Finally, the part where I get to talk about myself..I'm kidding. I like to think I'm a great person to live with because I'm extraordinarily easy-going, I don't mind what anyone around me does so long as the house doesn't burn down. I'm kind, considerate of others, and I love to get to know people, and also don't take myself too seriosly. I'm respectful of other's personal space which I believe is vital when it comes to living with others, and also very clean and tidy, but not pedantic.
I'm a PhD student at Melbourne uni studying mathematics. I'm currently living at college and looking to move out. I spend most of my time in either my room or at uni but I'm always keen for a quiet drink every now and then. I'm an avid gamer and Netflix watcher and I also love the art of cocktail making.
I'm a pretty relaxed open minded guy from Tanja (I put money on you not knowing where that is) near Merimbula on the far south coast, I've been living in Melbourne since 2013 where I've studied classical history and archaeology, and started a masters of cultural material conservation. Also completed visual arts in Wollongong majoring in sculpture and photography. I've discontinued studies to pursue my own artistic career. Currently in Europe getting some inspiration for 3 months, then when I return I'll continue working for Man with a van to cover life costs until drawings can do that for me. I love to cook (happy to go vego also), animals, photography, art, table tennis, yoga, keeping fit, space documentaries, pretty decent at FIFA, all sorts of things! Really I'm just keen to focus on completing a series of drawings in a relaxed space.

I'm looking to move out of home somewhere closer to the city, potentially in the inner Western suburbs or around Richmond, as I mainly work over that side of town. Close to a train station with a car space is ideal. I believe I'm a rather clean and neat person and a pretty good cook, as well as being good with pets if you have one. I'm up for socialising with my new roommates, and hopefully introducing you to some of my friends too, but I'm also into keeping our own personal space when needed. Hope to hear from you soon :) ps. I have a pet ferret that is not used to living in a cage, she is well trained and only nibbles when playing

Hi guys! I’m Isabelle, a 22yo easy going girl from Belgium (Brussels). I’m looking for a place to call home as I’ve just arrived in Melbourne and will stay here for at least 5 more months. I’m doing an internship in the city, working full time hours. At the end of the day I enjoy going to the gym, as well as staying in and chilling out. On the weekend I like to be outdoors and explore all the good stuff Australia has to offer. I love socialising so I’m always up for having fun with my roomies and having a couple of drinks! Other important stuff: I’m clean and pay bills on time :) Not sure yet what I’ll be doing after 5 months. If I love it here I might stay longer. Drop me a line if interested! I can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi, I am Steph, currently a student at Melbourne University. I am Chinese, who loves travelling and had spent some time working in southern Asia. I am an easy going person who enjoys talking with different people from different backgrounds and cultures. For my spare time, I enjoy hiking, swimming, jogging, and I am a super fan of science-friction movies. I am also into documentaries and emerging technology. I wish to meet a flatmate who is also down to earth, and a bit mature in personality. If you have a pet cat or dog, I would be really happy to live with it. If you like cocktail, science, gardening, that's perfect!
Hi We're two outgoing, friendly English guys from Cambridge. We both arrived in Australia in December where we embarked on a 2 week bike ride from Melbourne to Sydney. Fresh back from our farm work we have just arrived back down into Melbourne, and are ideally looking for a 2 bedroom apartment somewhere around central Melbourne. We're both really clean, into our fitness and going out socialising with friends on the weekend. Ideally we are looking for somewhere on a 3-6 month lease with a possibility of extending. We can move in quickly, and are available to view properties at any time. Hope to hear from you Aidan & Jonny
Hi Guys, Work in risk management and European company has recently merged with their Australian counterparts, hence why i find myself in Melbourne. Work expensed hotel stay ends shortly and i find myself in need of a room. Haven't had time to explore the city yet and unwilling to commit to a long term lease until i get a better feel for the surrounding suburbs. Im a gregarious, talkative chap but currently doing 12 hour work days so not much of a chance of me getting to show off that side.... if these daft hours ever end i generally like to get in as much outdoor time as possible, train BJJ, in addition to the standard, weekend drinks. Basically just looking for ready made convenience at the moment until work settles down and i have time to sign up to long term utilities and the like.
I am just a 23 years old French Game Programmer (male) student looking for a place to live in while studying. I am silent, respectful, independent, social enough, clean and well mannered as a whole. Since my landlord is getting married, I will be moving in mid-end november with my little brother (20 years old, clean, quiet). we are looking for two separate rooms (one each) for rent! I traveled a lot throughout my lifetime, lived in brazil, portugal, france, china and singapore; and I am coming to Melbourne to finish my studies. I've been living in Melbourne for 6 months so far, and I'm loving it! I'll be living 6 more months minimum, until I finish my studies. After that, well.. I don't know where life will take me. I wouldn't say i'm the "perfect roommate", but I can cook, clean, repair/diagnose mostly anything digital/electronic, and I have a good notion of what respect is about. I also occasionally bake for fun.
I've only moved to Melbourne last week and I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term. I'm 30 yo, originally from Poland but lived in Perth for the last 7 years. I will be working two jobs most of the time. I moved here to get a job in my proffesion (dental technician) but I've done hospitality work too so I'll be getting a pub job as well. I'm quiet and tidy and I can also provide reference from my real estate back in Perth. thank you in advance. Aggie Thanks in advance!
Hello I'm an international student, 32 years old, ex-graphic designer, now getting into early childhood education. Easy going, working and studying, quite busy, tidy and organized, love to learn about everything, movies, comics, respectful with personal spaces looking for a private room.
I am a full-time student (studying occupational therapy), part-time gym receptionist who is looking for a place to live for the next 12 months. I am a keen wine drinker, dog patter and google searching enthusiast who is very social but also respectful of other's need for space, quiet and sleep. I love to cook, be outside (especially in the sun), watch documentaries and make terrible drawings. I am a clean person who is frequently described by others as 'very chilled out' and am pretty easy going. I am often out for most of the day, especially on the weekends but would also love a place where I could sit and watch TV/chill out with my housemates when I am home. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi, my name is Temis. I’m from Argentina. I’m 25 years old. Well, I’ve just arrived to the city and I’m looking for a place to live (single room or share room) for the next 4 months! At the moment, I’m studying English in the morning and looking for a part time job. I’m a very friendly person, easy to live with according to my previous room-mate. I love to share meals and chats, but also respect each other privacy. I almost forgot, I’m clean and tidy, it’s quite important for me to keep the house clean! Please feel free to send me a message if you’d like to know more!
Female, 23 years old, non-smoker. I'm a pretty social person who loves a chat and to hang out from time to time. I also like to be a little independent and have some space, and I definitely respect others' need for that too. I am currently looking for full time work, but working part time (weekends). Food, wine, music (including breaking into song) and animals are the loves of my life. I am open to any pets! I have 2 pet rats which live in my room, and are super friendly (they are clean, contained and do not leave my room so to other housemates it's pretty much like they're not there at all). I love a good retro videogame session, am pretty darn tidy and always clean up after myself....and I may or may not sing in the shower. I'm pretty flexible with length of stay and move dates.
Hey there, I'm looking for a cat friendly home for myself and my kitten Scout. I'm currently studying urban planning at rmit so a home not too far from the city would be ideal. Working as a swim teacher and lifeguard to fund life's necessities. I'm a fairly quiet, laid back individual that respects other space and belongings, though don't mind the odd beverage over chats from time to time. I'm a big fan of clean spaces but am not OCD. I love cycling, drinking tea and binge watching doco's in my spare time. If I sound like a good fit for your place hit me up!
I am a sociable guy love to laugh and make others laugh. I am very clean and love to collaborate in home works. I love pets, bbq, chilling out. I respect people's privacy and look for people in my page. I am an IT man so if you have questions I can help you.
Hi there, my name is Sandra Lehmann, from Indonesia. i can get along easily with new people but respect about the private space. i love to hang out and enjoy cool and new place. i am clean especially for bath room. heheheh. and i love to cook. hmmm what else? oke, see you! peace.
Hello! We are an American couple looking for a home in the Melbourne area. We are clean, responsible, respectful, and are looking for housemates who can also become our friends! We love traveling, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and sharing a good conversation over a beer. We are currently looking for a place for a few months but are hoping to stay longer if it's a good fit!
I'm an easy going, 31 year old Scottish guy in Australia with my girlfriend on a Working Holiday Visa. I'm clean, tidy and pretty low key during the week - at the weekends I like to explore Melbourne and catch up with friends for food and drinks. We are looking for a place ideally in the CBD or inner suburbs. If you have any questions please fire away.
Hi! I'm an 18 (turning 19) yrs old female from Sweden moving to the land down under at a working holiday visa, where I plan to work, travel and meet new people! Preferably looking for a long term stay. I'm very easy going and friendly who is always up for a beer or two, but I also respect privacy :) Unfortunately I can't cook but I'm tidy and clean up after myself !:) I'm both interested in shared apartments and team-ups. Don't fear to message me :) Cheers!
Hi!! I'm a 26, spanish girl looking for a room. I've been in Australia for a month and I so tired to live in a hostel (please help me!!). I'm cheerful, extrovert and respectful. I enjoy drinking some beers and going out, but sometimes I also like to stay at home. I would like to live in a home and not just in a shared house!! I would like to live with 3, 4 or 5 people (would be great) in their lates 20 or early 30.
Heya, I'm a self employed, author, entrepreneur, Chinese medicine guy and yoga teacher, originally from Brisbane. I'm into natural medicine, yoga, chilling out, reading books, drinking coffee, wine, running an online biz, dancing, kung fu, nature, music and laughing. No pets, no children, no wife, no girlfriend, no car and no B.S. :) What's wrong with this guy, you ask? I actually been travelling around the globe and running my business online for the past 2 years and now I've got the vibe to settle down a bit to focus more on my work and get back into teaching yoga. Melbourne seems like a good place to do that. I've been described as easy going, intelligent and friendly... I mainly cook vego, however I also eat meat. I always pay bills and rent on time. I love dogs. Cats are cool too, yet prefer dogs. Because I'm mainly a writer I work from home most of the time, so I'm after a big bedroom or an office space where I can work from a good desk. Good internet, a quiet neighbourhood and access to public transport is a must. During the days I tend to stay in and work, however at night and on the weekends I tend to go out to yoga classes and generally get more social. I have no furniture... as yet. So furnished would be helpful but not absolutely necessary. Prefer to live in a warm, friendly, house with people in their late 20's or 30's who are interested in natural health, entrepreneurship and/or eco-friendly lifestyles. Sound good? Get in touch! (At the time of writing, I'm currently in Thailand and will soon be in Brisbane up until the 29th of November... We can do a Skype meeting if that suits, and I could come check out the place on the 29th)
Hi all, My name is Nikolas, originally from Cyprus, but I have been studying and working in London for the past 4 years. I decided to go have a big adventure and so I am moving to Melbourne in November where I have secured a six month position in an architecture studio, starting January. In London I was sharing a homey flat with 3 other people, where we often cooked together, watched movies and went out to party and dance our ass off, while still maintaining our individual lifestyles. I am interested in architecture, design, art, movies (the cheesy ones too), so I am up for cultural outings at the museum, or galleries, every now and again. I also enjoy exercising. I practise parkour/freerunning, enjoy the gym, bouldering, rock-climbing and I am always up for trying new things. (to the point that I found myself running away with the circus for a few weeks in August). If you think I would be a good fit to your group/home let me know! Nikolas
English guy just starting my second year in Australia. Outgoing and likes to have a few drinks at the weekend. Really easy going and looking for people who are the same, who like to have fun. Currently working full time in Melbourne city. Here with a friend and we are looking for one or two other people to move into a place with in Melbourne.
Hey, My names Dave and I have another mate Jac, we're currently looking for some extra people to build a share house. We're looking at houses in the North Melb, Footscray, Yarraville, Kensington, and Brunswick areas (and surrounding). We're pretty chill people who actually want to start dabbling in some pub trivia, and love a beer/cider or a few. Dave is studying to become a paramedic with fantastic puns its almost punishable..... and Jac is a sea kayaking instructor so thats a paddlin, so we are super outdoorsy and keen for hikes, camping and other adventures! also we are looking to get into some fitness so some more friendly competition would be swell Dave also has an extremely loveable dog named Ollie who is an outside dog and an all round massive spud. if ya keen shoot us a message on hear or via interpretive dance what ever is easier
Hi, I'm Kevin, originally from Ireland, I have been working in various IT roles in Melbourne for the last 10 years plus. I enjoy cycling, running and soccer. I am currently coaching kids soccer. I read The Age. I like to eat local yummy food. I am quite happy to chill in my room with a good book or just chat in the kitchen. I am fairly quiet during the working week and like to socialise on the weekends. I like to listen to podcasts on my Macbook with headphones; mainly BBC Radio4. I am fairly practical and can fix most things around the house. I don't watch alot of TV but do enjoy a good doco or the odd footy match. I do eat meat but I'm considerate of those who don't. I have a beautiful daughter who is 11, who lives with her Mum, but whom I love spending time with. I'm looking for someone who is reasonably tidy in the communal living areas and has experience living in share houses. Someone who is easy going but can also be relied upon to look after the house when I'm not around. Someone who likes peace and quiet during the working week. Someone who likes to get out and do stuff. I am ideally looking for an unfurnished medium to large size bedroom, but some furniture is ok. I don't have alot of belongings to move into the house. I do have a modern front loader washing machine.
Hey Flatmate Folks, My name is Lisa. I'm a 26 year old female social worker who's come to call the Northern suburbs home. I've lived in the area for a few years and would love to continue living up and around these wonderful suburbs. I'm a socially conscious human with no icky prejudices towards anyone. I love cups of tea with a good book, vintage store expeditions, nana crochet projects, arts and crafty times and a good groove to 70's and 80's tunes. I'm super easy going and enjoys the occasional movie, wine and cooking times with fellow housies as well as having my own solo time as needed! I'm hoping to find a little place to call home with my dear little miniature poodle, Dina. She's completely housetrained without a mean bone in her body, quiet as a mouse and loves snuggles with new friends. She's an absolute sweetheart who would bring a ray of sunshine to any new home. I have all my own furniture including a bed, couch, coffee table, some lovely vintage pieces, bedroom and kitchen stuff - any of which can be put into storage if needed. I'm a clean and tidy kid and am respectful of communal living areas. Never tardy paying rent or bills! Dina dog and I are looking for a little place to call home with likeminded folks so if you think we might be a good fit please be in touch.
My name is Ash, 29 yr mature student, studying paramedics, work as a chef in a cafe, looking a great house with great housemates, clean and considerate and don't mind the odd mid week family dinner. Enjoy watching/attending AFL games and most things outdoors.
Heya! Just a friendly Melbourne gal looking for an unfurnished room somewhere in the inner north or east, after spending four long years on the wrong side of the river while finishing uni. PROS: - Above average knowledge of native Australian birdlife - Never leaves unwashed dishes in the sink - Can find north without a compass provided it's not cloudy CONS: - Not great at opening jars - Tendency to get obsessed with uncool TV shows (e.g. Air Crash Investigations) - No longer have a 5 star uber rating as my housemate once brought home a stray who turned out to be a bit casually racist (but still a solid 4.9) I'll be starting full time work in February in a grad program in the CBD (currently working part time). My current lease is up in mid December but I would ideally like to move in sometime in late November. I've had four years of various sharehouse experiences and am pretty easygoing - ideally I am looking for somewhere mostly quiet, friendly and reasonably clean - but the occasional house party/gathering is still definitely welcome. Sociable places are good, love the occasional shared meal/gardening but I'm pretty busy and independent so happy to doing my own thing too. Broadly speaking I enjoy being outside, art, theatre, gigs/festivals and travel as well as the occasional quiet drink and/or smashed avo (hence not saving for a deposit..). Move date, price, etc are all flexible so please feel free to get in touch with any questions :)
I'm a student working in Christmas and looking for a place to live in the summer. I'm relatively quiet but I don't mind occassional parties for fun. I'm very tidy, clean and organized.
Im a paramedic student, currently living in Heidelberg. I work at a pub in Fitzroy north. I'm easy going, get along with anyone, always up for having fun and trying new things. I'm a tiny bit OCD (nothing bad) so I like to keep things tidy and I don't mind cleaning. In my spare time I like to get outdoors, go on adventures, exercise, catch up with friends and all the usual stuff. Currently living at home but very keen to take that step and move out. I would preferably like to live with female housemates but I'm still open to other arrangements with the right people Don't hesitate to message if you think we'd work well together
Hi my name is Ahren, I am an 18 year old Agender (I only picked male because it was obligatory to choose one) Canadian living in Australia. I am friendly, quiet (except for when i play guitar), don't drink often, enjoy cooking, and like to keep a tidy home. I am hoping to work full time in Melbourne. An LGBTQ+ space would be greatly appreciated.
My name is Matteo, I'm 30 and I'm a Italian worker. I'm looking for a private accomodation I'm a full time worker, easy man. Love chill, meet new people, music, every time is a new experience for me. Move asap Regards
Hey, Brit just arrived in Oz on my working holiday. Only looking to live with 3 or more people who enjoy going out. Just finished travelling Africa and Asia over the last year so big on travelling but keen to have my own bed for a while. Likes: food, nights out/drinking, gym, drawing, motorbikes, gigs, tattoos, whitewater kayaking, being outdoors in general, goon. Dislikes: children, mornings, selfies, people who dab. Lived with four girls for two years before I started travelling and before that at uni a couple of lads so pretty chilled on whatever the setup is.
Hi there! I'm a 26 year old guy looking to move into an inner north place with likeminded people. I work full time Monday to Friday in South Melbourne as a Photographer; so generally take it easy during the week; few dinners/activities here and there, then get out and about on the weekend. I enjoy sharing a meal from time to time, being respectful of other housemates by cleaning up after myself and generally keeping a good vibe around the house. I've got a few things I can bring to the house including a 60' Smart TV, great for those nights in with Netflix.
Currently studying a PhD in Sport Science. Looking for somewhere to live after my uni accommodation lease runs out on the 19/11/16 (will move earlier though). Usually pretty busy through the week, but always keen to get out and about on the weekend. Love watching and playing sport, as well as FIFA, sinking a few beers, quoting the simpsons and doing stuff in general. Don't care who I move in with, as long as the banter is good!

I moved from California to Melbourne 2 months ago on a work visa and am now looking for permanent housing after staying with a friend for a bit. I'm a positive and energetic person. As a flatmate, I appreciate being tidy & respectful around the house and a "team player" who is willing to help out to be a good sport (go grocery shopping, walking the dog, carrying heavy stuff, telling jokes, washing the dishes, etc.). I'm a young professional-- working Mon-Fri in the CBD from 8am - 6pm. On weeknights, I like to head out for a bite to eat, grab a beer, have some wine, and be active and keep fit after work. Weekend activities typically include: Going for a run, playing basketball and tennis, going to the beach, traveling around Aus, chilling in the park, watching sports, heading on random adventures, and being social. I'm not looking to tuck in too early on weekend nights either. I'm looking to have like-minded, social, young professionals who are chill to live with and have all-around good vibes. Feel free to drop me a message on the site here or send me a text.
Greetings! I am a traveling entrepreneur from the U.S. that has been in Latin America for the past seven months while building my online business. I will be arriving to Australia for the first time on October 19th and will be staying in Melbourne for 3-12+ months on a Working Holiday, while I continue building up my business. I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning new languages and cultures. I'm always up for a new adventure, wherever and whatever that may be! I look forward to visiting new places and making some local friends. I'm looking for a flatmate(s) that is focused on their goals, but also know how to have a good time after a long day of work. Someone that respects the space we share and does their part in keeping it clean and presentable, but not the ADHD type where everything has to be absolutely perfect. I'm pretty easy to get along with and enjoy hanging out with my flatmates when possible, but also enjoy my independence. Shoot me a message if you think we'll be a good fit!
I'm looking to team up, females only please. I'm friendly and easy going, looking to share a place with another female of similar age (late 20's or thirties). I am not looking at going into a pre-established household. I am looking at moving into a place of my (and your) own, not into somebody else's home. Teaming up and going into a place together is what I am seeking, as I've had experience moving into others' houses, and it hasn't felt like my home. "My house, my rules" is not what I'm seeking. I'd like to share with someone friendly who likes to chat, but who also likes their own space. Ideally I'd like to share with one other female, maybe two. I have my own bedroom belongings, kitchenware, and tv/cabinet. I like living in a neat and tidy environment, so would like to share with someone who also likes a clean and tidy environment, as well as a relaxed environment. I'm looking somewhere preferably along the Sydney Rd strip/Upfield train line, ideally Coburg region, reasonably close to a train station (within walking distance). I would prefer to share a house that has a bit of breathing space. I like a house with good natural lighting, and a comfortable sized bedroom. An added bonus would be somewhere with a bit of a backyard & front yard. I drive a car, so also seeking off street parking. I like to go to the gym and live a healthy lifestyle, enjoy getting out on weekends as well as quiet days in front of the tv. I love watching tennis and am an avid lover of anything from the 80's.
I'm a 26 yo female one year away from completing my postgrad degree in medicine at Melbourne Uni. I'm originally from Sydney. I enjoy being a good mate for my housemates I am a social creature but I am also happy in solitude if people need their own space :) I've been renting with housemates since I started uni 8 years ago so I feel like I've got a grasp on this sort of thing and won't be terrible to live with! I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, going on foodie adventures and binge watching Netflix especially when I have upcoming exams. I love wine and cheese nights. I enjoy a cold beer and playing Call of Duty. I also enjoy travelling, board games, musicals and boozy conversations about history, science and politics. I am also super clean because I find it therapeutic but am highly tolerant if others aren't so much :) I don't mind at all if you are a smoker, have pets or are regular partiers or not and I have no problems compromising on things. My lease ends Dec 11 and my close friends are all moving away so finding somewhere before then would be ideal! I have a bunch of stuff so unfurnished would be better for me.
Hi everyone, My name is Enrique, I'm a 26 y.o. Mexican student working full time in Melbourne. I'm looking for a room around the northern suburbs. I'm a very clean, respectful and responsible person. I keep myself busy during the week but I am always keen for the spontaneous dinner or a drink on the weekend. I am very friendly and like to share things but also respect others space. If I sound like your potential housemate please don't hesitate in contact me. Cheers
I'm Ariane and work full time as a patent examiner (I research new inventions). I’ve been in Melbourne for a year and a half now and love it here. I enjoy getting out and socialising with friends, having a laugh, going to festivals, exhibitions, gigs and exploring the bars and cafes on offer. I am also a massive foodie and love a good glass of wine. I’ve just started learning the drums (electronic- so you won't hear how bad I am, don't worry) and love seeing bands. I like keeping pretty busy during the week, catching up with mates and family but also do like my downtime (the usual stuff that’s always written here, blah, blah). I like to keep fit and healthy (that also keeps me busy) and I really like a clean house. I’m independent but really like to have a homely vibe with the people I live with.
I'm looking for an unfurnished, spacious room where I can easily fit my queen-sized bed and my desk. About me, I'm a software developer working on a full time basis in the CBD. My working hours are usually crazy, so I'm not home until 8 or 9 pm everyday. I'm a chill person who enjoys chats over a meal or a few drinks, and I definitely enjoy a good movie. My partner lives in Sydney and he visits every 2 or 3 weeks for the weekend. So leave me a message if you think I can fit into your house or apartment :)
