Hello! My name is Tim and I study biomedical engineering at UNSW in Randwick. I am originally from a country town called Armidale and I have just returned from a month backpacking in Peru. - I love running, exploring book-cafes and going to see local bands. I'm looking for a place to call home and feel comfortable in, yet still with a social aspect as I love to experience life fully. - My typical week days consist of travelling to university after going for a morning walk and I love travelling to visit other cities or bushwalking on weekends. - First and foremost I'm looking for balanced and mature housemates to share a house with this year up for a dinner party from time to time (not an Airbnb). I think cleanliness and house happiness stem from good relationships. A bonus would be well-equipped kitchen or garden/outdoor space. A house with character would be great but I think the people living in it are more important! - I am lucky enough to be going on exchange to Switzerland in September, so I am looking for a long term stay (but I can be flexible). Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to talk with you in person soon. Tim
Easy going gay guys who laugh a lot, like gold food/wine and binge watching Netflix. We both work full time, one being a small business owner, and we lead a fairly active social life. We have two small adorable dogs that live with us from Friday afternoon until Sunday evenings and are a lot of fun. We are looking for a beautiful place to live in and relax and cool housemates to interact with. We need a pet friendly place obviously too 😁
Hello, I am french-moroccan girl who are looking for a bedroom to share with her brother. I am working full time as financial controller in Sydney. We are tidy, easy going and very respectful people.Don’t hesitate to contact us :)
An international student. I have moved to Sydney for my Master's at USyd. Most of my time is likely to go into studies, part time job and football (soccer). Like most of the people on this platform, I too stay clean and tidy. I'm pretty chilled out.
Hey! I'm Theo, I'm a French student living in Sydney since July 2018 and I intend to stay here for one more semester! I'm studying Italian and communication at USYD and would love to find a place close to the uni. I'm a very chill person, I like to talk and I enjoy making new friends and learning new things. I enjoy listening to music (a lot) but I got headphones don't worry, and I like going out sometimes with friends, I'd consider myself a pretty chill and clean person that will keep a house clean and I hope the same from my housemates. I'm looking for something relax, with nice people who are keen to learn about me and share about them. I hope that will work! Cheers! A French guy looking for a new place to be ~
I’m Emily, 23 years old, just moved to Sydney from Brisbane. I work full time in the head office of a fashion brand based in Aexandria. I love cooking, very neat and clean, appreciate personal space and am quite a private person so I respect that in others! Cheers
Im a respectful, mature and personable person. I’m not interested in party houses. I’m a teacher and naturally bring work home to do. I don’t like being cooped up in the room all day/night and would ideally like a shared workspace/office in the living area or another room. Background noise is completely fine with me. Living with other professionals who understand a reasonable lifestyle at home through the work week is something that would ideally be mutually important. Don’t mind a good chat over dinner and wine or doing things together if we have shared interests whenever there are free moments. Love to get out on the weekends and catch up with friends and family. Enjoy swimming, dancing, rock climbing, literature - I read a lot (being a teacher), theatre, films, hiking, travelling, food and live music. Love jazz. Equally I enjoy my quiet r&r. There’s always work to do so I may make time for that on weekends during busier periods. I like to have home cooked meals and eat out only when catching up with friends or with company, so I tend to meal prep whenever I can - usually at weekends. Enjoy baking, not a great cook haha. I always pay my bills on time! I work well with any scheduled house chores, shelving order or communal kitty. I’m great at keeping my own space and shared areas tidy and clean and would love for housemates to do their share too. I wipe down surfaces after use, clean and put away kitchenware after use, help keep floors clean and just generally an adult who picks up after herself. I’m communal minded, so if I see that the trash is full, I’ll take it out... - all the common sense and curtesy stuff you’d love for a housemate to have and I wish for the same of others. I wouldn’t mind having friends over for a chat over wine or dinner occasionally and on nights that are reasonable for everyone else. None of them are party people and are all very respectful. I’m also great with communication and good at asking if things are okay with others, cool if it’s not, just let me know👍🏼. Would love a place that feels safe, drama free and filled with other respectful, mature and kind people :)
Hi! I’m a 29 year old Canadian coming to Sydney for a working holiday! I’m looking to find a great place to live and ideally would like to stay in the same spot for a year. I recently completed a two year working holiday in England and stayed at the same job and flat the whole time! I’m very clean, quiet, and respectful. A private, furnished room is a must. I would like to be centrally located. Being near public transportation is important to me, and preferably near a supermarket and gym. Ideally there will be laundry facilities onsite. I do not need parking. I arrive in Sydney in February 26th, so I won’t be available for viewings until then, but I’m hoping to move in on March 1st!
Hey! I'll be arriving in Sydney around 28th March on a working holiday, where I plan to do some IT contracting, so will need a place to stay. I'm an easy going, social guy, who doesn't mind having a beer or two/going out with housemates, but at the same time enjoys my own space every now and then. I enjoy going to the gym/staying active, and watching alot of TV shows/movies too. I'm also quite a clean person, always tidying up after myself etc.
I am a 21 year old law graduate from the UK who is moving to Sydney on the 18th February in order to begin working as a paralegal in the CBD. I enjoy playing netball, keeping fit, going out and socialising. I am a clean, tidy person who is looking for a comfortable home whilst I am in Sydney. Thanks!
I recently moved to Sydney coming from Dubai. I now live here as a permanent resident and work full time as a project manager for a french multinational in the environmental sector. I have Lebanese origins, speak french and english. I am quite open minded.. always happy to meet new people with different backgrounds. I enjoy travel, nature, outdoors and good food :)
Hi! I'm Florian, and I'm super excited to move to Sydney for the first time, from Liverpool in the UK. I'm a big fan of comedy, good coffee and the occasional whisky. I'll be busy with my new job as a transport planner during the week - but being new to the city, I'm also looking to meet new people to hang out and have fun with every once in a while.
I am a 27 year old marketing professional from Sydney looking for a modern, spacious and tidy place to call home. I’m easy to get along with, laid back, drama free and a tidy person. On the weekdays you’ll find me working (and taking work home), cooking, Pilates and Netflix. On the weekends I love to catch up with friends, shop, have some cheeky drinks or stay in and Netflix and chill. I don't own a car so no parking space required. Would prefer a non-smoking environment.
Hi, I just recently graduated from honours in economics. I am currently having a holiday overseas and will be back to Syndey on 26th Feb. For the past two years, I stayed with university housing. Before that, I was in shared houses and lived with people from different backgrounds including Chile, China, Brazil and Korea. I am an active and easy going person. Love movies and binge watching House of Cards... Also enjoy hiking or going to the beach on weekends. Looking for a clean, bright and affordable room that is reasonably close to central. Preferably with access to public transportation (bus, train or light rail etc.) Would love a glass wine or a pint of beer while chatting with housemates occasionally but value a certain degree of privacy. Thank you.
Hi guys, my name is Louis but people normally just call me Lou. I am looking for an existing place or like minded people to share a place with. This will be my first time out of home, something I am very excited about and have thought of for a while now but had to put off to pursue of other goals. It is now the time for me to do this. Though I have never lived out before, don't fret, I am well travelled and shared all types of accomodation with people before. By trade, I am a professional in the finance industry specialising in commercial lending. Work's pretty full on so I'll be out with the extracurricular activities I do until mid evening most weekdays. My weekends will be involve a mix of downtime/relaxation; socialising and catch ups and pursuing my interests. My hobbies and interest constantly change (I get bored quick!) but for now its gym, muay thai, travel, food and personal development. Places/housemates I would be interested in are: - Clean and tidy - With my own bathroom ensuite preferred (but not essential) - Offstreet parking - Modern style apartment - Has a warm homely ambience - No more than two other housemates - Non party house - Has internet - Convenience to transport and amenities The housemate I would be is: - clean and tidy (semi OCD) - respectful and considerate - sociable - lets chat or hang out but also will let you do you and have your space - easy going
Hi there! I'm a full time professional looking for place to move into sometime in 2019 (dates flexible). I am on the hunt for something that is relatively close to the Sydney CBD. A little more about me - I’m a fairly social person, enjoy the outdoors, get addicted to Netflix shows, and am a lover of travel and food (including baking!). I am a busy person with my own social/personal/work commitments, but I do like to get to know/be social with my housemates. I also like my (and respect other’s) personal space, and clean up after myself. I have lived in share houses/rented before overseas and in other Australian cities. If you think I'll be a good fit for your place, please don't hesitate to contact me! Ashna
Looking for a private room. Friendly but quiet. Non smoker, do not drink and vegan. Will be happy to find a vegetarian household but open to all spaces. Am environment conscious and believe that people sharing a space should clean up after. Very light cooking. Cheers, LANS
I am a friendly fun loving 25 year old who works in the CBD as a croupier. I can make a mean spaghetti bolognaise, very respectful of other peoples lifestyles and keep to myself. I am a smoker and hardly drink. I am a poet at heart and would love to be published. Also studying a Double degree of Journalism and Media and Communications online in my own time. If bills are included I can do $300 maximum per week. I come with my own bed, bedside tables, ottoman and chest of drawers so would prefer unfurnished. I would prefer my boyfriend to stay over a few nights a week, so I hope you understand that it is a priority for me.
