We're anti-social, intense, untidy and disrespectful of others we live with. No, seriously, we're just looking for a reasonable, down to earth place near a a train station for 3-6 months. We'll be working long hours Monday to Friday and out most weekends. We enjoy the company of our house mates, but if that's not your thing, fret not, we're also comfortable with being ships in the night. I'm into guitar (would love to live with someone who loves their music), sports and anything outdoors. My girlfriend enjoys cooking, photography and outdoors. We have a little pet bird (conure) with us, she's quiet and very entertaining. Her cage is small and we'd like to have her out once a day (within our room and supervised).
I am a normal Aussie guy who gets along with most people, young and old. I respect other people's privacy and property. I enjoy a quiet drink on occasion and as with most people I love to have a laugh. I can also adapt quite easily so if I live in a quiet house, I can respect other people's preferences.
My names Justice, I’m originally from Canada, but within the last four years have lived and worked in Melbourne and the United Kingdom. I have been working in the film industry for 13 years and am currently working for a film production company. Although my work in film and video is diverse, my specialty preference is music visuals and documentaries. I have work experience in all aspects of music video production, album promotions covering artists with Warner Brother Records, BBC Radio and Atlantic Records. My documentary experiences are focused on third world awareness. Covering refugee crisis’ in Africa, Asia, as well as across Europe documenting the Calais ‘J jungle’ in France has provided me with many opportunities to learn, grow and travel. Wether I’m on a music tour, or doing a documentary I have to be good at, not just tolerating, but enjoying the company of the people I’m living with. I’ve worked in 19 countries and 5 continents so I have learned to be flexible, adaptable and helpful in a wide spectrum of roommate arrangements. In Sydney I already have contract in place with TV channel and I will be working full time. I will be arriving in Sydney January 20th, so I won’t have and Australian number until then. As a person, I work a lot, I tend to be home late. I’m young in the industry but I work very hard to keep pushing myself, I’m hoping to stay in Sydney long term. I don’t drink or smoke, nor am I into the party scene. I’m really chill and I make friends easily.
Hey! My name is Emily I'm from Sydney but currently living in Glenhaven (near castle hill). I'm currently living at my boyfriends grandparents house and I'm super desperate to get out and live in a share house again! (Boyfriend wouldn't move with me) I work in a hair salon at knights bridge so I have weekly income as well as government payment so I won't miss a bill. I normally go out with friends for fun, attend gigs or play with make up and hair. I'm clean and clean up after myself, I'm friendly and always happy to meet new people. I respect people's privacy and don't get in their personal bubble. I also respect when people need their quiet time or are sleeping, I'm not a loud person.
Easy to get along with, down to earth, incredibly considerate and responsible. Work in the healthcare industry on the Northern Beaches. Enjoy an active lifestyle where home is mostly a sanctuary. Love music, a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner, the beach and time with family and friends!
Hi. My name is Luis. I'm 25. I currently work full-time in the construction industry. My generally work 6am - 6pm five days a week with the occasional Saturday.
I'm easygoing and friendly, but I respect other's space and privacy. I'm tidy, quiet and clean - and happily do my share of the house and garden chores. I'm looking for a peaceful, friendly house, maybe sharing a glass of wine, even a meal every now and then, but I don't want to live in a party house. I like to socialise with my housemates, but also like my own space. I watch the odd program on TV, but I'm not glued to it. Also, I'm a non-smoker and my preference is to live in a non-smoking house. I have two beautiful pets - a 5yr old border collie called Mr Finn who is super friendly (everyone that meets him falls in love with him!), well behaved and I keep him clean and well groomed. I also walk him at least 2 hours a day and take him sheepherding now and then (!) so he's quiet and relaxed when he's home. I also have a 7yr old cat called Kitwe (named after a small town in Zambia) who pretty much sleeps and eats and has a playtime every now and then. They are inside/outside pets, so they need to be allowed into the house. I'm currently working part time (online from home as a VA) and studying part time, as well as building my own business, so I will spend a fair amount of time doing my own thing. I'm looking for either a share house with only one or two other housemates, or a garden cottage/studio. I also need a garden that is fenced so my pets can spend time out there safely. I have great references, both in Australia and overseas. I've lived in my current place for 18 months, and previously in my own place for 5 years (overseas) and in Australia before that. I have shared before (I'm sharing now) and I'm still great friends with some of my ex house mates. I'm originally from the UK (a long time ago!), but I emigrated to Australia nearly 30 years ago, after spending many years mostly in South Africa. If you want to ask me any questions - send me a message and I'll reply as soon as I see it! Thanks!
I am single, quiet, hard working and not a party animal. I don't smoke and I am extremely respectful of other people's property. I enjoy staying fit and healthy and spending time with friends and family. I do have a 3.5 month old cat named Odin and was looking for a granny flat or studio to live in without a roommate as I'd prefer to live alone. I can afford $350 maximum. Please let me know if you have anything can may suit my description. Thank you
Im an aussie single girl, looking for shared accomodation. Prefer to live with people around the same age, who are easy going, get on well together and like to have a laugh every now and then. Im not really interested in living with families I like to relax at home with others or on my own, im down to earth and very easy going. i enjoy catching up with friends over coffee or the occasional drink. Im self reliant, i clean up after myself and have always payed rent on time.. Im an outdoor smoker I work full time during the week and work a 2nd job on weekends Happy to have a chat/meet. Feel free to get in contact
I have rented for the past 2 years I've been in Sydney with my boyfriend, we have rental references and are clean, respectful non smokers who (despite our age) are responsible in every aspect of rental living. My boyfriend and I both have full time jobs, Angus as a landscaper and myself as a childcare educator. I will be moving to Newcastle in late Feb to further my qualifications at Uni and Angus will be continuing stay at our new house share. Please don't let our age scare you off! :)
I love my fitness almost as much as I love ice cream. Love traveling and I'm very organised/clean. I have lived in Sydney for a year now and grew up on the Gold Coast. I was born in South Africa. I'm currently studying criminology & education at Macquarie university. I love everything marvel and I am a Michael Jackson fan. I think I'm very funny but my friends probably just laugh at me. I'm told I am passionate, caring and a good person. Or they just like my banana bread and they worry if they don't say that I won't make them any. I am Christian but I am open minded. I would never force my beliefs on anyone and I am a good listener. I don't mind drinking but I see it more like an opportunity to dance. I do love to dance (I think I'm great at that, most likely not though)
Hi, I'm from the Netherlands and I am coming to Australia for an internship of nursing. Because I'm working in shifts I like to live with someone who is considerate about this (of course I'll do the same for you!). I'm friendly, fun and good company! I love to eat and to socialize, so I will always be up for an nice evening of cooking and wine! But I'm also fine by watching some series in my room by my own. I've been to Sydney before but I would love to discover some new spots there!
Hi! I'm Kayesh, 25yrs old and moving interstate- to Sydney. I work full time for a Logistics company and will also be starting my postgrad at USYD. i love eating, travelling, meeting new people, i try to go gym but atm we are on a bit of a love hate relationship, i'm bit of a neat freak (sometimes), enjoy trying new things but i ain't too crazzy!. I am a future Masters by Research student at the Western Sydney University and looking for a nice place around Parramatta where my campus is. I am a calm and independent person. I keep to myself normally but do not mind socializing from time to time. :)
Hey I'm Julius! Recently moved up from Melbourne. Manager for Woolworths...generally involves working 12hr days so I wont be home much! Most of my family/friends live in Melbourne so I fly down there quite often too. I would describe myself as friendly, respectful and easygoing. I've had housemates in the past and have never had any issues. I'm clean, quite and considerate too! Not a big party person as I tend to be exhausted coming home. Although I will definitely pull my weight around the house in relation to chores!! Hopefully hear from you soon...
23yr old looking for a place to live, my current roommates are getting married so i need to find a new place. I work full-time and not home 4 days a week (mostly weekends). fun outgoing girl who loves to relax and spend time at the beach. looking for 1 year plus stay.
Hi! My name is Alex, and I'm a happy, fun and social person to be around! I'm currently studying my Masters of Teaching and have just completed my Bachelor of Music. I don't really like to party as such, but I do like spending time with friends and being outdoors. Send me a message if you're interested in having me in your home!
I am starting work in Pymble so looking for a room in surrounding areas. I am a quiet female who enjoys my own space and also likes to socialize with others. I am clean and respectful and am well organized and take pride in my surroundings. I will be working full time and will be away from the place for the majority of the day when my full time work starts. I am from Ireland and moved to Australia 5 years ago. I also have my own bedroom furniture which includes a queen bed and other furnishings so looking for an unfurnished room
Reason for the move: I'm going to be starting a new job in Pennant Hills on the construction of the underground tunnel in 4 weeks. I'm moving over from Perth. I have quite a bit of furniture. Big 65" TV, all bedroom furniture (queen size bed and 2x chest draws), few pots and pans etc. I have a car and will require a car space or street parking is fine (hopefully no added expense) About me: I'm 33, single, and work in the mines FIFO. I'm looking for a change and back into my career of digital records management. This happens to be in Sydney. I'm looking for a place that is neat and tidy. I don't drink, and am pescatarian. Love to cook. Enjoy going to the gym, keeping active and spending time at the beach. I also like to watch Netflix and chill on weekends. Not looking for a party share house although I do love to go out and watch live music and hit up gigs and pubs. I like drinking cups of tea and chilling out most nights. I'm living in a share house now (I'm the owner), I'm very respectful of rules and quirks of the household. I'm looking for a pet friendly house. The other housemate: I have a beautiful pug Bee Bee. He is 5yo and is very house trained. Pugs suffer in the heat so he would be an inside pooch for the most part, hope that is ok. Super friendly, great with kids and other animals. Can bring my own portable dog door so he can come and go in the house to outside. The dog is my responsibility and I take full care of him. He may greet you with unsuspecting slobbery and cuddles as he is a friendly little guy. I'm a pretty normal person moving over to start a new career for the next 2 years. If I sound like someone you might be able to live with hit me up :)
Hi, My name is Danni and I'm a 28 year old female. I am new to Sydney, after having spent nearly four years teaching over in London. I'm an easy going, friendly and tidy person looking for a house with similar people. I love days spent at the beach, being obsessed with a good Tv series and having a couple of social drinks from time to time.
Moving to Sydney for work. I'm tidy, reliable and a decent cook (if I do say so myself). Looking for housemates with an apartment or meeting other people who'd like to team-up to get an apartment. Guys/girls, it doesn't matter - as long as you're friendly and fun to live with.
First and foremost I'm neat and clean (phew). I'm an easygoing and chilled out person, personally don't drink and such but I'm completely open and accepting of everyone and all lifestyles. I'm a reader, a musician, dabble in writing and art, however am applying to study medicine. Grew up in a hippie area originally but live in Sydney now, studying and working at my university. Reliable and will always pay on-time. I also have a rabbit named Matisse but may be able to get a family member to look after him if the place does not allow pets. Looking for an LGBT+ friendly place/housemate (I have a girlfriend).
I am looking for some place where I can have a relaxing evening after a long day of work. Love cooking up dishes but have to admit not always the best. I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, even if its just within Sydney... there's always something to see! I like having a quiet night in and just relaxing with a good book or a movie! Not really a messy person! Would like to find a place with flatmates that are relaxed, respectful and Social.
I'm looking for a place the has shed space or carport for a car and motorcycle happy to start a share house I'm easy going do like a drink on the weekends after work I spend most of my time in the shed.
Hello! My name is Samantha and I am an Australian living in Sydney at the moment looking to move out. I have lived by myself before and look forward to meeting new people from different backgrounds, cultures and sexualities. Mind you if we're both Australian then there's nothing wrong with some snags on the barby! I am not a party animal and often I will either be working or studying at University. I am in the final years of my degree, looking to move out and spread my metaphorical wings. I come from a background of English and Spanish descendants and happy to help around the house and I am very respectful of other room mates. I am easy-going and friendly, although because I like to read I can be mistaken as being rather shy at times. I like to relax after work either with others or with a good book. I like to cook for others including myself and pride myself on cleaning up the kitchen afterwards. I think the housework chores ideally are taken on my everybody and I am not impartial to celebrating life special moments, for myself and others. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you're having a great day. See you soon, roommate!
Hi there, I currently live in Canberra but I work in Sydney. I will most likely travel to Sydney on Sunday afternoons and return to Canberra on Thursday evenings, but it will vary depending on my work schedule. Occasionally, I will spend the weekend in Sydney. I have lived in Sydney for the last 10 years in Toongabbie, Baulkham Hills and Wentworthville, however moved to Canberra for a more relaxed lifestyle. Currently looking for a place in Parramatta, the Hills district or Lane Cove areas. I enjoy gym, crossfit and squash. I play a little bit of guitar and piano in my spare time. Looking forward to hearing from you. Steve
We are two friends who are after two double rooms in the Hills district. We are an electrician and hairdresser into health and fitness who both work 5-6 day weeks and live busy lifestyles. We are mature, super friendly and easy going, reliable, punctual, tidy and highly respectful. Whilst we like time to ourselves, we are also up for chilling out casually, but will not throw parties. Hey guys, I'm looking for a place (with private bathroom only, no share pls ) in Epping/ Hornsby/ straithfield/ Eastwood or somewhere with a direct train to city.I am friendly, bubbly , easy-going and well-organized. Hope to find a place where roommates are nice, friendly and tidy. I'm also willing to team up with someone to take an apartment together :)
I am from Sydney, studying at uni (beginning third year) and working part-time. I am positive, flexible and understanding. If a problem arises we can sort it out. I take responsibilities seriously - I'll pull my weight. I am sporty, I love exercise and being fit but my passion is in sustainability and nature (yes I am a bit of a greeny but not an annoying one). The best part about me is probably that I love life, even in hard times I try to remain positive and I try to have that affect on the lives of those around me. For fun I spend time outdoors and doing the things that cost less but are more fun like movie and game nights.
I am about to start my new job with Sydney trains and I need to find temporary accommodation until I can find a place of my own, the job is full time and shift works so I would be in and out a fair bit at all hours. I can cook, clean and I am very independent.

On the weekends I am equally as likely to be at a party as I am snuggled on the couch with trashy reality TV and a glass of red wine! Oh, and you will rarely see a morning without a coffee in my hand.
