I'm a student who works part-time and i'm looking for a place to call home for the next 12 months. I'm clean, healthy, rarely drink, can be social but also like to keep to myself.
A recent graduate who works part-time as a salad artist until she finds a full-time job. A senior but not expensive housemate, featuring: • 5+ years experience in house-sharing • Always clean, respectful and responsible (My housemates hardly find the evidence of me cooking) • Above-average friendliness • Hosted 1 garage sale, 3 birthday surprises and 2 welcome parties for the housemates • Owns a 50" television, a wireless printer, a bike, 2 frisbees and a ukulele • Fluent in English and Mandarin (I'm from Taiwan) • Loves to talk about politics • Not a party animal but enjoys dancing in an appropriate environment • Overall, a very likeable young woman Looking for a sociable and mature (everyone cleans after themselves and refills the toilet paper) house/flat, preferably with lots of natural light as I enjoy reading during the day when I'm not working. I also like to stay in the living room and greet the housemates so I hope my future housemates are comfortable with that. My ideal length of stay is 12 months before I finally move back to fight for my country. Feel free to ask me anything as I really take my 100% response rate seriously.
Looking for fun housemate/s that I can have a few chats and wines with. I often have quiet weeknights in and enjoy going out and keeping busy on the weekends with road trips, nights out, exercise, festivals, going to AFL games, the list goes on.. I like being social, active, and eating good food, did I mention eating good food? I am clean, tidy and considerate. I’m super chilled and am looking for housemates similar. I work full time in the media industry and often long hours. I’m looking to move out soon, however in no massive rush if it suits to wait a few months or so. I do drive so I would need somewhere to park my car.
Hey, I'm Maddy from Taiwan. I am a full-time student studying Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. I also work part-time at university libraries, so no problem paying the rent on time. I'm clean and tidy and would love things to be organized. I am also easy-going, friendly, respectful and positive and I love to laugh:) Oh, and I love plants and animals. During the week I will probably be really busy, so I'll need a quiet place for me to relax (or study). But on the weekend or in my spare time, I enjoy drawing, reading and going to the movies. I love outdoor activities like hiking, camping, scuba diving or just traveling around and exploring cool and unique coffee shops. Feel free to contact me if you think I will be a suitable Flatmate. :)
Hello! I study Applied Science (Psychology) at RMIT on Swanston Street and also work there full-time. I love animals (but do not have any of my own), clean up after myself and like cooking. I’m happy to join in on house dinners too!
Hi my name is Lucy. I am a full-time law student, and I work part-time as a Paralegal in a Construction Law firm. This means that I attend university from 6-9pm, but don't worry, I am extremely well practiced in the art of closing doors quietly when I arrive home! I also volunteer at the Trades Hall helping young people with employment law issues. I enjoy dragon-boat racing, chess (all board games) and debating. I am looking for two key criteria. Close to public transport and a big enough room. In addition, I am looking for a friendly home that is a good fit. I love to have a laugh and I deeply enjoy intellectual conversations and value the sharing of knowledge. However, I am reasonably busy and therefore, happy to also live my own independent life. I am looking for flat share either in, or just outside of the Melbourne CBD, such as Docklands, or Kilda Road. I would happily live in just about any suburb (within thirty minutes of the city) as long as the place is close to a train station (within a five minutes walk). I can supply a fridge, a washing-machine and cooking equipment for the house. I am looking for an unfurnished room (unless of course, your bed and mattress is of a better quality than the Queen size bed I own already). Although I do not drink, smoke or watch television, I am totally relaxed and open to you enjoying these things. The only thing that really bothers me is the smell of incense. I am afraid I have an antipathy towards it. I rarely use the kitchen to prepare food as I mostly eat out or eat microwaveable meals. I am happy to contribute to my share of the chores and I'd would be even happier to put in for a cleaner! In addition, I am looking for a room with the following features: -A window that opens with natural light -Can accommodate a large desk and a queen size bed -Access to fast, unlimited internet (does not have to be included in the price) -I must be able to pay the bond to the RTBA -The room must be an actual room (not partitioned) with a door, and not sharing with others in the same room. * Please note that $300 is the maximum amount of weekly rent I wish to pay and a higher rent is non-negotiable (not inclusive of bills and internet). Many thanks, Lucy
Hi my name is Lyca, 24 years old! I'm from Philippines and working as a part time for now while applying for permanent job. I'm a lawyer and postgrad student at the University of Melbourne. I am incredibly clean and tidy. I'm also friendly and social, but respect the need for privacy and down time. I love a nice wine, happy chats and delicious food. Currently my time is balanced between home, university, volunteering, work and great friends :)

Enthusiast French student coming to Australia for a 4 month internship as Assistant Engineer. Very easy to live with, I can accomodate with practicly anyone (except if you hate listening to music, but who is like that anyways ?) I can be wild & extremelly motivated when the situation calls for it, but also very calm when need to. I rarely say no to a night out, especially in a place like Melbourne I wish to discover. Hope I will find great people to live with !
Hey there, my name is leroy ramirez I am 24 years of age, and I just recently moved to Melbourne from the sunny Gold Coast. I am a very chill laid back guy who likes to have fun but also can be serious when needed, but other than that I’m a very happy, peaceful content type of guy, I am pretty tall, some people get intimidated by me but trust me I’m a very fun, loving and caring guy, I love tattoos, arts, music, chilling with good company, I go to the gym, but mostly I like to be out and about experiencing life to the fullest. I currently work full time at JD sports Melbourne central, I love my sneakers, I am also in the process of launching my own clothing label in July which Im really excited for, but on a serious note I’m just looking for a room to rent and I would be able to move in as soon as possible, but I’d rather like to catch up with whoever gives me the chance so I can introduce myself in person. Take care
Hi I'm Jasmine, I am 21 and studying business at the RMIT city campus while also bar tending part time at a club in the city. I am looking for a room unfurnished either in a share house or single property. I come with a happy calm, well behaved Kelpie dog both of us are house trained and brought up living inside but is happy outside during the day, his name is Tucker and he is 2! I am happy to pay extra for the privilege of having him stay. He is walked at least once a day and spends the rest napping, playing with toys and cuddling whoever is up for it, he sleeps in my room. I pride myself on being clean and tidy and pretty social, I love exploring Melbourne (Dive Bars are a favourite), eating good food and going out, with a nice balance of downtime and studying. I can come with a full house of furniture (laundry included) or just my stuff for a room as required. Looking for something around the end of May as that is when my current lease ends.
For a bit of background, I'm a 24-year old single professional who just moved to Melbourne for work (project manager for a nonprofit) and study (masters of law). I am available to move in anytime from the 23rd of April.
I've been in Melbourne for a couple years since relocating from Queensland to escape the humidity. Working full-time hours in disability support and studying my final year of nursing so looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel! During time off, you can find me at a boardgame cafe in the city for a chill day which i'm always keen to introduce interested people to, or whether permitting, spending time outside trying to make the most of what Melbourne has to offer. I've just gotten back into cycling so would love to be nearby easily accessible bike paths. I'm looking for a house with friendly people that are happy to be social over dinner or catch up during the day, but likewise can keep a relaxed home atmosphere. Get in touch if you are looking for something similar :)
