G'day! I'm a 24 year old guy working full-time in a media role with the St Kilda Football Club. Love talking sport, but also love heading out to gigs, exploring new places and keeping fit as well. Ready to move in now, but can be flexible with the move in date. I'm outgoing, easy to get along with and love to get out and socialise. While my job takes up a lot of my time, always happy to have a chat and grab a drink/or coffee together whenever i'm free. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of space.
Where to start I'm a easy going guy, own my own electrical sub contracting business that i've been on a break from for the last year. Currently living in Mackay QLD which is my home town and looking forward to moving back to melbourne soon. I play guitar and didgeridoo every now and then. I do yoga, go to the gym, becoming a vegetarian and consider myself to be a spiritual open minded sort of person (sort of an omnists). I keep to myself most of the time but would enjoy socialising with house mates if thats what you're into. I don't really watch TV or sports (trying to get into AFL) would prefer to go see a band. I dont mind the occasional beer or glass of red. **** I will need a off street garage or at least car park for my work ute and preferably have some garage type storage **** thanks for reading :)
I'm a 18yrs old Japanese student who is intending to study commerce in UniMelb next year. I have been a homestay student in Adelaide for 2.5 years, so I'm a cooperative and independent person. People often give compliments to me saying I smile a lot:) I would like to find 1. a private room 2. walking distance from UniMelb Parkville campus 3. in a female only house
Hi all, I’m Rachael, 26 years old from the U.K. I’m arriving in Melbourne on 6th November and have a working holiday visa, but planning to be based in Melbourne for the whole year. Would be looking to find a furnished room in a friendly house share soon after arriving. I’m a History teacher here in England and am all registered with a teaching agency in Melbourne should something suitable come up for the new academic year. Either way, I’ll definitely be looking for a job once I arrive but have plenty of savings in the meantime so rent and bills won’t be a problem. I like to keep active by playing netball, going to the gym, for walks etc and am generally a chilled, considerate person but also friendly/bubbly and always keen for a chat. Love a good brunch and coffee too! Have lived in house shares all during my time at uni so got plenty of experience with that. If you want to know anymore, just drop me a message and look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Rach :)
Recently moved from Brisbane to Melbourne. I have been living in Fitzroy for the past few months but unfortunately my lease will be up at the start of Dec so looking to try a new area of Melbourne. Have always lived with flatmates so I'm pretty easy to get along with. Work hard/gym during the week and then like to socialise on weekends but not into partying much these days. Love a good brunch! Prefer to live with people who like to keep common areas clean & tidy. Would also love to have my own bathroom if possible :)
Hey I'm Jess I'm a psychology graduate living in Melbourne, currently working at a cafe in the CBD. I'm English and have lived in and out of Melbourne since 2014. I'm friendly and outgoing whilst also being clean and tidy. I love going out for dinner and to bars with friends keeping it humble during the week and going out / doing things on the weekend !
Hello, I'm Riley, a 31 year old originally from NZ but have been living all over the world for the last 10 years. (London, Ibiza, Thailand, NZ and here in Aus). I work as a Sales Team Leader in the financial industry and work until 8pm+ Mon - Fri. I like to cook good food and enjoy a few beers at the weekend. I'm really clean and tidy and am well house trained. My office is on St Kilda road so i'm looking for somewhere with good links to get there. Also if there is an F45 studio near by that's a bonus. Cheers, Riley
I am clean and friendly! I'm looking for a short-term stay (about until March). I'm moving from Brisbane in Jan to study, so I'm looking for something -not too expensive- and as close as I can to the city. I've lived with other people before and happy to do it again. I pretty much clean for work and I do the same at home. I will give you all the space you want but won't be awkwardly antisocial.
Looking for 3 months accommodation and if things go well, I'll stay longer! - I'm an Australian Born Citizen. Currently I work full time in the CBD - therefore would prefer somewhere near the CBD or Inner City. I'm really down-to-earth and easy to get along with - I don't judge and I respect other people. Generally, I'm introverted by nature but I'm quite sociable (especially if the topic of the conversation is captivating). Clean as you go! I hate mess and clutter, so you won't have any issues with that. I'm quite habitual so you won't need to worry about me rocking up at obscured times in the morning. Don't trust me with maps! I get lost quite easily if I don't premeditate where I'm going.
Hello, two female besties from Sweden looking for a private room in Melbourne. We are here working and need a place to stay now. We are happy, cheerful people who are responsible and clean. We are friendly and easygoing. Don't be afraid to hit us up, we love new people. Thila and Nicole
Hi there! I'm a 20 years old girl from Italy that is currently looking for a private room around Melbounre. the falt doesnt have to be in th CBD but i would rather find something not too far from the city and easly accessible with public transport. Something more about my self: I'm living in Austrlia about an year, really easy going but polite, tidy and respectful. I usually find my slef more confortable with people older than me probably cause I'm really independent and responsable. I love socializing and stay in company but I really need some space for my self as well so I am the first one who tries to respect each others privacy. I love cooking and i would like to start working back in a kitchen soon; I like reading and going for long walks and last watching movies. I would be more than happy to have a chat if you would be interested. Please notice that I'm looking for someone to share a flat not just renting the room and spend there all my time; it woukd be enough just have a chat together now and then, a glass of wine or watch a movie Hope to hear soon from you. kind regards Valeria
I'm very easy going and tolerant. I get along well with most folks. I'm always interested in stimulating conversation and learning about new things. As regards work, I have a PhD in mathematics and I work for a city University. My other interests include foreign language, guitar, chess, history and cooking. I prefer to live in a relaxed environment. If you would be interested in having me to share, please feel free to contact me.
I'm a full time student, I work part time in a pastry kitchen on my days off of school. I am generally a quiet person. I respect people's privacy and personal space. I consider myself a considerate person as I always clean up after myself in the kitchen and the bathroom. Pretty much as house-trained as anyone can be! :)
Hi all, Originally from Sydney and spent the last year settling in in a place all by myself! Hoping to move in with someone laid back who doesn't mind the occasional drink (or doesn't mind if I have one?). I don't like to bring the party home, train often - in the mornings, and work fairly long hours so will be a pretty quiet housemate! That said always up for the odd meal and/or chat in the evening. Also love my sports- either live or catch up. Cons: not big on reality TV but you do you! Flexible with time frame, ideally 6 months+ and flexible with a move date, anytime between now and Dec 1. Look forward to hearing from you Thanks! Maddy
Hi there! I'm Pauline, from France. Just arrived in Melbourne few days ago, I'm actually looking for a private room into a sharing house or flat. I've just found a job as a waitress in a nice bar in the city center so I'll work mostly on the evenings and during the week-end. I'd like to find a lively place sharing with people from differents nationalities. It's the best way to share and discover differents cultures! I'm a respectful and tidy person always ready to go for a few drinks! :) Looking forward to meeting you! Cheers!
Clean, social, considerate, and a food lover. Interested in design, art galleries, theatre shows, and music. Currently been living interstate and making the move back to Melbourne. Enjoy the occasional night out and catching up with friends and family.
I am a very very chilled guy, very passionate about my occupation and it basically consumes me. I'm a personal trainer and global online fitness coach. My life is fitness. In saying that, i still love a balanced lifestyle and love to have fun in my spare time. Looking to share a rental with someone and hopefully be able to build a friendship so it feels like home for everyone!
Hey, I'm looking for a new place to call home. I work full time in the CBD during the week at a digital design and development agency. I spend my free time at the beach or outdoors in summer, with friends seeing live music/discovering new bars, or creating things - I'm a coder. Like a lot of people I am seeking the perfect balance of having a housemate/s to share the occasional beer and burger with but also a place to get some down time to myself. I've lived in a lot of share houses so I know how to clean up after myself and prefer living with people who also like to live in a clean and tidy place.
I’m pretty driven so work hard (9-5ish) but like to play just as hard as I work... so I want a house that can balance them both. Would like a house the doesn’t mind a summer bbq or summer sesh but overall is down to earth, easy going and relatively clean. I’m 29, play footy and work full time in Hawthorn as an Exercise Physiologist. Interests - pretty stock standard - Parties, going to the beach, dogs, music (anything from Missy Higgins to Fetty Wap to Daft, tv shows (How I Met Your Mother, The Office
