Hi all, Myself and Phil (https://flatmates.com.au/F2403740) are looking to move around 18-24 Jan 2019 and are looking for a 3rd person to start a lease together. We're looking within approx 5-8km of the CBD on the south side of the river i.e. Coorpooroo, Norman Park, East Brisbane etc I've got a fridge, sofabed/couch, bookshelf and a couple other shelves, but other than that, we'd need to get some furniture. Ideally we'd be looking at a house or townhouse with garaged parking and storage. I am very neat and tidy and prefer to live with people who clean up after themselves and have pride in their living space. I work as an Accountant, however am still studying and enjoy a variety of outdoor pursuits such as running, bushwalks, scuba diving etc. I'm well past the party stage, however happy to have some company and share a glass of wine / cheeseboard on occasion. If this sounds like someone you'd like to live with, please get in touch. Cheers!
Hey! I'm an Irish doctor looking to share a place with one or two easy-going people. I'm moving from Perth to Brisbane in late January as part of my training, and I would love to have something organized before then! I would prefer a house rather than an apartment if possible, and need parking. Ideally I would like to have air-con in the bedroom and my own bathroom as well, but I'm not too fussy about these. Let me know if you're looking for something similar!
I am somewhat social but also enjoy my own chill time. Happy to clean and share household duties around.
I am a young woman from the Sunshine Coast just entering the creative workforce. I love drawing, watching movies, drinking coffee at hipster cafes while I draw and/or read great stories and generally chilling. I can be a bit of an introvert but can become quite outgoing once I’ve got to know you. I am very focused on my career right now and intend to put a lot of time towards that even when I’m home. Even so, I love a good movie night and am looking forward to having a great time in Brisbane.
Currently I spend my time working on a volunteer and casual basis at a charity shop, while also looking for more consistent work. But in between that, I like to draw and play video games. Most people who know me would describe me and quiet, but once I get to know people I love to chat and chill out. I'm looking for a room to rent, anywhere around the Brisbane City area really, hopefully sharing a house/apartment/whatever it may be with other females around my age (24) with similar interests or just a similar open mindedness to myself.
I'm studying at QUT doing technical production. I work as a barista. I like to go to nice bars and gigs in the city every now and then, I also dabble in guitar and listen to the odd record. I am looking for a chilled group of people around a similar age to move in with who also enjoy similar activities and wouldn't mind guests over every so often :)
I am a student at Griffith University looking to move out with an exchange student from Griffith. I have been living in student accomodation for the last 2 years and I am looking for a share house. We are clean, outgoing and always pay rent on time.
I have recently moved from Melbourne to Brisbane, I work full time in the community services sector, I’m very easy going, responsible I have rented on my own for the past 3 years so I know the importance of paying bills and rent on time. I don’t sweat the little things, I am very sociable and enjoy a quiet drink on occasions however not looking for a party house during the week as I am very career focused, I am hoping to share with people who are like minded. I do have a Labrador (Dallas) who will be moving with me so any shared arrangements would have to include him, hes very well behaved, gets along with all dogs, doesn't bark and is toilet trained.
I study full time and work 2 jobs so I won't be home a lot. I'm clean, and also super chill and down for drinks or whatever.
Hi! Hope you're having a great day. I'm a 29 year old Dutchie who's been in Aus for about two years now and I am looking for a share house in a central location in Brisbane. Was looking to move halfway February as I will start my new job (within the same company) then, but am flexible with the moving date. I've lived together with housemates for about 6 years now and would describe myself as an easy going happy housemate who loves to socialise but is also able to entertain herself. I'm clean and quiet, and sleep with earplugs so nothing other than my alarm wakes me up. When I'm not working, I love to cook, have drinks and good talks with friends (or housemates!) and go on hikes and explore. I have a very kind and well mannered cat who I'm looking to take with me. He's an outside cat and he sleeps in my room at night. Think I could be your next housemate? Message me, I'd love to hear more! :)
Hey! I’m Ned, a down to earth, easy going, open minded guy. I work full time from monday to friday, and try to stay fit in the afternoons. Fairly routine orientated during the week but on weekends you can usually find me riding, hiking, enjoying a drink or just straight up relaxing. Slightly introverted but don’t mind partying every now and then. Originally from Coffs Harbour, I’ve been in Brisbane for roughly 1 year now. I’ve been told that I’m pretty cruisy to live with, I always clean up after myself and pull my weight around the place. My only major requirement is somewhere under cover to park my road bike such as a garage, carport, etc. I’m currently living with two friends, but they have both just recently acquired love interests who are here a lot and the place is becoming cramped. Just chasing a change and bit more space really. Cheers!
Born and raised in Brissie. Like to travel, play music, cook at home and build/fix things (like furniture and that). When I'm at home I usually just chill out and maybe play some guitar. Otherwise I'll been out and about working (Chef or builder/painter), catching up with mates, seeing movies, checking out restaurants, flying somewhere for a couple days or just running errands. Looking for a place for at least 12 months if possible and to move in late Feb/ early March
Clean. Friendly. I cook delicious food. Work full time so I'm only home mornings, evenings and weekends. Vegetarian. Enjoy TV shows, movies and books. Have a fairly new car so would prefer off street parking Love pets but don't have to have one of my own.
Couple guys looking to stick to the inner city suburbs. We get along with pretty much anyone we meet. I tend to be the guy that supplies the entertainment as far as movies, music and games go. Making sure the house is well established as a comfortably convenient and relaxed environment. We’re both up for a chat as well as enjoy our space. Peter currently enjoys my movie collection which can save anyone a bundle on any movie and music subscriptions you may have. We don’t mind a few drinks. I like to hit the city and check out a gig here and there and in my spare time keep up to date with all things gaming and Dragonball related. Tend to do a bit of writing as well. Clean and tidy; good standard of human living. We love to cook and try new flavours. Not afraid to laugh at ourselves. We enjoy our freedoms and want others to as well. I take up work from Airtasker as well as volunteer in the kitchen and laundry at a homeless men’s hostel. Peter is employed full-time at Boulevarde Gardens, maintaining their 5x🌟 standards of beauty. If there’s anything I haven’t thought of, shoot it my way 😁 before I turn this into a eHarmony spiel.
Originally from Wales, UK. Moved to Oz over 5 years ago. Moving interstate from Dubbo NSW to the Brisbane area. I will have little furniture so would be nice to find something furnished, however i can organise my own bed and furnishings if needs be. Unfortunately i won't be walking in to a job when i move HOWEVER please do not let this put you off as I will be able to support myself and to pay the rent until i do get employment once i have moved to the area. I have 1 female desexed Husky called Xena. She is very friendly with people but takes a while to warm to other dogs. I rescued her from a shelter so i am not sure of her history. She is house trained. I can have a good time when the mood suits, but i also respect everyone's privacy and hope you would do the same. I am social and enjoy hanging out with other like minded people. I can be spontaneous! Would be great to have a good group in a house where we can grow to be mates instead of just sharing a home. The odd adventure away together or night out etc.
Full time Mechanical Engineer originally from Sydney. Throughout the week I'm busy working, doing chores and relaxing in between. I currently work afternoon shift (1-10pm) and will be out of the house weekday evenings. On the weekends I enjoy exploring new places, snorkeling, a good book, tinkering in the garage and of coarse a couple of beverages! I'm commonly flying down to Sydney to visit family and friends, so for the most part I'm out of the house. I'm very easy to live with, tidy, respectful, not a weirdo, and happy to contribute to household chores. I'm very personable and love a good chat but also respect boundaries and like quite time on my own. Non-smoker. Looking for a new place as my current place has sold to new landlords who will be moving in. Lease ends at the end of March or 2 weeks notice if I find the right place. Ideally I would like a place with garage space for storage and tinkering.
Hello there! Here are a few quick points about me: • I will be working at the University of Queensland as a researcher/postdoc. • I work about 6 days a week • I have lived in shared houses most of my life in both the UK and Germany • Not much of a party animal, more into good wine, good food and an interesting conversation • In terms of hobbies: I like chess and cycling and I plan to start going to the gym in a bit more regular basis. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for: • Shared accommodation with one-two more people. • a neat tidy and organized property. • I would prefer to live in a non-smoking property, as it would help with my efforts of quitting smoking. • I love animals, so living with pets is not an issue. • My ideal flatmates would be the kind of people that I could share a glass of wine with, would be easy going, tidy and have sense of humor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I am currently in the UK waiting for my visa confirmation, I will be looking for a videocall inspection so I can get a feeling for the property and we can see if we feel we would be a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad!
Hey there! I’m a super chilled and friendly gal, looking for a new place to call home. Preferably with a few others (or one other) around the same age. I am extremely clean, love my space looking tidy and homely, I work full time and am a mobile freelance makeup artist outside my 9-5 in retail so my income is very stable. I also spend a lot of my time away from the house (2-4 days a week) at my partners place so I won’t be around all the time, but when I am, I am friendly and social and tidy up after myself :) I don’t smoke, I have no pets and I am ready to move ASAP. Look forward to hearing from you.
I’m a quiet guy who will be moving up to Brisbane from Ballarat to study a masters of clinical philosophy and working every other minute. I enjoy working out, reading and playing with my pup Ellie who is an English Staffie and house trained (we’re a package deal). I have full furnishings for a house so if we need anything I’ve got us covered. What I’m looking for is a like minded, positive group of people who have a bedroom available that doesn’t face onto a busy street and has a secure back yard for Ellie. If you have any questions, ask!

Hi 👋 I work full time and study full time, and I’m looking for somewhere new to call home. I also have a 4 year old cat called Theo who will absolutely turn his back on me to be your best friend. I’ve been house sharing one way or another for the last 5 years so have the basic courtesies down pat. Work and uni keep me pretty busy and I’m a bit of a homebody, but like to get out on the weekend for the sake of my sanity.
