Hi ! I am a 22-years-old-French-student and I will work at the RMIT University for 5 months in aeronautics. I am easy going but also respectful with others. I enjoy sports, sharing dinners and drinks ! As I am very happy to come to Australia, I want to discover this country and ready to visit anything. I currently live in an house shared with 3 mates in France hence I know how it is to live with flatmates.
I am a tech communications professional and a programmer looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. I am very passionate about my work but also very social and outdoorsy. I enjoy Melbourne's amazing food and coffee scene and culture and enjoy being outside as much as possible. I do yoga and running and also hike a lot. Considering myself an extremely easygoing flatmate. Don't do partying but definitely don't mind a wine glass (or two) with my roomies once in a while. :)
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Easy-going, clean and tidy working professional from Perth making the move to the big smoke for a change of pace. Work in the water/development sector as a consultant, am a freelance writer in my spare time and enjoy stand up paddle boarding and random road trips. I like cooking/baking, am a little obsessed with coconut, make a mean guacamole (perfectly paired with a good pale ale) and am happiest near water. Recently drove across the country from Brisbane to Perth (via Darwin) by myself and love getting outdoors/camping when I can (hiking buddies would be very enthusiastically welcomed). Hoping to find equally laid back housemates who don't mind sharing a meal or a drink :)
Hi there! Student at Monash Uni doing law, and working part time. I'm generally pretty busy, but am pretty social and love talking over a drink/food! Lived on my own for almost 4 years, so am very well trained - clean up after my self, can keep noise to a minimum, and am generally understanding and approachable.
I'm a working holiday visa holder from Shanghai, China. I was a fashion buyer before coming to Austrlia, love fasion, love music, love taking photographs and also free lifestyle. It's great to make more new friends and get to know Australia better during my stay. Hope to share house with you!
g'day mates, my name is tim i am 19 years old and yes i am a back packer from germany. i am very open minded to new stuff so I like to meet some new people and want to learn about the australian people as well. that's the reason why i am looking for a room right now. my hobbies are surfing and longboarding and my plan is to work here in melbourne for a couple of month until i earned enough money to travel. for this time i prefer to life in a flat.
I'm nice, neat, organised, easy-going, flexible, friendly etc. Your dream housemate, I imagine? About to start studying a JD at unimelb so looking for housing around that area, preferably with like-minded individuals. I usually enjoy kickboxing, reading, discussing, the arts, accruing onerous amounts cultural capital, being a Christian, dogs, psychology, law-things. I'm not heaps into party houses, looking for something more low key but no shadows passing in the night vibes, let's be for real mates.
I'm an easygoing PhD student at Melbourne Uni, so I spend most of the time in the lab and go to the gym. I respect other's space, time and rest but I'm always open for a chat, cooking together or outdoor activities.
Hey! I'm Doug, I’ve just moved from Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. A tad about myself I work on Gertrude I'm an actor and an affable, young, clean, modern day gentleman. I’m honest, generous and happy to go with the flow. I’m a massive chiller, I like to be tidy and clean and I’m basically just a normal boy next door type of a guy. Don't want to live with more than 3 other people and would prefer 1 or 2. Have shared housed a lot and consider myself a well groomed flatmate.
HI! We are two housemates currently living in a student hostel but are now looking for two separate rooms in a more permanent and homely place. Preferably just outside the city, with independent housemates that also enjoy the occasional communal dinner, good movie, night out or just a casual chat over a glass of wine. Hi i'm Lynn. I'm beginning my third year of architecture next year, I'm really passionate about it and probably talk about it a little too much... I'm originally from the Netherlands and speak Dutch fluently, but I grew up in Australia. In my free time I enjoy; drawing and other artistic pursuits, exploring new bars (and the occasional club) with friends, interesting conversations, drinking coffee at a nice cafes and reading a good book in the botanical gardens. I'm vegetarian and enjoy baking when i have the time. I also love to travel, I’ve seen a lot of Europe and have always wanted to go to South America. Hey, I'm Odessa. I'm about to start my second year of uni, studying visual arts at RMIT. I also work part time for COM doing school crossing supervision/admin work...If you don't know what that is, it's a lollie pop lady haha weird job for an 19 year old I know. I also enjoy playing the ukulele and singing but dw I won't keep anyone awake. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast so I love sun baking and going to the beach when I can.
I'm an international student, currently studying a master degree in professional accounting. I spent most of my time studying at home or the library. I'm working a part time position in audit and i'm about to start studying to get my vic drivers license, even though i can drive with my Ecuadorian driver's license. I'm a calm person and the only thing really important for me is respect, i know what sharing a house involves meaning that you need to respect other people space and time i don't like people i share with bringing more people over for drinks during week days until late night cause i need to sleep to get up early for work and uni. Maybe a friday or saturday it's fine. I'm more a movie at home type of person or go to the beach on weekends and do some sightseeing around Melbourne. I love to live in a clean tidy environment wich means i leave the kitchen and commons spaces clean and i expect to find it the same way. So basically respect is the most important. If i find the right place i will stay one year at least or more.
I'm down to earth, very open-minded, tidy and easily sociable. I have lived with others since I moved out of home 4 years ago so I have some experience in living with friends and people I hadn't met prior. I happily keep combined/communal areas clean and understand that personal space is a must. I am all up for the combined dinner and drink with the household every now and then as well though. I am not looking to live in a party house, just a place that I can call home and feel comfortable in. The biggest place I've lived is Geelong and I am to start a new job as a Registered Nurse (Grad) at St Vincent's Hospital, Fitzroy. I'm very much looking forward to soaking up some of the "Melbourne lifestyle" while I'm young and able to do so. Any info/direction from new housemates would be greatly appreciated. It would be ideal that my new housemates were like-minded people that held similar values of respect, personal space and sociability as myself. I have one cat, Peppa, who is 9 years old and just as a cat is, friendly, cute meow on her and sleeps a lot. She is 100% indoors, and I would need to feel confident that the people I live with would ensure she didn't get out of a forgotten window or open door - Melbourne traffic wouldn't be kind to her I don't think. NOTE: Although I want her with me and she's so low maintenance, alternative arrangements have been made for her to live in if I am unable to have her in my accommodation. Also I have a little hatchback that I would like an off-street park for (if possible) to keep it safe while driving it minimally. Looking to move preferably early-mid January 2017 as I start my new job on the 23rd of January - Willing to move earlier if need be.
Hi, I'm Fin. I'm looking for somewhere to live while I study at RMIT. I am a clean and tidy person, I love to attend social events, but also like my privacy as well. To be short, I am all about good vibes and good times.
Hey I'm Ali, I'm from the UK and i've been living and working in London for the past couple of years. I've just touched down in Melbourne and I'm on a working holiday but looking to get settled as quickly as possible. I'm an easy going, sociable guy who's up for a laugh and after one week here I'm loving the brunch, gin and the sun vibe this city has going on... keen to meet some new likeminded people :) Peace.
Hello! Looking to join a sharehouse/flat ASAP with my floofy friend, John. Looking for somewhere Carlton North/Brunswick East area and would like it to be a house where everyone can feel comfortable and hang out together as well as have their own lives and adventures. Would prefer to live with people of a similar age but this isn't compulsory. A BIT ABOUT ME I am 25 and a creative type with an interest in science/technology. I play video games and am mostly vegetarian but cannot sustain due to health reasons. LGBT+friendly, sometimes introverted but love company. I can talk forever about pretty much anything, any philosophical topics on your mind will not go undiscussed! I'm finishing up my photography degree next year and at the moment about to start volunteering for Lort Smith.
Hi! I'm looking for a room to share with my partner Nic. I'm an artist and writer, I just finished studying at the VCA art school and am now working as a freelance artist. Nic is also an artist and performer, currently studying Creative Arts at La Trobe. We love meeting new people, but are overall mellow and easy-going, and importantly reliable. We are able to move in straight away.
Hey I'm Mary! Currently looking for a room as my housemates in West Melb are moving home to Perth. Working full time @ Monash Uni, otherwise I'm at the gym or out with friends. Super easy going, friendly and clean! Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks xx
Hi :) I am Maya mid 20's, Brazilian and my boyfriend is Viv early 30's, Australian. We are both responsible, happy, respectful and easy going. Both non smokers and are very clean people used to live in shared houses. We have recently returned to Melbourne after spending a couple of months in Brazil and have no fixed home and no concrete plans. We are currently looking for a place to live for a couple of months from February. We can be flexible, but at least 3 weeks would be nice. Camping, traveling, movies, video games, chilling or hanging out with friends is how we like spending our weekends. Also enjoy an occasional wine/beet afrer work or a few drinks on the weekend. We are both adaptable, responsible and we will still have our 9 to 5 jobs in Melbourne CBD and this is the reason we are looking for something as close as possible to the centre/ max 20min by train/tram. Feel free to msg here and let us know if you have any questions at all Cheers Maya&Viv

I am looking for a place where I can have my own space (private room) to sleep and study (when Im not at work), but I am also friendly and easygoing. Thanks:)
Hey! I'm a 22yo vet science student looking for a home. I'm generally laid back, clean and reliable, drama-free, looooove animals if you have any pets, and I come with some cute plates/mugs/bowls, an extensive book and magazine collection, and some random paintings for the house if there are any free walls that need decorating. Work two jobs (retail/hospo), try to volunteer in my spare time when I can. Don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions or a house that you think I'll fit into! Cheers
My name is Caitie, I'm 24, originally from Adelaide but have spent two years living in London and the past year living in Melbourne. I work full time in South Melbourne, so I'm pretty melow on weeknights, but enjoy socialising and being out and about on weekends. :)
Hey! A bit about me, I study 3 days a week and work 3 days a week in retail in the city for a store called Bassike. I study acting and am a creative person. Im social & relatively active, very clean in communal areas and can take care of myself. I love the natural light in the space. Looks awesome. Hopefully I can come see the space next week
I'm Blake - I'm 25 and work full time in the aviation industry. I've recently relocated back to Australia after a stint overseas, and then subsequently down to Melbourne from Sydney. I enjoy my quiet time at home, and I'm neat and tidy - looking for similarly minded housemates, though definitely ones up for a chat every now and then :)
Hi future flatmate, I'm a very easy-going, clean, responsible, uncomplicated and respectful person. I've lived in shared apartments before and have always gotten along with my flatmates really well. I'm usually at uni or working during the week and spend my free time and evenings with friends or doing flips and getting thrown in the air (I'm a competitive cheerleader ;)). When I'm home I like to relax, cook delicious meals and bake even more delicious treats. I enjoy spending time on my own but am also always up for a good chat. If you feel like we'd be a good fit shoot me a message :) Excited to hear from you. Angelika
My boyfriend and I are looking for a place to live while studying at Latrobe and Vic Uni. We've both lived in share houses before. We are both friendly, chilled and love music, will hopefully be getting out and going to gigs as often as we can. Cameron loves his gaming and we both enjoy being couch potatoes from time to time, we also like getting outdoors and going adventuring. We both hail from the country, so still adapting to the city life.
British Permanent Resident looking for person/people to start a flat share with from January. I work in residential education and will be at work upto three nights per week. When I am home, I am looking for flatmates who want to share house dinner or trips to the pub. I am looking for this to be a Home as opposed to being a place groups of people live. I like to keep a clean house, but am more then happy with the lived in vibe. For a potential flatmate, I am not bothered about Gender, Race, Age, Relationship Status etc as long as we get along, you are happy to pay half the rent and be on the tenancy then I think there will be no issues. I am looking for anywhere in the Northern Suburbs and am quite happy to wait for the right house.
Hi, i'm Clothilde, i'm french, I have just arrived on melbourne and I am looking for a nice roommate. I am jovial, respectful and organized. I like going out, dancing, meeting new people and cooking.

I am going to be a teacher. Dion - He is a friendly and nice person who loves making others around him laugh. He is moving to Melbourne to be with me and to have a new beginning in life. We are looking for a one bedroom apartment in the city in a condo. We are responsible and will pay the rent and bills on time.
Hi, My name is Paola, I'm 26 and I'm a kindergarten teacher. I've been renting with other people for the past eight years. I'm originally from Italy and have lived in Melbourne for the past four years. I'm reliable paying rent and bills. I'm neat and tidy and enjoy keeping the place clean. I'm looking for a single room in a shared house where I can share a meal or a drink with my housemates as well as have my own privacy and quiet time. I rely on the public transport system so I am looking for a place near a train station or tram line. Feel free to message me if you think you have a place to suit my needs. I am looking for a place to move in from February 2017.
Hey, I'm Scott, and I'm making this ad on a Saturday night, while eating chicken schnitzel and drinking beer. Says it all really. I'm moving to Melbourne as of the 1st of January, from sunny/humid Brisbane; and I'd actually love somewhere to park my caboose at night! I'm gainfully employed, punctual with rent/bills, and respectful of space/cleanliness. I am a bit shy at first, and try not to impose on space or people or anything - but it would be great to make some new friends in town. In my free time, I kind of run the music/video games/tv gamut (if you're excited for RPDR S9, hmu), and I love to bake desserts (plus I clean up after myself). What am I looking for in a share house? I need somewhere to stay short-term, around four weeks to two months, and furnished; everything else is open to negotiation.
Hi my name is Kurt, I work in a call centre in central Melbourne full time, and generally work a 9-5 or 11-7 shift. I am currently staying in Fitzroy on a holiday working visa from England. I am working in the city from 9-5 week days. I am a very chilled guy looking for a flat or house share with same minded people who aren't into going out every night but still want to have fun on the weekend :) could commit to 6 months in a place as I would love to feel settled over Christmas.
I am a bright and charismatic 25 year old, music and movie nerd, working as a cleaner for myself and for a company so rent and bills will not be a problem. What I like to do outside of work, I enjoy listening to some Pink Floyd, Bowie or Zepp (yes this is all stoner music but I am not a stoner I can assure you), playing keyboards and sketching and because it's now that time of the year you will find me going for crazy walks or runs just in time for summer. I like to read, sing, play music, cook, draw and paint and learn about almost anything and very passionate about life. Weekends I enjoy a night outs at gigs or bars generally in Fitzroy and Brunswick, where else? I am very respectable of people's privacy/me time and I am not a loud nor a messy person. My occupation is a cleaner so I like to keep my areas neat and tidy. I do enjoy spending time by myself when I've has a big day at work but I can assure you I'd be one fun housemate! I do like to play music a lot but will happily respect the household if they do not wish for me to play music all the time. I am looking for a mix gender or males, warm, clean home with kind people and vibrant personalities and who's up to have a drink at the end of the week and a hang out. In terms of kind, friendly, neat and everyday motivated and outgoing, I am that person. I hope my description of myself is promising. Many regards :D
Clean, tidy, never pay late. Like to socialise but understand the need for privacy. I'm starting a new job in central Melbourne in February so I am relocating from another city. I love going to musicals and shows and trying new things and places to eat with friends.
Hi, I'm Marcel! Brazilian, Master's student based in the Netherlands and now in Melbourne for a 6-month research internship. This means that I would like to find a place to move in asap, where I could stay until May. I consider myself organized, easy going and very open-minded (hard to avoid clichés here, right?). I love cooking, hiking, and getting to know new people, languages and cultures. My weeks are going to be very busy, but I would love to spend some time with my future roommates during weekends. Feel free to contact me if you have a room to offer so we can arrange an inspection :)
I am quiet, clean, and keep to myself for the most part. My hobbies include reading, gaming, journaling, and going for runs/walks. I am an open-minded, accepting person and I am looking for a flat-mate with those same qualities as well :) I currently live in Adelaide and I hope to move to Melbourne by the end of January to prepare for university at RMIT, where I will be studying Legal and Dispute Studies. I will also be getting a job fairly soon after I move, I will be on student allowance however so paying rent will not be a problem.
Hi there! I'm a student looking for somewhere to live next year whilst I study a Bachelor of Environments at Melbourne university, majoring in Architecture and Urban Planning & Design. I both work and study, so you can rely on me to be committed to monthly rent payments. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, reading, drawing things that aren't buildings and cities, and playing my guitar (acoustic, don't worry!). Ideally would like to move in before the commencement of the 2017 study year (just before the beginning of March) , and stay until the conclusion of my exams, however am flexible on the length of stay beyond 9 months. If you have something that you think would meet this criteria, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Laura
I'm a local about to begin studying a Masters program at the University of Melbourne and am looking for a place to stay for a couple of months over the summer. My girlfriend is a design student from the US who's visiting from the 19th of Dec to the 13th of Jan. We're both pretty easy going and like to keep our spaces clean. I may be interested in extending my stay once my girlfriend leaves if the arrangement is working out. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
I'm pursuing masters from RMIT city and looking for accommodation preferably in inner suburbs( not very far from uni) for 6 months or longer. I'll need to provide a two weeks prior notice when leaving the current place. Room requirements: The private room must have a window opening to fresh air. Not looking for cramped accommodation - No living rooms, Dim lights, spring beds, and bad business. As a flatmate you should know the obligation to maintain the cleanliness of the place and value the difference between community and private space. About me: I'm a social and straightforward person, spend most of my time at uni. I'm from India and do not have problem sharing living space with people from any nationality or sexuality or Gender as far as you are sane and do not mess up with the place and people you live with. If all of this sounds good to you and have a flat/room to share and available from the mentioned date please email me ( please quote rent).
I'm a backpacker from England hoping to settle in Melbourne for a while. I'm easy going, tidy and like to cook, play tennis and read. I can keep out of the way as much as you'd like, and I don't really know many people in the city (or country!) so won't be noisily waking you up in the early hours after nights out!
Hi I'm Rob, a friendly and clean New Zealander, i've been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the sports and events industries, with a busy summer lined up. Also i'm going to be studying a few more courses part time next year just to keep myself busy. I like to eat fairly healthy and try to get out riding a few times a week. I've lived out of home for 6 years now, so i know how to be considerate of others and all the house basics like paying my bills on time and cleaning up after myself without being told. Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :) Prefer non smokers
Hello! I will be commencing my postgraduate studies in arts and cultural management in University of Melbourne next February and pretty psyched about moving to oz. Back in Singapore where I'm from, I worked in an art museum and run a non-profit music initiative. When I'm not geeking out about music, I am thinking about food most of the time and on the hunt for great eats. I love checking out new events and places, meeting new people but also spending quiet time alone to recharge. I understand the importance of being considerate, cooperative and respectful of other people's personal space and needs. I am contented living with clean quiet surroundings, appliances that work, a good hot shower and a double bed. Looking for friendly, open-minded, international flatmates to share a place (and some drinks) with!
I am easy going, work full time, cook, cyclist, I keep it quiet. I am looking for a private room and private bathroom. I am also looking for a parking spot/garage. Cheers.
I'm from Canada, and I work in hospitality so my hours are a bit strange. I'm very easy-going and open to pretty much everything... Honestly I love having netflix binge nights just as much as I love going out for drinks! I also can't seem to find the words to describe myself so I'm sorry!!
Hey, I'm Megan and I'm 24. I work as a Nurse and Midwife. I'm in to health and fitness and enjoy going out for food and drinks. I'm an easy going and friendly person. I'm clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I love to socialise but still like to have my own space.
I'm moving to Melbourne from Chicago on a 1-year WHV. I'm big into sports (baseball is my favorite, but I can't wait to get into Aussie Rules), music, movies, TV shows (Peaky Blinders, Game Of Thrones, The Office to name a few), and the occasional book. I like to spend my money and my weekends at local bars/pubs, concerts, or sporting events. I typically use the week nights to relax. Given that I'm new to the city, I'm of course looking to make friends but I'll give you your space when you want it. At 6'7" I'm sure to be one of your tallest friends! Feel free to drop me a message on here or email me. Can't wait to find a place and experience all that Melbourne has to offer!
23 year old manager who can quote more episodes of Kath &v Kim and more moments from The Castle than anyone you would have ever met. My weekdays consist of me going to work, the gym & then watching documentrys & Netflix, my weekends consist of me going out for drinks on a Saturday & then brunch on a Sunday. Looking for someone to share a place with who lives a similar "is she a party girl or a sad loner, I don't know?" Sort of lifestyle! If you want to know more about me instead of reading this dribble- hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan This is Amy.
