Hi :) I’m Michael. I’m 28 and work fulltime in the CBD in social media. I currently live in Kew. I’m getting in SUPER early as I’m not looking until mid September. I’ve been living with friends for the last 6 years which has been great! I’m a quiet type, generally keep to myself, but also love to interact with people. I like board game nights, movie nights, hiking and food. I have a little Pomeranian X Chihuahua called a Jack. I need to live with someone who would love him as much as I do. He is an outside dog during the day when I’m not home, otherwise, he is inside. My perfect flatmates like to do their own thing, but also not opposed to shared dinners, great conversations, and a little bit of hanging out! I’m a mad AFL supporter (North Melbourne) and I usually go to every game (including interstate) but if I don’t, it’s likely I’ll be at home watching it :) Can’t wait to make some new memories!
Hi, my partner and me are both Masters graduates who are looking to move in together with each other. Both of us are working full time hours so are hardly at home during the first half of the day but love socialising when we are free. Both of us are big foodies so we like to go out for dinners during the weekend but enjoy having company when we are at home but only if it is comfortable for everyone in the house. We are both easy-going and very easy to live with as we always pick up after ourselves and like to keep the area clean and tidy at all times.
Hey guys, I would say that I'm fairly easy going and love a chat, laugh and occasionally a glass of wine. I also like my "me time" and live a busy life so don't worry I won't be too in your face. I really enjoy dancing, playing tennis and going to gigs and also work for a recruitment agency based in Kensington. Hit me up :)
My name is Duygu. I am student from Germany, Frankfurt and want to stay in Melbourne 6 months. I am studying Mathematics, Sports and Informatics. During my leisure I like reading novels, travelling and going to gym.
Hi! I'm Tom, I'm a first year biochemistry PhD student at the University of Melbourne looking for a room in a share-house so that I can live a little closer to uni and not have to spend 2 hours a day browsing instagram while I commute. I probably spend most of my week in the lab so I won't be around too much except for in the evenings, but when I'm home I love a chat and a Furphy (or a Rivet if you're into value). I'd like to think that I'm clean and tidy and am very respectful of other's space. In the evenings I like watching a good horror flick and ordering an Uber eats HSP (but I also know how to cook several Jamie Oliver 15 minute meals).
I’m a student who works in the city part time. I currently am studying at RMIT to get my applied bachelors in logistics and scm. I’m from the country but I’ve been living in the city for the past 5 years so I’d consider myself somewhere between a melbournite and a country boy. My hobbies are sport, music, games and food so as long as I’m doing something that involves one of those 3 or I’m with friends then I’m happy. I’d lived in a few share houses so I’m good to live with and I know the basic sharehouse requirements - keep the house clean, try not to break anything and keep the noise down.
Hi there! I have recently arrived in Melbourne from travelling and now that I have nailed down a full-time job am looking for a place to call home. I am from Canada and currently working full time at a cafe in Spotswood. I am a tidy, quiet, and relaxed individual who loves to cook and relax after getting home from work. I love playing video games, reading and watching a good movie. I also try to stay as active as possible by going for runs and hopefully signing back up for the gym soon. I am able to move in ASAP, and am open to inspection times in the afternoon/ early evening as I am typically working but feel free to drop me a message anytime and ill be sure to et back to you as soon as I can as I am sure we will be able to arrange something that will work. Thank you, Andrew
I am a future student of Melbourne Uni but will still remain to be employed so payment of the rent and other expenses will not be an issue. I am chill, responsible and easy going. If you think we are a good fit as flatmates, please leave a message :)
Hi! Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: I'm moving from Sydney to find a place to call home long-term in Melbourne, the best city in the country. Leaning towards unfurnished but it’s not a dealbreaker, a backyard, good shower pressure, walkable to a train/tram stop and a dryer are happy bonuses but not requirements, decent internet is a must, I’m LGBTQI+ friendly, I LOVE cats, I ride a motorcycle so parking isn’t an issue, and I am not a fan of spiders or bugs. Now onto the important stuff: I’m taking control of my life and moving to a city I love to pursue a new career in scriptwriting. I was a VR and game developer and i’ll be doing that freelance from time to time. I travel a lot, I can cook (and intend to subscribe to HelloFresh again when I move in, which means i’m down to cook for the house a few times a week), I’ll be auditioning like mad to every amateur theatre group within convenient distance, I’ve always got one song or another stuck in my head, I'm learning the synth and I’m volunteering for the Lifeline suicide prevention hotline. I won't have a full time job when I get move in but I do have a modest trust fund, so I'll never miss a rent or bill payment and I’ll be getting a part time job once i’m settled in. I've lived in share houses before so I know the drill, regular cleaning and respect for common areas and not eating other peoples food and all that. I also come with all sorts of handy house stuff like a big TV, microwave and kitchen stuff if we need it, otherwise I’ll sell it. Oh yeah, and a room-scale VR headset you can play with :D And here’s the biggest thing: This is probably gonna sound odd, but I've come to Melbourne to look for a home with an atmosphere that fosters creativity. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's full of painters and musicians and the like (although that'd be awesome), it means I'm looking for a certain vibe of collaboration or camaraderie, a home rather than a house. I reckon that's more important than details like whether or not there's a dryer or distance to public transport, who you live with is more important than where you live. If any of that resonates with you and your housemates, I’m available for viewings whenever! Thanks for reading all that Adam
I'm from Perth originally but like everyone there I moved over to Melbourne to try it out. I currently working part time in an office job and study law part time. I'm clean, respectful and always pay my bills on time. I can get a little overwhelmed with study and lock myself in my room but I really am always down for a good goss and a glass of wine. You can tend to find me making cocktails and singing along to Drake and Post Malone while I mention the next pair of sneakers I just HAVE to add to the collection. I'm looking for a place that I'm happy to come home to at the end of the day and be with friends!
I am Abhas, from India, studying at RMIT, pursuing my Masters degree in Data Science. I came to Melbourne last year in July. As my lease for 1 year ends in the mid of July, I am looking for a place to move in. I am an easy going, carefree, and love to cook. I can cook almost anything. Love music. I am not a loud person. And a great company to hang out with. :)
I am a sociable and young-hearted person with experience in house sharing. I am good at keeping the house in order. I enjoy domestic hobbies like crafting, gardening and meeting new people. I am looking for a room in a shared flat/house to live with my small son during my five-month working trip in Melbourne. My son will go to childcare while I go to work. He is very friendly.
Hi! My name is Hyung. Looking for an accommodation preferably on Sydney rd or within 20 minutes from the CBD, from late June to 20th of November! I am 19, studying Pharmacy at Monash University Parkville. I’m a chill, easy going fella who likes to keep things clean and quite. I am a responsible human being who can clean up after oneself, and I respect other people so it is unlikely that you will get into a fight with me. I will be out 4 days a week and come back in the afternoon, but I do enjoy chatting every now and then. I play baseball and alike every ball player, I'm always up for a bottle of beer(or bottles, either way). In terms of pets, I LOVE CATS, but I also like dogs as well. Please get in touch if you are interested! Cheers Preferred move in date: 4/7/2018 Move out date: 21/11/2018
Hello Flatmates! I am 24, studying my final year masters of clinical psychology at melbourne uni! (free therapy?!) I also work as a private tutor and in retail. I am very social, and looking or a place I can become friends with the housies and have one or 8 wines with. Until recently I had a lovely housemate situation, but my pals are moving interstate for work, so I am hoping to find a new home that will heal my broken heart. Ideally this will be a place in the northern suburbs, and cycle distance to the CBD (about 20-25 mins). I also respect people's space and am happy to keep to myself :) Big fan of Netflix. I will be going to placement/ working through the week, but like to be pretty outgoing on the weekend. Of course I am very respectful of noise and other people's space/ work commitments. I am super clean and tidy. You can count on me to vacuum, dust, bleach and scrub until the place sparkles! I like to live in a clean space where people pitch in for cleaning, but am also not extreme about tidiness. I am looking for something long term as moving is pretty horrible and I would like to avoid doing it again at all costs. I am very reliable with paying rent and bills, and have never paid late. If you need furniture, I can bring a fridge, tv table, a (pretty average) TV, coffee table, microwave, sofa, washing machine, and cutlery/ plates etc. Not vital that I bring these things but they're an option! Let me know if you'd like to meet :) Beth
I am a responsible professional and respectful flatmate who is able to pull their weight around the house. I also fairly social so out and about a lot but also happy to share a glass of wine and dinner at home.
Hello My name’s Alex. I work in health and social equity, my last job was on the close the gap campaign. I’ve just returned from a 6 month trip across Central America learning Spanish, hiking around, and living the Latin life. I’ve sharehoused all my life, very adaptable and can live with all types. I’m socialable and prefer to go to the pub with mates rather than nightclubs. I keep things clean and tidy, and very conscientious of other people’s space and things. I like to cook, but I eat out just as often, and I keep pretty fit and healthy.
I am an orderly and organised person. Very respectful. I have a vivacious personality and love to laugh. I am Italian and am very interested in exploring Australia and other cultures. I am very aware of Others around me and am good at sharing.
Hey! I’m a Mexican girl (22 years old) who’s doing a Marketing internship in Melbourne starting this July! I lived in England for a year, sharing a flat with 5 other people, so I’m really used to sharing a place to live. I am a clean, organised, and nice girl who loves going out with friends at night, but also loves staying home and watching Netflix.
Me, a Dutchman, going to head to Melbourne for 4 years to conduct a PhD. in Infection and Immunity at the WEHI. I am super excited to get to know Melbourne and my new Roommates! I am a very clean and neat person to live with and always up for anything!
I've recently got a new job near south wharf so i'm looking for something around Docklands or the CBD area. I'm looking for a nice place to call home with nice flatmates but most importantly someone who would consider living with a quiet, small, friendly (with both people and other dogs) toilet trained really funny puppy (whose name is Dixie). :) I've lived in Melbourne for 3 years now although I'm originally from Mexico and I love meeting new people although i'm a little bit on the introverted side of life, ideally i would love flatmates that enjoy having some wine and a nice chat once in a while but that are also ok with each having their alone time. Please don't hesitate to give me a shout out if you have something that might suit :)
Hi, I would love to move into a share house with my own bedroom, my current place is little bit too expensive to be full time student. I have a very good quality of washing machine with its own washing liquid to share with housemates, and a fridge if needed another one. I have my own queen bed, hopefully a unfurnished bedroom.
Im Scottish, moving to Melbourne indefinitely on the 189 visa as a management accountant. I love travelling, currently in South East Asia travelling round Thailand and Vietnam for a couple months before landing in Melbourne in early June! Follow a few sports so will be taking advantage of the many live sports in Melbourne, followed the Storm for years and will no doubt get sucked into AFL as well. I’ve various other interests I try to stay involved with as time allows and love trying new things. I’m generally a tidy person who cleans up after myself without being OCD about everything being spotless. Appreciate my own space at times but I’m making the move alone so would be cool to find someone who likes to hang out sometimes as well.
I am quite an outgoing and sociable guy to hang with, and enjoy making friends with people from different ethnicity group. I am clean and tidy, tend to make the living environment comfortable, hope to find flatmates in corresponding sense and anyone who is into jazz music!
Hi there, we are two tidy, friendly and chilled guys looking for a place to live together and/or with other flatmates. Francesco is Italian, likes sports such as Tennis/swimming and studies psychology at Victoria University. I (Jordi) am from the Netherlands and am a graduate in tourism management. We like to chill, go out, watch movies, work out and also enjoy socialising and have a beer too from time to time :) The best location would be in/around the city.
