My name's Jacob but I usually just go by Jake, I'm 22 and into technology, art, music and cycling - I relocated to Melbourne from Perth in October because Melbourne is awesome and have secured full time work here whilst continuing to work remotely part-time for an information security consulting firm in WA. I've been staying with a friend in Melbourne and am looking for more permanent accomodation to call my own for a minimum of around 6 months, I like to keep my living space neat, happy to split household costs fairly and would prefer somewhere with a modern kitchen/bathrooms and decent internet. Always keen for a bit of household banter/to make dinner and watch a movie or something from time to time but I work hard and like to chill outside of that (AKA I'm not going to be inviting handfuls of people over) also if you have any tech issues it's pretty much certain I can resolve them. I have good rental references from real estate in Perth (have held leases in my own name previously) as well as any professional or personal references that are necessary. Hit me up if you have any questions/wanna offer me a place or get lunch and discuss it (feel free to show me more places to get delicious food in Melbourne)
I'm a student that is moving to Melbourne in November as I have just found a new exciting permanent job in hospitality within the CBD and want to explore all that Melbourne has to offer. I consider myself a social person that enjoys going out for drinks with friends when I am not working or studying. Recently I have also started to enjoy cooking and I am looking for a place with like-minded flatmates. I am a tidy person and will be someone that helps out with the cleaning when possible. Also, I am reliable with payments of expenses and will be someone to count on in regards to the rent!

Very fond of ecological environment, and home made furniture 😝, reusing and etc. If it sounds right for you, or for any forther questions, pls contact.

Hi @ all, my name is Henning Erdmann and I am a well travelled 30yo German, who just started working on a 6 month contract here in Melbs. I am pretty much into sports and love to have some interesting conversations over a glass of beer (it mustn't even be German ;) or wine. Next to English I speak some Spanish, French and Dutch. Best regards, Henning
I'm super clean around the house and enjoy living in a clean environment. Been through a rough patch just getting back on my feet now and looking for a house mate with a level of maturity and cleanliness that will match up with mine. I study online and receive an allowance but also looking for a part time job thats suitable for my schedule. I know what it means to rent and I'm capable for showing respect and would like the same in return, I can be quite secluded and enjoy my down-time to relax. Any arising problems are dealt with quickly and civilly, I don't like my home to have tension thats easily avoidable if possible. I've done plenty of sharing of all kinds in my time so I hope to hear from someone awesome soon! Cheers everyone :) SG
Hey guys, I am a friendly exchange student at La Trobe looking to move out from campus for around a month, in order to be able to travel and explore Melbourne before i depart back home.

Myself and my partner are looking for a room ( with own bathroom preferred). We are both full time working professionals. We've lived in a sharehouse before however we are definitely not looking for a party house we are very clean, tidy and respectful of others space. During the week we are both working, on the weekends we like to cook a meal and check out new cafes . We are looking for a place to call home for a minimum of 6 months.
I'm a 30 year old male. I work in investments and travel is my biggest passion. I enjoy cooking, socialising, hiking, sport and trying new things. I recently relocated from Brisbane to Melbourne for work. I plan on exploring a lot of different areas outside Melb on weekends. I want a place that includes parking and ideally I would like my own bathroom but this isn't a deal breaker. Cheers, Trent
Hi, my name's Mic, I'm pretty easy going and get along with most, I enjoy getting out and being social, and I don't mind the odd lazy day either. I enjoy getting out for a run to keep the mind, body and soul in check, and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Teaching/Arts full time and working as an Integration Aide part time. I'm super easy to live, I'm domesticated and been sharing for a while, so I've either lived with it or seen it. I'll get back soon to fill in some more detail....
Hi, my name is Gabbie. I am looking for a room to move in next month. I tend to be quiet and generally like to do my own thing & wind down after a long day (of classes) at home, so I'm very respectful of others' personal space/quiet time/privacy. I am friendly, easy-going, tidy, & always pay rent on time. Currently studying business at Uni, I'm a night owl but not a party animal. I can't live with cats but I don't mind dogs; even though ideally, I'd like a house without pets. Strictly looking for a non-smoking house. Some of the things that I enjoy the most are music, movies, and good food. Leave me a message and I'll try to get back to you soon, cheers!

I'm 32 years old, work full time in hotel management but luckily don't have to work the crazy hospitality hours. I like to cook, read, drink coffee, dance and get out hiking or running as well as anything that means I get to be in the sunshine. I'm equally happy on my own as in the company of others so I enjoy a house dynamic that's both social (not after party to 5am social though) but also relaxed and do your own thing. I'm not a neat freak but I respect shared spaces and always clean up after myself. I have a small dog named Pip. She's 4 years old, completely house trained, sleeps all day, loves cats, long walks, tennis balls and ear scratches. She only needs a small yard with a bit of sunshine but she does spend time inside when I'm home. Ideally I'm looking for a place with 1-2 housemates, for a minimum of 6 months. My move dates are flexible but preferably it would be great to find something by the end of November
My name is Ben, I'm 22 years old and I have a working holiday visa in Australia, basing myself in Melbourne. I just graduated from university in Canada and I'm taking some time off school, what better place to do it then on the other side of the world, right? I'm real easy going, love to have fun, meet people, go out, travel and explore, and I'm just looking for some cool people to live with while I stay and work a bit in Melbourne. I'm also a musician, so anyone looking for a jam or just to be creative with, I'm your guy.
Well and truely easy going love a clean friendly environment with working professionals, very social not a room hermit in to the fitness clean living and up for adventure, if you fancy sharing a place with me give me a shout and we'll go from there. Thanks Joe
Hi ! I'm a French student in international law at Uni Melb, so I'm looking for a room (unshared and furnished) in this area, about 10-15min walk from the Uni. I'm very open-minded, easy going, clean and respectful. I respect the privacy of everyone but I also like to share good moments with my roommates (dinner, drink...). I'm mostly quiet and studious, but I also like good parties on week-ends. I can move in from the end of November, preferably for long term (around 7 months)
Professional, friendly, fit and social. Kiwi working in international business development, communications and marketing. Just moved from NZ, loving Melbourne. Keen to explore bars and great restaurants, looking for positive flatmates with good banter. :-)
Hi all, We are recent graduates and young professionals looking for a flatshare in Melbourne. We are clean, considerate and friendly. We are social but also independent and have a good sense of others' privacy. I am from California and Hendrik is from Germany, though he has excellent English. We like to run, eat and travel. We also enjoy a good beer -- one of us is from land of beer after all -- and a chat. And, of course, we are very excited to explore and live in Melbourne! Cheers, Sami + Hendrik

A little bit about me... I'm 25. I work full time as a podcast producer for a women's website, it's hectic but I adore it! I enjoy the occasional night out and love a night in with a board game (yeah, I'm a nerd.) or a crafternoon. I'm clean and respectful, I know the share house drill... Really hoping for somewhere to be a home (not just a place to crash) and to hopefully meet some awesome new people.
Hi, I'm Emily, and I'm friendly, warm and reliable, and looking for a relaxed household to join. I'm currently working part time in retail in the CBD and volunteering with the Salvation Army, with plans to go back to uni next year to study masters of social work at RMIT. I am pretty easy-going and relaxed, and easy to get along with. In my spare time I'm a budding/flailing novel writer, I love reading too, as well as other creative hobbies such as knitting and sewing. Always up for a laugh and a chat, and a chill time with no drama. :D
Hi I'm Heidi, 26 and just moved over here from Ireland (Donegal). I have a degree in metal craft design. Was working in dublin full time as a bartender. Im now working in the CSIRO. Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in the awesome city of Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease on a private room in a nice shared house/apartment with nice roommates. Ideally I would like to rent a room for the next 3 months or so, but I'm also open for shorter and maybe longer deals. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Female, 23 years old, non-smoker. I'm a pretty social person who loves a chat and to hang out from time to time. I also like to be a little independent and have some space, and I definitely respect others' need for that too. I am currently looking for full time work, but working part time (weekends). Food, wine, music (including breaking into song) and animals are the loves of my life. I am open to any pets! I have 2 pet rats which live in my room, and are super friendly little sooks (they are clean, contained and do not run loose through the house so to other housemates it's pretty much like they're not there at all). I am pretty darn tidy and always clean up after myself....and I may or may not sing in the shower. I'm pretty flexible with length of stay and move dates.
We're two friends from Europe (France and Germany) who love traveling, meeting new people and discovering cool places. We're both non smokers and love animals, so we don't mind if there are animals around but would rather live with non-smokers. Currently, we're both looking for part time jobs. We would be happy to find one or two rooms in a shared flat with outgoing, fun and interesting people to do activities and have fun with :)
We are friends back from Israel, but we are both very open to meet new people and would love to make new friends. My name is Reut and my friend's is Tamara. We are interesting in art and music and good long conversations :). We both travel a lot around the world, and recently we traveled east-south Asia.
I'm easy-going, clean, dependable and sociable. (Wow, it's always hard for me to write these short descriptions.) My business partners decided to move back to their respective home countries so I've just finished closing up shop. It's back to the old IT freelancing gig for now, until I figure out my next stop, which means I'll be working from home most days for a little while. I'm originally from Delhi. I've been living here since I turned 18 so I've accumulated a fair bunch of friends over the years. Hoping to add my future housemates to the list. I usually go out on the weekends for drinks/gigs, but when I don't I like to watch movies/tv shows and read. I'm into an occasional hike or two, trying new things and keeping it real.
Hi, I'm Alastair, over from London on my working holiday. I have a degree in weaving and used to work with dinosaurs. Always up for a drink and a dance, and my cooking is edible.
Hi, I'm looking for a house with a happy vibe. I'm 30, originally from Byron and working full time as a social media manager. I love photography and design, travelling (scuba diving when possible) and being out with friends. I'm really considerate and respectful. I'm a social person and would like to live with people who like to do their own thing but I could consider friends.
I'm a trendy guy with trendy values. I work in insurance and love my job, but just looking for a cheaper place so I can spend less on rent and study a bit more. Mainly looking for a cool sharehouse to share with cool people.
Born in Vancouver, Canada. Well travelled; lived in Europe, South America and USA for extended periods of time. I have been living in Melbourne for the past year, I work as a PA in the city. I am tidy and clean. I am athletic and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. I am responsible, but I also like to have a good time! I like spending time with friends; going out on the weekend or just taking it easy at home watching movies. I like to cook, but also like dinning out on the occasion.
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 2 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality as a barista. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. I genuinely end up caring about the people I live with and like to create a chilled, homely environment, stress free. My pup, Atticus. Being close to 2 yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Literally never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
Hey, I've just moved to Melbourne and Andrew is coming to join at the start of December once he finishes his travels around Asia and New Zealand! Both of us finished college last year, and we are now enjoying our freedom before studying next fall. We are chilled, enthusiastic, reliable and keen to meet new people! We are looking for full-time or part-time work in Melbourne and want some routine back, by living in a flat and not 10 bed dorm hostels!

Hey folks, EXCHANGE STUDENT; GERMAN; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY; 25; NICE; TIDY; LAUGHING; FUN So first of all, my name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
Hi there! Born in Australia with an Armenian background, easy going, normal guy. Weekdays are 9-5 job, like to get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. Like to socialise, eat out, travel, go to the footy and loveee listening to music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type!
My name is Natasha, I'm 24, I work in a boutique in the city and I am completing a degree in Communication Design at Billy Blue. I am looking for a room in the Northern suburbs. I am an easy going, drama-free person, and I am looking for a nice place to come back to and call home! I am interested in music and the creative arts, fashion and cooking. I enjoy a drink and a laugh with friends, and I'm a social person. Most weekends you will find me out and about seeing music, and during the week I keep it pretty low key with study and work. I have been living out of home for 5 years so I understand the basics of living out of home, and I actually try to be a good housemate (funnily enough that can be a rarity). If you would like to know more about me or you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in contact! I am looking for a place ASAP. Tash :)
My name is Josh. A 25 year old, who enjoys a peaceful yet balanced environment. For me, work, gym, studies and an occasional drink makes up a typical week. I appreciate clean surroundings and relaxing conversations. My energy goes mainly towards work and gym but I'm open to spontaneous trips when my schedule allows me to.
Hello! My name is Natalie and I am a working artist/Uni Student. I dont have pets, don't smoke, and am an easygoing housemate. I like to cook occasionally and always tidy up after myself. Also, I have been renting for the past three years and have never had issues with paying rent/bills on time. I am ready to move asap so I would love to hear from you!
I'm a 31 year old Irish guy who is moving to Melbourne in late November from London. I will be mainly working during the week in St Vincents Hospital in the city. I'm a fairly good housemate I think. Clean, tidy, can cook, easy going, sociable and all the rest. I love sports, films, tv, going out, fitness and travelling. I'm looking for a furnished room in a flat share so if you have a spare room and you think I would be a good housemate then get in touch. P.s. I hate writing these bio things so if I sound like a knob then I apologise.
