I'm a clean and social person and I respect other's privacy as well. I study psychology and am working mostly otherwise and keep to my own. I also like to cook so yeah, if any of the boxes are a tick, hit me up. Thanks
Hi all, myself and my friend are currently looking for one additional housemate to team-up and sign a 6-12month lease (depending on agency). Preferably a town-house but an apartment will do if we cant find anything else We both work full-time in Southbank in an Engineering firm and are pretty easy going. We respect everyones privacy and are always clean and tidy Please send me a message if your interested in this team-up and we can have a chat about it in more detail Thanks Henry
I have all the following key good roomie attributes: - uses headphones to listen to music - washes own dishes, takes out trash - shares food - doesn't walk around nude - not an axe murderer 29 year old advertising professional from Singapore, here on a working holiday. I’m a clean, quiet and considerate housemate; respectful of others' space and enjoy having my own too. Mostly spend my free time outdoors / reading / exercising, am always up for a chat and a cheeky wine but very happy to do my own thing as well. Hit me up if all this sounds good. Thanks!
I'm a recent graduate and now looking for a place to stay for the summer and possibly/hopefully) longer. I'm usually quiet, and laid-back and would love to share the house with people sharing the same traits. I would love to connect with people that I'll share the house with, so house dinners, board game nights, movie sessions are some of the things I would want to do as a house together :) I often work at home so if you have a strong, unlimited internet connection, you are the One! :)
Fun Irish guy. Working 6 days a week. Looking for my first Australian home. Conscientious, clean and quiet. Working 6 days mostly. If not going on surfing trips. Looking for a chilled house with fun people.
Hey guys, 28 year old Half Australian/Japanese Male looking for a new place to live! I currently manage Irish Pub in the city full time, but outside of work, I'm very chilled. I've also got two degrees, a Bachelor of International Relations and a Masters Degree in Public Policy, but I'm delaying my move into governance as I'm really enjoying hospitality management at the moment. I'm also fluent in Japanese, and have cooked professionally in the past! My main interests outside of the above is of course, travel, football (soccer), losing money on the ASX.
I am Mohyee 33 years old guy, who works in management consulting. I have moved to Melbourne recently to settle down and live here. I am looking for a room in a shared place for 3 months. I am an easy going, clean and tidy person who respects people's privacy and expect the same from others. I always like to make new friends and to get to know new people.
I am a Canadian backpacker visiting Melbourne for two months. I am a very friendly person and great to live with! I am respectful of others property and very clean. I have lived in a house with 5 other people and the house was always kept tidy.
Hey, my name is Ajay (30, born & raised in Melbourne w/ Indian background). Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
LOOKING AGAIN! Last place fell through! I'm reliable, tidy, friendly, can cook & always pay my bills on time. I'm willing to pull my weight with the cleaning & am respectful of others needs & privacy. I'm a Kindergarten teacher and do temp agency work within northern & western suburbs. In my spare time I like to catch up with friends, go shopping, go to the movies, go to markets or visit family in country victoria. I need a little storage space for containers of work books & resources- even if its at the back of a garage. Feel free to send me a msg ;-)
Moving over to Melbourne from Adelaide in January. Will be studying my Masters of Occupational therapy at La Trobe Uni. Working part time. Looking for a place north of the city Brunswick, Preston, and surrounding areas up to Bundoora. Like to keep it semi quiet over the week while working/studying. Love a froffy over the wknd, getting out doing bits, exploring the city as from Adelaide! Fun, social, always up for chat.
Hi everyone, My name's Dylan, 23, from Belgium and working here full time. I've spend few months already in Melbourne and I love it! Clean and reliable person, I'm use to live by myself and with people in a share house as well. Planning to stay few month more here in Melbourne, I really wanna find a place with my own room. Hope to hear news from you soon, have a wonderful day :)
Message me! I have early bird! I work full time with kids with autism at a primary school. In my free time, I play sports (ice hockey, powerlifting) which keep me pretty busy during the week. I also like to ride my bike, go for walks/runs, go to cafes, listen to music, and read. I like my Netflix but am not one to watch much TV. I'm vegan -- huge bonus to vegan/vego houses! I'm mindful of electricity, gas, and water usages. I know how to recycle. I try hard to limit my rubbish. I'm like a nice mix of hippie and yuppie. I have a pet rabbit. She's a floppy eared mini lop. She's desexed and very cute, sweet, and clean. A bit hesitant and shy (like most rabbits) but loves (LOOOOVES) pats. And food. I've been keeping her in my room which I'm happy to keep doing. You hardly know she's there. I can provide references from previous housemates to attest to her cleanliness. Remember: by law it is on the real estate agents/landlords to provide a good, valid reason to deny a pet or to ask tenants to remove their pets from the premises. They are also not legally allowed to evict a tenant because of a pet. I'm quiet and like a quiet place to come home to. I'm respectful of fellow housemates and common areas, am pretty clean and tidy (but not a neat freak), and always pay rent and bills on time. I generally do my own thing. I'm out and about and talking to people all day and appreciate some recharge time at home, but can be up for a chat! LGBTI friendly, non-smoker. I don't have a car so parking isn't an issue and I won't take up a parking space. I ride my bike (push bike) and need a place close to public transport. I can move in from December, flexible move in date.
I’m a fun and easygoing travel agent just returned from a couple of years living in London. I’m a very social person, I would love to find some super friendly housemates who are up for a chat or a meal or a Netflix binge sesh. I’m typically very neat and tidy but I don’t really care if other people aren’t. While I love to party I’m also super respectful of my housemates and neighbours and keep the noise to a minimum through the week.
Hi, I am Ren. My budget is 160-170 per week inclusive of bills. I'm looking for a smoke/420 free home with friendly and social housemates on the North or East side of Melbourne (studying Master of Social Work at Monash Caulfield). I can do furnished or unfurnished. I rented for 7 years through leases and sublets in Brisbane. I'm nerdy, friendly, and genderqueer. I'm house trained, but I would suit a more easygoing house due to chronic health issues. Long term lease preferred.
My name's Ang, I'm 29, I work an office job M-F in Collingwood, but I travel a lot for work so am not home super often and I visit people interstate most weekends. So if you're the type of person who wants a housemate around regularly...we're probably not the right fit. Although I would love to hang out when I am around every other week! I am looking to share with someone who is chilled out and easy going for the time that I am around :) I love eating out, the Simpsons, reading, snowboarding, cycling, beers, playing games and staying fit. My move date is flexible, but essentially looking to move in the first half of Feb19 for anywhere between 6-12+ months, potentially longer if things work out well.
Hi there, I'm Julia. I am a 29 year old freelance photographer and artist. I'm looking for a room available earliest December 11th. But I can move in a little later than that. I'd like to live in or close to Thornbury. Other Suburbs of interest would be Preston, Northcote, Brunswick... I'm a Queenslander who has been here for two years. I miss my morning surf, but love the creative nature of Melbourne and the artists I meet. I can pay around $600p/m rent, would prefer female or non-binary housemates, but am I'm open to a share house that has an ok balance. My wish for a home would be that it is not too far from public transport, and although it doesn't have to be a vegetarian house, I am vegetarian. I've got a lovely partner who will come over some nights. She's a wonderful cook. I would love to have a glass of wine with you from time or time or watch a movie. But I also respect personal space too and to be honest, can be quite an introvert, especially when I am lost in my editing or my health is down. My hearing is in the low range so communication may be touch and go, we'll just need to meet and see. I hear women best and in a quiet environment I can carry a decent and usual conversation. My health condition (a migraine type afffair) affects my energy levels, so I would - with my freelance work also considered, spend a lot of time at home base. If you have any pets I'd be happy to meet them and even occasionally petsit ;) Please feel free to message me. If you are more than 20 minutes drive from Thornbury, it won't be suitable. I can move in a little later than the date I have provided. It is flexible. Just let me know and we can meet and discuss. Cheers, :)
