Hi. I'm a young at heart 41 year old looking for a mature, friendly, clean and quiet household to move into in November/December 2018. I'm a professional who is also training for an amateur body sculpting competition and studying part-time so I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful environment with a clean and functional kitchen. I enjoy fitness, running, swimming, reading, meditation, yoga, a large variety of music, philosophical/intellectual conversations, spiritual exploration (although I'm not religious) and getting out into nature, be it the beach or the hills. I'm vegetarian however the household doesn't need to be. There is quite a large amount of food prep required for my training so I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen each week however I’m mindful to work around others I live with and always clean up after myself.
Looking for an apartment in the city, with my *own* room and preferably with windows. A pool and/or tennis court would definitely be a plus. I love music, food, drinks, yoga/pilates, and keeping things clean and organised. I would love to hangout every now and then, but I can also keep to myself. I'm a full time mobile application developer with a bit of an active lifestyle; usually out with friends. I can move in earlier if required. If you're interested to team up, here's a list of good-looking places I found online: > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-420752026 > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-425146974 > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-north+melbourne-419350238 > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-425141234 > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-424452570 > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-north+melbourne-425134930 > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-north+melbourne-425136162 > https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-425015530
Hey guys! Country girl, living in the city the past couple of years. Working in health care, own my own car. I dont mind a cheeky wine and a good taco, but don't ask me where to go out, because I don't go out to the clubs haha. I am social, but definitely like my own space too, so ideally looking for people who are similar. I am currently renting a one bedroom unit independently in Aberfeldie (Yes! Expensive) I am looking for something cheaper so I can save, meet new people and have more of a life *Yay*. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I come with a fridge, washing machine, couch, side table, and coffee table. My lease finishes Mid Jan, ideally would like to find someone or a place to move in around that time as I don't want to be doubling on rent. *I wont be putting in for internet, as I have a huge data pool that I pay for independently. * Happy to share utilities by the number of people living in the house
I'm a very tidy working holidayer from the US who enjoys his own space but doesn't mind the occasional banter. I work full time as a hostel receptionist and in my spare time, I train in Muay Thai, and study android development. I love staying active and playing sports, games, and finding the best burger and milkshake joint melbs has to offer. Not much of a drinker or party-goer and would prefer similar-minded housemates :)
Friendly, self-sufficient, likes a clean home, loves baking, always makes too much food, capable of fixing mechanical issues, can definitely fix your bicycles and maybe motorcycles/cars (though I'm short on tools at the moment). Non-smoker and non-drinker so I'll never bring home a giant party or steal your beer. NON-NEGOTIABLE: my home must be completely NON-SMOKING. I physically do not tolerate cigarette or 420 smoke at all.
I am clean and respectful of others always cleaning after myself in the kitchen after use. I have a laid back personality and easy to get along with. Hobbies include playing the piano, clarinet, biking, gym, table tennis and badminton.
29 year old professional working in the medical devices industry. I travel a lot for work, so am not often home during the week. When I am home, I like to relax, catch up with friends and hit the gym. I’m happy to socialise with housemates and like to keep the place neat and tidy.
Bad jokes. Average cooking. Great banter. We are biochemistry and psychology students with a shared love of video games and funky music. We are a pretty introverted pair and enjoy our own space, but love equally to hang out with like-minded people and discuss the whatever is going on in the media and in the community. Feeling like part of a cohesive, happy household is pretty important to us, and if it is to you too – let's chat!
Hi, My name is Karli and I am a 23 yr old creative moving to Melbourne in January 2019. I currently work full time in a Wollongong studio and printery as a graphic designer as well as a freelance designer and illustrator and a fitness instructor at a local aerials studio (yeah, I'm a very busy person atm! haha). I will be continuing to work remotely in my current position as graphic designer until March so being able to work from home is a must! I am a pretty chilled out human - I like movies, making new friends, napping (a lot!) and getting creative. I can be very social but love my own space too. I spend some weekends going on adventures with my boyfriend and some curled up watching Netflix. Also, if you are someone I can get excited for the new Game of Thrones series with, we will get along really well! I am tidy, and have an extensive experience living in shared accommodation (6 years in boarding school, 2 years in uni college accommodation, & 2 years in houseshare). I would prefer somewhere that is furnished and has off-street parking so I don't have to worry about my vehicle's security or transporting furniture interstate. If you think we will get along well in the same house, message me!
Hi, we're Till and Lea-Sophie, backpackers from Germany, and looking for a cozy place to live during our stay in Melbourne :) We arrived in Australia only last week and are both already looking for jobs. I (Till) have been traveling New Zealand before and consider myself somewhat experienced with flatsharing. Our previous living situation in Germany was a shared flat as well. We're easygoing, generally quiet, clean, like cooking, and are always open for new adventures.
Hi my name is Katie, I'm an early childhood educator looking to relocate to Melbourne at the beginning of 2019! I've lived in share houses in Melbourne before and really enjoyed the experience. I'm from the Macedon Ranges where I'm currently living with my family. I love bushwalking, animals, swimming, cooking, eating, reading, art, music, sewing, watching movies and picnics. I'd love to be in a house with a couple of people who would be happy to hang out sometimes, watch a movie, have dinner together or a few drinks. I'm tidy and respectful of other people's space.
I recently re-located from Brisbane to Melbourne to start a new job in the city. I am a tidy, polite and respectful person to live with. I am always up for a chat but also enjoy my personal space and am conscious of the fact that others do also. I enjoy watching sports, keeping fit and getting out and about and exploring.
Hey guys, I'm 26, just moved here from London and planning on being here for the next two years. I've just started working as a bar manager in a pretty sick bar in the CBD. I'm gay, a pescatarian and a creative type looking to get back in to it. Clean & tidy, good banter and can whip up some pretty tasty drinks. I'm looking to get back in to photography and some directing work as I'm here so a creative house a ++. I'm also planning on doing a TEFL and a programming course, so not going to be your usual late-night/party hard hospitality character.
Hey all, I’m Lacey. I’m looking at moving down from NSW at the start of next year to study at Melbourne Uni. I’m easy going and tidy. I mostly like to chill out at home, or go on lil outings with friends :)
Hi I'm a happy and positive guy looking for a new place to call home. I've been living out of home for the past 6 years. I work full time in my own business (online advertising agency). I work from an office in Port Melbourne as well as occasionally from home or wherever there is an internet connection. I'm neat and tidy and like to live in a clean home. During the week I'm mostly working and going to the gym. On the weekends I can be social, but not one to go out and party... just a few social drinks over dinner is best! I love to keep fit, listen to music and travel the world when ever I get the opportunity.
I’m a tidy conscientious human who happens to be gay and enjoys a good chat on the weekend but tends to keep to myself during the week. Big fan of great coffee, a glass of red or a fancy cocktail. I enjoy gardening, listening to podcasts near large bodies of water and love cats. A bit of a nerd who loves Miyazaki, cards/board games and my PS4.
Welshman on a working holiday in Aus! Looking for a private room in or around Melbourne for the next 3 months :D I’m clean and conscientious, and live pretty minimally in terms of possessions due to travels... A sociable and open book, but I see home as more of a retreat, so I prefer getting out to see people and new places. Big fan of classic lit, I practice yoga regularly, and love to travel and learn. Lefty, vegetarian, and I love a good conversation! Have no specific requirements in terms of house or housemates, as I like to think every situation is a chance to adapt and grow :D Happy to travel further than listed areas if close to a train station. Big fan of art and design, so would probs have to reel in the praise if your place is a beaut :D
Hi, this is Pichamon or Mickey (for the nickname), from Thailand. I am a Master's degree in Law student at the University of Melbourne. I am quite jolly and easy to become friends with new people. Typically, I enjoy a conversation on topics like music, movies, arts, technology, and even about life in general. I also like to stroll in the city, visit different cafes, and take a walk in the park in my free time. Looking for a house with friendly, quiet, and relaxed atmosphere and definitely not looking for a party house. If you are looking for a flatmate who is respectful, not a party animal kind of person, yet still fun to be around, please contact me. I'll be happy to hear from you :-) * Looking for a place to stay for 6 to 8 months * Private room only
I work full time in the city Monday-Friday and the occasional Saturday night so I won’t be home much on the weekends. I mainly keep to myself but I do enjoy going out for dinners and having movie/tv binge nights! Im not a big drinker myself but I can definitely make a killer cocktail if you feel like getting a little tipsy with dinner. I am a very happy person, with a chilled out vibe unless I’m really hungry. I also have a 3.5 year old cat named George. He is desexed and an indoor only cat as he isn’t the brightest crayon in the box. Other than that he is very timid but cuddly once he’s warmed up to you. He mostly sleeps on or under my bed all day and is very well behaved. Please let me know if you have any questions! I would prefer to live somewhere close to a train station so I can rely on PT to get to and from work! My max budget is $200 a week not including bills, but ideally I’d like to live a bit cheaper so I can save. I’ve lived out of home for 4 years but so I am a well trained housemate, very tidy and respectful. I would also prefer to live with only females, but if you think we’d be a good match feel free to send me a message ☺️
I’m a 25 year old Belgian chef. I live for food and don’t mind sharing ;). I believe great food is a basic right for everyone. I’m an easy going person that enjoys being social but also enjoys having my own space and down time occasionally. I like to live at a tidy place and try to contribute as much as possible. Looking for a nice place to call home for a while. If you like good food send me a message, I’m sure we’ll get along ;)
Hi there! I'm a student and worker here in Melbourne with a bachelor in Industrial Design in Colombia. I'm 26 years old, I'm a easy going person, relax but respectful and tidy at the same time. I enjoy talk and share with people from others part of the world :), ride my bicycle and I really love plants 🌿. I hope to be your perfect match as a flatmate :) About my situation: I was leaving in a family house (looking after a child as a Aupair) but I needed to change because I got a new job and is impossible have both jobs at the same time. For this reason I can arrange the time to move easy.
I am a work and traveller from Germany. I came to Melbourne two months ago and enjoying it so far since Melbourne is a great city. What I love doing: healthy cooking (preferably vegetarian), doing sports especially in nature such as climbing or doing yoga, going out with friends for dancing and drinking every now and then, reading books and trying out new things in life. If you have any questions about me feel free to message me. Miriam :-)
