Thomas and I have been renting for the last year at $300 a week with no problems. Previously to this I lived with Janna for a year with no problems and Thomas with Jali with no problems. All of us from rural NSW, looking to move to Melbourne for further study and more opportunities. I just finished full time study and plan on getting full time work for a little bit before going back to studying, Thomas will also be looking for full time work along side with Janna and Jali. All of us are fairly nerdy 😬. Thomas and Jali enjoy a good game of MTG, and love playing video games. Janna loves Fortnite and playing Pokemon Go. I am a little bit of an all rounder but love sci fi movies particularly Dr Who, I also really love getting out of the house and exploring as well as going to the beach.
I work away at times, sometimes upto 3 wks at a time
Hey I’m Tay! I’m 22 (nearly 23) and working full time in admin in Thornbury. I’m easy going and fun but also an old soul who doesn’t party much at all- I’m a quiet entity in the house but ideally want to make friends with my housemates and I’m all about good communication. I’ve lived out of home for 2 years now and very reliable with rent and bill. Love to clean and happy to love your pets should you have any :)
I'm a fun and clean person, I'm am super easy to get along with. I love cooking and going on day trips. I would like to have house mates that I can hang out with occasionally but I do also like my own space as well. I'm super easy going and I love to have fun. I love going to my favorite late night ramen place and exploring the city of Melbourne. I have shared house before.
Hello , I am clean and tidy, respectful, sociable and I respect other peoples space and property, thats the important stuff. I am returning from spending a year in the UK and I am really looking forward to getting back to melbourne. I will be training to be a draftsmen with autoCAD and working on writing projects while working. Its fair to say that i would prefer not to get into a party house due to my study commitments but thats not to say I am a crusty old twonk. #lifeintheolddogyet. I love my sport, movies, music (ex drummer) and books but the majority of tv passes me by. I am willing to share with anybody so long as your not overtly right wing or a strong advocate of Mr Trump. I am from Liverpool originaly (scouser) and i still have most of the accent, which you will get the hang of in a very short time, or we can communicate with hand gestures and interpretive dance. I will be arriving in Melbourne on dec 4th which would be the ideal time to move in but i am flexable, airbnb may be a short term option. I will be working full time, i am experienced in a number of fields with numerous contacts, however i will be arriving with extensive funds so as to get a head start on my studies. All the best Mark
I'm a 27-year-old foodie from England. I moved to Australia nearly 3 years ago. I have permanent residency here. I work full time in South Melbourne. In my free time, I socialize with friends, I draw, I'm vegan so you'll probably find me veganising some dish in the kitchen. I am clean and considerate. Won't leave dishes in the sink etc. I enjoy keeping active by hiking, gym, yoga or just generally walking everywhere. I love checking out bars with friends, going for brunch.. basically anything that involves food and drink, I'm down. I’m always happy to hang out over a beer and food during the week or over the weekend. But I also love quiet nights in with a bowl of yumminess and Netflix :D Oh, did I mention I have a great (British) sense of humour?
I am a 35 yo girl working fulltime in Melbourne. I am neat, quiet and peaceful. I pay my rent on-time. Pls leave your email address if you have an earlybird account. I prefer the house to be near Aldi, Woolworth, Coles or a shopping center. I don't smoke and have no pet (although i love them). I dont have a car yet usually travel with public transports. Please txt me if you have a house suitable for me. Cheers Maryam
I work full time with kids with autism. In my free time, I play sports (ice hockey, powerlifting) which keep me pretty busy during the week. I also like to ride my bike, go for walks/runs, go to cafes, read, and bake. I like my Netflix but am not really one to watch too much TV (unless I'm sick or it's raining all day). I have a pet rabbit. She's a floppy eared mini lop. She's desexed and very cute, sweet, and clean. I've been keeping her in my room which I'm happy to keep doing. You hardly know she's there. I'm quiet and like a quiet place to come home to. I'm respectful of other people's things, am pretty clean and tidy, and always pay rent and bills on time. I generally keep to myself but can be up for a chat with the right people. I'm looking in a place with a large bedroom. I have all my own bedroom furniture. Gas cooking is always a plus. I'm also looking for a place close to a train station or tram, preferably on the upfield line. I only have bedroom furniture so I'm looking for someone who already owns house furniture or who's willing to split the responsibility of buying furniture. I'm looking for people who are mindful of their electricity/gas/water consumption and who also enjoy peace and quiet at home. I'm not in a huge rush to move so I'm willing to wait for the right place and people to come along before I make a commitment to move!
Hi Raymond here , I'm a 37 year old male ( young at heart ! ) , Kiwi living in Melbourne for the last 4 years with another fellow kiwi who has been offered the opportunity of a life time back home so she is off, leaving me to ... well.... find a new place to live :) Work pretty standard hours Monday to Friday 9-5 for small design / manufacturing business in Collingwood. Im a pretty outgoing , friends and partner say im good for a laugh , even at my own exspence at times ... so always up for a good laugh. Enjoying cooking as much as getting out and a good glass of wine or 3 . Very clean and Tidy and easy to get along with . Mature by age but I’m not dead yet ...!!! 😜😜 Well rounded fun guy with a small close knit circle of friends and pride myself on being a genuinely good guy who’s pretty open , honest and transparent .
I'm moving to Melbourne in the end of November, from the North with a working holiday visa, presumably for a one year time (if everything goes well) to get out of my comfort zone and avoid our freezing winter. I'm a very chill and fun vegan workaholic, get along with everyone easily. Love travelling, music and dogs (don't have one but totally don't mind living with). Super tidy and organized. Love a cozy night in with a glass of wine and movies, as well as to go out once in a while. Appreciate privacy greatly, as been living alone for the past 3 years, but absolutely love meeting new people. Would love to explore Oz during the time I'm there and figure out my future plans. Will look for a job upon my arrival there as well (customer service oriented). Cheers :)
Hey there, my name is Thalia and I'm from Germany (living in Berlin since more than 4 Years now). I study architecture at a postgraduate level and will do my second exchange semester (Feb 2019 - Jun 2019) at the University of Melbourne. (My first exchange was in 2016 in Barcelona.) I speak german, english and spanish on a fluent level and have quite a lot experience with living in shared flats. These are the facts :P I'm a very social person and enjoy spending time with my friends and flatmates. I like to have nice dinners together or have a nice chat while drinking a glass of wine (or a bottle of beer as the germans prefer :P). In general I'm not a party person though I don't mind a good party also at home, if you like to give one. I like doing sports (danced ballet for 10 years and now I do fitness and yoga mainly). In terms of cleaning I like clean places, but I am not a cleaning maniac. Above all I'm a very chilled, optimistic person, who can adapt to nearly every situation and enjoys to meet new people and cultures.
Coming from Toronto, Canada. Clean and Tidy. Not much of a noise maker. Full-time professional (chef). Can cook and bake. Really into dancing and sharing music (Hip-Hop/R&B head). Not much of drinker like my college days, but if you like red wine, beer or a wonderful rum let us be friends :D
Looking for a place to live in a social environment close to Richmond, where I'll be working :) I've had previous share house experience and am looking forward to moving into somewhere new where I can make some good friends! I love to travel and be outdoors, go out for meals and spend time with my friends. I'm pretty relaxed and when home you'll generally find me listening to music, reading a book or chatting to my housemates. I like to have a few drinks here and there but respect the fact that a share house isn't the place to throw a party!
I'm from Barcelona (Spain) and I'm 25 years old. I'm arriving to Melbourne on 30th of november and I'll be there for one year. I want to find a full-time job and a room in a shared house. I speak spanish, italian and english, but I have to improve my english that's why I'm going to Australia and I'd like to live with some people who speak english, you can teach me english and I can teach you spanish or italian :) Thank you very much!
Hi guys I’m looking for an amazing room and house mate to share with. I’m originally from England and have lived in Australia for 5 years now. I’m looking to share with someone who could potentially be a friend as well as a housemate.
Hi there, I am an easy going, slightly quirky, food loving and quieter than loud 24 year old. I am also half Dutch, which means I like straightforward and honest communication (and cheese). I love a good wine, and I enjoy a fun night, but I am not a party animal. I am that perfect combination of independent but there when you want a chat or share a meal. I am a morning person, and love to make a good breakfast and exercise before I head off to work. I work full-time in the city, making magic with excel and PowerPoint to help client businesses achieve their goals. This job might give me some serious late nights and sometimes take me out of state. On the weekends, you can find me catching up with friends, cooking or simply lounging at home with a book or Netflix. I shared a house with 4 others for 5 years, before moving to Melbourne and living by myself for a year. Right now, I am looking to share a warm (tidy, LGBT friendly, non-smoker) home with others.

I consider myself as an extrovert, sociable, talkative, friendly and always keen to make friends that what i expect to my potential housemates too. Those who are fun and willing to hang out to. However, i also respect of privacy, tidy and hygienic person. I am a non smoker and not prefer to have pets in the house expect maybe cats. Apart from that, we can discuss further. Cheers, Ken
Hey! 😊 I’m 26 from England. Currently working in a cafe but looking for a more permanent job in mental health. I’m clean, tidy and respectful. Enjoy chilled nights in watching movies but also love socialising and seeing my friends. Very big on brunch at the moment! I’m flexible on how long I stay - my current visa expires at the end of November 2019 so would be maximum a year at this point but minimum probably 3 months. Really looking forward to meeting new people and having my own room/space 😁 Thanks for reading!
Hey guys 🙂 My names Cindy and I’m currently on the hunt for a new place to call my home. If you have a room for rent I would love to get in touch as I’m looking to move in ASAP! Please see details about myself and what I’m looking for below. What I’m looking for: A private room that is preferably unfurnished in a share house with like minded people (not fussed about age or gender). As I work and study on swanston street, easy access to the city would be greatly prioritised. I am looking for somewhere long term (12 months, possibly longer) that costs $250 or less per week inclusive of bills. Particular areas of interest for me are north/west, south Melbourne, Brunswick, St Kilda, docklands and surrounding areas. I also have two tiny small itty bitty baby puppies back in brisbane that I’m looking to bring down ASAP, so if your property allows pets then this is something that I will too prioritise, but it’s not a strict requirement, I’ll take what I can get 🙂 Bonus points if the room/property has: - Bicycle parking - A balcony/outdoor smoking area - Possibility for pets allowed - Fun peeps About me: I am a happy, go-lucky gal who has just turned 23. I am of Latin American descent and have recently moved from Brisbane, so if you like food and are interested in my culture then I’m sure we could get along. I study Design (majoring in Graphic Design) at Unimelb so I am a creative bug and would love to spend time with you working on arty and crafty projects if that’s your thing 🙂. My course can be quite intense so during semester I retreat to my room a lot.. but I love being sociable when I have the time and energy. I work for EB games in the city which slams me with shifts during uni holidays. If your household has any gamers, I’m all about that co-op play and LAN parties! I have a PS4 and a Nintendo switch so there will be many multiplayer games for us to choose from 🙂 if you’re into board games, I also have a large collection for us to have fun with. In my spare time I love play my guitar and ukulele (love a good jam if you play any instruments). I also enjoy a cheeky bevy and a smoke here and there. Anyone up for cheese and wine? Or beers and pizza if that’s more you’re scene. I love to cook, read, go to the gym, cycle (or anything outdoor related) and above all I sleep a lot. I’m really an easygoing person who isn’t fussed about much in life so if you think we might get along, holla at yo girl! Looking forward to meeting my new household family and friends!
Talkative, life experience, very reliable with rental payments, artistic and musical. I've been renting a flat in Warragul the last 8yrs and previously shared and rented places around Melbourne from Heidelberg to Balaclava and Mordialloc etc.
