I’m a female in my late 20’s working in events and studying project management full time. I’m a environmentally contentious, organised and respectful indiviual looking for someone likeminded to share a home with. I like having the occasional friend over for a a cup of tea or dinner but also highly regrd quiet/down time in the house. I have a 6 year old dog who’s stupidly house trained and loves being around people in general. Happy to provide a rental referral for both myself and my pooch upon moving :)
Hey there! My name is Abby. I work full time in South Melb. I own the most friendly and adorable red toy poodle named kumo, he's house trained and his breed doesn't shed hair. I am a dancer, go to church on Thursdays and Sundays and love to explore VIC when uni isn't so hectic. I am clean, a non smoker, don't really party hardcore but I am quite social. I am getting a car in the near future but im flexible with parking options. Ideally I'm looking for a place for me and my poodle. Cheers!
I grew up in Australia but some of my most favourable memories have been outside of Oz whilst travelling! I'm currently a student at RMIT and also work in a contact centre at the moment. In my spare time I love to dance (hip hop) or listen to music (recently got into vinyl records) and last but not least going for a drink with my friends.
Hello, I'm Ashleigh 25, about to turn 26 so pretty much over the hump and will be 30 in no time (not concerned at all)! I work fulltime in the cbd, in management, for a company girls dream working for- I will divulge information if we meet! My roster is usually Tuesday-Saturday with different hours so I am very quiet during the week and truthfully pretty quiet on the weekend also. My partying days are over, i do however enjoy a quiet night with cheese and wine or searching for a cute brunch spot 😉 I have been in Melbourne for nearly 12 months, prior I lived in the country so i pop back there when I can also. I have been living in a share house so I am respectful of peoples privacy and I am clean! Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello! My name is Tennessee. I’m 19 years old and I’ve been living in sunny St Kilda after moving to Melbourne from Sydney back in January. I am looking for somewhere to live where I can feel at home. I am clean, respectful and a friendly person to live with. I am working starting a career in acting, auditioning for various film and stage productions. In the meantime, I work full-time in hospitality to pay he bills. Other interests include music, exercise, cooking and exploring this wonderful city. Hope to be living with you soon :)
Hey flatmates! I'm Jodie, I'm 22 and studying full-time and working part-time at Vic Uni. I'm super laid back, respectful and clean - I'm hoping to find a similar housemate/s! :)
I’m 29, working screenwriter. I travel quite a bit while my short film runs the festival circuit. Otherwise I sometimes work from cafes or home, which means I’m VERY tidy and routined. (plus I'm home to catch those troublesome delivery drivers before they leave a parcel card and flee the scene). I'm also a bit of an early bird but too that doesn’t mean I’m not up for house hangs (though my idea of a house party is pizza, wine and Netflix). As you can imagine, writers aren't your run-of-the-mill extroverts. I.e I enjoy company and making the place feel 'homely' but I also appreciate space.
Alright there! A bit about me: I'm 26 and make money freelance copywriting and digital strategy consultant for high traffic websites. I’m doing less and less of that as I bootstrap a Media company / podcast / Youtube channel, with an interest in long-form conversations about meaning and society. I’ve recently completed a Masters in Philosophy in the UK, much of which was done independently -- I’ve lived in Melbourne for 2 years, (since March 2016). I’ve been away from the city for 2 months, mostly in Europe travelling, working, and attending conferences. I’m originally from the UK, and have also lived in the US and Canada. I'm keen to live with people who are driven, and serious enough to not take themselves too seriously. I'm orderly about the house, communicate clearly, and respect privacy. Honesty, integrity, and a good laugh along the way.
I have lots of interests and know Melbourne well! I like the art and music scene and spend most of my time in the CBD. I'm currently finishing my final semester of a bachelor of advertising. So if you want to talk anything creative I love that stuff. I work on modeling as a hobby and like creating photoshoots etc etc. I'm planning to travel at the end of the year so I'd love to meet more active travelers! :)
Professional, house proud, easy going and funny! Not the worlds greatest cook, but love to have a go! Enjoy a glass of wine, unwinding after the working day, gym, a good movie and chat.
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I’m part of the customer service team at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.

Hey, I'm Shane 25 from the England. In love with Melbourne so far! I currently live in Kilsyth so i want to move closer to the city. I am a friendly and fun guy and i can get along with absolutely anybody! Love going to gym, bars, cinema, art galleries the lot. I currently have a few jobs. I work as a crew member around most of Melbourne's major venues doing things like putting up rigging & lights or even a stagehand. So i can sometimes get freebees after concerts finish ;) I am also a music producer and DJ. I treat them like a job and not like a party life style but do have fun from time to time. I like to make sure things are kept clean and in order so no need to worry about keeping a tidy household. Hope to meet you soon! Any questions hit me up :)
I'm extremely easy going, open minded and clean all the time. So anyone living with me always benefits as I do most of the the cleaning. I respect others needs for private space with occasional socialising. I'm a full time student and artist, so spend most of my time doing assignments or paintings. I'm looking for low maintenance housemates who are also not overly sensitive emotionally. Just want to live in a drama free household. 😊👍 I have a Japanese spitz (small-medium size dog), but can keep her at family if absolutely necessary.I also have some furniture so looking for a place that can accommodate furniture or has storage for furniture until I can figure out what to do with it.
Hi I was just wondering if this place is still available for me to come and have a look at. Just a little bit about me; I’m 25 and working full time in landscaping and Im also doing my masters in ecosystem management part time after hours. I am pretty into hiking, running and camping and other outdoorsie kind of stuff and I love to cook! Currently living in Fitzroy north but my lease is up and looking for a full lease transfer ASAP! I have taken the week off work this week to finish some assignments so I can come and have a look at the room and meet you guys whenever it is convenient! Thanks. Sam.
Hi, my name is Jess. I have recently relocated from Brisbane Melbourne! I am 27 years old and work as a town planner. I would ideally like to find a share house with an ensuite or my own bathroom. I am only bringing my bedroom furniture, so would prefer the remainder of the house to be furnished. Also, ideally looking for somewhere within short walking distance of a train station on the south morang line so it is convenient to get to my workplace using public transport. I am friendly and outgoing, enjoy socialising and having a good relationship with my housemates. I also like my downtime and am pretty quiet during the work week. Looking for a housemate / housemates who enjoy cooking dinner together or going out for a meal once a week, like to have a drink on the weekends, but also not looking to live in a party house every weekend. I like to live with people who are clean and tidy, especially in communal areas and respect each others privacy. I like to read, love coffee, love food, love a wine, a good night out or a weekend adventure. I would also like to live with people who don’t mind me having the odd visitor from Queensland every now and then! :)
G'day there reader, I am full timer 9-5 working in the CBD ready to move to a new private room. I really enjoy a place where people talk, but totally respectful of spaces. I'm usually quite reserved around new people but once I feel safe I enjoy touching on many topics and chatting away. I like to be passionate about the environment and nature, have always been open to discovering music or movies and do love pets.
Hi Alana and Jess, Looking for a home that is not just a sharehouse, but a space where I feel like I am coming home to a family of sorts, can share in wine/dinners/laughs and just chill out. In saying that, I also value my independence and there are some days where work is tough and I just want to come home and not have to talk about my day. I value respect and honesty, and an open home where people feel comfortable to talk about issues. I have a beautiful all-creatures-friendly pooch named Bernard, he is extremely well house trained and comes with sensational references. Ideally a home with people who will love and treat him like the ants pants. Definitely looking long term, don't want to have to move again for a long time. I like to get out of the city on weekends and explore/go hiking with Bernie, go camping or just get away with friends/go wine it up with friends I work as a psychologist at the Drug Court in the CBD. Hoping to eventually work in social policy so I can contribute to social justice from a legislative perspective. I love what I do and I am really passionate about encouraging tolerance and respect in the community.
Hey! Looking for a roomie to team up to find a place! I’ve been living in share houses for 4 years now and looking for a change of scenery from my current place. I work full time in a creative agency in south yarra. When I’m not working I’m at the gym, finding cool places to eat and binge watching Netflix. I’m a clean, respectful roommate and considerate of peoples stuff and space, but would love to share a vino from time to time. I have accumulated a lot of housey things like a fridge, couch and other appliances. I also require a space for my lil Suzuki. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a laid-back Canadian who's looking to set some roots here in Melbourne for the next year. I'm quiet, clean and very respectful of other people's space. I'm not a big party person, but I'm very social and looking to make new friends. I'm currently a freelance writer and yoga instructor. I also have good references, if you'd like to speak to some of my past housemates!
I am usually a social person, and I come home to recharge. I like keeping pot-plants alive and I don't mind living with dogs or cats. I like to talk about world events. I try to frequent art galleries, the theatre and the cinema to watch foreign films. I enjoy getting out of the house and being active. I like to ride my bicycle often. I also do yoga, and attend my local climbing gym (in the absence of a proper crag) regularly. When I can get out of the city, I like to go hiking. I try to cook healthy food, and I also love buckwheat pancakes with coffee from a French press for breakfast on a semi-regular basis. I am sort of a vegan. I am not going to preach to you about this, but I will say the smell of bacon makes me ill. I drink more tea and coffee rather than alcohol because I hate hangovers. Sometimes, I will have a glass of red wine though.
