I am looking for somewhere new to live. I am a freelance graphic designer who works mostly from home, so I am flexible when it comes to locale, but not having a car, I prefer to stick to the inner city and its surrounds. While I am not unsociable, and am up for a drink/meal/laugh with housemates, I am fairly low-key at home, respectful of everyone’s space, pretty easy-going, tidy and I pay my bills on time. So, what do you say? Let’s do this . . .
Hi. I'm a quiet guy who mostly keeps to himself but I have good morals, am extremely tidy and respectful of others' privacy. Looking to work in Security Industry but for now am on Centrelink benefits.
I'm an easygoing, second year Melbourne uni student studying Bachelor of Science with Pre-med. I have moved around a lot. I used to live in Australia, moved to the US during high school, and moved back here for uni. I love working out, swimming and being outdoors in general. I spend a lot of time studying but like to go out once or twice a week. I'm fairly neat and like to cook a little.
A couple from England currently holding a working holiday visa. We are looking for full-time employment and so are keen to find accommodation that suits our interest. We are sociable, out-going, enjoy sports, cooking and watching films :)
Hi I'm a TV journalist and comms manager into dance, food, travel, languages, AFL, beer/cider/wine, nature, trying new things, adventures, meeting new people. I've lived in France and West Africa, and speak French too. I'm very laid back and get along with everyone and I'd love to meet people to explore Melbourne with!! I'm clean and tidy but I don't consider the meaning of life to be cleaning activities. I do not live with people who have narcissistic personality disorder. I'm looking for a decent sized place with a lockable bedroom, heating and preferably a backyard but not essential. Happy to catch anyone 20-35 years old who thinks we'd get along.
Hi, We are Nikki and Paul both 27 from Northern Ireland. We are 2 friends travelling and have just arrived in Melbourne from Perth. We are looking for a twin room but also happy with a double. Both enjoy a drink but also like chilling during the week and watching Netflix. We are looking to move in by 29th May if possible. If you want to know anything else please get in contact :)
Hey there potential roomie! So about me, well, I currently work fulltime in a law firm as a Legal Assistant (8:30am to 5pm). I love to cook, shop, chill with friends and just do pretty much normal things! I also, understand that people like space, just as I like my own, but I am ALWAYS willing to do new things, and this is for sure one of them! Speak soon, hopefully :) x
Hey guys, I'm Canadian/ Hong Kong. I'm a student. I'm funny, out-going and sometimes silly. We can chill and do roommate stuff. But sometimes I need my own personal space. Other than that not much. Oh, I have stayed in AUS for 2 years already when I was here on my working holiday visa. Loving every moment of it!!! Looking for a roommate to share a flat near CBD. Hopefully close to my school. LGBT friendly because I want to meet new friends =)
Hi I'm Mathilda, I finished studying fashion design in Canberra and now want to continue my studies in Melbourne at the RMIT Brunswick campus. Im clean and tidy, respectful of other peoples space, and the vibe of the household. Love gardening, cooking, cycling and sewing. Would be looking to move in late June if possible.
Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am staying about an hour away from uni. The commute is taking up a lot of my time and also stopping me from attending quite a few activities at the uni. So I am looking to move to a place closer to uni. ideally within 20 mins of the uni by bike. Move date would be sometime during the month long semester break which starts towards the end of June. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but I am hoping to win the war someday.
I am a very easy and outgoing person....love being tidy, love my music and cooking.... I'm medical graduate coming to Melbounre for master degree of public health. I'm not perfect but I always try to be open minded, respectful, flexible, caring and passionate about life. I work hard, and play hard as well. I love travelling, intellectual conversations, walks along the bush or beach, films and Ukulele, foods and drinks... just too many things I enjoy and I'm always happy to explore new stuff as well.
I am an Indian and a fashion design student. Words I would use to describe myself would be independent, studious and organised. I am a neat freak too (OCD) hence would prefer to have my own room. Besides that I am a friendly, frank and social person. In my free-time I like to sketch, read, watch series or even write. I don't drink or smoke.
Hello, My name is Caldera and I'm 24. I currently a professional who is working. I'm a confident, tidy, helpful and outgoing person. I am now living at Springvale (at a share house) and is very tiring for me to drive from here to work. Therefore I plan to move to a place in the north or north west, which is also close to public transport to City, and also to a great happy neighbourhood. I hope to meet you all soon, so contact me by calling or messaging. Thank you. Caldera.
I am a 25 year old male professional working in the CBD, looking for good flatmates and a furnished home. I enjoy jogging, nature, music (progressive / trance), animals (especially dogs) and have an interest in businesses / entrepreneurial ideas. Fairly clean but not ocd either. Respectful of other people's space but up for hanging out and having a chat sometimes. Looking for a flatshare for 3 to 12 months at this stage and preferably close to a train station. Keen to move out to be closer to work and be more independent.
My name is Laura I’m 23, currently studying nursing and working part time as a carer. I am ideally looking for somewhere in the Inner West. My max budget is $200 pw but ideally would prefer between $150-170. My intention is to move mid July preferably after the 13th but could be earlier if I find the right fit. A little about me: I am studying nursing in Geelong (I am usually there about 1 day a week), I work as a carer (presently I have contracts in Port Melbourne and Richmond but this changes on a regular basis) I work mostly days but can have the occasional late night. I am financially secure and capable of paying my bills on time. I am happy to contribute to household tasks such as cleaning. I enjoy cooking, travel, watching TV etc. I would describe myself as more of a homebody, although I enjoy going out to movies, brunch, dinner or the occasional drink. I have a sarcastic sense of humour so as long as you understand sarcasm, don't mind a laugh, drink or tv I'm extremely easy to get along with. I am looking for housemates that are happy to share a meal or a drink when we can, have a chat or watch a tv show. But also doesn't mind some alone time.
Hey, I'm an easygoin chaperino, working and studying part time. Message if you have any rooms on offer or would like to team and find a place ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ
Hi, my name is Shelby and I'm 21 years old. I'm a very relaxed and easy going person. I'm currently working out at the airport and I do work shift work. I'm a very neat and tidy person and always clean up after myself. I'm very outgoing and enjoy the occasional drink or two on the weekend, but am also just as happy staying in and watching Netflix. I play basketball twice a week and enjoy being active.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. I would like a safe place to stay for 10 months. I plan to move interstate in March/April 2018 to study. But I promise to pay my bills and rent until then! I am going through naturalization. Based in the inner Western suburbs, but would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Glen Iris, Malvern, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington It needs to be close to public transport BUT with a parking spot, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go PS: I share a lovely 3 level townhouse in West Footscray. My housemate is a passive-aggressive alcoholic man who is getting divorced. We have just been given 3 months to vacate. I am looking to move out/in in mid-June, July or August. If you are considering asking me to share a house with you, I think we would get along if you are: - not an alcoholic. I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working/not a student) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I am not obliged to be your psych/best friend) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting or cursing at me; please approach me in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. If I were to share a house, the room must be: - LARGE (at least 3.5m by 3.5m), must fit double bed and desk with room to move - have large BIR - have an ensuite bathroom I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas/water/electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
I’m 23 and I work in the Film and TV industry. I’m going to be a world famous movie Director one day but until then I’m just working and making shorts & music videos. When I’m not doing that I’ll be cooking, drinking with friends, watching movies and TV, and going out for coffee and brunch. I’m from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, NSW, I studied and worked in Canberra for 4 years, then I worked and traveled in Europe last year. Now I'm moving to Melbourne for work and play and I need a new home! Back in Uni, I was a Senior Residential Support Officer (RA) for two years, so I getting along with people I live with used to be my job. Since then I rented an apartment for a year with one of my best friends and we got along famously. I’d like to live with people who are as sociable as I am. Having your own space should be something you can share with new friends and old, so I want to be able to invite over friends and hang out together. My interests are: - Going on adventures and taking photographs. - Film, TV and Movies. - I love music and making playlists. - Coffee, Brunch, Beer and Kebabs. - Spicy Memes and YouTube videos. - Cooking for others and drinking as a group. - I do Movember every year. My lifestyle choices are: - I like to have a good sleep cycle, eat well and I’ve started taking cold showers and exercising in the mornings. - I’m an anti-smoker and I believe in hugs not drugs, but I don’t hold it against people. - I like to keep a clean house, a clean room, and a clean body. - I’m currently single and looking to meet someone. - I’m trying to save money this year for either my next travels or my first feature film. If you are interested in having me over for an inspection or meeting me for a team up, please send me a message or call me any time. I’m really open and I'm looking to meet new people, and make new friends, so I’m always down for a good coffee or a cold beer.
Hi, I am a Masters of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I am an international student with previous experience living in shared accommodation. I am pretty easy going, conscientious and respectful. I like to keep busy and like exploring new places, but am equally at home catching up with housemates over a beer or two. Being vegetarian transitioning towards vegan, I tend to cook for myself but am always open to finding out what others think about my food. I like keeping my surroundings clean and appreciate clean people. I am also environmentally conscious and would enjoy living with similar humans. I am looking for a room in a house or a flat which I could call home for at least the next 6 months and am looking to move asap.
Most important thing for me when sharing a house is being respectful of shared spaces. Cleaning after you eat, no dirty pans in the sink, and cleaning the bathroom regularly. After that living with people should be easy. I am professional working full time and have recently been offered a job in Melbourne. I'm from the UK and have just moved to Aus 9 months ago to adelaide with my wife. She will be staying in adelaide until we she can leave her job and we can find a place together. I do have to work some night shifts so I would be grateful for some quiet during the day when I'm on a run of nights. I have loads of interests- scuba diving, movies, comedy, travelling, house music (don't worry I won't be playing this), running, F45, astronomy etc... plenty to talk about. I am sociable, fun and enjoy getting to know people. I am clean but not OCD. I would treat the flat/house like it was my own and expect the same from other flat mates. Give me a call or text if this matches with what your looking for Jin
