I'm very considerate and amicable, tidy and communicative. I have very eclectic tastes, play the accordion, love to cook, watch all the movies, like all the musics and am currently starting up a mushroom farm with my partner. I'm super friendly and enjoy a good philosophical yarn over a glass of wine but also appreciate my own space and time alone.
Hey guys, I'm an RMIT student who is looking for a place closer to Bundoora campus. I work in the city so I'm looking for a place that can act as a bit of a middle man between the two places either via public transport or just being closish (I can cycle). I tend to keep to myself a bit though I do have friends over every once in a wild (nothing over the top). I am happy to share meals and cook if that's what you want and I'm always happy to help you guys whenever I can. I'm a bit of a nerd and gamer but I'll try and keep it quiet. I also enjoy exploring the area, up for a good chat and happy to help. Pleased to meet you.
We’re a Swedish couple, taking a break from the Swedish cold for a couple of months! We’re very easy going and want to get to know Melbourne everyday life and culture. Frida, 25, has a working holiday visa and will be working in retail or restaurant. She’s also applying for architecture school in Stockholm and will be working on the admission test in Melbourne. Benjamin, 32, has taken time off from work as graphic designer and project manager in the tech business, to focus on personal startups and to get a nice break from ten years in employment. He will attend tech meet ups, work on personal projects, and do touristy things during the stay.
Hello My name's Richie, I'm 27 years old and moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane to start a new job in Jan 2018. I like to lay pretty low key throughout the week, enjoy exercising, love a wine or two and on the weekends I like to socialise with friends and do or watch pretty much anything sport related. I'd make a great housemate as I'm always up for a chat/banter, but respect that others need their downtime as well. Cheers Richie
Hi y’all! I’m looking for a privit room. New to Melbourne, but I have lived in the Uk, Ireland, Germany for the last 4 years. So I have lived with people from various nationalities that means I’m fully understanding living with mates for sure :) Just exploring and traveling at the moment but my real Melbourne new life will have to start from next week. That’s why I’m looking for a room. I can describe myself tidy, neat, easygoing and open minded person. Can enjoy have a chat with anyone, quite like to have some dinner and drink or two with flatmates. But I’m also very respectful person. Came here for a year with working holiday visa. I can move in straight away as soon as you allowed me to move in. Please just feel free to message me. I’ll have enough time to have an inspection this week. Thanks.
I'm working full time and studying a Master of Public Policy on the side. Auspol and higher education policy is my particular game, but I love a good discussion about anything with a bit of ambiguity. Looking for an organised household that knows how to kick back and celebrate the wins, and with a pretty practical attitude towards home admin.
Hi, I am an 18 year old female, moving from Phillip island to study nursing at Latrobe and am looking for shared accommodation. I'm outgoing and love to have a chat but also enjoy keeping to myself. My hobbies are reading, swimming, tennis and cooking, but I also don't mind going out occasionally too. Looking for a person or group that's also laid back and easy going :)
I am clean, tidy, friendly and kind! I love cooking and am happy to partake in house meals. I like to keep myself busy, and would love to have a place that is quite sociable, to sit and chat away and chill with housemates in the evenings and weekends! I like to stay active and explore Melbourne and the surrounding areas! I have moved over to Melbourne for a 9 month placement at the Florey Institute as part of my degree back at the University of Manchester in the UK. I don't smoke, and have lived in shared accommodation for the past 3 years.
Hiya! I'm on the lookout for a long term room for rent in the inner northern suburbs, anywhere around Fitzroy, Carlton, Abbotsford, Collingwood etc. Just wondering if anyone has anything available at the moment? I'm looking to move between now and early Feb, my price range is anything between $600-$800 pcm (including or excluding bills). Now just the usual little bit about me; I'm super easy going, clean and tidy, easy to get along with and like to hang out. I also really enjoy just a good laugh! I'm not fussy and just want a fun place to live. I have a steady job and this year I'll be studying Biomedicine at Latrobe University. I know I'm a young chicken, although you wouldn't pick it at all. I have experience in share houses, I'm very respectable and low key. Definitely not your usual early 20's party person. I can provide references, payslips, etc. Shoot through a message if you have any questions or think you may have a room. Look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks! Lola
I'm moving from Sydney to Melbourne in early February to study fashion at uni. I'm a fairly relaxed person and spend most of my time working or reading a book. Will be studying and working part time.
Just down to earth Tassie chicks seeking a chilled space to live, that is close to the University of Melbourne and other funky suburbs. We are all full time uni students, about to begin our second year. The three of us are always keen to explore this buzzing metropolis and all it has to offer. We like to think of ourselves as fairly arty farty, outdoorsy and open minded peeps, accepting of all walks of life. Love a laugh and party but also very conscientious with our studies, eager to work hard and achieve good results at uni.
I am currently a masters student in University of Melbourne. I want to have a quiet place to study and relax.I enjoy cooking.I am happy to share meals.I want a place near to a train station. I am fun loving and enjoy hanging with people during the weekends. I prefer to stay in a studio, two bedroom apartment .
I am a 23 year old full time corporate worker who is interested in a room in an existing house with a group of people. I moved to Melbourne in March 2017 and am still somewhat new to the city, however have made friends along the way. On my weekends you will either find me at home chilling out and catching up on films or music, otherwise I will tend to go out and hang out with mates. Interests include NRL, films, music, concerts and reading. Tend to go to the gym as well 4-5 times a week. Looking for a place to call home, and would treat it as my own, keeping a clean and respectable standard to both my own and shared living areas. I am looking for housemates who do not mind a chat in the living areas, or the occasional after work beer. I am clean, and respectful of other peoples space, and have lived in sharehousing before.
Hi There I’m looking to share house with quiet, respectful and easygoing person or people 2 max. I’m quite down to earth, enjoy going to the gym, hiking, relaxing, watching movies and catching up with friends every now and then… I’m a clean and tidy person and happily participate in with household chores… Look forward to hearing from you. Regards David….
I'm a 21 year old social work student and hospitality worker. Looking for a sharehouse with kind, tidy people. I'm a transgender person currently transitioning on testosterone - so I'm looking for housemates that are trans friendly! Thanks friends ♡
Hey guys! I am looking to move in sometime end of Jan/beginning of Feb. Looking to move in for a max of 6 months for now, will extend if I am happy with the place. My name is Danusha Gnanasakaran, I am 24 years old, I work in the cbd as a full time accountant (I promise I am not boring). It's so hard with this early bird thingy, so please find me and drop me a message if there is any room available. Happy to meet whenever needed after 5.30 every weekday and pretty much anytime during the weekend! Let me know if you guys have any questions!
Hi! I'm looking to move into an inner north room ASAP. Will consider Footscray area too. I have accommodation in the place I was renting in Geelong but I no longer need to be there so I'm returning to Melbourne. Me: Clean. Reliable. Respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and can move in any time. No gender household preferred. Audio producer by trade. Maybe I can produce that record you're sitting on if you let me sing harmony backing ;) You: Are who you are and I can fit in around that. I'm an asset to a house share situation so hit me up. I might banter in Suessian rhyme. You may find it sublime. And like my rent payments they are always on time. <3 I've been in Geelong a couple of years for education reasons but that's all in the past (hah). SMASH CUT: (Present Day) I am really looking forward to moving back into Melbourne and establishing myself here and would be grateful to take on that space you have available. Still have accommodation til Feb 15 but I can move at a moments notice and will do so if required. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Originally from Melbourne and excited to be moving back home for Uni after living in Canberra for a number of years. I've just wrapped up my gap year backpacking through Europe and about to begin an arts degree at the University of Melbourne in Feb. I have family in Melbourne and I'll be staying with them until I find accommodation. I love meeting new people and having a laugh so would love to join (or team up and create) a social share house where chats over dinner or going for a drink together isn't unusual. With that being said, I also really value my down time and know when to respect other people's space. More than happy to keep everything tidy, pitch in with chores, be punctual with bills and generally be a kind, respectful roomie. I'm open to starting up a new share house so feel free to message me if you are as well :)
I am looking for a beautiful share house to call home ✨🏡✨ I work full-time at a mental health service - 8:30AM-5PM. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, swing dancing, & time with friends. I enjoy being in nature - bush walking & camping. I am a nerd, who loves to learn. I have lots of books - mostly on psychology, spirituality & health. I am friendly, open-minded, respectful & easy going. I like to live an environmentally conscious life, though I am still mastering this! I like to re-cycle & use natural products. I eat meat, though I am interested to try a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. I don’t mind what you do though! 🙂 I am respectful of shared living spaces & clean up after myself. WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN A SHARE HOUSE? A place to feel at home 🌻 ... with housemates that are welcoming, friendly, open-minded & fun. I am not interested in a party house, but I enjoy a social home - I am down to share a meal, a drink, a chat, or a laugh. I welcome movie & board game nights, & having friends over for dinner. I am very respectful of down time & personal space to. I prefer to live with non-smokers. I come with one bedroom of furniture & kitchen supplies. I will need some storage space for a few extra boxes. I look forward to hearing from you!
Start from 01/02/2018 (time is flexible) I’ll study in UNIMEL for two years. I'm finding a clean and tidy place which is within walking distance of the uni. I’m from China but I prefer to live with people from different countries. About myself, ordinary and a little bit boring person(just a humble expression). Spending the most of spare time thinking about useless questions, watching films (especially classic films) or reading books (topics relevant to politics, economics or psychology), stroll, and also interested in live music and sports. I'm not a totally extroverted person but if you need someone to hang out for drinking, watching films or tennis games, I'd like to join. Could also teams up. Please feel free to message if you're interested
Hello. I'm James. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane starting around March 1st (though if I found the perfect place I could possibly arrive sooner.) I am transferring at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I've had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
Hi there! I am excitedly looking to move out of home for the first time. I am a student at ACU (Fitzroy) while working a part time job (Maribyrnong). I am active so I like to attend the gym and sporting commitments throughout the week. It would be great to make friends or socialise with my house mates in and/or out of the house, even host a party or gathering or two if the house mates are keen! However, as most people do, I like to have my own space at times and will respect your own space. I am looking for a home that is reasonably cheap and that is short walking distance to get to public transport and basic shops for example, grocery/supermarket. I am helpful and friendly, so I believe it is important that myself and my housemates contribute equally to cleaning and helping around the house :)
