I like to eat reasonably healthy and enjoy the gym. I am a clean and tidy person and easy to live with. I will be studying nursing while i am in Melbourne so in the lend up i may have to do shift work once i get the job i want in that field. i look forward to meeting new people and enjoying life in Melbourne :)
Hi my name is Habiba, I am 24 (soon to be 25). I just moved to Melbourne where I work as a service delivery manager for an IT company. I am pretty chill, laid back and tidy. I will be spending my early mornings at the gym and most day at work. I am very friendly and self aware. Looking to live within 20 min commute to CBD.
Hi, I'm Stephen I have a five year old boxer dog, that is a high priority for me so the house mate that I'm looking for has to be an animal person. I like to make my house a home, I'm a very clean and organised person. I work full time, and enjoy keeping myself fit going to the gym regularly, at night I like to wind down and get ready for the following day, I enjoy cooking, the occasional glass of wine, and I'm not a party person anymore. I don't have a preferred flat mate, and it doesn't bother me if you have children or pets, the main priority is someone with respect and a person that wants a nice home. If you think we could work let's catch up for a coffee, open to locations and price, prefer inner city, always lived inner south east.
I'm a Brazilian/Italian urban planner, in Melbourne for a PHD. I'm a clean, organized and easygoing person. I'm here to study, so I'll be quiet at home. I like my privacy and respect other's. I love sports, especially water sports, like SUP, surf, swimming, and cycling. I'd love to live close to the beach.
I'm looking for a comfortable, clean and quiet place to stay. I'd like to share my life in Melbourne with kind mates and make them get my friends like a family! I'm from Spaim and I'm physiotherapist and teacher. I'm a responsible and kind girl who loves nature, animals and making friends around the world. I used to dance in Spain and I always do yoga for fun. Looking forward to findind an amazing place to stay and lovely mates to share it!
Hi potential flatmates! I'm looking to move into the city ASAP! I am a tidy, chilled out kinda gal. I'm sociable so I love to go out and have adventures and enjoy Melbournes night life but home is my sanctuary - I'm not the type to throw parties at home. I have a good sense of humour and get along with most people. I'm really respectful of others and their needs and understand the need for down time. I've had experience house sharing and if you are in need of a reference I will send you their details as requested. I'd love to live in the CBD (or as close to) and have a single room of my own. I hope that you consider me a good candidate to share an apartment with. Please get in touch!
Toby - 28 - Kiwi I'm a Project Manager in construction by trade, working at Melbourne Airport. I currently live in a flat down on Station Street, Carlton, but looking for a more sociable (and potentially cheaper) flat. I'm a personable and social person, enjoy training, surfing, a few beers and cooking.
Hi! Im Sedef, Im a lawyer who decided to be backpacker at the same time. for this year ı decided to move Melbourne, to start up my legal career. I am carrying a discoverer deep inside of me which makes me very easy going socially, Im a nature lover and also love travelling, biking, tasting and cooking foods, dancing with good music, talking and sharing a part of life with good people. I'm a tidy person who respect people's personal space. I lived in many shared houses and flats before, inside and outside of Turkey. so I'm used to live together with other cultures and languages. Im gonna work part time but basically am supported by my parents so the rent will always be paid on time. Anything else you wanna know please don't hesitate to contact with me.
Hey future housemates, I am a sharehouse fan, I have lived in Melbourne with 2-5 other people for the last 5 years. I like to share a meal together now and then and do my own thing sometimes, whatever really. I work full-time in the city Monday-Friday and spend a fair bit of time on road trips/out of the house on weekends. Hobby-wise I am a coffee obsessive, and will likely have one in my hand when I'm at home! I am a pretty clean person and am happy to keep the house as tidy as everyone feels like. That's about it really, looking forward to meeting you! Tom
I pay my bills on time, I like my privacy and I respect yours. If I find a shared space with people in it I proceed to survey the mood and offer the following: -appropriate jokes -inappropriate jokes -banter My name is John but my friends call me milford, after salad fingers I'm 29. I spend a lot of time doing serious stuff so I hope to live with people who can switch off after hours, have a sense of humor and like adventure. Thanks!
Moving back to Melbourne next week after 2 years in the UK and 6 months in South Africa before that. Have been working as a Dietitian/ teaching assistant/ chef/ waitress over that time. But looking to get back into the hospitality industry in a full time management role. A little bit about myself, I love travelling obviously and closely rivals my second love of food. Cooking, eating, general looking at food it's all equally satisfying. I often find myself cooking for my housemates, trying out new recipes for my food/photography blog and am always needing guinea pigs for taste testing. I lived in Melbourne four years ago while I was studying and am really looking forward to rediscovering it. I'm looking to find a share house with rather social people who are keen to head to the local pub, cook a meal with or have a chat of a glass of wine or two. I would say I'm a rather social person but I do enjoy my own time now again and can tend it chill in my room from time to time. I've lived in share houses for the past 8 years so I think I've learnt to be a pretty easy person to live with. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and am good at taking the rubbish out. A little bit about some of my interests in case your'e interested - yoga, pottery, running, music (lately mostly classic African disco vibes), photography, brunch, gin (if that can be included as an interest), writing, reading and getting lost.

We are Stefano and Valeria coming from Sardinia, the second biggest island in the Mediterranean sea! We are 29 and 28 years old, and consider ourselves friendly, respectful, honest and funny! We decided to leave our island to join a new experience for a year, as we really love to explore new fields and get in touch with different cultures. Stefano worked as Renewable Energies technician for 5 years, while Valeria is a tourist guide and Italian/ Spanish teacher. We both are passionate about food and really enjoy cooking for others, mixing traditional Italian recipes with international flavours. We love animals, exploring nature and living a sustainable lifestyle where possible. Plus, Stefano could help you in case you need to do interior and exterior repair and manteinance works, due to his fix-up tasks and meticulous attitude. Valeria is a people person, always interested in having a good chat. We read very carefully your description and we are really interested! If you think it's a match, please let us know so we can come to see you. Ciao! Stefano & Valeria
HEY! I'm Mackenzie, 21 Years old looking for an awesome share house! Currently working in retail with big aspirations to be a movie star. I'm chill and relaxed, I have a full social life so wont be floating around the house aimlessly.
Hi I'm from Sabah, Malaysia if you've heard of the Borneo Island that's where it is. I've been in Melbourne for two years now and extending my stay for another half a year. A full time Masters student but planning to take a part-time job since I have more days to myself for just doing one subject this semester. During free times if I decide to bum at home I would watch movies or bake. Yes, bake. If the budget permits it encourages me to go out hunt good places to hang out, have good food and drinks. I run time to time, I think I should run more. Best to do all with company of course.
Hi there! I recently moved to Melbourne to pursue full time postgrad degree at RMIT. I am very laidback, I enjoy reading, sports, cooking, videogames and learning/teaching languages. I am an engineering student but have many diverse interests. I have a lot of experience in living in shared accommodation so you can definitely expect me to be tidy and clean up after myself. Also I will respect others' privacy and be considerate towards their needs. I am hoping to move in to a place and settle down before semester start. Cheers!
Just moved over from Perth, fresh grad and trying my luck over here. So hoping for the place to be furnished. Hoping to become a journalist over here. I'm really outgoing, easy going, loves to have fun, love a bit of wine here and there and definitely sociable. I love to cook, so I would offer to cook here and there when I have time. Always up for a night out and chats over dinner. Yeah, that's about me. P.S Rent will be paid on time, because I have a deal with the parents.
Hello parce. I'm 25 year Colombian guy, friendly, easy going, respectful, tidy, who enjoy meeting people from diferent cultures and travel!!! Hi there ! My name is Nicole, 24 years old and I was born and raised in Czech Republic. My passion is sport, love playing tennis which I used to play competitively and I am a tennis couch as well. Love listening to house music and drum and base but in general I kinda enjoy any type of music. My job is located in Keilor East where I work as a Graphic designer, don't ask me how I get there! :-D I've lived in Denmark where I was studying and working for one year. I am currently in Melbourne and it's been one and a half years since first time I came to Australia. I am a DEAKIN UNI student and I have last semesetr left. I study Graphic Design and Visual Communication so I reckon my personality is really creative :-D. Overall I maintain cleanliness in the apartment / house and I am excited to meet some new friends and have a fun while I have to do some studies. My university is going to start soon therefore I am looking for place with a great location and nice people. 🙂 I am looking for rent for 4 or more months. Please let me know, so we can manage some house / apartment inspection. Thanks Nicole
I love to socialise and meet new people! I find living with new people fun as I am originally from Scotland so I enjoy learning about other people's heritages over a glass of wine - or five. Having done a Law degree in Scotland I work full time as a legal assistant, a job I really love. For fun I enjoy going on long walks, going to the beach, anything new and adventurous and of course, a couple of vino blancos!
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Finland. I have been in Melbourne for about four months and working full time (weekdays 9 to 5ish) doing digital marketing and design. I'm looking for a nice place thats close public transport and the city. Preferably until the end of July (five months), but also open for shorter periods. I'm really into music and all kinds of creative stuff in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and other events around the city or just hanging out with friends, watching movies and etc. I have plenty of experience sharing apartments around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. I'm also responsible, clean and reliable, so I'm happy to do my bit around the house and will take care of the rent and bills without a hassle. Not too interested in a party house, but a friendly and easy-going share-house environment. Feel free to contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Me and Jack will provide beers and banter! We are clean, tidy and respectful of your space and home We like to socialise and would love to make a few friends but are happy with our own company too.

Hi, I’m John, looking to share a house with some like minded people. I love the outdoor, very into my work, my tv shows and friends :)
I am a patient, friendly guy who is a relatively new parent and loves sharing Mexican food and Acroyoga. The Food because I am Mexican and the acro, because I truly believe it brings the raw humanity we all haven in each person. I am a stable 4 days a week worker with education and young people and spends much of my time out at work and with my child. I am social, easy to chat and love to share things and also have my own space.
I'm Joyce. I'm a postgraduate student in the Melbourne Uni. I'm a clean and tidy person who would always keep my room neat. I love cooking , traveling, hiking...And I'm an easygoing and considerate person who would think in other people's shoes.
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Hey lads, I'm a german PhD Student in Melbourne looking for a room in a flatshare with awesome people. Location: close to Uni Melb. I love music (especially Irish Folk, Classic Rock and Electronic Music), modern Art and I have to admit a part of me is a nerdy physicist. I also love to wear white socks and flip-flops to make sure people know I'm german. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. If you speak Portuguese, French, Italian or any other cool language I'll do my best to learn it! Open minded, easy going person, keeping the house clean and down for fun! Looking forward to meet you in person, Cheers Lukas
I am conversational and sociable but also like my own company, i clean up after myself, i like doing things around the house, i am relaxed and easy going and i also like to cook. I work full time (45-55 hours a week). I enjoy a broad range of activities, i love my music and attending gigs/festivals around the country with my mates, i enjoy a bit of the footy, a few beers to unwind and relax, i love my movies and board games, camping, going down to the coast, road tripping and travelling around the world.
About Me : I'm a full-time student pursuing Masters of Information Technology at RMIT. I'm from the IT hub of India - Bangalore. Being a conservative person and Christian for over three years now, I don't drink, smoke or party. Having mentioned that, I am an ambivert, amicable and considerate person. To be honest I'm a rookie when it comes to cooking (still working on it). However, I do have a couple of easy recipes up my sleeve. Hobbies: - I mostly enjoy listening to Christian worship music, classic hymns, instrumentals etc. Current Tenancy: - Staying at Unilodge On Campus. - Moving out on Feb 22nd 2017. Preferred Accommodation: - Fully furnished. - Private room. - Preferably close to the Melbourne CBD (from 5 to 30 or maybe 45 minutes max by bus, tram or train). Budget : - I am willing to pay as much as 200 AUD a week provided it covers all utility bills and includes the Internet.
I m Berk from Istanbul,Turkey. I m an industrial engineer. I will be there in march. I am respectful of other people, tidy, friendly and easy to get along with.
I'm a 28 year old professional working in the CBD. Both my previous housemates recently found their dream gigs overseas, so looking for a new pad with some all-round great people. Friendly and easy-going. Pull my weight around the house but not OCD. Prefer housemates who are up for a chat and going out every now and then, but have my own life and totally get it if you like spending nights in and doing your own thing too. Bonus points if you're up for a hit of tennis.
Ahoy, I'm Steph Non smoker, not into drugs. I am a social drinker, love to have a chat and get out and about when Melbourne decides to have nice weather. Big fan of The Simpsons and Bob's Burgers, can be a bit geeky at times. I work in retail so I do have a rotating roster including weekends. I'm extremely respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and wish to be around others who are the same. Ideally I'd like to live with people around the same age and experience a mixed gender household. Because work is in the city I need to be near transport and I do have a car so parking is necessary (off street would be heaven). I'm not exactly too fussed about suburbs right now as long as it cuts down my commute time (1.5 hour travel at the moment is draining my life) and I'm comfy with whoever I live with. I'm pretty terrible at cooking but I like eating / am willing to learn how to not poison others. If you think I may be suitable for your home send me a message :) Cheers!
Hi! I'm Monika (21) and studying my second year of science at Melbourne uni. I'm originally from Geelong and looking to move closer to uni. I love sports and volunteer tutoring. I work part time on the weekends. I'm neat, tidy, easy to live and I'm looking for some fun housemates to live with! Thank you :)
Former lecturer/academic, just moved home to Melbourne from Japan (where I used to do research) and the UK (even more research). I'm in the middle of a career change, starting full time literature studies at Melbourne soon and then planning to go on to teacher training. Most of the time I'm either out and about at classes or have my nose in a book ;) Decidedly introverted but equally enjoy some friendly banter. I'm vegan, but not preachy about it...and if you have animal friends in the house they will get free unlimited cuddles on demand forever! When not studying can be found experimenting with my 'culinary jazz,' cycling further than my friends say I can, contemplating awesome art, working on my own (less awesome) art, and engaging in various voluntary help-the-animals activities. Looking for somewhere safe, quiet, and orderly to settle, but with just enough eccentricity to keep life interesting :)
Hi, I'm Quentin, 23 years old from France. I arrived in Melbourne on Monday night and I just started an internship to validate my Master's degree at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research near the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking for an accommodation available ASAP for a period of 6-7 months. I am paid and I also received a French scholarship for my internship, so I will have no problem paying my rent on time. Since my 18 years I do house/flatsharing, so I am more than accustomed. During this period, I crossed many people from different countries not any Australian yet ! Sociable by nature, I know how to adapt to the characters of my roommates, I do my share of household tasks and I am a real cordon bleu ! Even if we separate our food, I often cook or do pastries to pass the time. You could have your share ! I will also be delighted to start a discussion about a beer or a glass of wine either outside or at home. I think I'm never short of discussion, this is surely my French side! I do not think our age difference is a problem. Cheers, Quentin.
Hello, I'm Salamata (Saly), 22 years and I am a French girl. I work at Austin Hospital in Heidelberg Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 5. I practice Athletisme at Melbourne Uni three times a week and like adventure and sport. I am a respectful and an organize girl but still like the none plan stuff, socializing and having fun ^^. I would enjoy living with all sort of people, I am looking for social housemate who are open for chat.
I'm a 27 year old arts graduate from London and I've recently started working in the Clayton area at an auction house. I'm very easy going and liberal. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking vegan food, cycling and yoga.
Monday to Friday corporate life, I work full time in HR. I'm always down for binge watching a good tv show or movies or UFC. Enjoy going to gigs (if you're in need of a gig buddy I'm your gal) and like getting out of the city and going on hikes / camping. Social but also want to be able to chill out on my own. Also respectful of others' need for me time. No pets but an animal lover, extra points if you have a cat.
Hello! My name's Brendan and I have the regular amount of fingers and toes, but I'm not discriminatory towards people with differing numbers of digits. I run my own business installing air conditioning and heating. I play a bit of guitar, like to go see live music and comedy. I like TED talks, podcasts, documentaries, minimalism, things of that nature. I'm not after a party house, but it's good to have housemates that you can chill with and have a drink and a chat with when it calls for it. I have lived in many share houses before and I own a rental property in the outer eastern suburbs so I am big on respecting other people's space and property and paying for things on time. On time with bills and rent is my thang. I'm also keen on off street parking given I've got a van full of tools. :)
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a recent graduate and work full time in HR. I'm looking to live somewhere close to the city for an easy commute to work. I'm an outgoing person who loves a laugh and some quality chats. I would ideally like to live in a social household that are down for watching terrible TV shows and sharing a meal/having a drink together. My inner introvert does cause me to need a bit of chill time to myself though! Overall I'm easy going and friendly. I'd prefer to live in a mixed-gender household and do have a pet cockatiel who I would love to bring with me (if at all possible). He's a small bird, so not too noisy and he would be housed in my room. I would be happy to live with people with a doggo, however cats are out of the question because that's a tad risky with the bird. Despite the bird I'm pretty normal, aside from my slightly weird sense of humour. So feel free to contact me if you think I sound like a somewhat decent potential housemate. I'm open to existing share houses or starting a new one :)
After travelling Europe for a couple of months, I'm now in need of a new home. I have no idea what I'm doing with my life, so I'm happy with both temporary and longer-term homes. I'm sure I'll be in Melbourne for at least the next 6 months, probably longer, so I'm happy to sign a lease and such. I've been living in share houses for many years, so I'm well house trained, clean, respectful, chill and all that jazz! I'm available to move in anytime. A bit about me: I'm 24; I have a love of animals; my favourite meals are brunch, pre-dinner snack and dessert; I enjoy nature and sitting in parks; I've been working full time at a ski store for what feels like forever (but I enjoy it); I try to always look at the positive and/or funny side of life; my hair colour/style changes frequently (currently pink); I just started attending aerial circus classes for fun/fitness and love it; I rely on public transport to get around; and I'm currently coming out of a 6 year obsession with Hi-5 (the kids band) that basically consumed my life. I will also provide daily smiles.
Hi guys, My name is Niki, a dutchgirl, 28 years old. I'm a very easy going and social person but I also like to do things on my own. I love wine and cheese, good talks, outdoors and coffee. I work fulltime during the week so I'm away from home often. Within a few weeks my best friend will move to Melbs so if possible we would like to share the room. I prefer a furnished room and roommates who like the house clean. I can move in straight away. Not sure how long i'm staying but at least 3 months but prob longer ;-) Hope to meet you soon! Greets Niki
Hello ! We are Sam and Molly, we have been renting in Melbourne for 3 years, and living together for 1. We are pretty cruisy people who are neat and considerate of others. We both love cafes, coffee, music (triple j), travelling, dogs, Netflix and don't mind a wine or beer of a night time. We aren't into clubbing but do enjoy going to a bar or pub every now and then. Sam likes: AFL, Soccer, playing guitar (although not good at all), live music, and is partial to a game of FIFA. Molly likes: Live music, wine, yoga, heading to an exhibition every now and again, and trying to keep our herbs alive. We are looking to move into a place with another couple, preferably in the Fitzroy/Northcote area. Our current lease on the 18th or March, however we would like to have a place sorted before then. And would be more than happy for it to start earlier. Flick us a message and we can grab a coffee 😊
Hi, I'm 26 years old, originally from Perth but have been in Melbourne for 3 years and I am not going anywhere anytime soon. I am a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne part-time (at the moment 4 days/week, 9-5 hours). I am also in the second year of my PhD in law/journalism, which means I spend a lot of time at the university but may be studying from home occasionally. I'm into yoga, running, reading, brunching and trying out the billions of restaurants/bars with friends. I also love travelling and seeing the outskirts of Melbourne. I keep pretty busy, but enjoy my quiet "hibernation" time every so often. I would love to live in a place where we can share a drink and a meal, instead of circling around each other. I am very clean, respectful of others space, on time with bills and take pride in my home.
Originally from Syd (don't hold that against me) and have been in Melbourne for the last few years Work full time in sports media and digital. Social like all the normal stuff stay active, like to cook good food just as much as going out. Looking for an easy house with a good vibe
Hey guys! I'm on a look out for a long term room preferably around northcote/fitzroy north/thornbury/fairfield/preston/brunswick/east. I'm 27 years old, and I am starting my PhD in Social Sciences at La Trobe University (Bundoora Campus). It is 3-4 years program, so it would be nice to find housemates I could call friends :) I'm very chilled, vegetarian, clean, love yoga, travelling and cooking. I love a drink of wine and a chat every now and then but can also respect personal space. I've been living in many countries for the last 3 years. I spent 11 months in Melbourne and went travelling for almost 6 months. Now I'm back here and would love to settle down somewhere. I preferably need something furnished, but if it's unfurnished it won't be a big issue. I'm looking to live in a house with a garden/ backyard, so not very keen for apartment. Unfortunatelly I am allergic to cats. However I love dogs, so if you have one I can even take care of him sometimes! Please me know if you have anything available!! xx
I'm laid back and easy to get along with, clean and tidy. Spend most my free time being a nerd.
Hey, I'm an easy going person, work full time in marketing. Pretty chilled out and easy going, not looking for a party house but wouldn't say no to a few drinks on a Friday night
I'm a 22 year old student from Norway, looking for a room to rent for at least 6 months. I am doing my bachelor at University of Melbourne and would like to live close by. So if you're looking for a flat-/ house mate to keep you company for the next few years that might be me ;) I love traveling, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I'm an active person, doing everything from dancing to crossfit. Even though I enjoy working out and running around, I also love sitting down with some nice food and good wine and dont forget the chocolate! Its important to have a balance between a quiet night in with a book or a tv-show and a big night out. I'd say I'm a pretty tidy and kind hearted person :) If you think you have the perfect place for me to stay, please get in touch!
