Hi there, I've just moved to Melbourne, from India.. Very enthusiastic to make new friends and hang out.. I like to read sometimes, go for hitch hike, go camping and have irresistible love the pets.. I am a Post Graduate student ,and I am used to the "sharing a place" thing for almost 4 years now..
Hi there! After spending last two years travelling in Aussie and few Asian countries, I decided to go back to study (nursing), so I'm a full time student and part-time worker (health). I'm very easygoing and tidy Italian guy looking for decent place (6 to 12 months..) and great people to have a chat with if wanted, but mindful of others space. I lived with a vast variety of different people from different countries, I like to respect others beliefs and lifestyles as I like to be respected for what I am. I shared houses for quite long time, I love music (I love buy my records), cinema and cooking, I eat everything, but I'm practically vegetarian, I lived with vegetarians and we often eat and cook together, I generally cook my stuff though. I like wines and try new beers, I find Australian handcrafted one pretty good! At moment I don't have a tremendous budget for living (but I'm always in time with bills) and finding a place cheap or with expenses included would be awesome! If you feel like, say Hi;))
My name is Abdullah, 19 years old. I am an international student from Bangladesh, studying in the University of Melbourne doing the 2nd year of the Bachelors of Commerce cource. I am an organized and clean person who is quiet but friendly and easy going. I like sports, reading and movies.
I'm a relaxed and tidy individual; enjoy my space but also enjoy co-working, sharing meals or just hanging out. I sometimes like to go to gigs too. I have a Bachelor Degree in Music and play guitar and bass; I usually have a few musical projects on the go at any time. Sometimes I go busking in the CBD and play gigs with a band. I work part time as a bartender at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am halfway through a Psychology Post-Grad which is about to start up again. I really enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and listening to music in my spare time when I'm not playing. I live a humble existence and am always open to learning new things. I have a lil cat named Pepper who would ideally be moving with me. She's a nutter at times (mostly dinner times) but is super affectionate and independent.
I've recently arrived from Perth to commence work in Melbourne. I am hoping to find a home soonish. I'm looking for a place close to public transport (tram/train). I'm a health and safety professional and will generally work regular business hours Monday to Friday. My office is on St Kilda Rd I enjoy the company of housemates and like to share the odd meal. Cooking is a hobby of mine, pasta is a staple of mine. Gotta luv a good spag bog I usually like to watch shows on Netflix as a way to wind down. Some might say I look like Glenn from The Walking Dead. I also have a PS4 with me if you're also into gaming. I'm working on getting fit, and looking to join a gym. I'm neat and tidy, and respectful of your personal space. My previous share house experiences have worked out pretty well, references are available. Feel free to contact me
Hi, My name is Murphy, I'm 23 and work full time as an assistant store manager for H&M Chadstone. I'm currently living in Richmond but my lease is up in March and I am looking to relocate to Kensington. I'm a very sociable person and love spending time with my friends and family. I love eating out around Melbourne, going to gigs, cooking, I love pets... and i like to have a wine but generally I live the low key life. I'm a clean person who is more then happy to help out with cleaning and gardening etc. I'm respectful of peoples space but also just as happy to hang out and cook dinner together
I am a 23 year old female from England. I am clean and respectful of others and whilst I like to socialise with my housemates and friends, I'm definitely not a party animal of any means... I have a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and I am very passionate about writing. I work at Peter Pans Travel Agents and will be in Melbourne until November. I try to be as green as I can and am completely open minded to all walks of life and every person that I meet. I love going to gigs and watching live music and also exploring the outdoors, going on road trips etc! I hope that I would fit into your house dynamics nicely. I currently live in a beautiful home in Brunswick, but we recently found out we have 60 days to leave 😢 so really looking for a similar sort of set up. I definitely love to chat with my housemates over cups of tea and occasionally make group dinners together. I like my own space but also want housemates that can become my friends. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have! Thanks Taylor xxx
I’m a Kiwi from Auckland and would describe myself as tidy, considerate and friendly. I’ll be starting a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology this year at the University of Melbourne and am looking for a room long term! I’m looking for a relaxed flat as I generally like to keep it chill. I would like to be friends with my flatties though so I’m always keen for the odd drink/movie/board game/dinner. My interests are in cooking, running, bad puns and cricket (more watching than playing…). I respect privacy and I’m reliable so you can expect the bills to be paid on time!
Hey guys, Lily here (26) from the Netherlands.. just moved to Melbourne:) I am easygoing and fun to live with. Always up for a good conversation and some hanging out with a glass of wine. Besides also love to enjoy myself by reading a book or doing some yoga. Love, Lily
I work full time at Melbourne uni (and study part time there too). I can be bubbly and social, but not in an annoying overbearing way and know when to give people their space. I'm respectful and quiet, chill and I reckon I'm pretty easy to get along with. I look forward to hearing from you!
Irish guy moving to Melbourne. Very easy going and clean. Looking for full time finance work. Outgoing, so normally not in the house too much, love meeting new people and I have never had any issues with prior room mates, I can give you contact info for them, if you would like to talk to them directly for their perspective. I love cooking for myself and others, though i am not very good! Really approachable guy if you do have anything you need to say. Moving to a new city, open to meeting anyone! Feel free to get in touch
I am a patient, friendly guy who is a relatively new parent and loves sharing Mexican food and Acroyoga. The Food because I am Mexican and the acro, because I truly believe it brings the raw humanity we all haven in each person. I am a stable 4 days a week worker with education and young people and spends much of my time out at work and with my child. I am social, easy to chat and love to share things and also have my own space.

I am a fun-loving 27-year-old professional from Melbourne looking to either fill a vacant room or team up with others to start something new. I am very easy going - I have a social, vivacious and spontaneous personality and enjoy cooking and/or catching up with housemates over a good tv show or drink. Yet, I am also very considerate of others' space and enjoy my own to unwind here and there. My profession is in the sciences but I enjoy anything creative in my own time; namely painting, reading and listening to alllllll sorts of music/going to gigs etc. I try to live a very active, healthy lifestyle and am a massive foodie so enjoy going out with friends regularly to check out new spots. I also adore anything adventurous outdoors and trying new things/learning from others' interests and knowledge. I am neat and tidy by nature and proactive with cleaning as I appreciate living in a clean space. Please PM me if this sounds like you!! Liv
I’m Jano, 28 years old from Germany. At the moment, I’m doing Work and Travel, planning to stay 3 to 5 months in Melbourne. I have a job in Braybrook. I would describe myself as relaxed and open-minded, but still willing to get stuff done when needed. When not working, I enjoy surfing, cooking and playing guitar. I'm looking for flat mates who want to spend time with each other like cooking or having a beer or wine together. I hope with this I can improve my English. 😊 I’m experienced in co-living, as I spent several years sharing places with different people.
I am happy to move in a shared house or start one in the area listed. I have all white goods like fridge TV, L shaped leather couch, washing and of course all the kitchen utensils. If we find a place with a backyard, I even have a BBQ and backyard furniture :). Let me know your thoughts. I would be inspecting properties or move into a shared place.
Hi there I'm a young professional working full time with MLC in Docklands. As a housemate, I'm sociable and enjoy a good chat in the kitchen/lounge room on the odd evening but also know how to respect personal space. You'll find me considerate and tidy and I don't have a lot of furniture or other stuff to clutter up the house with. Am partial to floorboards for sliding around in socks :) Am looking for a non-party yet sociable sharehouse.
Relocated to Melbourne from New Zealand 2 years ago. Currently working casually at several jobs, including one for City of Darebin. I regularly dance, swim and walk. I like to discover new places and people as well as quiet time to myself. I meditate daily and do 10 minutes of yoga stretching in the mornings. I'm involved with Melbourne Spoken Word poetry and regularly attend poetry and music gigs. I like books, libraries and reading too. I'm not a TV junkie - can take or leave it, so I'm something of a creative intellectual as well as being quite sociable. I work pretty hard also. I regularly house and pet sit for people because I love animals. That also means there are periods when I'm not home.
Hey, I'm Conall! I'm 25 and looking to move from Perth to Melbourne. I'm a keen clubber on the weekends and love dancing to house, techno and trance music, but most of the rest of the time I'm fairly chill and am more likely to be found curled up watching Netflix and eating snacks. I'm tidy and keep mostly to myself, but also enjoy a drink and a chat with housemates. I'm trans/non-binary so I'm definitely looking for somewhere LGBT+ friendly! If you wanna know anything else about me feel free to message :)
I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide over a year ago, and have felt at home in this city every day since. Currently I study full-time in the CBD, and work in retail a few days a week. That may sound like I'm not around a lot, but I enjoy time at home, too. Balance is key: love the outdoors, getting artsy, and going for a good boogie. I'm a social gal for sure, but foremost I respect people in their spaces. Although I'm 20, I have spent the last few years independent. I know what it takes to be considerate of others and responsible for myself, and I'm always willing to discuss household logistics. I have specified that I'm looking to stay for 1 year or more, however I'm happy with 6-9 months if a superb opportunity calls for it.
I am a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam who is currently traveling the world after working 8 years as a young professional in Telecommunications. I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. That's why I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm also planning to work as much as possible in the next few months. People appreciate me because of my positive, outgoing and happy attitude. I'm reliable, trustworthy and very social. I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. I'm sociable, reliable, friendly, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beers and I am a music lover in general (would love to learn to play any instrument!). Other things I appreciate: food & cooking, sustainable living, serious conversations, coffee, spirituality and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy plase to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Coburg, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor or surrounding area's. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So, if you concider to rent out a room and you are looking for an awesome housemate, don't hesitate to contact me right away so we could have a chat in real life soon (that probably gives a way better impression of myself then this story)
Hi, I am Bianca, 28 years old. I enjoy travelling and have previously lived overseas in London for 2 years. I am a PE teacher, like watching sport and currently play AFL for a local team. On weekends I usually catch up with friends for dinner and a few drinks. I am a clean, relaxed and reliable person to live with who enjoys sharing meals through the week. I look forward to hearing from you soon if you think I would be a fit. :)
Sean and I are from England. We are an easy going couple who like to chill and watch cartoons as well as have a beer or three with our pals. We respect our flatmates space and are clean/tidy. Sean is a barista and I am a baker :) We are in Australia on a 1 yr holiday working/visa and will be spending 6 months, at least, working/living in Melbourne
Hey there! My name is Tegan. I'm 22 years old and am moving to Melbourne from Bendigo in order to study at La Trobe Bundoora. I am also currently completing my Certs III and VI in Fitness to allow me to work as a personal trainer :) I am super friendly and am quiet when going about my own thing but enjoy hanging out as well 😊
I am a full time student/athlete studying Civil Engineering who works part time. I also work at my gym coaching Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and teach a kids fight class. More than capable of pulling my own weight when it comes to housework/cooking, etc. Busy schedule but I love spending weekends or any free time I have with friends and new people I meet, or even just chilling out for the night. Looking to stay with chilled out roommates who are easy-going / out-going and love a good chat. I smoke here and there, but not tobacco, hint hint, would love 420-friendly roommates but I honestly don't mind.
Hey there! I'm Erin, I'm 29 and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm employed full time, working as the Design Manager for Marshall White Real Estate. I'm a yoga addict, but when I'm not at work or in the studio I spend most nights out exploring Melbourne's incredible food scene or trying a new class or workout. I love nature, the beach, festivals, breakfast adventures, dogs, sunshine, yoga and a good cup of coffee. I also love exploring Melbourne by bike and travelling the world. I'm looking to move in with some relaxed, positive and respectful housemates that have their own thing going on but don't mind a catch up over a glass of wine, a movie or a house dinner. Although I do like going out from time to time, I'm not looking for a party house, but rather a clean and tidy place to kick back and unwind after a busy day. I'm an open minded, big hearted, glass half full kinda person and it is essential that you are the same!

I am very friendly easy going Pakistani Guy. I just arrived melbourne a week ago. Currently enrolled in Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering RMIT city campus. Looking forward to find some good housemates to enjoy my stay here.
Hi, I'm Quentin, 23 years old from France. I arrived in Melbourne on Monday night and I just started an internship to validate my Master's degree at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research near the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking for an accommodation available ASAP for a period of 6-7 months. I am paid and I also received a French scholarship for my internship, so I will have no problem paying my rent on time. Since my 18 years I do house/flatsharing, so I am more than accustomed. During this period, I crossed many people from different countries not any Australian yet ! Sociable by nature, I know how to adapt to the characters of my roommates, I do my share of household tasks and I am a real cordon bleu ! Even if we separate our food, I often cook or do pastries to pass the time. You could have your share ! I will also be delighted to start a discussion about a beer or a glass of wine either outside or at home. I think I'm never short of discussion, this is surely my French side! Cheers, Quentin.
Hi, I'm Kathryn. I'm looking for a place around Moonee Ponds/Maribynong as I've just got a new job based there. I work in social work, but for a few months I'll also be working casually at Crown Casino. I graduated uni in 2014 after studying Criminology, focussing on policy. I've recently returned from an extended 'gap year/s' in Germany, where I mostly worked with refugee aid and English/German translation. I'm pretty keen on Netflix binges, group meals, political discussions, casual dinner parties and baking. I'm clean but not obsessive, not a huge partier, respectful of people's space and very organised. I'm a non-smoker and a seldom drinker. I'm not a vegetarian nor vegan, but I rarely eat meat and am more than happy to live in a vegetarian house. I will mostly be working from mid afternoon through to 10/11pm, so will be coming and going at off times. Every Tuesday I'll be staying over at work, so won't be around that night. I don't like houses that aren't social with one another, crazy party houses, or housies that don't clean up after themselves. I am looking for somewhere that has good public transport access to the CBD and Moonee Ponds, has off-street car-parking, and is non-smoking. I've lived in share houses before, including a year in Carnegie, a year in Caulfield and 2 years on campus at Monash in Clayton. I also managed to successfully couch-surf my way through Germany for close to a year, so I've very familiar with what makes a good house-guest. If I sound like a good fit into your house, please get in contact :) Kathryn :)
Hi Guys, My name is Naima and I'm looking to rent a room. I have a happy disposition and am very clean. I keep to myself mostly but also mingle in. My hobbies include playing volleyball on the weekends, hanging out with my friends and reading. Also occasionally binge watch Netflix. I work part-time as an Account Manager, searching for full-time roles.
The flowiest of Flo's. From Scotland. I'm very relaxed, calm, and easy to get along with. I like to appreciate life at a slow and steady pace. I'm a chef, so very much enjoy getting funky in the kitchen. I like sharing and a good sence of community. I spend most of my free time outside, meandering, or writing lists of newly discovered bands or recipes. I like the occasional bevy and boogie, keen to explore Melbourne's night life scene a little more. I love music and listen to alot, I like most genres, apart from the heavy metal angry shouty stuff. Give me some Bonobo any day 👌 I love cleaning, this may sound weird to some but it's a serious passion, there's nothing better than a day of cleaning and tunes! I'm very compassionate and I love a good chat, I always help people when I can. I'm very honest and have high morals. I have lived in an array of different shared accommodation previously and I have pure and fond memories of each and every experience.
Hello I'm Eileen, 22, finished a photography degree and currently looking for photography work in Melbourne, all the while, working as a waitress in a restaurant. I enjoy art/galleries, board games and a good drink. I'm easy-going, LGBT+ friendly and sociable. Looking for a private room in a sharehouse where everyone respect each other and also share the fun of living together instead of hiding in their own rooms. If it sounds suitable for your house, I would love to hear from you, thank you.

Hi there! I'm Rieneke, dutch girl from Amsterdam who just moved here for a PhD at the University of Melbourne, so I'm looking for a nice place to live in Melbourne! About me..I studied geology in Amsterdam and Innsbruck (Austria), now ready to start a PhD in climate research, which luckily enough it became a passion. I also love outdoor, music, salsa dancing, reading, dogs, photography and of course the social stuff. I'm looking for a roommate (or two or three) to share a place with, I'm also open to teamups. Hi there! I've recently moved back to Australia after working and travelling in Europe and am now relocating to Melbourne to start my post grad studies. I'm moving to the city for its lifestyle as much as my studies - I enjoy cycling, drinking good coffee, listening to live music as well as the beautiful parks to explore. I also practice Iyengar yoga, love swimming and busting out at No Lights, No Lycra (Melbourne's best export yet). As an architecture student I have a passion for beautiful spaces, tidy houses and find cooking for friends immediately turns a place into a home. I enjoy discovering local designers, trash or treasure stalls and local produce markets. I also am a bit of a green thumb so come with a small family of indoor plants! I look forward to hearing a bit about yourself too and why you love living in Melbourne - I'm always up for suggestions!
Hey! I'm a folk and blues musician looking for a new home! Hit me up for coffee if anyone's thinking of team ups! I'd love to be with like minded individuals - other musos would be cool, but not the end of the world if not! Looking for long term stuff ! Check my Instagram for a visual interpretation of my existence! Enjoy!
I am moving to Melbourne from Townsville to find work and hopefully start a degree. I am a very easy-going and neat person who loves to cook. Bonus if you have pets! I only know a handful of people in Melbourne and will have to start from scratch where furniture is concerned. I am a very sociable person and will most likely spend my spare time exploring the city or hanging out. I understand its hard to offer a room to someone on the other side of Australia, but would be more than happy to Skype and answer any questions you have. I am gay, so would definitely prefer an LGBT friendly household - although I have a feeling that won't be much of an issue in Melbourne. My idea of an awesome Friday is a big feed, a few beers and a movie, would prefer a chilled household on similar vibes. :) plus if you're a foodie! If you think I'd be a good fit, please let me know and we can have a chat :)
Hey future housemates, I am a sharehouse fan, I have lived in Melbourne with 2-5 other people for the last 5 years. I like to share a meal together now and then and do my own thing sometimes, whatever really. I work full-time in the city Monday-Friday and spend a fair bit of time on road trips/out of the house on weekends. Hobby-wise I am a coffee obsessive, and will likely have one in my hand when I'm at home! I am a pretty clean person and am happy to keep the house as tidy as everyone feels like. That's about it really, looking forward to meeting you! Tom
Moving back to Melbourne next week after 2 years in the UK and 6 months in South Africa before that. Have been working as a Dietitian/ teaching assistant/ chef/ waitress over that time. But looking to get back into the hospitality industry in a full time management role. A little bit about myself, I love travelling obviously and closely rivals my second love of food. Cooking, eating, general looking at food it's all equally satisfying. I often find myself cooking for my housemates, trying out new recipes for my food/photography blog and am always needing guinea pigs for taste testing. I lived in Melbourne four years ago while I was studying and am really looking forward to rediscovering it. I'm looking to find a share house with rather social people who are keen to head to the local pub, cook a meal with or have a chat of a glass of wine or two. I would say I'm a rather social person but I do enjoy my own time now again and can tend it chill in my room from time to time. I've lived in share houses for the past 8 years so I think I've learnt to be a pretty easy person to live with. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and am good at taking the rubbish out. A little bit about some of my interests in case your'e interested - yoga, pottery, running, music (lately mostly classic African disco vibes), photography, brunch, gin (if that can be included as an interest), writing, reading and getting lost.

Hi there! I recently moved to Melbourne to pursue full time postgrad degree at RMIT. I am very laidback, I enjoy reading, sports, cooking, videogames and learning/teaching languages. I am an engineering student but have many diverse interests. I have a lot of experience in living in shared accommodation so you can definitely expect me to be tidy and clean up after myself. Also I will respect others' privacy and be considerate towards their needs. I am hoping to move in to a place and settle down before semester start. Cheers!
Just moved over from Perth, fresh grad and trying my luck over here. So hoping for the place to be furnished. Hoping to become a journalist over here. I'm really outgoing, easy going, loves to have fun, love a bit of wine here and there and definitely sociable. I love to cook, so I would offer to cook here and there when I have time. Always up for a night out and chats over dinner. Yeah, that's about me. P.S Rent will be paid on time, because I have a deal with the parents.
Hi, I’m John, looking to share a house with some like minded people. I love the outdoor, very into my work, my tv shows and friends :)
