Hey there! my name is Nessrine and I will leave my home country Germany very soon to spend a study abroad semester in Sydney. I can be a bit shy at first but I will quickly open up and can't wait to meet some great people! I'm not really a big fan of parties but I enjoy meeting up with friends and travelling.
Hello! I am fairly new to Sydney, and am looking to find a place to stay with someone. I work full-time in the City as a public servant, and would ideally like to live with another working professional. I have preference for the suburbs listed on my profile, but I am flexible. I don't own a car, so proximity to public transport, amenities (eg shops) is very important. I am somewhat of a hygiene freak so would naturally prefer someone like-minded. Definitely no smokers or pets please. I'm also after a home environment that is generally quiet and peaceful. I don't mind the occasional low-key get-together but no regular loud parties or music. I enjoy reading, exploring interesting places around Syd/NSW (hiking/walking), food.
I'm a socialable, clean and tidy person. I work with people as a Recreation Therapist / Disability Support Worker full time. I have an adorable dog that I take out for walks each day who is very affectionate. I will need to take her with me when I move. I'm passionate about singing in my Gaelic Choir and playing my Ukulele (I try to practice each day). My other hobbies include reading, listening to Audiobooks and Podcasts, cooking, watching Netflix and chilling, knitting and writing poetry. I really like meeting new people but will occasionally need some alone time. I have a very supportive boyfriend who will come over a few times a week to hang out with me. He's a nurse at the Children's Hospital I work at near Eastwood.
I'm neat tidy and respectful of others privacy and belongings. I have my own bedroom furniture so i am not interested in a furnished room. I work full time in a job i have held for 10 years in chatswood. I look after my own food and cook for myself but don't mind having the occasional meal with a house mate or a drink. I grew up on a cattle property and have lived in Sydney for 10 years. I have no pets but really do love all types of animals 🐶🐱 I pay my bills on time everytime so that will never be a problem. I come home from work tired and usually slip into some form of a nanna nap coma but recharge after an hour and come back to life. I am looking for an easy going house mate that doesn't sweat the small stuff in life.
Hi, I'm a working professional, quiet, cozy, open minded, good mannered and wants to team up with some one like minded. As such there is no restriction in terms of food and budget. Wants to be independent and can catch up over the week end just for the sake of enjoyment. Some one interested may contact me over phone or message me here... even with a low budget are welcome as I can increase my share in case I feel we can get along in sharing mode. Even private room in sharing accommodation is welcome. Thanks and Regards
Energetic, tidy, well educated, quiet, non smoker, looking for some congenial society. I am interested in cricket, and soccer. I am a dual Australian and British citizen. I am a chemist working in a lab at Lane Cove.
Hello! I'm looking for a clean/nice room with my own bathroom for short term. I'm an ethnic American working for NSW Health. I would ideally like to be friendly with my housemates but I often do my own thing. I'm very clean, responsible (I.e pay bills on time), left leaning (aka not a Trump supporter), laidback and open minded. As far as house rules, I believe in being an adult and being respectful to one another. There are some ads with special requests (ie no cooking, no guests—which I totally get) but I’m not looking for an environment that feels restrictive. I want both of us to feel comfortable living our lives and communicating preferences or talking things out of issues do arise. In reality, I don’t cook like crazy nor do I really entertain at home (and I respect work week hours even if we are not on the same schedule). If I do bring a guest or two, I always give my housemates a heads up out of courtesy. I’m also very tidy and prefer to live in a household that is the same. Also a plus if we can share kitchenware as I don’t own much stuff (ie just clothes). If you think this might be a good match, please let me know.
Hi! We are both students coming to Macquarie University to study from California for a year. Both of us are very clean and respectful of the people we live with and looking for people who can do the same. We are willing to share a room together or if two rooms are available we are open to that. Thank you!
Hi, I'm San! I came to Australia as an international student and graduated last year with a degree in women's political science. I'm a writer so I tend to be buried in books and with my writing but sometimes work part-time at a coffee shop. In my spare time, I like to head to the gym, watch movies (a lot of movies), TV shows and even play video games. I am clean, keep to myself (you will see me disappear when I'm writing) but also enjoy socialising with kind and warm people. Looking forward to meeting you!
I am a quiet person from Iran. I will be doing my full-time PhD at Macquarie University so I need a private room close to the Uni. I would like to share the property with 1 or 2 people who are neat and tidy.
Hello I am an international student of Macquarie University, North Ryde. I grew up in the city of Vadodara the cultural capital of Gujarat, India. Watching football matches with friends, swimming in summers, long drives through scenic roads and doing all the adventures in the world is what i like. I love travelling to new places and meeting new people. Music is a therapy that can do wonders. A decent roommate who considers cleanliness and sharing every homely tasks as his/her #housegoals is what I believe are the qualities of a perfect roommate.
I'm a very friendly and easy going person, quiet, tidy, and very respectful of other people's space and privacy. I work as a full time registered nurse at Ryde, so I'd prefer to live somewhere not too far from work. I spend what little free time I have with friends, and (sometimes) keep active with aerial fitness. Otherwise I'm usually a happy little couch potato who enjoys a good cheese and wine, watching netflix and random youtube vids and taking naps. Also I absolutely adore animals! I'll be on holiday overseas until the 24th of June so I will be looking to move out and get settled shortly afterwards. Lastly I'm only looking to share a home/apartment with females or a lovely couple only
I'm currently doing a semester abroad in Berlin and am looking for a short-medium term place to stay when I get back in August until I can find a more permanent place with some friends. I'm a fun person and love having a good time but I'll be doing uni full time at Macquarie Uni and working so you won't have to worry about noise or late nights too much. I'm not fussy and don't really mind what the room is like (my place in Berlin doesn't have fire alarms, a freezer or even a lounge room so pretty much anything's gonna be a step up). I'm also pretty easygoing so I'm sure we'll get along well!
My name's Scott - I'm a pharmacist just relocated back to Sydney to start a new job in Macquarie Park. I've been living the last two years in Scotland. I'm 32, clean and tidy. I'm friendly and sociable but happy to keep to myself much of the time as well. I'm easy-going and down to earth, with a great sense of humour. Fan of a cheeky glass of wine! Interests include music (I'm a fan of classical so you won't hear loud music coming from my room), reading, and other quieter pursuits - a great combination if you're studying a lot! Things I'm really looking for include good connections to buses (and ideally a train station) and walking distance to a grocery store as I won't have a car. A furnished room would also be a huge advantage.
Respectful of others space and privacy. I am quite but also social. Love sports doing and watching it, so an available TV will be great otherwise no worries I will get one. I am moving to NSW for 4 to 6 months only, maybe more but I will let you within fours weeks from moving date. I do have a 4 year old Daugther that I might be picking up from Kinder until her mom comes to get her. I do quietly play an acoustic guitar to relax in my own space though. I will need a washing machine and space to cook my meals, I am good and share cooking if asked. Some days I might stay home doing some computer work of drawing.
I am fun loving software engineer who often spends time reading books or programming but when not working, loves bowling, laser tag and many fun activities. I am good at playing Jenga, UNO and Monodeal too. So, if you are looking for someone who doesn't intrude your privacy, stays quiet but can be fun to hang out, drop me a message!
Hi I'm CJ, 23 and from Singapore. I'm taking a degree in Bachelor of Business Analytics at Macquarie University. I'll be able to move in from July 2018 onwards and i'm looking to rent an accomodation for a duration of 2.5 years or more. My interests are in gardening and cooking. :)
Hi, I am from New Zealand and I just moved to Australia this week. I am looking for a furnished private room preferably with own bathroom not too far from the train station! I will be working full time in the CBD and spending weekends exploring, going to cafes and some chilling too. I am easy going, respectful, friendly and clean.
I work full-time at Macquarie Centre and am about to start my masters at Macquarie Uni so I'm looking for something close! I'm pretty social and chill and don't mind a bit of cooking. I do like to keep busy but when I'm not out with friends or family, I'm snacking with a cup of tea and Netflix!
I’m a 27 year old Zimbabwean born, Texas raised girl. I’ve lived in. Australia for 4 years now. I’m a project coordinator for an international development non profit. I work full time Monday to Friday and am taking part time units towards my Masters degree. I spend most of my time at home either doing school work or binge watching my newest obsession on Netflix. Im trying to be conscious about what I put in my body so I do a fair bit of cooking as I meal prep. I’m otherwise easy going and mostly keep to myself. Happy to have a chat after work over a glass of wine but appreciate my space and privacy on days I’m not feeling too social. I love travelling and adventuring in my own city as well. I am very clean, neat and organised. I respect personal space and privacy and expect the same in return. In believe in being courteous and communicating if you are expecting guests or going to be away for the weekend. As long as we have a mutual respect for one another and open communication we should get along just fine.
