Hello! I'm a 24-year-old American making the move to Australia to work full-time out of my company's Melbourne offices. I work in tech consulting for a company called Bluewolf. Originally from Boston, MA currently residing in Denver, CO. I enjoy exploring new cafes/bars/restaurants, hiking, traveling, puppies, and a good Netflix binge. I don't know many people in Melbourne so it'd be great to live with people who are open to being friends, but also I totally respect the need for personal space after a full day/week of work. Also, probably important for me to note I'm a big advocate for keeping all common areas clean + tidy, nobody likes a dirty home. :)
Hi, I'm Sunny, 25, I'm about to finish my Masters at Swinburne and work part-time as a customer representative at a Car rental Company. Hello there, I am house proud and would like my home environment to be a sanctuary, I love a house with lots of house hold plants, I would like come home to a clean environment this is important to me, I value people who are also house proud and pro active, I am considerate, environmentally aware, I am not vego, but mainly cook vego at home, I am quite social I like to hang, chat with my housemates and occasionally have a dinner or have a beverage every now and then. I do value down time and respect other peoples spaces and energy. I am reliable, organised with bills and rent, I have been living in share houses for many years now and know how important to find a home and not just a share house. I am working full time in fashion retail, I am highly independent, fairly organised, I do have a strong love for fashion, textiles, design, art, films, natural therapies, mindfulness, yoga, meditation, a lover of nature, I like to hang out with my friends, going out for dinner or drinks, I tend to do most of my socialising out of the house. When I am at home I like to either have down time or if my house mates are around and up for it maybe go to the local pub for a drink or what ever works out. I have some house hold plants, lots of furniture but I would only really only want to bring a 3 seater black Italian lounge. I also have a med century 3 seater lounge, a small 50's dining table with some chairs, lots of kitchen equipment, pots pans, knife block, utensils, crystal wine glasses, some wall hangings, I can sell these or can bring to the new home if needed. I have a 12 year old indoor, toilet trained, short haired cat, so it is really important to find cat friendly people and home. I hope to meet you in person and thank you for looking at this space. :) Ju ju
Hi, Sydney girl just moved to Melbs. Full time working professional that likes a wine on the couch at the end of a work day and to watch some QandA or cricket or even some sneaky trash tv. Quite laid back but like to live quite clean. Out most weekends and some weeknights.

I also like going to gigs, arts n crafts, and wearing two pairs of pants in winter (becuase Melbourne is bloody cold).During the week I'm pretty busy with work, uni and dance ( I dance a lot too). I'm generally pretty relaxed and dont sweat the small stuff.Let me know if you would like to know a bit more about me.
Hi! I’m a 26 year old physiotherapist working full time. Originally from Scotland I’ve started a new life down under. I enjoy getting outdoors, triathlon training and enjoy a nice wine with good food and company. I’m extremely clean and tidy, have 8 years rental history and enjoy making a home out of somewhere I live rather than just seeing it as somewhere to live. Look forward to hearing from you! Joanne

I’m pretty chill and easy going, work full time mon-fri. reliable with bills, respectable blahblahblah. . looking for a place with some cool flat mates long term. Hey there! My name is Oliver and I'll be moving to Melbourne with my best mate Carlos at the start of May. After living in Mildura for most of our lives it was definitely time for a change of scenery, and two hard-working, humorous and kind-hearted guys are heading your way. We will be aiming to move in with Lewis, Oliver's younger uni-going brother who has been living in Melbourne studying for the last year. As a bunch of strong headed young adults we intend to make our time staying with you not only a bunch of fun, but a chain of memories you'll cherish for a lifetime. Do yourself a favor and give us a shot, we have so much to prove!
I am a Swiss professional about to move to Melbourne for some years, working in business consulting. I am reliable and pay my bills on time, I am reasonably clean (home trained by previous relationships…), am outgoing, sociable and open, but like to have some down time sometimes too. In my free time I like to be active and do a lot of sports, like gym, running, skiing in winter, possibly surfing in summer and baseball. On the weekends I like to go for a drink or two, hunt for the latest craft beers and go to all kind of events. Possible as well well for shorter time frame, like a few months...
I'm pretty relaxed, organised, reliable and really care about living in a tidy and clean home. I love meeting new people but am not big on living in a party house. I'm mostly looking for a quiet place to live as I'm moving out of a very noisy apartment in the CBD! ---- What I am looking for in a property (After wading through the jungle that is Melbourne real estate for 11 years, my needs have become very specific ;) 1) Split heating/cooling 2) Double glazing/a quiet location 3) 1/2 hour train/tram into the city, or a 1/2 hour walk to South Melbourne Market 4) Somewhere well built where the neighbors can't be heard 5) Away from noisy main streets or high enough that it doesn't matter 6) Somewhere with modern fixtures that make the apartment easy to keep clean 7) Own/Ensuite Bathroom for each of us 8) Bedrooms that don't share walls. --- What I am hoping for in a flatmate 1) Someone who understands I'm looking for a quiet and relaxing living space 2) Someone who is okay with me being up at 6AM and leaving for work by 6:30AM 3) Someone who cares about keeping a neat, clean and tidy house 4) Someone who is willing to be reliable with rent payments and helping with any repairs/issues that might arise with the property over time 5) Someone who is cool with agreeing on house rules to follow to keep things civil 6) Someone who doesn't mind that I have living room furniture (couch and dining table, washing machine and fridge) that I want to move into the apt. (If you have a better fridge than I do though, I'm willing to leave mine behind!) 7) No couples or pets, please and thank you :) --- A bit more about me: I'm a 30-year-old Graphic Designer from Melbourne who works full time in South Melbourne, Monday to Friday from around 7AM - 5/6PM. I love food, films and checking out exhibitions, talks and local festivals around the city during the week. If I am at home, I'm usually taking it easy or working on my own design projects.
Hey there! My name is Sydney, I’m 20 years old and just moved to Melbourne from Canada. I work in hospitality, and have been a waitress full time for almost 3 years back home. I have been working in Melbourne now for about a month. I am a happy, social, clean person. I love to spend time outside, and can’t get enough of this sun! Definitely beats the -40 weather we have back home. I like to read, write, do yoga, bike. If it sounds like we would hit it off, send me a message!
I'm a happy, positive, mature, very easy to get along with professional, sociable but love quiet time out at home, to relax after work. I do shiftwork in a hospital emergency department (admin, not a nurse, lol). My shifts are mostly late starts, late finishes so looking for somewhere fairly quiet, close to public transport and safe to get around in at night. My children are all adults and totally independent, I'm currently single so enjoy a fairly full-on social life outside my work hours. I love walking & my gym is a dance venue, preferably with a live band. I'm currently working on building up my brand ambassador work and blogging so my mind is often on overdrive. I'm your typical Aquarian-on-the-cusp-of-pisces type.... I currently have an 11yo Abyssinian cat and would like to keep her, but am willing to re-house her if necessary.
I'm a social, energetic, outgoing person and working full time as a Mechanical Engineer. I'm very organized, tidy, clean after myself and respect others privacy. I would enjoy a chit chat, night out, drink and cooking.
I am easy going, friendly, respectful and clean up after my self. I like getting along and having a chat with my house mates but also like to have a bit of time to my self. And Although I don't have any my self, I don't mind living with pets :)
Hi there potential roomies I am Rachel, 27, full-time online student studying primary teaching, but also have two jobs and work quite a bit as well. During the week I sometimes go out in the evening but generally lay pretty low and during uni terms, I use most of my free time during the week studying and completing assignments. I like to keep active and love to go for walks/runs and to the gym. On the weekends I like to relax but also enjoy going out and meeting up with friends for a wine or dinner. I have never been someone to have large rowdy gatherings at my home but like to have a few friends over for dinner or a couple of drinks now and then. I love baking when I have time, so there will often be baked goods to share. My previous housemates and I shared the staple items and even discussed at the start of the week what nights we would both be home and took it in turns cooking for each other which was a really nice homely touch to our shared household. I like to think of myself as a pretty relaxed person to live with, I like my own space as well as enjoy being social with my housemates but also hope that the people/person that I live can vibe when i need my own time/space, I would for them. I hope to hear from you! Happy to give prior housemate reviews :) all 5 stars
French guy Working in building Quiet at home afterhours weekdays, away most weekends. Easy to live with. I have a work friend (Hugo, 20y), he is also looking for a room with the same budget, ideally we'd like to move together.
25 year old working full time. My length of stay is 6 months minumum. I am clean, respectful of others and their belongings. During the duration of my stay, I will bide by rules, put in my due and do my best to get along with others. I work during the day, so on weekdays I will only be home at night. On the weekend, I may be home... sometimes, depending what I have planned. If I do live with others, I am hoping to be with some respectful and like minded people like me.
