I’m 23 from London and will be living in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I will be working full time and looking for a place to live for the next 5 months. I’m a pretty sociable person and do enjoy going out on the weekends. I’m super clean and tidy, but don’t expect my housemates to be. I will be respectful of other peoples’ property, and their personal space. I have been travelling south east Asia and Austria since June so I’m hoping to settle into one place for a couple of months and hopefully make a few friends. Even though I will be working I’m not a boring person, and will most likely be spending my weekends at the beach or going out. I like going out for coffee and going to the gym and would be more than happy if I had housemates that would like to join me.
27 y.o musician who loves having some beers and a socialise, pretty chilled guy looking for some like minded people. any musical related things im doing are always kept to a respectable volume. I work in the trade industry currently so keep pretty regular work hours but am not phased in the slightest by people working hospitality/uni style hours. Dont hesitate to contact about any vacancies or questions you may have, cheers ps says 1 month stay time but happy to go longer than that in the right place 🤙🏽
I am a super clean, tidy, fun person. I would prefer someone who could share the cleaning burden with me, as I would like to keep the place clean and comfortable that we can both call it home. I am really flexible and easy going. I respect personal space but also love to have a chat after work sometimes, depends on your preference. I have a long history of living with other people and have also stayed friends with them. :) I have stable job and income and will always pay rent punctually.
Hi! My name is Charlotte, I'm 22 and from the rainy UK. I'm looking for somewhere a bit more homey than a hostel whilst travelling and working in Australia. I'm hoping to move in as soon as possible and will be in Melbourne for 2 months. When I'm at home I like to chill and watch movies etc, I enjoy hanging out with flatmates but respectful if you want to do your own thing. I like to cook at home and happy to share a meal with others. I keep my living space clean and tidy but not fussy about writing labels on everything.
I’m a danish girl now living in Melbourne and I am looking for a nice and clean place to live. I am interested in arts, design, film and tennis. I have moved to Melbourne because I would like to explore a new city and try something different. I’m social and interested in getting to know my future roomie but I definitely also need to have my own space. -
We are 5 girls from the UK, 2 from N.Ireland and 3 from England. We are on a 1 year working holiday visa just finished travelling the east coast and have decided we want to live in Melbourne for a while. We are fun, easy going and like to socialise. Preferably would like to settle in the next few weeks if possible.
I’m 21 years old, working in the Hospitality Industry! I’m usually out and about during the daytime working, however do go out of a nighttime a lot too! Always love to have a chat and hangout, but do really value my downtime :)
Hi, I’m Becky (35) I'm a disability support worker, study media and communication at La Trobe and every now and then I present children's activities and make balloon animals. My main hobby/interest is comedy. I go out to see stand-up a lot and like comedy tv shows and movies. I also watch documentaries, follow the news and read non-fiction books. Mostly I do my own thing, but I like to socialise with my housemates a bit and have the occasional house dinners or drink. I have all my bedroom furniture and my great grandparent's small table and four chairs. I also have a big painting that can go up in the shared area or my room. I will need somewhere to park my car. I don't care if it is on or off street.
Hi, I'm Nick. I'm going back to uni at RMIT next year and am looking for somewhere to live starting around early december. I currently work multiple jobs in the eastern suburbs so am looking for somewhere in the inner east between Richmond and Box Hill on a train line. I have plenty of experience living independently and paying my own rent and bills with no issues at all. I'm quite relaxed and sociable always up for a chat but also very respectful. I like to get outside and keep active but I like a day or night in as well.
Fun guys who have been travelling around the world for 7 years. Stay in places for a few months. Make new friends. Stay longer if we love it, or else move on. Have previously lived in Melbourne. It’s my favourite city in the world
Hi I'm Michael! I'm a 20 year old student studying Monday to Thursday in the city and working Friday and Saturday nights at a bar in Richmond. I'm a relaxed and generally pretty quiet person, however I'm up for a chat or a social drink every now and then. Most of my time is spent either studying, working, going to the gym, or enjoying some quiet time at home watching Netflix. I like living in a clean and tidy home, and love pets although I don't have any of my own. We are looking for a place with 2 bedrooms available, one for me and one for my friend, Jack, who is a 21 year old personal trainer. We have both moved here from the Sunshine Coast in QLD, I moved in Feb of this year and Jack has just moved down this month (November). He will be working part time and plans on beginning study next year. Looking forward to hearing from you! Any questions please feel free to ask :) Thanks!
I'm Maël, I'm 24, I'm from France and I arrived a week ago in Australia to join my girlfriend Léa who is 22 and has been here for a month already. I've spent the last two months in Los Angeles to make a documentary about the underground art scene of LA. Léa has been working in a farm and winery in Orange for a month. Now that we met here, we plan to come to Melbourne and settle there for few months, work and enjoy in this city we've heard so much about. As a filmmaker, I will try to find some work to do as a videographer and an editor, Léa plan to find a nice job in the neighborhood, depending on the opportunities. We're looking forward to live in Melbourne, discover the cultural effervescence of the city, meet the people, etc. Both of us experienced flatshare and enjoyed it, and we also experienced it as a couple with other flatmates. Everything went perfectly, we are easy going and open-minded people, we love enjoying good things in life. We love to eat and cook good food, to have nice dinners with wine, but also having drinks in bars and go to cultural events (but of course, we also love spending time to chill). Meeting people is the heart of our travel.
Hey there! I have just moved to Melbourne from sunny Brisbane for a new job. I work in a corporate marketing role Mon - Fri and am pretty chilled during the week. On weekends I am keen to check out all the foodie hot spots and adventure around Melbourne. I love the outdoors, keeping active, red wine and home cooking! I am super chilled, tidy and looking for somewhere I can come home to relax. I enjoy my own bedroom space but love to share dinner, wine, movie nights, etc with housemates. Open to either short-term sublets whilst I get my feet on the ground, or anything up to a 12 month lease. My move date is flexible after the 13th November. I will just be bringing myself and a car full of belongings, so my preference for off-street parking is preferable but not a must (open to on-street). Keen to chat further if you think we would be a good fit :)
Hey there!!! I'm a uni student studying culinary. I currently work full time as a chef in d city. Im clean, tidy, helpful and most importantly share house trained. I like my own space but won't mind if u intrude at times. Also you won't be seeing much of me as my work n school takes most of my time. I enjoy long chats over a meal or a few drinks. So if you think I fit into d role of ur ideal housemate then please get back.
Hey! My name is Eefke, 27 years old and I'm from Germany. I love traveling and getting to know new cultures and meeting new people! After just having finished my bachelors degree in architecture at the beginning of this year, I started traveling and would love to continue this great opportunity with the working holiday visa I just received and get to know Australia! I chose Melbourne as a starting point with its grand variety in culture and city life and the ocean nearby. I love nature and exploring outside, cooking together and am into music, dance and art. Growing up with four siblings and a cat, I love company and value a good community! Nevertheless, I respect that everyone needs to take time to themselves and that a clean environment is important for an easy going living together. I am looking forward to meeting you!
Hi, I'm Bonnie! I currently live and work in the Inner East which I really enjoy so am ideally looking to move somewhere in that area once my lease ends in January. I work full time in community health. I'm tidy and friendly and have lived out of home for some time now, so I know the drill when it comes to share houses. During the week you will find me at the gym or catching up with friends and weekends are much the same. I loveee food and eating out but also enjoy cooking at home.
Hello! I'm looking for a new home! I'm 29, vegetarian, love craft beer, music festivals, bass music, meditating, running and cleaning ;) I'm looking for a calm and happy household, I tend to be out the house a lot, but when I'm home I really value knowing my housemates and getting along. I work full time 9-5, happy with long or short term & happy to go on the lease. Ideally I would like to move in the first week of October but I'm flexible for the right place. I look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi, my boyfriend Camilo and I are looking for a place for the next 6 months at least. We are looking for a cozy place that feels like home, love potplants, places for sitting, reading and drinking tea or wine on our own or with our flatmates. We are fine with pets. We are not looking for a party house. We are neat and tidy and used to and happy to share in cleaning duties. I am studying art and photography and work part-time as waitress while also doing a bit of freelancing on the side. Camilo is studying project management and works as barista, cook and soccer coach. We have to move out of our current house on the 15th December latest, but would ideally be looking for a move-in date from the 10th of December. We'd love to hear from you if you think that we'd fit in well in your house.
