I'm a very quiet and clean person. I like to keep my place extremely clean so if you live with me you don't need to worry about that ;) I'm from China and I've lived (Not just traveling!) in 5 different cities across China, Hong Kong, UK, Canada and of course Australia so far. I'm currently studying at University of Melbourne and I'm generally super quiet. I prefer my place to be new (Cuz it would be quite freezing to shower in winter in old house from my previous experience :/ ) I don't accept sharing rooms sorry :/ I don't mind if it's a bit far from my campus or the city as long as it's within reasonable distance from tram/bus stop. Please feel free to let me know if you have any further query :)
Hi lovely people! I'm looking for somewhere fun to stay for an indeterminate amount of time. For the right place, that may be a long time, hopefully with the option of subletting the room when I run off to europe or wherever else. Otherwise, short term works well. I care more about who lives there then how old or big the place is, that said a backyard would be nice. Looking for a good balance of chilling and having fun. About me: I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
I work at HoLey MoLey so if my housemates ever wanted to experience neon-lit mini golf, I can make it happen. I studied film/tv & theatre (can be prone to singing in the shower). My spirit animal is either a giraffe or an otter, apparently. I tend to laugh at my incredibly bad puns. If you enjoy a beverage and chat, Netflix and snacks then shoot me a message.
I’m a 25 year old architect recently graduated from Melbourne Uni. I’m currently working in Prahran for a small architecture practice so I’m looking places around the CBD, anywhere that is somewhat close to work/short travel time . I’m pretty easy to talk to and always pretty much up for a chat/pint of cinder. I spend my free time reading a fair amount or doing some extra design work on the side to earn them extra bucks.
Helloooooo!! I'm a uni student studying languages and development studies, and I work in hospo so I've got enough money for rent and bills etc. I'm kinda sporty (I play hockey for Melbourne Uni, and I enjoy a bit of orienteering too), but I don't go for freakishly long runs every other day. On the fun side, I quite enjoy a beer or glass of wine over dinner, whether its at home or at the pub (love a good pub and beer garden), and I go to gigs and festivals whenever I can afford it. Will happily re-watch GoT or HIMYM at any time and have a long list of tv shows I need to watch. Not the best dinner chef, but will supply homemade cakes, cookies and pickled veg! I also potentially want to start doing homebrew beer, but we'll see how that goes. Also more than happy to live with any furry friends that you may have, especially if they're cuddly. Flexible moving date, but no sooner than Feb 20th as I need to give my current housemate enough time to find someone to takeover my room.

Hey all, 23 year Male looking for a place in Melbourne. I work full time, settled and fairly low key. I make a mean loaf of bread, fail at using Mac’s and know bathroom etiquette. Looking for a place around the $260 mark, no party houses as I am a shift worker and on the west side of Melbourne.
I’m Chloe, 22 and a student looking for a short sublet from the end of Feb/beginning of March - beginning of May anywhere in the Melbourne area pretty much! I’m clean, organised, happy to chat and hang out if other people are up for it!
I am 29 male, will be studying public policy in University of Melbourne, from mid January, 2018. I am a fun loving, cheerful and easygoing person. I am looking for a private room/ensuite/studio/sharehouse near University of Melbourne. Although i will be a post-grad student in Melbourne but I will be equally interested in meeting new people and making new friends. I am caring, affectionate, considerate and very neat. I am normally quiet and keep it to my self but also up for a good laugh, food, movie, BBQ and outing etc. I will be traveling during term break to explore beaches and mountains. I am a sportsman and regularly play Squash, Tennis and Cricket. I intend to take swimming classes since I am an average swimmer and want to improve my swimming skills. I can assure you that i will be a good friend as I highly respect all human beings. I wish to make my stay in Australia very memorable so i can cherish it for the rest of my life. Please don't hesitate to message/inbox with your brief introduction and we can discuss to meet/inspect the place. Best Regards, Altaf
We are friendly, easy to get along with, adaptable to peoples needs (privacy, personal space, sensitivities etc). We tend to carry on with our own agenda but still keep the space lively. :) We create and are into; poetry, music, art, film.. basically anything creative! We are moving Melbourne from Perth in April 2018. :D
I'm 31, and work as a clinical psychologist (science and feelings expert). Not a Melbourne native, but I've been here around a decade. I generally live a quietish life - more likely be having dinner or playing boardgames with friends than painting the town red, but I like a bit of both. Happy to do my own thing, or to socialise with housemates, depending on the vibe. I come with what I'd like to think is a wide range of knowledge, and love an interesting conversation. My former career also equips me with some decent IT skills, in case those would be useful. I'd like a housemate (or housemates) who are tidy, live their own lives, and enjoy a little bit of socialising with the people they live with. Ideally they'd probably be similarly-aged (late 20s/early 30s) professionals.
I'm sociable, tidy and laidback. I'm a graphic designer working full-time in Collingwood. Definitely an avid binge watcher and sometimes need a good drink or two! It'd be awesome to live with someone who I can be friends with, are tidy and loves the occasional Netflix night. I'm also cool with pets so there's no issue there.
Hi Guys! I'm Ben and I am currently on the hunt for new digs! I previously worked at a salary packaging company working shifts between 8am - 7pm but am currently in between jobs and looking for a change to start the new year with! During the week I am too buggered after work to do much but blob out on the sofa binging on Netflix (and soon to be Stan once Rupauls Drag Race comes back on!) but I do enjoy drinks on a friday after a hard week to unwind and occasionally go out to boogie if I'm not too tired. In my spare time I love to garden and usually go straight to work in greening up a place when I'm lucky enough to live in a house with a garden! You'll often find me at the Royal Botanic Garden which is one of my favourite places to visit and eyeing up pot plants at the local nursery thinking hrmm do I have enough space for another houseplant? I grew up in New Zealand and have lived in Melbourne for 8 years now. I would describe myself as pretty laid back, easy going and definately someone that speaks with no filter! I'm a considerate flatmate that doesn't hide in their room all day, keeps shared spaces tidy, likes to have a chat every now and then, but who is also mature enough to know that sometimes you just need your own space! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask away! Cheers, Ben
Originally from Melbourne and excited to be moving back home for Uni after living in Canberra for a number of years. I've just wrapped up my gap year backpacking through Europe and about to begin an arts degree at the University of Melbourne in Feb. I'm a vegetarian but have no worries about sharing with non vegos. I have family in Melbourne and I'll be staying with them until I find accommodation, so move date isn't set in stone. I love meeting new people and having a laugh so would love to join (or team up and create) a social share house where chats over dinner or going for a drink together isn't unusual. With that being said, I also really value my down time and know when to respect other people's space. Having a chilled out house where everyone feels respected, happy and at home is really important to me. Of course, more than happy to keep everything tidy, pitch in with chores, be punctual with bills and generally be a kind, respectful roomie. I'm open to starting up a new share house so feel free to message me if you are as well.
I'm moving to Melbourne from Coffs Harbour to work for a renewable energy company. I have lived in share houses since moving out of home and love them! I enjoy rock climbing, photography and urban exploration.
Hi! I'm Georgia. I'm from the country and moved down to Melbourne three years ago for uni. I have just graduated from the Academy of Design Australia with a bachelor of design majoring in communication design and am currently looking for full time work since finishing my degree. I am pretty clean and don't leave my stuff lying around. I do not mind friends/partners of other housemates visiting as I myself have my boyfriend over a few nights a week and enjoy having friends over for drinks on the odd weekend. I am very respectful of other peoples belongings and would never do anything to damage anything. I like learning guitar and listening to music. I love animals and am cool with there being pets living in the place!
My name is Linh and I'm currently looking for a place to stay in Footscray. I am clean, tidy, responsible, respect other's privacy and always pay rent on-time. I am quiet, but don't mind having a chat/hang out together from time to time. I work full time from Mon-Sat and go to church on Sunday, so I eat out most of the time and don't often cook. During my spare time, I play video games, watch movies and study or hang out with my friends.
Hi I'm Hannah and I'm currently studying both a Bachelor of Science at RMIT and Veterinary Nursing. Moving out of my current place because it's too expensive and looking for something a bit closer to Camberwell where I am work placement. I am looking for my own room in either a little granny flat or a share house with some similarly aged people that is close to public transport so I can get into the city easily for uni! I am super friendly, love to socialise but at the same time respect other people's privacy. I always clean up after myself and have been living in a sharehouse for the last two years so I know the drill! Message me if you think you might have somewhere I might like :) Hannah
* Great Tenancy record (Past 3 Years) * Quiet and avoids making noise during Resting hours. * Will accompany to the nearest Chinese place for a bite.
Right now I'm living with 3 in Amsterdam, studying architecture in Delft and run a small architectural design studio. From February I'll be doing an exchange semester at the Melbourne Uni for at least 5 months, which is why I'm looking for a room in this awesome city! My friends would say I'm a really easy going, organized dude, who of course enjoys his beers from time to time and pretends to know how to jam the ukulele. Besides loving to have people around me, I'll know when to leave someone alone from time to time. At the same time I'm into all kinds of sports, from playing squash to kickboxing, and with all lot of commitment I'm cruising the city on my penny.
