Mel works part time as a health professional and is a part time post grad student. Xave is working part time in retail and about to start an apprenticeship trade. We are both social, active people who love being outdoors whether it's hiking, camping or exploring waterfalls! We are an easy going couple who have lived in several places with housemates previously. We promise as new housemates to woe you with our cooking skills and great dad jokes ;)
I’m a 26 year old retail manager - looking to downsize from my own apartment in June. I’m easy to get along with, very tidy, appreciate socialising - but also like and respect privacy and personal down time. I spend my spare time reading, or creating art, when I’m not binge watching Netflix or Stan. Looking to find a reasonably priced room in a friendly sharehouse, to minimalise my expenses in preparation for travel!
I am a PhD student in QUT from Malaysia, conducting allergy research in QCH. I will be graduating in 6 months and will be looking for a job then. I'm passionate about technology, video games and football (or soccer as the locals call it). I am a generally clean and tidy person, happy to socialize especially on weekends but respectful of others private space and time. I am also looking to settle down in Brisbane so happy to stay long term and also make friends for the long term.
I’m a Laser technician, with a active lifestyle, social however like my down time, enjoy coffee, dancing, Beach adventures, I’m a bit of a gypsy like to move around, Brisbane is my newest adventure. Looking for a like minded house mate, clean and tidy.
Hi there, a little bit about me: I tend to be quiet at all times and respect others privacy, don't mind being social at all. I am studying an apprenticeship to become a mechanic and I'm working in a company that serves events around Brisbane. I look for a quiet place where to relax and have a great sleep after work/class. Non-drinker (well rarely), non-smoker (and prefer to live in a smoke-free house). In my free time, I usually read a book, go to meet friends and/or do some sort of exercise. Lately, I have been investing my time practicing yoga and Jiu-jitsu or running. I prefer houses that have dogs instead of cats as pets. Feel free to message me if you have a good room to rent.
Hey there, I am a determined and focused 20 year old. I study a Bachelors of Fashion Design and work part-time at JB Hi-Fi as a sales assistant :) I have a very healthy lifestyle and enjoy spending time with friends, going for drinks, and going to music gigs and festivals when I can.
Hello potential roomies, I’m a 29 year old female Canadian in Brisbane on a working holiday. Planning on staying in Brissie for 6 months, perhaps longer. Would love to find roomies that want to socialize, perhaps who are also into outdoor activities. I’m always down for an adventure! At home, I enjoy chill times but also hangs with bevies. Like to cook and bake too. Feel free to message me if you think we’d jive. :)

I am easy going, I like to have fun and socialise. I am clean, considerate and quiet. I enjoy music, travel, art and plants. I work full time at a plant nursery on the Northside, which I love! I grew up in Shorncliffe and my parents still live in the area.. I’m keen to live in a sharehouse with relaxed vibes and people. Make new friends and go about the days with little drama. I keep it chill on school nights. Weekends I’m out and about and usually find myself at a gig or two. While I enjoy my own space, I’m also down for chats with a vino :)

Full-time student working part-time at Coles. Big sports fan and do a lot of rock climbing in my spare time not big on clubbing but enjoy drinks at home. Clean and respectable.
Hi thanks for giving me a chance to introduce myself. I'm a QUT student studying to become a psychologist 1. I always pay our rent on time and have stable income, can show bank statement on request 2. I am friendly and sociable, tho most of the time I will be studying and working so I will keep to myself 3. I am clean and tidy, I always remember to clean up after myself 4. I don't smoke or party. I am not loud Thank you:)
Hi :D I'm after anything from a room in student accom. or a granny-flat sort of set-up (i.e. something a bit more secluded) to a room in a big share-house, but ideally I'd prefer something a bit more social (and a bit less expensive :P ) with like-minded, chilled-out people also in their 20-30's. I do contracting work through my own ABN as an electrical draftsman as well as run a small eBay business - so luckily I get to work from home (at least as much as possible). I like to spend my spare-time binge-watching TV shows (Black Mirror, GoT, Westworld etc.) or tinkering with various tech, e.g. fixing up old laptops or creating Frankenstein phones out of multiple old\broken ones lying around. I always enjoy going out for drinks now & then, but always prefer when there's a good band playing. I have been studying Psychology at UQ (St Lucia) but am currently taking a break from my degree, so have opted to fill that gap by educating myself in tech-related topics to help out my small business as well as taking the time to write music whenever I get the chance.
Hardworking and friendly. Enjoy keeping busy and staying active. Would make a good housemate because I’m a clean and tidy person who will pay rent and bills on time. I like to keep to myself during down time but also don’t mind the occasional social drink. Hoping to find a warm cosy place to stay that can offer laid back atmosphere as well the convenience of local shops and public transport :)
Very easy to get along with. I am clean and very considerate. I am not a smoker but don't mind if others are (I quit years ago). Don't mind the odd drink or two, and can be quite chatty at times. The odd game of pool at the Paddo would go well also...depending on how close your place is to it. A good cook, and I leave the kitchen clean. That also applies to bathroom, toilet etc. I do contribute to general household items such as cleaning stuff, blown light bulbs etc, usually without even being asked. I am not very not tolerant of hard drugs or serious drug dealers / users - I don't mean the odd puff or two - but If you are into meth or similar please don't contact me... At the present time I am trying to get started on my PhD, and tutor in mathematics on the side. I look forward to meeting you. regards, David.
Hey there I'm Stephmo (they/them pronouns). My housemate, Kavita, and I are moving to a bigger, better place to start a new sharehouse! (Current lease is up in the start of June). We are looking for one or two other people who wish to join us on this adventure to find a sweet new pad. Looking quite strictly in these areas: Kangaroo Point, West End, East Brisbane, Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, New Farm. I have a rescue dog, Jedda. She has issues with other animals so will have to be the solo doggo at this house. (Housemates will need to be onboard with having her around the house and preferably up for cuddles, often). We have basic house furniture and appliances including fridge and washing machine but happy for more to be brought along and we can make it work! Maintaining an eco-friendly household is essential (if you aren't interested in at least basic recycling, then this won't work). About me: Queer, non-binary, feminist, pro-choice, anti-racist, lefty. I'm an adult who is pretty good at adulting, even though it's hard. I can do the things, pay the bills, keep the cleans, you know the deal. I have an all-too-real phobia of dirty tea-towels and sponges. I built a campervan last year and dream of living in a bus one day. Camping trips & outdoor adventures are life. About Kavita: Kavita | She/Her/Hers A PhD-er, focussed on smart cities, gender and social justice, whose dream is to be colocated to the QUT Gardens-Point campus. Her weekdays are uni-intensive and weekends are magical adventures. She: makes the occasional cake and curry for 'family' dinners. Likes to secretly do too much---gigs, climbs, poetry, meals, board games, hikes, beach, Brooklyn 99, bendy yoga, Handmaid's Tale, quiet lay-ins, tarot... We are both clean and tidy and want to live with people who prioritise this in the communal areas. I will remain 100% responsible for dog related things, aside from the aforementioned Jedda cuddles which are available 24/7. Kavita and I do enjoy our own space at times but keen for making real friendships with housemates who enjoy chats and the occasional drink/meal together! We both enjoy a quiet, peaceful household - definitely not a party place! If you think you'd be the right fit, send us a message!
