I'm very easy to live with - have been living in a family of 6 all my life - I clean when I'm bored or annoyed or upset - I'm not home often, but when I am, I love to listen to music, read, watch movies - I am currently working 5 days a week as a nanny in the afternoons, and as a waitress at a cafe in the mornings a few times a week.
My name is Calvin, and I'm about to start as a PhD student at Deakin University studying Ecology and Conservation in April, looking for a new home! I am originally from Hong Kong, but have been living in London for the past 12 years of my life. I've never been to Melbourne before, but I've heard so many good things about it. I'm not much of a party person, and am very easy-going and chilled. Would love to share a meal now and then, maybe with some wine (or tea), but also enjoy some evenings after a tougher day. I'm also tidy and looking for flatmates who are too.
Enjoy discovering all Melbourne has to offer where it be beer, food or people. Looking for an apartment to call home. Happy to live with people who like to socialize or keep to themselves im pretty easy going so don't mind cooking for the both of us every now and then! Love my sport and have recently got on a big health kick. I work Mon-Fri 8-5pm pretty standard guy.
Hey. We're a young couple (25 and 23) who are moving to Melbourne at the end of March and are looking for a place to settle for 6 months minimum. We're looking for a private double room. We've been travelling around Australia since early December. Home for both of us is back in North Wales, UK. We're both active people who enjoy travelling, snowboarding and socialising over a beer or wine. Also enjoy downtime and can keep our ourselves private too if you wish. We're both tidy people who will ensure we clean up after ourselves. Kate and Addi xo
Hey guys, We're an easy going, fun, happy couple looking for a place to stay. We both work full time (teacher and musician) so always pay rent/ bills on time. We're chilled and enjoy watching movies, going out to see live bands and listening to music with the occasional drink. We would love to hear back from you if you are interested in meeting us send me a message! Peace, Shannon & Crystal x
I'm a pretty easy going and friendly person, i spent most of my childhood in Greece but decided to move to Melbourne and see how it works out :) I study mechanical engineering at RMIT city campus and currently working part-time in a restaurant in Richmond. I love baking and cooking, i have previous experience in a sharehouse, very respectful of private space but totally up for hanging out and chilling whenever :D I listen to rock music and occasionally go to bars and gigs, i love going on walks and of course, binge watching netflix is something im really into!
Hey Teamers! I am working full-time and am a professional human. I moved down from Newcastle, NSW at the start of the year and am looking for someone to share a house with that is cool and easy to be around. I'm pretty relaxed about most things, and am clean and tidy. I don't mind getting down to do housework and can cook semi-reasonably. I don't mind a night or two out at the pub and would love someone to hang out with me whenever I do have a beer or wine. I also love movies and TV series inside on a cold night! Big fan of the AFL and NBA, but am also happy watching cooking shows and what not! :) I play music and love listening to and trading music discoveries with people. I am reliable at paying bills and have a good rental history. It would be tops if you think you and I would be great housemates, so let me know! Thanks, AT
Hello! My name is Meg, I'm a registered nurse and I work full time shift work. I'm currently living in a share house in Hawthorn and I have previously lived in Clifton hill so I have lots of experience living communally. I'm a friendly gal, pretty chill and like living in a clean environment. I'm looking to live with like-minded people who enjoy sharing the occasional meal, going out for brunch or a glass of vino. In my spare time I enjoy checking out art exhibitions, going to music festivals, gigs, yoga and travelling. I'm a very social girl however I'm not looking for a party house. If I sound like someone you might like to live with, let me know :)
Easygoing but responsible person that loves getting to know new people over a meal! Like all things artsy, and like to have people over from time to time but no big parties. Would love a home where I can be friends with my housemate/s, not just acquaintances. Ideally looking for a female-only place, and keen to team up to create a new share house within 30 mins commute of the CBD!
I'm a fourth yeah student at Deakin studying writing, literature, philosophy and art. I'm interested in moving into a sociable and friendly household close to public transport but with parking space available. Something with a yard and or trees would be great :) At the moment I'm in Burwood but would love to move closer to the city in Camberwell or Hawthorn. I enjoy movie and games night as well as cooking. Love film, television and reading, particularly fantasy and sci fi. I'm clean and tidy and respectful of others' spaces but also happy to chat.
Hi future housemate 🙂 My name is Surangi. I work full time as a Project Support Officer in International Development Aid for an ASX-listed professional infrastructure and environmental services company and just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for work on the 13th. I'm a friendly ambivert who enjoys a quiet night in as well as the occasional big night out. I enjoy going out and meeting new people, trying new ciders (not really a wine connoisseur sorry, but hey more for you right?) and exploring my surroundings. But I also love to just relax at home - read a good book or discover a great new TV show. I am trying to be better about getting to the gym regularly but so far it's been a bit of a fail. I am pretty neat and tidy, and easy to live with. I also happen to make awesome shortbread and deliciously addictive Nutella brownies #justsaying😉 I'm looking to share a place with someone/s in their mid 20s - mid 30s with a similar-ish approach to life. Honest, upfront, friendly and clean. No couples or homes with pets please. Happy to go on the lease. My favourite thing to do in Melbourne is attending the Australian Open. And just walking around and exploring. I think that just about covers it, contact me if you're interested by messaging me here, Surangi 🙃
Hi there, I work 4 days a week as a dental nurse and also run my own business as an event florist! In my down time I love to cook and going on adventures with my dog. I'm a bit of a homebody and don't own a TV but do love watching series online or using the SBS and iview apps! I have a cat and a dog, both of whom are apartment trained and love a good snuggle! Ask me anything else you'd like to know :-) Kindly, Lou
Moving from London to Melbourne for the longhaul. We need a short term double room whilst we look for a longer term flat. Easy going, clean!
Greetings :) We are a young professional same-sex couple seeking a teamup for a roomy shared townhouse (or such) in Melbourne, Carlton/ Carlton North or inner East/ North Melbourne. We are both comfortable, clean, easy-going, and love good chats and a bit of fun every now and then but also really value some down-time and rest after a long day of work. We currently live in a cosy apartment in South Yarra, our lease is ending on the 15th of May and we wish to secure a place by early-mid April at the latest. What kind of home we are looking to share: Our main goals with our new home is to reduce the amount of rent we are paying currently and have a bigger home with a roomy backyard and living area. We are looking to team up with 2 other people (don't mind couples) for a 3 bedroom house/ townhouse. Our main requirements are a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (preferably ensuites), a backyard, for the location to be within 10-20km of Melbourne CBD, divided rent up to $600 pcm (exc bills). We have an adorable fluffy feline son named Wilbur who is about 6.5 years old, he is a very calm and well-natured cat. His only activities include intermittently switching from deep sleeping, intense eating and purry snuggling. He is incredibly comfortable and loving with new people, clean, and very self-sufficient. He does occasionally want to play and have a bit of a run around but his most loved activity is curling up to sleep. A little bit about us: We both have full-time 9-5 jobs during the week and prefer quiet evenings during the week, occasionally having dinners with friends every now and then but that is the most we do on weeknights - reserving most of our going out/ socializing and such to weekends. We have a good small bunch of close friends who we love seeing as often as time and energy permits. We love a bit of a boogie once or twice a month whether it be in the form of a cosy little house party or a 5 day doof out in the bush. Despite this, we aren't huge party animals and strongly value a good work, rest, play balance. As housemates, we love cleanliness but also understand that with full-time work and a busy lifestyle sometimes a pristine, perfect home is not always achievable. This is absolutely okay with us but we would always ensure that a thorough clean-up is done at least once a week. We also love a friendly environment at home, having a chat over a smoke, tea or wine once in a while but some nights we just want to retreat into the couch or our bedroom and sleep or binge watch Netflix or documentaries. We also love plants, candles, incense, art, all kinds of music and prefer eating a predominantly cruelty-free, vegan diet. What we are looking for in housemates: - a reliable, honest and compassionate person - transparency and trust-worthiness - MUST be LGBTIQ+ friendly and aware - relatively clean and cat friendly - easy-going, open-minded, well read and responsible - someone who matches similarly to our profile, has a sound work, rest, play balance What we don't want in housemates: - excessive drinking, partying, etc - expectations to socialize all the time - cat allergies/ dislike If this sounds like you or we sound like people you would see yourself living with - hit us up with a little bit about yourself, include your favorite film or song and why you love it. Happy house hunting x
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))

I'm chilled, relaxed in nature and enjoy good company and conversation, I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for 5 years ;) I love the arts and all Melbourne has to offer. Hey my name is Shannon, and my sister and I are planning on moving to Melbourne to live in May. We will be unemployed when we first arrive.. but will be both looking for full time jobs straight away. We are both so much fun to live with and very friendly..
Hello! Originally from country NSW, but have been living in Melbourne for sometime now. I am working full time in the city, in the health industry. I am social person and do like to keep active, spending a bit of time at the gym with a great group of friends. Weekends can often find me on a day trip to the country with my partner, or simply enjoying the colour of Melbourne. A good food and wine festival is always welcome. I am not the raging kind and enjoy some downtime as we all do from time to time. Of course, good food, conversation and the occasional glass of red is a great way to finish a long day. I have shared homes previously, so do appreciate the importance of open communication and respect for both shared and personal space. Chilled, relaxed and looking forward to a place where we can enjoy each others company. Flexible with length of stay.
