I'm a happy, positive person 😊 I love a good conversation and a laugh! I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people, exploring, and trying new things...easy going and have been singing blues since I was little!
I have recently moved back to Melbourne after working non-stop for the past few months, and am looking for a sharehouse in Melb. I spent 8 months here last year payin between $600-$1200 per week for serviced accomodation, so am looking at something different this year to enjoy financial freedom. I would love an apartment building that has a gym, and pool/tennis court as I love swimming and tennis. Alternatively, somewhere with a beach would be great too. I always clean up after myself straight after using the kitchen, and am friendly and easy going. I am starting my second university degree in March after completing my bachelor of accounting already.
Hey, I'm a 22 year old male student and I'm looking for a room to rent. I'm a friendly, laid back person and also very clean and tidy. Im moving to Melbourne from Brisbane to pursue my masters degree and am looking to rent a room. I love watching football, listening to music, reading and going out for drinks.
My name is Nicola. I'm currently looking for a place to live as my lease is expiring in the upcoming months. I'm a laid back easy going person. I work as a nurse full time with rotating shifts and like to get out and be social when I can. Looking for a relaxed place to call home with easy going people who also like living in a clean, respectful house. Love my downtime but would be great to live with other house mates who are up for a chat or hanging out over drinks every now and again.
Hi! I'm open minded and relaxed. Live and let live I say. You do you, I'll do me. I'm quite clean and a good cook when my budget allows. I've just finished a film and television degree at the VCA. The goal is to be a film maker. Most of my time is dedicated to this end. I like to keep to myself though will occasionally like to have a few friends over. I'm also not adverse to meeting and interacting with new people/ having strange people about. I've got a ferret which has made finding accommodation in the city a bit difficult. She mostly lives in her cage or my room. Her name is Lyra and she is very well behaved. She doesn't scratch walls or tear up carpet so aside from knocking over the odd glass she's quite harmless. She's also good with dogs (Knows to be wary of them) and gets on quite well with cats. She's a bit smelly but I spray her with a flowery coat deodorant to keep it under control. She sleeps about 20 hours out of the day so you normally don't even notice she's there. (We have that in common. hah!). If you have a spare and room and open to having a ferret around please message me because you are quite rare!
Hi guys! We are two Spanish girls from Colombia and Spain that need a new place to call home due to lease ending. We both are 24 y/o students working part-time as well. We consider ourselves open minded, easygoing and we really enjoy sharing time and space with our housemates! We can also cook you some traditional Spanish dishes :) We're able to move ASAP and at last before 7th February. We have a budget of $200 pw but we are willing to pay more for a really cool place. Preferably looking for furnished rooms but it's not a problem for us if they aren't. So if you have 2 single rooms or a one that can be shared don't hesitate to contact us ;) Thank you in advance!
Hi! ***Looking to move on the 20th of march*** Full time student from Argentina, doing a master of engineering at unimelb. I would like to share a house or apartment with likeminded people who are positive, friendly and enjoy each other's company. You won't have to worry about keeping the place clean and tidy. I suck at playing musical instruments, so I won't be making loud noises either. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Hey! Me and my boyfriend Rory are from country victoria wanting to move to the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We are both turning 20 this year. I will be studying nursing at ACU (and working) and my boyfriend will be working full-time. We both have savings behind us so paying rent on time etc will never be an issue :) We are both reliable, considerate, honest, and aware of the needs of others. We love to chat and share a meal from time-to-time but are also introverted and enjoy our alone time. Would love the chance to get to know you better and what you are looking for in a housemate! Cheers!
I'm Native Spanish speaker super easygoing clean, tidy and responsable with housework. No discrimination at all, pet friendly. Although, I'm not a smoker I don't have any problem about it, Enjoy share a meal, wine or beer every now and then, as well as hanging out or go for a party o just few drinks. Very good dancer specially at salsa and Latin rhythms 😏, so I'll be open for teaching either Spanish or a few salsa steps.✌️
I'm Kelly, I'm looking for a place that's close to public transport as I have Multiple Sclerosis (this explains "retired"). I pay my bills on time and clean and respectful of others. I can also come with a large fridge and/or front loader washer if it's needed. I'm a qualified hairdresser, love gardening and indoor plants, crafts, comics, gaming, and make a great granola. I love going to gigs but marathoning a series is not something I'm inexperienced in. Give me a bell if you are interested in me being your new housie, or want some more information.
Friendly, clean and respectable. Moving to Melbourne for work from Tassie - I'm a doctor and work every second weekend so not at home much but happy to relax and have a chat whenever I am around. I like running, yoga, gardening and reading in my free time. I also love travelling and trying new cuisines! Happy for you to have other ppl/friends around but not looking for a party house.
Im Isaac and I am engineering graduate. I have just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and im looking to relocate here permanently. Im easy going and like to have a drink and chat with my room mates, maybe the occasional dinner when we can. But also know when your own space is necessary. Have share housed for over five years so know the Do's and Don'ts. Cheers
Hi there! My name is Maria, I'm currently 19 and working full time in real estate. I'm looking for some people to share a apartment/house with (preferably with my own bathroom). I'm a very clean person and love coming home to a spotless house. I'm very quiet during the week as I work and gym and on the weekends I like to go out. Always down for a chat & a glass of wine but I will also respect your personal space. If you think I'd be a suitable fit for your place, please contact me!
Reluctantly moving as the owners are selling current place. Final year Media Comms major and work music/ hospo/ freelance on the side. Financially stable, into films, botany, good music, food, culture etc. Mostly busy and have my own things going on but I also enjoy having downtime with housemates/ having mates over to share food & vibes. I go interstate a few times a year sometimes for work/ to unwind/ suss gigs/ visit friends and fam. No stranger to share housing and would ideally like to live with like-minded people!
Looking for a pad in Fitzroy/Collingwood to share with some groovy individuals :) I love going to gigs etc on weekends, i'm always looking for something fun to do, but take it fairly easy during the week apart from impromptu dinner/drinks out somewhere.... plus I'm pretty clean :)
Studying vet science full time at Melb uni. Have been living in share houses for 6 years now and am pretty down to earth, easy going and very respectful. My uni schedule will keep me pretty busy and so will only be at home in the evenings and most weekends. While I will need to study, I would love to become friends with my housemates and hang out together such as a movie/wine night or a little trip to the pub. My current loves include cheese and wine. :)
I am originally from New Zealand but have spent the past 4 years in London. I have been in Melbourne 3 weeks and am planning on staying here for good - I work full-time as an Executive Assistant. I'm looking for a decent sized double room (furnished or unfurnished) in a house with no more than 3 people that feels like a home rather than a flat - aircon is a bonus but not absolutely essential. My interests include trying new restaurants/bars, working out at the gym, traveling to new places, socialising with friends, going to events, fashion/beauty and trashy reality tv now and again! I'm 50 / 50 - as I'm new to the city I'm looking for people who are keen to do something fun now and again or have a wine at home in front of the tv but on the same note I also like my independence and doing my own thing!
I am super easy going and love a wine or two with cheese, or without cheese! I love having a laugh making new friends and watching AFL, football (soccer), hockey and hockey to name a few! I love having a chat with my housemates after work and adventuring but also like my own space so I won't be to much in your way. I'm being transferred to Melbourne and my office is in Notting Hill so I'm looking about halfway between the CBD and there or a little bit closer than halfway.
I am a vibrant vegan gal with a passion for music, art, culture and the environment :) I'm always cleaning/decorating and spreading the positive vibes through the house with my contagious energy and excitement :D very easy going, friendly with good quality conversation/ connection.
Respectful of others privacy, but I never say no to a nice cold beer with a friend! Full time job in deer park, engineer. I like to travel and practice all sorts of sports.
I'm really easy going, love to be social but also respect others' space. I love music and on the weekends you'll probably find me at a local gig either reviewing for the magazine I work for, or just enjoying! I'm originally from Sydney but am so excited to finally be relocating to Melbourne.
Apologies, we don't have a nicer photo of the two of us haha. We are an Australian/French couple both 24 years old looking for our new home. We are looking for somewhere close or in the city (South Yarra, Carlton, North Melbs, that sorta distance) and near a train station. We're super chilled and love making good dinners with a few drinks and laughs to accompany. Travel is our number one favorite thing to do but for now we have chosen to settle in Melbourne for a while until our next adventure. If you have a nice big room available for us that would be awesome, must be clean as we are very clean people. We also are open minded and love all peopl. Shoot us a message asap as we are looking to move now. Thanks 😎
I'm pretty laid back but always up for a good time. Working full-time so tend to not be much of a partier during the week, but love a good night out on the weekends. I'm clean, respectful of other people and love trying to cook. Looking for flatmates I can be friends with and not just people I live with. Looking for a place with about 2-3 people. Flexible move in date
I am studying a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne. I like meeting new people and doing anything adventurous. Preferably I would like to live with other layed back friendly people, such as myself. I like to keep active and I also appreciate some time alone.
My name is Rebecca, just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane! Staying true to my Irish roots I like to work hard during the week and to hit the town at the weekends. Ideally would like to meet like-minded housemates. Love heading out, going for brunch, drinks, dinner, the cinema, and also love to go to the gym and keep fit! I'm fun, clean, respectful, well-mannered and all the rest. Basically I would like to meet some roommates who are mainly a laugh and would like to partake in the above activities with me! So if I sound like the roomie for you, drop me a message!
Hi, My name is Lindsay Scammell and I am a 21 (this year) year old, university student studying my second year of a double Bachelor of Applied Public Health/Global Studies at ACU. I love getting to know new people and hanging out with friends but value my own time as well. I am a generally easy going housemate, although I do like things being pretty clean and everyone doing their part and I love to cook! My hobbies include reading, gymming, playing and making music, writing, video games and talking all things Star Wars. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi hi, My name is Ash, I work full-time in the city, and am also a freelance graphic designer. Looking for a house for the long-term. I am very well house trained, appreciate a clean and tidy environment - love cooking and socialising but certainly appreciate chill time too. I come with two for the price of one - the second being my cat Willow. She is super placid, affectionate and just a overall big sook - and is wildly independent and low maintenance. Send me a message if you'd like to meet. Cheers, Ash
Hey! My name is Melita, I'm 22 years old and about to move down to study composing at the University of Melbourne. I am essentially the aloe vera plant of housemates - zero drama. So if you're looking for someone who pays the bills on time but is also a good ear and a solid friend, swing me a message. I love: writing music for film, going to gigs, steamed pork buns, playing guitar, getting lost in books, cheeky beers, new stationary, earl grey tea, midnight maccas runs, people who are unapologetically themselves. (Don't worry I write music electronically, so you won't have to listen to my B grade piano playing haha). Not too fussed about: country music. I'm looking for a homely, relaxed place to live and make some quality friends, so if you think I'd suit your vibe, please let me know ;)
I work full time in St Kilda Road so the week days are always busy. Down to earth, reliable, tidy, fun person. Enjoy, excercising, sights, new scenes, food, art, music and am always down for a good conversation.

One Irish and one Irish- Australian looking to team up with some like-minded people to look for a share house. Interested in travelling, literature, left-wing activism and of course music! I stole all my dad's old cds when I was a kid so that means I primarily listen to 70s and 80s rock and new wave - but open to new recommendations haha! Very used to living in sharehouses in Dublin, happy to give people space but also more than happy to have the chats with fellow housemates over a glass of wine or two! We'd like to houseshare for at least the first few months in our new city as we are keen on meeting new people.
Im very easy going, immaculate, social but also appreciate we need our own space. Honest and trustworthy. Looking to move around late Feb, min 3 mths as Im trying to establish a small business, which Melb is a good base for, but want to move to QLD ... decisions, decisions haha.
Hi there, I'm Ursula, german and studying in Melbourne Beauty Therapy for 1 year. I'm looking for a nice, quiet and clean home in a central part of Melbourne from 21/07/2017. I'm not a party animal and would be glad to find someone who like it quiet, too. I like reading, cycling, hiking, good food, a good glas of wine and I'm always open for a good talk. The place must be furnished and I would be happy to have a shelter for my bicycle. Look forward to hearing from you!

My name is Georgia, I am 22 and I'm British. I adore exploring and experiencing new places, which stemmed from living in Toronto a few years back. I promise to do my own dishes, and always clean up after myself. I'm down to earth, and I'm pretty organised, very easy to get along with too. I love going to new pubs/restaurants and while I am a vegetarian I'm not a strict one. I have a great sense of humour and love meeting new people, reading, wine and lollies, socialising (but I do also appreciate my own space), chilling out, and anything that's a new experience. My name’s Matt and I’m from Toronto, Canada, and am in Melbourne on a working holiday. I’m a 24-year-old writer who has worked this past year in communications at a nonprofit, and will be writing part-time remotely in Australia. I spend my days off exploring Melbourne, especially the arts scene here, whether it be live music, comedy, theatre etc. I’m a clean, considerate and easy-going roommate and love meeting new people. I’m no party-head, but definitely like to go out and am open to different events/experiences. I’m also a passionate drummer, having studied and played music in multiple styles and projects over the last few years. During my stay in Melbourne, I want to connect with like-minded musicians, get a busking license, and perform as much as I can! I love the outdoors and enjoy being spontaneous as much as I enjoy making detailed plans. That’s a little about me! I can commit to a five-month minimum stay (until end of June, or later). - Matt
Hi there, my name is Paulina. I'm 24 yo Polish, arrived to Melbourne 2 months ago. As my sublet is coming to an end with the end Of January I'm looking for a private room. I'd like to stay in the northern suburbs but I'm not really fussy about that. The place should be only more or less convenient with walking distance to tram or train as I work in the cbd. I recently completed studies in Economics, but don't worry! I'm not that boring as it seems assuming by the degree above. I'm pretty laid back, sociable, happy to give you a chance to enjoy your own company. I love music and everything what is related to that. I'm also pretty decent cook, willing to contribute to keep the house tidy. I'm often out if not working but always keen to share a meal or grab a beer if such opportunity shows up. If it seems like we might get along well feel free to ask my any questions and possibly set a meeting. Thanks :)
I am a very happy person, I like to be social and talk but can also be quiet and keep to myself. I can be very busy sometimes it varies on my work and study. I like to keep clean and tidy I don't mind shared responsibilities. Very respectful and Love animals if any.
Hi everyone, This is Ali. I teach International Business at RMIT University and also do research. During the last 7 years, I've been living in various share houses with people coming from different backgrounds among different ages and I'm familiar with sharehouse lifestyle. I do exercise regularly, it's been a while I do yoga, Tai Chi, walking and also swimming. I do like cooking and prefer to cook at home and would be happy to share a weekly meal with my future housemates. I prefer to live with people who care about keeping the place clean and I'm happpy to do so. I'm not only looking for a bedroom but also for people who like to communicate in their free time. Please contact me if you think we can get along.

Hey all!! I am a 25 year old Spanish girl looking for a nice place to stay in Melbourne during the next 3, potencially 6, months. I am an easy going person, always full of energy and keen to try new things. I am biologist, so an absolute lover of animals and nature, so if you have pets in your house I will love them! ( but if is not the case no worries, I dont pretend to take any animal into the house). Independent but also very social, I love reading, movies and sharing time with my housemates but also any activity outdoors. As I always say, best impressions are the face to face ones. So if you really want to know me lets meet in person! :)
I'm Hannah, a 27 year old primary teacher from the UK. I'm going to be working as a supply teacher/tutor in Melbourne, and I'm here on a working holiday until November. Although who knows how long I'll end up staying, as Melbourne is very much feeling like home. I'm friendly, easy going and genuine. I'm also very clean and respectful of other people's space. I am actually clean to the point of buying rubber gloves is a bit of a treat, so I can clean effectively. If I have the odd day off, you will probably see me embracing my inner 50s housewife and cleaning/baking. I love live music, binge watching English comedies (Peep Show being a consistent favourite, even though I've seen it maybe 100 million times), seeing new places, walks in the countryside and going on nights out. I'm into yoga, dancing and going to the gym... Oh, and watching the English Premier League. I also like eating. A lot. I'm looking for a home where I can make friends as well as flatmates, where we can chill watching movies or head out for some drinks/dancing, head to the cinema or the beach- the usual really. If you've got a room that sounds like it might be right, I'd love to hear about it.
Chinese, easy going person! Student and a good person to have a beer talking about many things. I want to increase my english language and know other cultures. by the way. i will study in Le corden blue and l really love cooking and music.
I am a sociable guy love to laugh and make others laugh. I am very clean and love to collaborate in home works. I love pets, bbq, chilling out. I respect people's privacy and look for people on my side.
My mother has 9 siblings and I grew up in the house of my grandparents. I balance to enjoy the time with other people and appreciate the solitude. I love to cook Central Asian or European meals and share the supper with my housemates from time to time.
We are laid back friendly couple, super neat and tidy and have no problem in paying the bills on time! We come from Wales in the United Kingdom and just travelled around Asia for 3 months which was pretty awesome!! Currently trying to find a flat in Melbourne to continue our travels in the future. We love to cook, take photos, read and enjoy walking! We aren’t shy of having a few drinks too!
Hi, I’m Edwina. I’m a happily single 32 year old who is looking for a place close to the city as I work at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, so would love to have a short commute; being close to public transport, preferably a train station, is a must for me. I have been living in Windsor for the past 5 or 6 years with my sister, but she has decided to move out with her boyfriend and I decided I want a change of scenery as well. I have made my rent budget $200 p/w but could possibly go up to $240 if I really loved the place, the people in it and it checked all the boxes. I am a neat and clean person who likes to have an organised but relaxed home. I am respectful of other people’s privacy and space because I expect the same thing. I am easy going and relatively introverted and am pretty much a homebody, but do enjoy a good laugh and being around fun loving and positive people, so would be up for a pub meal or a picnic in a park or a movie/live show. I can never really be bothered cooking fancy things but I do love to bake, and more importantly eating whatever I bake. Other than my love for cake, I am pretty healthy and fit. I like to work out most days and do a circus class once a week; in my spare time you can probably find me standing on my hands. I am looking for something long term, in a place where I can feel at home.
Hello, I'm Elliot from Vaxholm, Sweden. Vaxholm is a lil Island just outside of Stockholm. Archipelago guy, love fishing and water sports. I'm a Sociable guy and It's cool if you have pets, I love dogs. I do enjoy the occasional beer and love Sporting and run a lot. I make great Mojitos too, they're top notch. Saved up a bunch of Money so can pay in advance if wanted.
Helloooo! My name is Abi, I'm a 22yr old American girl and I'm currently looking for casual work in the Melbourne area. I plan on studying Screen and Media at VU in footscray starting this February. I'm currently staying in a share house in Sunbury with two other people, but our lease is ending soon. I don't have a license so I am hoping to find something close to public transport. I am a very clean person, very open-minded, I know when to keep to myself but I do love to socialize and get to know people. My computer is my pride and joy and I do spend a lot of time on it, so you won't have to worry about me throwing crazy-ass parties, though I'm fine with an occasional one. I am animal friendly, I love to cook, can sleep through basically any kind of noise, love to hear stories and get to know people, hugely into music and gaming, and have worked in the hospo industry for about 3 years. Though I am currently in between jobs, I do have money saved up and am on Centrelink so Im always good for rent. I'm currently looking for something at $180 pw max while I am still job hunting. I am not very picky on room size as long as a bed, clothes and computer will fit. I'm also very willing to get together with people to try to form a new share house so if you are interested let me know! If there is anything you'd like to know more about or any questions, feel free to email or text me. Kind regards! Abi
