I am looking for a furnished room near City. I am an accountant, working all day and study CPA in the evening so I prefer to stay in a place that is quiet at the evening and at night. I use my room mostly for studying and sleeping and meet with my friends or do other activities outside my home but I am very happy to meet new friends. I don't have any furniture so I am looking for a furnished room with an air-condition. I prefer to stay initially short time (3 months) and then, if everything is fine, I can stay longer. In my free time I like hiking.
Hi all, Im a Sydney girl just recently back after 10 yrs away travelling and exploring different parts of Aus and the world. Looking to reestablish myself in a nice place with people who share similar lifestyle values. I work in event management and casually in hospitality. Im a people person and enjoy a chat and a few laughs with roomies. Also very independent person and enjoy my own time. I'm clean and respectful of shared spaces and pretty chilled most nights, as I am up early for work or exercise. I love nature and the outdoors, travel, good food and wine, yoga, music and good conversation :)
I'm looking for a spacious room with good brotherhood between flatmates. I'm Designer, brazilian, often get a blackpower hair when I wake up, pet lover, music lover, arts lover, beer lover, love, love....
Young corporate professional working in investment banking, looking for a place that is convenient for travel into city perspective and has a good local vibe. I usually keep to myself and most days work late. Keen on exploring new places, have my own car and usually spend the weekend out of the house. Open to share some exploring with flatmates. I'm very particular about cleaning and like to keep my stuff tidy, love cooking and going rock climbing on weekends.
I'm currently in North Sydney and seeking to stay in the area. I'm happy to chat and be social or to mind my own business. Christian, non-smoker, respectful and neat. Always reliable with rent.
I'm a young guy with a good, secure full-time job in the city doing Software Engineering. I enjoy good food, catching up on tv shows and listening to music. Looking for a nice sized room where I can have a desk for work but also live comfortably. I'm currently living in Hornsby and looking to move closer to the city for work.
Hey there! If you are looking for a tidy, organized, mature, social, respectful and positive teamplayer you have found one. I'm a 31-year-old Finn and will be starting work in North Sydney in April. I'm thus looking for a room (private) as near to it as possible. I'm very passionate about dancing and like singing too, but don't do the latter in the shower ;). You can also count in communication, languages, (future) technology, science, sustainability and neurology as other interests of mine. I don't smoke or consider myself as too much of a cook either so am able to keep smoke out of the kitchen too :D. I'm not a partyer, the energy for that is wasted on exercise and working during the daytime, but I do enjoy a salsa night out every now and then. And when enticed, a beer/wine with flatmates is always welcome. I have a recommendation letter from my former landlord in Finland and you can also check references about me as a guest from AirBnB or scoop on my profile on Facebook. Better yet, give me a ring and do a second degree in person :)
We are outgoing, yet studious people who are open minded, progressive and easy going. We are neat and conscientious and would enjoy group dinners and a glass of wine but also respect people's privacy. We have a small cat who spends 99 percent of her time outdoors and does not scratch furniture :)
Creative Event Designer originally from Brisbane moving for a work opportunity for the work/beach lifestyle. Excited to see what Sydney is all about! Love to hang out with people that have a great attitude and vibe about themselves. Considerate of others and love to meet new people and have a laugh. Excitement and intrigue follow me wherever I go ~ That's what my fortune cookie said Just Laugh 110 %
Hey guys, My name is Marianne. I'm currently a full-time student at Macquarie University, studying a Bachelor of Anthropology and minoring in Corporate Law. I also work part-time in Honey Birdette and tend to travel a lot for work. And I also play Field Hockey. If I'm not busy, you'll find me either catching up on my sleep, binge watching Netflix or having brunch at some cool cafes' (I can recommend a few) with some close friends. Few things about me: I love to cook and you'll always find me cooking up a new recipe or baking (which I'm still practising). I'm an avid hiker and love to travel (next destination: Morocco) and I have a knack for collecting facial products (strict night regime). In summarization, I'm very social and I love a good chat. I do have friends come over but they won't be a hassle and aren't noisy or will make a mess. Because of my busy schedule, I do appreciate a quiet night in and I'm not really a party-goer since most of my time I'm studying and working. If I'm the housemate for you, feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to get to know you. Any questions or inquiries please feel free to ask. Thank you for reading my whole essay (Please give me a high distinction for this) and I hope to hear from you. Marianne x
I am a researcher but also enjoy an active lifestyle. I work out a lot, cook a lot and also enjoy exploring the city. However, at home, I am quiet, respectful and very organized.
Hello I'm an easy going and tidy 26f professional who is looking for a furnished private room. There has to be an internal washing machine, dryer (or a corridor/backyard where I can hang clothes) and wifi. I just arrived in Sydney last 4th of March and will be working soon as a nurse in a hospital so I will have shift work but no graveyard and rarely weekends. I enjoy having my own privacy, I can be fun but can also be very quiet as I do respect other people's space. I love listening to music and sometimes singing. The main thing that I am looking for is the location. It has to be very close to bus stops/train. If possible a walking distance only to work. I hope I find a convenient place and friendly housemates here preferably female, or mixed gender in the apartment. Feel free to message me! Thank you! :) -Kat
Hi I'm Brooke! I'm your new DREAM flat mate ;) I'm a 20 year old girl, studying Commerce and working at Kookai! I'm very friendly, confident and out going and would love to consider my flat mates my friends as well! So PICK ME PICK ME!!! :)
Howdy! I am a student at the University of Sydney. Apart from spending time at the university, I work part time. I'm willing to shell out $350 per week (all bills included). I'm a non smoker, very sociable and quite particular about hygiene. Cheers!
French student in Sydney for this year coming. Now i'm in a homestay until I find someone looking for a flat share. I'm sociable and I love to meet new people, but sometimes I need some privacy and time for work. I like to go out, dance and enjoy the life. I would enjoyed becoming friend with my flatmate. I'm clean and tidy.
Hi :) I'm Annika, 28 years old and from Germany. I study Fitness and Sport Management 2 days a week and work part time as a travel agent at the moment. I like to be outdoors, to be active and love food :) I'm out of the house a lot as I'm quite busy. I need my own space to relax after work, so not looking for a party house but would love to live with like minded people my age to socialise and hang out with sometimes.

Details about me includes: - name: James Ray; - date of birth: 10/10/1992 (age 24 as of March 2017); - occupation: technical support engineer at Sungrow full-time, and learning C++ and other programming skills to use for local electricity trading with the blockchain; - industry: renewable energy; - Background Nationality: Australian Citzen (born in Katoomba, grew up in Springwood and Winmalee, been in Sydney since I started studying in 2011—finished B Eng in 2014) - days and times for meeting, discussions and viewing: preferably on weekends. I don't drink or smoke. I'm a vegan. I try to avoid imposing my views on others, especially if they don't seem like they'd be receptive or interested in my views. (Doing so is generally a waste of time, I would be better off working on changing myself). I do my best to be friendly and get along with others. As of the 25th of March 2017, I'm working full-time as a technical support engineer at Sungrow, and will probably continue working full-time for the next few months. I'm also learning C++ to use for development of local electricity trading with the blockchain in my spare time. My work days at Sungrow previously varied between two, three and five days per week, depending on demand and staff availability. I do my best to follow Self-Realization Fellowship teachings, meditate and go to a chapel every week (or a few times per week) in Surry Hills for group meditation, listening to a service reading, and chanting. For more information about me, visit Sustergy.co. Currently I live in Surry Hills. I want to live as close as possible to work at 61 Lavender St, Milsons Point NSW 2061, and so that I can live somewhere that is quiet. I'm looking for a place to stay for the long term. Here is my wishlist for a place (most are preferred and not a requirement, althought the more wishes are met the happier I'll be and the more likely I will be to stay long-term!): - have a furnished room with a single bed, chair, desk, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. I'm open to sharing a room so long as the rest of my preferences are met; - have storage space for two bikes (I may be able to get rid of one); - be quiet (ideally no speakers with TVs, computers, music, where tenants use earphones or wireless headphones); - be clean (no problems with pests such as cockroaches, ants, etc.), in reasonable repair (e.g. no leaking roofs, flyscreens so that mosquitoes don't get in), and secure; - have access to a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and free laundry (i.e. not a washing machine where you put coins in); - have fast, reliable internet that has a data limit that is always higher than the data usage (I don't use a lot of data as I don't watch many videos, download music, or play games); - have some bare soil to put two compost bins on (I make sure it doesn't smell by using a lid and covering it up with leaves or the like, and I don't put fecal matter or urine in) and have some gardening space; - have access to sunlight; - be less than $250/week; - have a landlord who is courteous, willing to do repairs if needed, or failing that, to let tenants do repairs or minor retrofits (like adding flyscreens, wall bookshelves, ceiling fans, external roller blinds, hooks or screws in walls or furniture to hang things); - sharing with spiritually minded, meditative, non-smoking, non-drinking, vegetarian/vegan, conscientious people; - be preferably close to Milsons Pt. Surry Hills is also OK, however Milsons Pt is preferred as of March 2017, as that is where I work; - payment available by bank transfer. Payment in cash only is something that I do not prefer due to tax evasion, inconvenience and insecurity. - have flatmates and a landlord who is OK with letting people use common areas, kitchen, bathroom and WiFi, trying them out at first with them being supervised. I am open to finding a vacant place to rent with suitable people who are also looking for a place.
