Hey I'm Rory a gay typical Virgo, I keep everything in its place and clean always. I'm not at all loud except I do snore. I'm on a Carers pension for my father so I receive benefits every fortnight to cover the rent and other utilities. I'm shy at first but open up to people I warm up to. I love the footy and love animals. I'm not a big partier but don't mind a few Bundies watching a game or for a special occasion. I have usually appointments for myself or care for my Dad and Mum on each day so I am usually out during working hours. The weekend I love going to the gym. Also I don't have a license but I walk everywhere. I am a smoker. Pretty easy going laid back, just wanting some place to call my own little sanctuary.
Friendly and easy-going gal from Darwin. Looking for a furnished private room preferably in CBD or close to city and girls only. Wanting to move to Melbourne to pursue a job career. I get along great with other people and believe I'd be an awesome person to share with :) My budget per week is $250 and would prefer that included all bills or at least most of the bills. Or $300 with everything included (bills and internet) Move in date is between march 29th and April 10th :) Team ups with girls only!!
I'm from Colombia, I'm 26 years old. I little bit about me: I'm a Marketing Professional. I came to Australia to study English for a year and life some different experiences, I love animals, I like to cook and read, I'm a creative person, I like to keep my space really clean, I respect the other and I hope they respect me back. I'm looking for a private room near city.
Hey everyone, Chun Sang here (or CS, it rolls off the tongue much more easily)! From Singapore, 27 turning 28. Currently working as an admin officer at Monash Uni at St Kilda Road. I like the occasional drink or two. A cafe run wouldn't hurt either (I like my coffee, good or bad ones). Binges too much on movies, tv shows and netflix sometimes. Oh, huge soccer fan too #GGMU. Overall, I'd say i'm relatively clean and tidy (I try to clean my apartment every weekend), pretty chill, respects your personal space, and would like to meet and hang out with some potential awesome housemates. Let me know if you think i'd be good for ya!
I am a neat and clean Architect working in the CBD. I am also an easy going with a good sense of humour. Happy to be social as well give people space to do their own thing, not a hermit. I have a car, so I will be looking for a place which as parking or free street parking.
Hi my name is Chirag. Looking for a long term accommodation. I work in Sales for an IT Software company (Healthcare) next to Camberwell for the past 1+ year. I moved back in early 2015 from overseas after 4 years of living and working and glad to be back in the most livable city in the world - Melbourne!! I am an Australian Citizen and have lived in Melbourne for 10 years (2000 - 2010) - I worked at ANZ Bank in various departments for 7 years! Went to study full time for my Masters at Melbourne Uni, graduated and found a job overseas and hence the overseas living and working :)... I am extremely friendly and have lived with many nationalities prior. My current and prior flat mates can vouch for me and will be my referees. While at home, I enjoy watching movies, like to cook, having a chat over meal/drink with flat mates, have my own space to relax and give them their - in short, I am really cool ;) :). I am pretty social so go out a lot as well. I also love swimming, riding my bicycle and exploring Melbourne - lately have been going regularly for beach volleyball and swim to South Melbourne beach (Melbs summer and enjoying it thoroughly) and rest, well you will have to chat with me in person – yeah? :) Buying fresh from the markets and cooking from scratch - it's my thing and like a glass of red with a nice meal and specially in the winters and to keep myself warm :). Would be great to have chats over a drink, eat together at times - instead of being a person living in the next room. I am most flexible and mindful of others and their privacy. Looking to share with matured flatmate/s who would be 'neat & clean' and would take responsibility of themselves and the house - I do not mean clean freak :). I am down to earth and easy to get along with. Would be great to share with someone who ‘wants to share’ and not just looking for saving rent or having a person just to share for the sake of it and not responsible while sharing the place. Would be great to meet in person and have a chat please, thank you. I have my own bedroom stuff - bed, tall boy, side table, shoe rack etc and also my espresso coffee machine, couple of pans and other utensils for kitchen nothing major though - no other furniture. Thank you. Cheers, Chirag :)
Hi Guys, My name is Naima and I'm looking to rent a room. I have a happy disposition and am very clean. I keep to myself mostly but also mingle in. My hobbies include playing volleyball on the weekends, hanging out with my friends and reading. Also occasionally binge watch Netflix. I work part-time as an Account Manager, searching for full-time roles.
Hey! I'm a 21 year old science student looking for a new place to call home. I'm social and fairly easy going. I play music in my spare time, I've been playing guitar for several years and I've recently also become a (bedroom) DJ. I enjoy cooking and I also make sure to leave communal areas clean all the time. As a bonus, I also come with a vacuum, fridge, washing machine and some furniture attached to me that I can bring to the house. I'd love to hear from you all, and I hope I can be a great addition to your house!
Hey there! Recently my priorities have started revolving around cooking, music and writing. Recently a friend of mine said I'm a guy who is always up for anything so I can be a lot of fun. I love to relax and enjoy the comforts of a home as well.
Hi! My name is Giorgia and I am currently working full-time as a midwife in the city. This does mean I am a shift worker so my roster and working hours are a bit all over the place. I am therefore busy and will be in and out of the house, and sleeping at all times of the day and night. I am quiet and respectful when coming in and out, however I do not expect everyone else to be quiet during the day if I am sleeping-luckily I can sleep either way! I am a vegetarian enjoy gardening, being active if I have the energy, and reading/relaxing at home. I have lived out of home for many years and so have a good understanding of the need to be clean, respectful, and pay the bills on time. Looking for a 6-12 month lease, 12 months preferred. Flexible on location, so long as it is roughly 20min drive to city. I would like to find a place where we really enjoy each others company and we all become good friends, however I do also enjoy my own space and respect others as well. I am very interested in a team up to start a new share house. About the same age would be nice, no strict preference on gender. I come with an assortment of plants and a cat, Theo. He is three years old and very well behaved (indoor cat, Siamese). He is very friendly and loves nothing more than sleeping with people on the couch. He does not bite/scratch, or destroy furniture, minimal shedding. References (character/rental) for both Theo and myself are available upon request
Very clean / domestic Socialable Approachable Bubbly Musician Go to gigs Skate I'm currently working full time and always up for going out and being social or even chilling out on a couch and interacting with house mates with board games or anything. Don't mind a chill out drink after work and sometimes go out on a weekend but only for gigs or bands i want to see at clubs or such. Like to think im very approachable and helpful around the house, i clean up after myself and like to live in a clean house like anyone would. I play in a band that i go and play and jam with regularly so if you ever want to do a road trip or check us out i wont say no to the extra fun and all that goes with it Also I am drug free, never done it, don't have a problem with it and if people use it Also I don't smoke or anything like that.

I'm from Australia, but new to Melbourne, having recently returned after spending 9 years living in London. I work full time in the CBD on content for websites and mobile apps. I'm clean, tidy and respectful, but also happy to join my housemates for dinner or a drink occasionally.
My name's Daniel, I'm 25, and I work full-time for a small consulting company in Bundoora. I'm easy going, I like to keep fit (runs, gym, swim, etc.) and I'm well house-trained! I like a house with a little bit of energy but where everyone respects each others space. I'm keen to move to the Darebin area or other suburbs north of the city.
We are a couple of introverted performing artists who love the outdoors, reading, film, cooking, spirituality and exploring. Very easy going and we value kindness, compassion, honesty and openness. We have a well-behaved cat also. We would love to hear from anyone offering temporary accommodation, sub-lets, or a two-bedroom places. Many thanks! :)
I'm hardly ever home and I'm clean. I have enough good quality furniture to fill a 2 bedroom apartment so preferably looking for a garage to store it. I come with 2 very friendly Burmese cats. I have 2 jobs so I'm not home much. I am a smoker (outside is fine) and don't pry into peoples lives. I respect privacy but i am friendly. I also prefer off street parking. I don't have crazy ex's or kids.
Studying psychology at ACAP and work freelance. I am a tidy, quiet person who is seeking accommodation near public transport due to no car. I enjoy cooking, writing, reading, volunteering, making friends, theatre, opera, music, eating out, working and walking. If we sound compatible contact me asap! Please note I have a well behaved small dog that's six years old. He's quiet, adorable and also loves other pets including other dogs and cats. I hope someone out there has a heart and will let us both stay as he is my only family and I'd hate to lose my companion. Thank you. At this point I'll move anywhere to keep my dog as he recently had costly and debilitating surgery. I am also a non drinker and non smoker.
Easy-going, mindful of others and able to pay bills on time. Student looking to minimise the commute and enjoy the lifestyle that accompanies moving out of home. Variety of cliche interests; music, film, television, sports. Would more than welcome quiet drinks and or dinner during the week with housemates. Whether it'd be a slab and kebab, or fine dining with a bottle of red. Sociable yet like most I do enjoy downtime to relax or 'study'. I'm a man of simple pleasures with basic survival skills and etiquette who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Also more than capable of keeping tidy and washing a dish. Ideally I like staying low-key during the week, however come the weekend you may not see much of me. I enjoy keeping busy and making the most of my leisure time. Although assuming we get along no doubt I'd have the odd night in hanging out. Eager to talk to anyone whose interested!
Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities. Some of these are learning music, an eclectic array of DIY projects (from sewing to programming), and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. If not, best of luck regardless. Ollie.
I'm clean, easy going and am independent but like to have friendly, clean housemates that like the occasional cup of tea/ drinks/ meals together when timing suits :) I've been sharing houses since I was 18 in different countries and am very adaptable. Looking for a new place long term but happy to start with 6 months also. Looking strictly in the areas listed below. The "About me" section isn't displaying correctly but I have only selected "Working full time" so if you see any others, likely due to some bug (?) on this.
I would like join your house family (ideally 3br or more) to create a warm, productive space to pursue dreams and possibilities and enhance the quality and enjoyment of life. ** flexible move date ** Hey guys! We are a couple named Brooke and Sam, both 25, and looking to find a new space to call home in our beloved home city after traveling the world. A little about ourselves... Since finishing her University studies Brooke has switched between full time work and traveling the world, and now is settled back in Melbourne with a full time job in the travel industry. Also a Yoga teacher, super cleaner and lover of all things natural. Sam is also a traveler and expert Barista making coffees in Brunswick for over 8 years so expect the best morning coffee (don't worry, no Melbourne coffee snob here) and an AMAZING cook! We have been together for many years and honestly such a chill couple that don't need to do everything together always.. we are both very independent people! (I know most say that, but really!!) We are both vegetarians so would prefer a Vegetarian house hold to make life easier for all, both love traveling the world with complete cultural immersion..food and language, so very open minded people. We both work, love our personal space but enjoy socializing over a few beers as well. Super clean, tidy and respectful to all spaces and will bring yummy cooking, diverse conversations, good laughs and beautiful plants to our new home! We look forward to hearing from you! :) Note: Sam is an occasional smoker but only smokes outside just to make that profile section clear
We're a British travelling couple (24, 25) who have landed in Melbourne 14/03 and looking to spend around 6-9months in Melbourne, although want to find a 3 month stay to begin with, and then go from there in terms of housing. $350 really is our limit, we'd prefer this to include bills but that can be negotiated. We're easy-going, clean and social housemates- enjoy a chat over cooking (I'm veggie but happy to cook meat) and a glass of wine/beer but also appreciate busy schedules and personal time/space. We'll be working but on our time off we enjoy keeping fit (gym, yoga, running, walks) and catching up with friends in the amazing restaurant and bar scene that Melbourne offers!
Oh hey! We're Nu & Marco, a Melbourne chicka and German guy and we put the mates in 'housemates'. We're a fun-loving, friendly couple who've just come back from our overseas adventures and are now looking for a more permanent home. I'm a full time travel agent and Marco is a full time student so we're both out and about most days but really appreciate some relaxed down time after business hours feat. baking, chill nights in, and road tripping on weekends. We're clean, reliable, respectful, and don't take ourselves too seriously and we'd love to find like-minded housemates who are also keen on the occasional shared dinner and boogie. If you think your household needs more freshly baked goods and a funny accent to complete it you know who to call! (hint: not Ghostbusters)
29 year old American. Just finished backpacking in Asia for 11 months and settling in Melbourne for awhile on a working holiday. I'm an easy going and respectful roommate. Very clean. Enjoy biking, running and cooking. It would be great to become friends since I'm new to the city but not a must.
I'm currently on my gap year, working part time as a barista and training full time as a boxer. I'm super easy going, sociable, clean and reliable. Moving to Melbourne from Perth mid-April so looking for a place to move in by the start of May!
Hi! My name is Amanda, I am 33 years old (but look and act about 25) I was working in communication until recently when I left to go travelling. At the moment I am with a temp agency until I find the right comms/media role for me. Stuff about me: I love films, binge watching tv series, reading and Seinfeld. I am pretty easy to get along with and love meeting new people. I am respectful of others, quiet if I get home late and will keep shared areas clean and tidy, my room, however may have clothes all over the floor by the end of the week. In winter I am on my snowboard and in Summer I am at the beach. I am also (don't judge me) a Bikram Yoga addict and bust some moves at hip hop dancing once a week. I love food, but I'm a pretty basic cook and an excellent dish washer-upperer. I am out most nights of the week, but when I am at home I settle into that couch like a boss (always with a cup of tea). My dog Boo Radley is my entire world, I have only had him for a short while, but I know we're going to be the best of friends. He is a 4 month old puppy. A staffy x many other breeds (he's a rescue). I am looking to live with people who are clean and tidy, respectful of others but also those who want to get to know me and we can have those cool housemate moments where you all watch a movie or just sit around and talk about nothing until 1 in the morning with a glass of wine/beer/cider and pizza. I want to live in a home with mates, not a house that I just sleep in.
I'm looking for a home base while I save up some money to go travelling. I'm currently working at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am looking for any extra work I can find. I've studied Music and Psychology in the past; looking to undertake my Masters in Music Therapy when I return from adventure time. In my spare time I like to read, meditate, write, walk, catch up with friends, play and listen to music, garden and learn about anything and everything I don't yet know. I have a little black cat named Pepper who has lived in a few different places with me over her 3 years and always settles in to new environments very quickly. She's a sweetheart. I have minimal possessions but anything I do have is yours to share :) Looking to live with one or two other people max, and if you're interested in applying for a lease together I'm up for that too!
Hello potential Flatmate/s! Born in the Philippines, raised in Sydney, I graduated from a Bachelor in Engineering and Architecture and found myself working in an Architecture firm consequentially. For the past 8.5 months, however, I caught the travel bug and found myself travelling around Europe. Alas, it's time to head back to Australia and settle down for a bit again. I'll be moving to Melbourne where I will be working full time for a few months before I start my Masters in Architecture in late July; from then on I'll be working part time in the office. Since this is a new city for me, I'm looking for a cool place to live, with fun and lively people who are very sociable; likes music; goofing around; deep conversations and more importantly those who would hopefully make my move to Melbourne enjoyable! :)
Hi, I'm Vivien! I'm from Melbourne & I'm currently a student at Melbourne Uni. I want to find somewhere closer to uni because I am sick of the ridiculously long commute from where I currently live. I'm neat and tidy, and pretty easy to get along with. I love movies (all of them), music, history, and reading. I'm quiet but always more than happy to socialise either at home watching TV or on a night out! Please let me know if you have any questions!!
I'm a Filipino professional moving to Melbourne on April 12 to work part-time. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and friends, but also loves spending time alone. I May appear shy/timid at first but I warm up to people easily. During my free time, I usually exercise at home and walking/running outside. I'd love to explore the whole of Australia one day and overseas too. I'm looking forward to find a great accommodation perfect to my needs (near bus and train stations, supermarkets, malls, park, etc.) and great housemates, who I can be good friends too. :) I'm easy going, find joy in the little things, low maintenance, responsible, neat, and would be happy to lend a hand at doing chores. :)
Rohan is 36, studies horticulture, works part time as an accountant and plays a bit of music (bass and drums, but it doesn't have to be in the house if that disturbs the housemates). He enjoys growing veggies and has a contagious laugh 🙂 Agnese is also 36, from Italy. She just completed a PhD in Italian linguistics, currently teaching at Melbourne uni and La Trobe and doing some research work. Loves to cook and feed people. We recently got an ice-cream maker!! Lots of fresh seasonal fruit is turning into yummy gelato with no added sugar these days! Happy to share. Our common passions include camping, bike riding, bush walking, cooking amazing healthy meals from scratch with home grown ingredients! We are both financially secure, clean, tidy and quite experienced in share houses. Respectful, collaborative and good communicators.
Hello, I'm Giacomo. I'm a 28 years old PhD researcher at RMIT. I just moved here to Melbourne (I'm so glad I did - this place is amazing) and I'm looking for a private room to stay in. I'll be living off my scholarship so I'll have a steady income. I'm going to live here for at least three years and a half, so if I like the place you know it's going to be long term. I guess I could describe myself in more depth, but I'd rather have a chat at the place, or maybe I can buy you a cup of coffee down the street if you can spare the time. Please let me know if you want to arrange a visit, I'll come see the house as soon as I possibly can! Giacomo
I am currently living on my own though this has made saving a little difficult!! Never skip a beat when it comes to rent, bills etc... I work the Mon-Friday grind therefore I generally keep things pretty chilled during the week. The weekend I like to let my hair down so my friends and I will generally catch up over drinks. Music - Its easier to say what I don't like - Top 40, Aussie Hip hop, Metal (there are some exceptions) and most but not all country. I love going to festivals and gigs as much as I can. I am a clean person and I always tidy up after myself though I am not a clean freak. I'm a easy going person and I love being able to have a laugh and a yarn with my roomies though I am totally aware for the need of personal space. Interest: Travel, gigs, festivals, stand up comedy, camping, wine, documentaries, cooking, gym, dance. What I am looking for: I am looking for a house with either a backyard or verandah. I would prefer a place with some character though something that is not falling apart. I do have some furniture though I am able to get rid of it if needed (would prefer to keep the fridge - Maybe it could become a beer fridge). I am happy to be on a lease for 6 months and need to be out of my property the latest the 2/4/17. Hope to speak with you soon =)
I am a 21 year old uni student at ACU studying honours in psychology. In my spare time I enjoy binging TV shows, reading, playing cards, as well as cooking. I am tidy and respectful of other peoples space, however would also love to become friends with the people I move in with. I am looking for a private room in a sharehouse.

I am a very easy going person with a good sense of humour, like pets (but don't have any currently!) Enjoy good movies. I am single and intend to remain so, so there will never be any "guests" over. I am a youth worker, very enthusiastic about social justice, I enjoy my work, which is shift based, I work every second weekend and have one "sleepover" shift per f/night. I am very clean but not OCD. More than happy to work on home cleaning schedules. On my weekend off I will sometimes be away at my bush property in western Victoria.
I'm a clean and keep to myself kind of person, chef by trade so early morning departure and late at night arrivals are common. Very much into my sport and cannot wait to catch Essendon playing at the MCG! Not a partier but a BBQ out the back along with cold VB will keep me entertained. If you feel like housing this Perth boy tryna make it in the big smoke, please don't hesitate to message.
Hello guys !!! My name is Jorge, I am from Spain and I have just moved recently to Australia. I am mechanical engineer and I came here because I would like to improve my English. I have been travelling a lot, mainly SouthAmerica and Europe. I love sport such as crossfit, football, cycling and I really would like to learn more about Australian Rugby and Cricket!!! From time to time I also like going to a bar or a pub and grab a beer with my friends. I am a really quite person, I do not make noise and I try to keep my flat clean. I am a really easy going person, drama free, who likes chatting with my flatmates every now and again but I also know how to respect your privacy and your time. I have been sharing apartments with people from other cultures and countries for 7 years and I have never had a serious issue. I do not have any specific requirements and I will adapt to my flatmates so as to have the best relationship with them.
Hey there! My name is Zach, I'm a young, friendly, easy going and clean person, looking for a private room in a sharehouse. I'm new to Melbourne, and trying to find accommodation on the north side, while still being close to the cbd. Willing to go on lease if necessary, or to team up to start a share house. Send me a0 message with any questions!
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:)
Hey! Two mates and I are hoping to either take over a lease or team-up in a property. All work full-time: I work in Sports, Tom (24) works as a bar manager and Liam(26) is a teacher. All love sports, TV binge sessions and heading out on the weekends. Everyone is super busy during the week with work and after work activities (training, catching up with friends). I do have a dog who would be outside (all good if yard is small as take him to the park/run everyday) - very obedient and friendly. We have all graduated Uni and are past the stage of being messy, mid-week antics etc so that stereotype of 3 boys together is definitely not true! Mostly looking for a property of which we can take over the lease but also interested in a 4 bedroom if someone did want to stay on in that property or team-up. Couples welcome!!
We are friendly, easy going people. Dont smoke, drink occasionally, prefer a bar to a club. I love to clean, especially the kitchen, and my husband is an AMAZING cook if you ever want to share meals. We work a lot so really just need a quiet place to sleep, friends would be a great bonus :)
Hi, I'm Jeremy, I'm moving into the area due to work. - Looking for at most 3-4 months with the possibility of extension - Easy going and laid back. - Busy full time worker, student with extra curricular activities - Interest in film, landmark education, food, exploring new places and cycling. - I'm very used to sharing space with other people and have shared with other people in Melbourne and overseas for over 4 years. - Easy to get along with, tidy and respectful of other people's space but happy to share a meal with and a laugh.
