quiet during the week and like to head down the beach on weekends.
We are a young, ckean and quiet working/non working couple with a 9 year old Shihtzu named Weenie. Jem works full time in Woolloongabba designing NBN whilst currently Cam is unemployed but actively seeking work driving Trucks or warehousing as preference but will accept other work if suitable. We rarely drink but on the rare occasion will share a drink in celebration or catch ups with friends. We both share the same passion for 4x4 and camping with weenie tagging along as much as possible. Weenie is 9 year old shihtzu sho is flea and worm free. He lives a cuddle and pat but for the most part sticks by Jem. We are both clean and tidy people who dont mind chipping in on a Sunday to clean up ready for the new week. Jem likes to cook and doesn't mind have a weekly meal together as house mates. We cant wait yo meet you and find our next adventure :)
G'day guys, I'm a 31 year old single Australian non-smoker, working full-time in the digital team at Flight Centre. When I'm not destroying my liver at work's rooftop bar, I spend most of my weekends out and about exploring what nature has to offer! Love surfing, camping, and generally anything that'll add a glow to my English inherited skin tone. That said, the odd TV series binge isn't out of the question. Down? Most people would describe me as very cruisey, and always up for a laugh. My humour would be best described as a mix between The Betoota Advocate and Happy Gilmore. Should also probably mention that I'm a tragic Broncos fan and I cried after the 2015 grand final. Cheers, Matt
Hey I'm Dana (Australian), myself and my partner, Christian (Japanese/Australian), are looking to move from Cairns to Brisbane sometime in September-October. We are moving down because I have enrolled into Uni for February 2019, I enrolled into SAE institute to study Film. I would love to live with students from the same university or people who have interests in art, music, acting, games, anime, film, television and media. We both play video games, my partner plays online with his friends and tends to get a bit excited. He may get loud, if he does just let us know. We're polite and friendly, we don't know anyone in Brisbane so we're keen on meeting new people. We are relatively organised and are clean and tidy. I have my own car but will most likely use public transport as it'll probably be cheaper with these rising fuel prices lol. But if there is a place for me to park it that would be ideal. I'm not too sure whether we'd be able to meet up to look at properties since we're in Cairns, but I'm sure we'll figure something out when that time comes! We do need at least 4 weeks notice before we move out, for the current share house we are staying at.
Very easy going and considerate couple. I (Thom) am on a Working Holiday from the UK and Izzy has lived in Brisbane for most of her life. Looking for a friendly environment to move to in the next few weeks! :)
Hi, I´m Andy :D I am 18 and from Ecuador, have been in Brisbane for a mont. I came here to study for a year 3D Animation. So I´m planning to move near from my university because where I´m living at the moment is far away. So while i´m here in Brisbane i want to study to get my diploma, also improve my level of speaking english and make new friends to hang out, spent time with. I don't mind sharing a bathroom with another person, provided they're clean. I a sociable person, very smiley, nice, calm, open-minded and reliable. I love people, partying, going to a walk in the city and everything. Love electronic music, going to raves or music festivals. However, I also need my time to recharge and relax. That's why I will prefer to have my own private room. I like the concept of an international shared house, with at least 2, 3 or 4 more people. Also interested in teaming-up.
I'm Dave 30 year old from Scotland Edinburgh recently new to brisbane and looking for a place to call home. I am a heavy diesel mechanic and sometimes work long days during the week so i like to chill out or go out and see new places when not working to make the most of my days off. I like to think I'm pretty social although i dont know many people here in brisbane yet as recently just decided to stay here so would be welcoming to having dinner together or the odd social drink here and there to meet new people and keep a positive vibe in the home
Hi, I'm from Chile and I'm looking for accommodation to study and work in Brisbane. I am nice , respectful, clean and social and I really like to do outdoor sports. I travel because I like to know new places and make new friends and experiences from different cultures. Looking for something short term or possibly longer.

Hi everyone! I’m from Peru and I’ve been in Australia for 2 years. I consider myself to be pretty chill, always up for a good convo and also respectful of others’ personal space. I work almost every day in the morning/afternoon. And of course, I’m absolutely willing to share my culture with everyone.
Hi all! I am a 19 year old who loves her sport and catching up with friends. I work full time over in wynnum and play netball throughout the week so I am rarely home. I’m tidy and respectful of common areas. I’m always up for a chat but understand the importance of our own space. My current room mate is moving out a the end of our lease in september so I am open to someone signing on with me or moving out all together to another location. I have a lot of the basic furniture so somewhere unfurnished would be more ideal! I look forward to hearing from you. :-)
