I have been sharing a townhouse with 11 other people from mixed nationalities. I'm easy to get along with, clean, organised, considerate and good fun to live with. I'm quite social and friendly but I also enjoy my own space. My hobbies include listening to music, motorsports, reading about cars, tech, and into exploring new places and enjoying little things in life. I recently just finished my masters in business administration and working full time in my field. I am still settling in and looking for the right bunch of flatmates.
Hi! I'm coming from the Amsterdam to Melbourne for a research-internship in the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. I'm down to earth, easy going and I like to socialize. During the weekdays I will work full-time in the hospital but during the weekends I am a free man. I like to surf and go to the gym in my free time and look forward to meeting new people!
Hi, I'm 26 years old, and I'm from Brazil. I'll go to Australia to learn and practice English. I'll study in a English school and work at the same time. I like to live with another people to learn a little bit about the australian way of life, about the culture and everything. I'm very flexible and polite. Best regards, Olivia
I want to live with nice people with whom to share experiences in a healthy and entertaining way, also to reinforce even more my English and generate circle of friends. I really like music, even the idea of coming to australia to live is to find an opportunity in music. I am a very nice guy, calm, sociable, humble, someone with whom you can talk quietly and not only to socialize, I am also someone in which if you prefer, you can trust. In Chile I was a medical technologist for 7 years, but that was never my thing. So, I have left my comfort zone to fight for my dreams, but at the same time enjoy another culture in its fullness.
My name is Aidan, currently I'm working full time as Customer Service Manager for a computer sales website. I work in Dandenong South. When I'm not working I mostly just relax by watching a movie or series, or playing some video games with my mates. I also enjoy a bit of cooking here and there and the occasional DIY project. Jake is also working full time as 2IC for an insurance company call centre. He is also a bit of a gamer, and spend his free time drawing and sketching. He has a friendly husky named Zeus. Jane is currently doing an apprenticeship. She is a fantastic cook, and is into cars, and bikes. She also has a great sense of humour and a steadfast opinion on the best order to watch the Star Wars movies. Jake and Jane are in a relationship and as such would be sharing a room. We are looking for 2 or 3 bedroom place, preferably with a back yard for Zeus. We are currently living in Greensborough and would be looking at similar locations, but also would be happy to move a bit down south so we are closer to work. Please call free to message or text me, I can't typically answer my phone during the day.
Easygoing bloke moving to Melbourne for work. Looking for a share house not too far from the city. Get in touch!
Hello! I'm Marissa and I'm coming to Australia from Ohio, USA this summer to start a Working Holiday! I'll be staying in Melbourne for about 6 months (mid-July through the holidays). I'm currently a student and working as an office assistant and a server, but in my free time I enjoy running, playing with my pets, and cooking a nice meal. As a roommate, I do a lot of cleaning and am very respectful of others' property and privacy. I've always been reliable about getting rent/bills in on time. I usually keep to myself but during this trip I am really hoping to make some great friends and try new things! Ideally I would love to live with someone who is friendly and outgoing and would want to show me around the city and maybe take some weekend trips to see some other parts of Victoria. I am so excited to see Australia and I can't wait to meet you! -Marissa
I am 22 and work hospo in Fitzroy. I keep clean and pick up after myself, good at paying bills on time and being respectful of other house mates. Keep relatively to myself but do enjoy getting amongst house activities. Hoping to pay a maximum of $200 p/w rent. Looking for a comfortable home with people I can get on with. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers!
Greetings :) We are a young professional same-sex couple seeking a teamup for a roomy shared townhouse (or such) in Melbourne, Carlton/ Carlton North or inner East/ North Melbourne. We are both comfortable, clean, easy-going, and love good chats and a bit of fun every now and then but also really value some down-time and rest after a long day of work. We currently live in a cosy apartment in South Yarra, our lease is ending on the 15th of May and we wish to secure a place by early-mid April at the latest. What kind of home we are looking to share: Our main goals with our new home is to reduce the amount of rent we are paying currently and have a bigger home with a roomy backyard and living area. We are looking to team up with 2 other people (don't mind couples) for a 3 bedroom house/ townhouse. Our main requirements are a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (preferably ensuites), a backyard, for the location to be within 10-20km of Melbourne CBD, divided rent up to $600 per week (exc bills). We have an adorable fluffy feline son named Wilbur who is about 6.5 years old, he is a very calm and well-natured cat. His only activities include intermittently switching from deep sleeping, intense eating and purry snuggling. He is incredibly comfortable and loving with new people, clean, and very self-sufficient. He does occasionally want to play and have a bit of a run around but his most loved activity is curling up to sleep. A little bit about us: We both have full-time 9-5 jobs during the week and prefer quiet evenings during the week, occasionally having dinners with friends every now and then but that is the most we do on weeknights - reserving most of our going out/ socializing and such to weekends. We have a good small bunch of close friends who we love seeing as often as time and energy permits. We love a bit of a boogie once or twice a month whether it be in the form of a cosy little house party or a 5 day doof out in the bush. Despite this, we aren't huge party animals and strongly value a good work, rest, play balance. As housemates, we love cleanliness but also understand that with full-time work and a busy lifestyle sometimes a pristine, perfect home is not always achievable. This is absolutely okay with us but we would always ensure that a thorough clean-up is done at least once a week. We also love a friendly environment at home, having a chat over a smoke, tea or wine once in a while but some nights we just want to retreat into the couch or our bedroom and sleep or binge watch Netflix or documentaries. We also love plants, candles, incense, art, all kinds of music and prefer eating a predominantly cruelty-free, vegan diet. What we are looking for in housemates: - a reliable, honest and compassionate person - transparency and trust-worthiness - MUST be LGBTIQ+ friendly and aware - relatively clean and cat friendly - easy-going, open-minded, well read and responsible - someone who matches similarly to our profile, has a sound work, rest, play balance What we don't want in housemates: - excessive drinking, partying, etc - expectations to socialize all the time - cat allergies/ dislike If this sounds like you or we sound like people you would see yourself living with - hit us up with a little bit about yourself, include your favorite film or song and why you love it. Happy house hunting x
I am a young professional relocating from the Gold Coast to Melbourne around the end of April. Between jobs I have been working as a freelancer in PR and digital media management, however I am in the process of securing full-time work upon moving. At 22 I would consider myself very career-driven although I do love to get up to 22 year old things, AKA have an all round great time! I am easy going, polite, tidy and considerate of others' belongings and space. For the last 3 years I have lived in a number of multi-housemate situations so I am very well-equipped to the dynamics and functions of living with other people. I'm not sure how much you will see me between working, exercising and socialising. I like to spend a lot of the time out of the house, I love eating out with friends, I play AFL and love going along to games, getting down to the beach and checking out the various events Melbourne has to offer - that's what I intend on doing most weekends! Looking for some likeminded people to share with :)
Hey, my name's Shane. I'm a 24 year old male from Darwin, NT, set to start work in late April as a Site Engineer in Melbourne. I've lived in Darwin my whole life so it might be a bit of an experience making the trek to the big city that is Melbourne. In my spare time I enjoy sports (if the body holds up), chilling out with some Netflix/games and the occasional beer or two. Hoping to find some social flatmates that enjoy similar interests.

I just want to have a quiet space for me, but also a shared place to have a beer or watch a movie some times. :)

Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))
I'm a creative and musical individual who loves to eat and laugh with friends. Having lived by myself for a while, I'm great at adulting - including paying rent/bills on time and keeping the house clean. I'm sociable, but very independent so value alone time. I'm looking for a reasonable sized bedroom and a secure back-yard for Indy. Indy is a small, 8 year old Chi-Hound (Dachshund x Chihuahua). He is super friendly and polite; at the moment he comes to work with me most of the time. For the past couple of years I have been managing an artisan jewellery business. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet during the week, but I love to go out dancing.
I'm a theatre lover working in Arts Marketing. When not working, you'll find me at the theatre, a bookstore, a gig or gallivanting around Melbourne's restaurants. I travel fairly often.
I'm from Sweden, 28 years old and I work in the city. I have fallen in love with Melbourne. When I do not work, I sing in choirs and performs.I also love to volunteer. Since I am Swedish, it is very important that I feel that I want to come home to a home. It is nice to be able to have a chat, have dinners and watch a movie together with the person you live with from time to time.
I love to cook, I am a musician and active climber and am keen to get a locals view of Melbourne. It is my second stop in Australia and my first time to the country. I'm working Melbourne Comedy Fest.
Hello, I'm a Melbourne boy that loves his footy and works full-time as an electrician. I'm a laid back, easy going person that loves to socialize as much as possible. I value my privacy and will be totally respectful of yours. I'm a clean and tidy person and have a lot of furniture I can provide for a team-up option. I'm currently house sharing at the moment but the lease is due to expire at the end of April. If the right match pops up I am happy to move a few weeks early. I have a company car with a lot of tools so I'm looking for somewhere with reasonably secure parking. Looking at doing a bit of traveling at the end of this year/beginning of next so a 6-12 month lease would be ideal. If you'd like to know more feel free to send me a message.
