I'm moving from Far North Queensland to Melbourne for a new job, so I need somewhere to live! I'm someone who is happy staying in and watching movies or going out on an adventure. I'm happy to hang out, but also respectful of space. If you have pets that's okay with me because I love animals. Please feel free to message me if you think you might have a place for me.
Hi My name is Sameera. I'm a 22 year old South African/ Indian. I will be starting my Masters at The Univeristy of Melbourne soon and I am looking for a nice place to live nearby. I am clean & tidy and pretty quiet but also looking to make new friends. Lover of TV shows and dogs.
Hey, Me and my partner are travelling to aus on a working visa. We are a very relaxed couple but likes to have a laugh. We are both outgoing and love to explore. We are very easy going, clean up after ourselves and both really excited for our journey.
I have lived in share houses for many years and wouldn't have it any other way - I love community, and the people I've lived with tend to become great friends. Traits I value in myself and others include being considerate, open and kind communication, and taking care of all the usual sharehouse duties with grace! A bit about me - I'm 33 with a few creative bones in my body (background in theatre and visual art), and a passion for complimentary health (Naturopathy graduate, working as a Kinesiologist one day per week), and avid nature lover/camper/hiker, and also work the 9-5 x four days per week in local government. I'm rather busy and tend to fill my days and evenings, but I see building a strong relationship with my housemates as a high priority and love the periodic 'family dinner', and of course regular spontaneous cups of tea/vino and chats. Rachel :)
Hi, I'm Marjorie, from France and 23yo. I'm working full-time (monday to friday) as hairdresser in the CBD for the next 6 months. I like to go out, to watch movies and to cook. I'm a tidy, respectfull, and easy going person. I would like to find a place with my own room, and to share the apartment with nice and friendly persons.
Hi I'm Eileen I studied photography back in Perth and moved down to Melbourne last year to pursue my career. I now work as a waitress for financial support. I enjoy art and galleries, drawing, casual drinking, board games and clubbing. I'm easy-going, LGBT+ friendly and a deep sleeper (so I won't complain about people vacuuming in the morning cos I don't even know that happened anyway). I would like to social and meet new people, have a few drinks at night and do not mind to have a bit of party in the house. I love animals. I have been living with dogs, rabbits and I took care of my housemates' fish tanks and rabbit while they were away. I'm after a clean tidy house where everyone is respectful and responsible to maintain the public area. It would also be great to move into a house where people talk to each other instead of hiding in their own rooms. Furnished/ unfurnished room will be fine as I have my own bed and desk. Please let me know if you think I'm suitable for your house. Thank you.
Hello! I am a 25 year old, gay, Aussie, student nurse, I like to live in a friendly house where people mix a little but that's not a deal breaker I am easy going and like a laugh, usually thrive wherever I am and I am well trained in being a good housemate :)

We are a Chilean couple traveling to Melbourne with a working holiday visa, and we are looking for a quiet place to live in. Both of us are very clean and tidy, as well as considerate, polite, respectful, calm and easygoing. We love sports and nature. We are professionals from the Humanities / Arts area. We are non-smokers.
G'day! I am Bram (25 yo) from The Netherlands. My story in short: After finishing my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering followed by a working year, I found it too obvious and not adventurous enough to continue my working career in The Netherlands. Let's try 17,000 kilometers beyond: Straya! During my studies the past 7 years I have always lived in social shared student houses in both The Netherlands and the US (did a part of my degree in the US). I really like the social thing about living together: hanging around, have some beers, nonsense talking, sharing your irritations of that day with dinner, etc. Hence, I would prefer to live in a social vibrant shared house. I am entering Australia on a working holiday visa, however my goal is to stay here for a couple years and find a sponsorship for an engineering job. Although I know everyone is describing themselves with the same keywords I am still gonna do it ;). I am easy going, I feel myself most comfortable in social surroundings, I have a work to live mentality and I have a lot of diverse interests. About my interests: I am a football addict, the round ball version to be clear. Furthermore, I like music. I play saxophone myself and I often go to music festivals. Hooroo!
I work in hospitality so I'm trained to be clean, I work as a cocktail Bartender in a bar on Brunswick St. I'm from Melbourne, looking to move closer to work. I love alcohol but I'm not a huge partier as I do work nights, I don't want a party house but I do enjoy a beverage or few.
I'm Felipe a passionate graphic designer, busy during the week and almost busy also during the weekends with my studies, looking for a quite and relaxed place where we can share meals and funny moments together.
I'm 25 and working a lot, so im rarely around but when I am I enjoy a chit chat and a glass of wine. I practice yoga, like watching environmental and food documentaries, and getting out and exploring. I'm going to be in Melbourne for a while so I hope to find somewhere where I can call home!
We're Italian and we're 20 and 19. We are friendly and we like sports, to be fit and good food (fresh and natural-without maionese ) . Good Italian cookers, we like parties and we like so much to joke . Currently we are looking for a job. We love enjoying life. We currently are living in homestay so we know the rules to live with the others and we respect them.
I've just moved over to Melbourne for one/two years after an amazing year in New Zealand. I'm very chilled and sociable to live with. I will be working full time Monday to Friday and I plan on adventuring & socialising at the weekend. I would be happiest in a social house, the more people the better, where people are respectful of other's sleep during the week. My weekends and free time will consist of trips away, gigs, trying out new hobbies and meeting new people.
I am moving from India to Melbourne in July '17 for my Master's degree in La Trobe University @ Bundoora Campus. I am looking for Part-time jobs to manage my living expenses there. I have 4 years of work experience in Banking & Finance field and hence believe that finding a part time job will be easier. I am a clean, respectful and extrovert person and people find it easy to connect with me and move along. I prioritize cleanliness above everything, however not OCD. I know a bit of cooking - mostly Indian cuisine. I love to socialize and binge-watch tv series now and then. Also, I love pets although I won't be owning one, I would not mind if my flatmates have one!
Hi! I'm Stace, just turned 26. I work full time as a retail manager. I've only been living in Melbourne for just over 4 months (originally from Brissy if there's anything follow Queenslanders out there) so I'm hoping to live somewhere where I can possibly make some new friends out of it! I love live music and a cheeky bev (or six) on a school night.

Clean and tidy. Respect other people's space. Sociable but not a party person. Able to pay rent on time. Graduate student, will be working part time. Looking for a quiet and friendly place to stay. Hi, I’m Hernan from the Philippines and I am a grad student at Melbourne Uni. I am looking for a quiet, clean and secure place to stay, with a functional kitchen and laundry area. The place must be accessible to public transport going to Melbourne Uni or walking distance. I would be happy to share a house with like-minded people who might be busy with our own pursuits but would also enjoy occasional discussions or outings. More About Me I’m an engineer currently involved in renewable energy projects here in my country and will be studying the same field there for a year and a half. I am in my early thirties, enjoy exploring new places and will be happy to meet new people. I’m not sporty but I won’t say no to some hiking, climbing, biking and the likes. I have experienced sharing a room/house during my college years, so I know how to keep to myself or engage my housemates as needed. I’m respectful of other people’s space and able to clean up my own. I am also willing to share in the house chores if that’s the arrangement. I should be able to pay rent on time as I have a modest allowance from a scholarship, as long as it is within budget. Let me know if you have a nice place for a grad student like me. Thank you!
Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. I've just started working in Southbank so am looking for somewhere to live for around 6-9 months. Ideally a furnished room, although not a deal breaker if not (although I may need some help putting the furniture together!) Would consider increasing budget to $300pw if it includes all bills and wifi. If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date could be flexible. Thanks Yvonne
Hello! I'm a 30 year old professional working in social media who works office hours. I am quiet, clean and tidy. I'm a foodie, who enjoys going out for a meal. I also have a little friendly cat called Scout who doesn't damage furniture and is very quiet. I'm looking for a unfurnished apartment or townhouse to move into. I would prefer a bed and study but if a room is large enough for a desk, it would be perfect.
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat, Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to take up uni and will work part or full time as necessary. (Previously a qualified veterinary nurse- have worked the past 4 years in insurance- escalations/disputes/assessing claims). I've just returned from backpacking around Europe and am hoping to move to Melbourne in March. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over regularly that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). I have a passion for music, animals, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!), philosophy, nature and travel.
Working in Footscray at VU and away from my family and looking to find a nice room to allow me to relax on travelling long hours instead of traveling up and back to Traralgon daily. I'm committed to paying the weeks rent however I won't be staying every night as I'll head home to the wife and kids a fair bit.
Single, 27 year old, male, recruiter extraordinaire. Full time work hours, with an active social life. Will not be skulking in my room, or hogging the couch crying over soap operas.....really I promise. I'm easy going and generally try and avoid to drama over small things. Independent, clean and have my shit together. I am a people person up for a good laugh and a bit of banter. Not a party animal, but do like to dabble in a few drinks with friends. Enjoy anything sport, and like to be active.
I'm originally from Peru in my mid 30s and working in hospitality atm, but looking to start my career in accounting pretty soon. I love to go out for dinners with close friends, love movies and cooking occasionally. I'm tidy and respectful of communal places and expecting the same qualities. I'm kind person, with an easy going attitude and easy to be around. I am accommodating to others so long as the same respect is reciprocated.
Hi! We are a couple from the UK who are looking for a place to call home. We both currently work (Lewis as a professional golfer at Albert Park golf club) We are very easy going, tidy and respectful people. We appreciate people like their own space - as do we. But we also enjoy being social. We would need to move in on the 10th April as we are coming back from a east coast trip. Ideally we would like to see rooms before we leave on the 12th March. Look forward to hearing from you. :)

Hey there! My name's Jerome, I'm 19 years old and I'm about to study full time at Swinburne. I'm looking to live with 1 to 2 housemates from any age up to their mid twenties. I am a clean, responsible and respectful person, however I'm always up for a conversation! I'm quite a busy bee; especially once uni starts, so you'll find I'm not home overly often, which is great if you prefer mostly having the house to yourself. I also work at a furniture shop, so if any communal furniture needs updating, I'm happy to lend a hand! If I sound like someone you'd like to live with, I'd love to hear from you! Thank you!
My name is Tara, I am a 24 year old professional business writer working in the CBD. I moved to Melbourne 1 year ago for work from the Gold Coast, and I have moved 6-7 times (every 3-4 months) due to not being entirely comfortable with my housemate choices. I am looking for a roommate and a friend to spend the evenings and weekends with (not all the time haha) I love to cook and be active on the weekends but enjoy a glass of wine most nights! Please call me. I am wanting this next move to be my final move so I am very interested to meet you :) Thanks
I'm 23 and I work at Coach store at DFO which makes me super busy. I love to keep fit and have a healthy lifestyle and I have a strong love for wine and cheese.

Hey! me and my girlfriend are looking for a place to live , we are recently arrived in melbourne and staying in a house in richmond at the moment, but we like it more in St Kilda or any of the northern part of Melbourne for its vibe. We both quite like music, and are pretty creative, thats why we came to melbourne. I work in a cheese shop in the prahran market and my girlfriend is starting work in hospitality as well, we are both respectful, tidy and easygoing. I am from chile by the way and she is from the US , and we are planning on staying in Melbourne for a while, i will personally be most of the time either at work, or out doing workshops ( i plan on taking some music making lessons and photography and maybe cooking and dancing ) , and my girlfriend too, so we would be home mostly for the relaxing part, i quite film as well so i enjoy watching movies and reading, watching documentaries, etc. So thats more or less our plan for Melbourne and if we have the time for it probably going for little nature trips on the weekends if i get to fix my camper van. Well anyways if its still possible to make a visit and you feel like it we would be intrested so just hit me back ! Thanks.
Im a social, uncomplicated, friendly young chef from Switzerland and I cook almost every free day for my self so we could split the grocery costs and I would cook. I would love to move into an apartment soon as possible and meet my flatmates of the future :) We are going to have a good time

My name is David and I'm a RMIT student from Mexico that is just about to begin clases and need a place in the city. I am very interested on sports, architecture and having fun. Basically everything that would turn into a good memory in the future. I consider myself a very easy-going fella, I like a lot having good conversations and I'm anxious to meet new people. I'm also organized and tidy and prefer to endure the headache that it's sometimes cleaning instead of living in a nasty place. Hope knowing from you guys soon!
Hi all, Looking for a place on the north side that is available now. One of my friends (25) is also looking, so if you have more than one room available please get in touch. I'm a second-year master's student and part-time retail lackey. Into cycling, cooking, reading and being gay. Cheers, Oscar

I could also look at the possibility of renting a big house here , ie shared tenancy . We Look forward to hearing from you ! Rizael & Zeta
Sian and I are a cute laid back couple. We like to keep to ourselves just as much as we like to go out and about. We currently live in a little beach unit by ourselves in Brisbane, but I've been offered a better job in Melbourne so unfortunately we are going to leave the beach life behind. Most work days we just come home, cook dinner, watch a TV series and sleep. Sian is into pole fitness and I'm into motorbikes. When we get spare time we like to take the bike out for adventures/camping/etc. Ideally I need a secure location to keep my motorbike at night (it doesn't require much room). We are hoping to find a comfortable place with a small number of occupants. We are looking for a nice sized room, we would prefer not to be crammed in like sardines as there will be the 2 of us in 1 room and we would both like to set up a small desk. Hopefully we can find some nice flatmates soon so that we can move down to Melbourne shortly after we get home from overseas in March. Thanks for reading

Hi. I'm a quiet single musician and artist--so I'm looking for a cool place friendly to folks like me. Like to keep to myself; easy to get along with--house-trained, so I won't leave sinkfuls of dirty dishes etc. for others; enjoy an occasional film noir.
Hello!! I'm from Indonesia with Chinese background. I've lived in Footscray area for the last 6 months and would love to try living in other suburbs! I enjoy exploring the city on my own and am looking forward to go on road trips and many other trips for the rest of my stay in Melbourne.
