Looking for a room closer to the city for work, always up for a chat and a drink. I work in hospitality, so being tidy is definitely my strong point. Super flexible with furnishing, basically just after somewhere to sleep. If you have anything you think would suit, swing me a message!
My name is Callum and I'm from the Central Coast, NSW. I'm a 23 year old who loves a chat, food, markets, binging netflix shows, tea, going out every so often and exploring new places (especially since I'll be new to Melbourne). I have lived in share houses in Sydney the last 5 years and I'm very tidy and easy to get along with.
Hey! I've recently moved down from Brisbane to work full-time as a Web Developer at a creative agency in Collingwood specialising in music, events & entertainment. I'm a pretty relaxed person and tend to keep to myself and my work, but am always keen to hangout and socialise with new people especially if it means I get to explore this new city. I’ve stayed in a few share houses before so i’m house trained and I tend to just clean up after myself as I go also always happy to pitch in on house duties. Let me know if you'd be interested in a chat!
My girlfriend, Paige Vreede (27) and I (29) are looking for a place to call home in Melbourne. We are both from Los Angeles and cannot wait to make our way to Australia. This will be my first time to Australia, Paige has lived there previously in Brisbane. Ideally, we would like a place in Brunswick, Fitzroy, Collingwood, or Carlton, but aren't too fussy. Our budget is about $350/pw but we are flexible if it's the right fit. I will be on a working-holiday visa, while Paige is on a student visa studying communications at Monash University. I work in telecommunications and Paige is a freelance music journalist. Despite L.A. being known as a place chockfull of dickheads, I promise we aren't about that life. We are both active in the music industry and would love to find a flatmate(s) who enjoys a cold brew before going to a live show. We're clean and respectful and won't ever put you in the "omg why did I choose to live with a couple" awkward situation. We'll be landing in OZ on the 25th of January and would ideally like to have a place by Feb. 1st. We’re also taking requests for any American goodies you'd like us to take back (it's not a bribe, we're just very passionate about others discovering the goodness of ranch dressing). Cheers!
FLEXIBLE MOVE DATE. Quiet but sociable, intelligent, arty, stylish, friendly, romantic, gay. Able to move any time if you are offering ideal quiet room. I work full-time in education and love walking to work in Parkville as often as possible. Looking for a LARGE ROOM (I have many books and tasteful possessions) in a peaceful, warm, aesthetically-pleasing abode. Preferably aircon in house. Very easygoing, mature, financially sound and conscientious. Bit of a health maven and very tidy in the kitchen/bathroom/shared areas. Terrific sense of humour. Interested in natural history, botanical art (hobby), literature, gorgeous food, green adventures, film festivals and classical and world music. Very gentle, considerate and sweet. I have happily resided in a beautiful sharehouse in Moonee Ponds (replete with a smooth-running cleaning roster) for the past ten years. Sadly have to move for landlord's revamp of the property. I prefer text to call (or check if good time to call) but open to a call before 10pm if you are offering something ideal and not on a busy street
Hi, LOOKING FOR A HOME ...I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom, and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film early 2019, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home so a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 11 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates bathroom and budget. Cheers Peita:)
I am looking for a beautiful share house to call home ✨🏡✨ I work full-time at a mental health service. In my free time I enjoy yoga, swing dancing, & time with friends. I enjoy being in nature - bush walking & camping. I am a nerd, who loves to learn. I have lots of books - mostly on psychology, spirituality & health. I enjoy attending festivals & working on creative projects. I am friendly, open-minded, respectful & easy going. I like to live an environmentally conscious life, though I am still mastering this! I like to re-cycle & use natural products. I eat meat, though I am interested to try a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. I don’t mind what you do though! 🙂 I am respectful of shared living spaces & clean up after myself. WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN A SHARE HOUSE? A place to feel at home 🌻 ... with housemates that are welcoming, friendly, open-minded & fun. I am not interested in a party house, but I enjoy a social home - I am down to share a meal, a drink, a chat, or a laugh. I welcome movie & board game nights, & having friends over for dinner. I am very respectful of down time & personal space to. I prefer to live with non-smokers. I come with one bedroom of furniture & kitchen supplies. I will need some storage space for a few extra boxes. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! Pat here, and reaching out to you. I’m looking for share accomodation with 1 other house mate, although will move in with 2 if the feelings right. Want to live with working professionals ideally in their 30s 40s. Im 38 myself but have a youthfulness which leads people to believe Im around 32 😄 I currently work for Toll managing accounts. Before that I was in realestate sales, and before that completed a degree in biomedical science. Im pretty relaxed and chill and spend my spare time watching stand up comedy, prison reality shows on netflix, documentaries about conspiracy theories, playing guitar, training my singing voice and learning/writing new songs (sing in 2 bands), and catching up with mates and family. Most importantly Im respectful of peoples space and will always do my bit to keep things tidy. Looking for similar house in this regard. Want to move in straight away so lets fnd each other and start splitting the costs of life. Pat
I'm looking for a place to settle for a year or so while I work my way towards going overseas. I hope to find people who are chill and keen to hangout together at times, not just lock themselves in their rooms forever... 😅 I like a bit of fun (well, a lot) but I love my down-time too.
Hello! My name is Chelsea and I am a 23 year old student in my final year of studying VFX at AIE. I am a tidy, reliable and respectful person who always pays rent on time. I am currently working as contractor in the creative industry and spend most of my time on working on new projects. I respect the space of others but also enjoy hanging out now and then. I also like to cook and am happy to share meals with my housemates. Feel free to get in touch :)
I've lived in sharehouses before so I know the drill about cleaning (and worked at a hostel for a while overseas so I have plenty of practice!) I understand the importance of paying rent on time, getting along with your flatmates, just giving the place a good atmosphere. I enjoy cooking and I'm not much of a drinker so you could talk me into being designated driver pretty easily :) and I'm a non-smoker. Looking for a friendly but low-key house (not a party animal) to stay for a few months/up to a year. I enjoy travelling, cooking, crafting, yoga and getting out into nature, just came back from a year of backpacking Europe and I'm about to start a postgrad degree at RMIT. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey! I'm Renz and I'm a recent university graduate from Adelaide who is relocating to Melbourne for work mid-February (1 year contract, full time). My work is situated in Abbotsford and I won't be bringing my car with me so I'm hoping to find a place close to a train station along the Hurstbridge or South Morang line. When I'm not at work, I enjoy being active by going to the gym or the dance studio (I'm a hip hop dancer, just if you're curious). Or if I'm in a lazy mood, I enjoy cooking/baking, jamming on my guitar or chilling out with a good movie/tv series. I'm very tidy, easy-going, respectful of people and their personal space, and always down to make new friends!
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne on the 12th of February to do my masters in management at la trobe university city campus! i've travelled a lot, so i understand different cultures and their way of living. So I’m super comfortable with all walks of life. I am very friendly, adjustable, clean, crisp, tidy, responsible and would be thrilled to learn about different cultures and their values. Tbh, I Prefer going out than to the uni! So the priority is not all about studies. Although, Private time while private time, study while study and at leisure i’d love to go out for a beer and just cannot say no to some some sick parties on the weekends with the fam! Looking forward to learn surfing so a House near the beach would be perfect. Other than that fifa, NAPS, sporadic gym goer, traveling, cooking, Netflix and sip on some good wine is what I do to kill time. To be more precise I’m up for anything, you just gotta name it, well let's game it! Traveling around during holidays? Yes please! If you’re interested I suggest you leave a message. Cheers 🍻
I'm very considerate and amicable, tidy and communicative. I have very eclectic tastes, play the accordion, love to cook, watch all the movies, like all the musics and am currently starting up a mushroom farm with my partner. I'm super friendly and enjoy a good philosophical yarn over a glass of wine but also appreciate my own space and time alone.
Hi y’all! I’m looking for a privit room. New to Melbourne, but I have lived in the Uk, Ireland, Germany for the last 4 years. So I have lived with people from various nationalities that means I’m fully understanding living with mates for sure :) Just exploring and traveling at the moment but my real Melbourne new life will have to start from next week. That’s why I’m looking for a room. I can describe myself tidy, neat, easygoing and open minded person. Can enjoy have a chat with anyone, quite like to have some dinner and drink or two with flatmates. But I’m also very respectful person. Came here for a year with working holiday visa. I can move in straight away as soon as you allowed me to move in. Please just feel free to message me. I’ll have enough time to have an inspection this week. Thanks.
Just down to earth Tassie chicks seeking a chilled space to live, that is close to the University of Melbourne and other funky suburbs. We are all full time uni students, about to begin our second year. The three of us are always keen to explore this buzzing metropolis and all it has to offer. We like to think of ourselves as fairly arty farty, outdoorsy and open minded peeps, accepting of all walks of life. Love a laugh and party but also very conscientious with our studies, eager to work hard and achieve good results at uni.
